Trouble deleting block in Word X

I hope this is the right place to put this.
I've used Word - and now Word X - for years. All of a sudden I am having trouble with the delete key not deleting a block of text.
Does anyone have any idea what has happened, and what I might do to restore the "delete block" function?
The delete key works fine, still, deleting one key at a time. But when I highlight a block of text and then hit "delete," all it does is flip me to the beginning of the highlighted text.
Word did quit on me unexpectedly yesterday and the preference for "insert typing" had been re-set. I wonder if this is another preference I need to change.

In the words of Emily Litella, nevermind! I realized a few minutes ago that somehow the "Typing replaces selection" button had become unchecked. A quick check of it, and problem solved.

Urgent!!!! I hope this gets to Microsoft ASAP... My son who is a minor IS receiving these girlcam requests.... 2 of them so far and they are blocked and we deleted their chat history. They asked him for his credit card details of all things to verify his age. They say they are searching him on the members directory. They shouldn't be able to contact him at all if they are not on his contact list.
Please add age related restrictions to contact usage Microsoft and please fix the above issue of not being able to delete blocked contacts from the home screen. We cleared the chat history already.

This issue has been fixed; please ensure your son's Skype software is updated: Download Skype If your son is using v. 6.16, please post back to advise if he is still seeing the pictures or avatars of blocked contacts on his Skype Home window.

How to delet block diagram

Dear Sir,
Please help , how to permanentaly delet block diagram of the programme, so it will protected and show only front panel and no one can see the code of the programme.
please tell me steps or any example of deleting it.

Make sure of these and remember
1. You can no longer make any editing changes or view the block diagram.
2. You cannot open or run the VI on any other version of LabVIEW, older or newer.
3.You cannot open or run the VI on any other OS.
One more thing, once it deleted then you will never able to recover it back so I sugges you to take a backup.

How to delete blocked Backup on iCloud

Hi there,
i got a problem. Yesterday i changed my defect ipad to a new one in the Apple Store in Germany/Sindelfingen.
Now i tried to regain data via backup on icloud.
Unfortunately it didn't work - anyway - I saved my important data on other storages. So I configured my ipad as a new one.
NOW PROBLEM:
The old backup-data couldn't be deleted from my icloud account.
Error message says, that the file is in use or blocked by another device.
thats definitely wrong. So can u tell me how to delete the corrupted/blocked file?
it blocks a real huge amount of memory

Deleting block from internal table with AT / ENDAT

Hi.
I have the following code:
sort itab by pred_doc.
loop at itab into wa_cust.
At end of pred_doc.
sum.
write :/ wa_cust-pred_doc, wa_cust-amount.
if wa_cust-amount = 0.
Delete entire block of this pred_doc
endif.
endat.
endloop.
Within that "IF" statement, I want to delete the entire block (all entries with that pred_doc). How do I do this? I'm not sure of the syntax. In other words, I just need to do subtotals of the internal table by pred_doc on amount. If the subtotal equals zero, the records for that pred_doc need to be removed from the internal table.

I agree with Rob. Use two internal tables for this purpose.
data: itab1 like itab. New internal table which will hold the required entries
sort itab by pred_doc.
loop at itab into wa_cust.
At end of pred_doc.
sum.
write :/ wa_cust-pred_doc, wa_cust-amount.
if wa_cust-amount ne 0. " If the workarea has the subtotal entry with amount not equal to zero, then transfer it to a new internal table
append wa_cust to itab1
endif.
endat.
endloop.
Now itab1 will contain your required entries. But please note that this will be the 'summed up' entries and not the the individual entries before summing up.

Bapi to Create/Update/Delete/Block G/L Accounts Centrally

Hello experts,
I'm searching for a BAPI to achieve some functionalities already done throw transaction FS00.
After uploading account data from an input file I should:
- Create G/L accounts
- Update G/L accounts
- Mark for deletion G/L accounts
- Block G/L accounts
Depending in a flag existing for each line of this file.
I saw some threads advising BAPI: BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_POST to replace FS00 transaction.
But, I don't see a way to use this BAPI in my case.
If this BAPI is the right solution then where could I specify the flag for (deletion, update, blocking, creating)?
If not, then could you please advice me the better way to deal with this issue?

The case which is missing for me is when I should update an account corresponding to an alternative chart of account (which is normally done via FSP0).
I'm pretty sure that I could not call directly transaction FSP0 (as I did with FS00) according to documentation of rfbisa00. The response could be 'FSP0 not supported'.
Do you think that we could deal with this issue also with RFBISA00 for Tx FSP0?
Or is there another standard code for FSP0?

Vendor deletion/Block update from ECC to SNC

Hi
When vendor is blocked or deletion flag is set, and after that when vendor is CIFe'd to SNC, is the status in SNC get updated.
We have an issue that after CIF status of vendor still PO are able to be confirmed on SNC side?
Is somebody having cllue on this, pl reply?

Once you have set the blocking indicator in the vendor master record, purchase orders can no longer be placed with this vendor
It will not allow you to create new PO with this vendor in SAP ERP
is the status in SNC get updated?
Yes , in location master, general tab of supplier (/n/sapapo/loc3)
The section Vendor, Central Purch. Block filed is checked or if it is deleted, deletion flag will be set.

Yes for the orders which were created b4 blocking vendor can be still processed on SNC side
If you dont want that vendor to confirm, please block the user.

Speech to text feature deleting blocks after pause, what happened?

A week or two ago, my speech to text started to delete entire blocks of words, and start over in the beginning of a thought (spoken).
I have never had this problem and historically could speak to text an entire e-mail. I understand others with Google phones are seeing this lately as well.
I have tried to change settings, restart, pull battery/sim..etc... nothing fixes this issue.
I need to get details on how to correc this. It's a major problem as I use this often for work, but in current state its unusable.

I have, several times, as mentioned in the original message.
This seems to be a major problem for many people, seen below in this link. Its recent.
I need to know what the fix is. This is my work phone and its a major problem. Please help.

Material Deletion/Block

Whats the difference between material deletion and Material Block.
If we flag the material for deletion, will it solve the same purpose as for block.

Material deletion is the deleting of material from the database .
Material block is u cannot make any transcation using that material.
Both r different .

Material counted, recounted, deleted blocked in inventory

hello all
a material which has status counted, recounted, deleted is part of 2 inventory documents (the count one and the recount one).
The document has been posted but the material is blocked.
We tried to recreate the item but we get the message that the inventory count has been posted and if we try to create a new doc, we receive the message that a count for this item is still active (which is not).
I saw Note 67072 and 495715 (which is for last year counts so not applicable for us).
before implementing notes we are trying to find a different solution: we don't mind changing values directly i the tables but if I understand correctly, tables ISEG and IKPF are the ones involved and both cannot be maintained with sm30.
can anyone help?

Direct table updation is not at all recommended as it will lead to further inconsistencies. Please refer the notes: 67072 - Checking and correcting the inventory indicators and 308140 - MI22:incorrect physical inventory document status and proceed as explained.

Obsolete Country Codes - Transaction OY07 _ Delete/Block old country code?

Hallo All,
we have been asked to apply SAP Note 603152 which refers to the creation of 2 new country codes RS & ME for Serbia and Montenegro respectively.
The note advises that the previous country code of CS for 'Serbia & Montenegro' is now obsolete.
Our question is : Do we need to block or delete the previous code of CS ?
We have no master data using this country code.

Create New account key and assign same in TAX PROCEDURE. Assign GL account against Account key irrespective of Tax codes.

How Can I Delete "Blocked Mail" mailbox?

Suddenly in Mail I have a mailbox for Blocked Mail. This is on my iMac where I am running Maverick. I do not want to collect blocked mail; that's why I blocked it so I don't have to deal with it. How can I get rid of this mailbox or how do I stop blocked mail from accumulating. Thanks.

my skype is near constently removing contacts, almost daily I even had it happened WHILE I was in a call with someone, but not only dose it remove them, it everyonce and awhile will just block someone and remove them from my contacts entirely aswell as messages sent to them so it becomes very hard to add them back or even find them at times. Not only that, 2 days it has removed me from a converstaion iv been in for over a year, one of them maybe up to 3 years, both times at 12:10 central time
This is geting rediclous I cant stand this anymore I almost can just assume who ever I talked to the day before will be removed by the time I wake up, doesnt mater if im logged in or not it seems it just happens infact it seems to have gotten WORSE with the update, before the update it just removed contacts rarely block now it dose that pretty offten to

If your contacts saved in the SIM, you can import them from SIM. Please see this help.
