Deletion of initial load

hi expert's
i need to delete a initial load requset. whr i have to delta this requst nd how? can anyone guide me
regards
harikrishna.N

what exactly you want to do?
delete data loaded from initial request or redo initialization by deleting the init request setting?
in first case, go to ur data target, right click, manage, find out the init request and delete it.. there might be some impact if any other data target is attaached to this data target and delta is running in between these 2.
in second case, open ur infopackage, in menu - scheduler - initialization option for source systems - delete that request and re-run the init request..

• Initial Load performs deletion TWICE!!

Hi All,
I face a very peculiar issue. I started an initial load on a codition object. On the R/3 there are about 3 million records. The load starts
1)First it deletes all the records in CRM(count bcomes 0)
2) Then it starts inserting the new records ( the records get inserted and the count reaches 3 million)
in R3AM1 this adapter object(DNL_COND_A006) status changes to "DONE"!!
Now comes the problem
There are still some queue entries which again starts deleting the entries from the condition table and the
count starts reducing and the record count becomes 0 agai n in the conditio table!
Then it again starts inserting and the entire load stops after insertin 1.9 million records! Thsi isvery strange.Any pointers will be helpful
I also checked whether the mappin module is maintained twice in CRM but that is also not the case. Since the initial load takes more than a day i checked whether there are any jobs scheduled but there are no jobs scheduled also.
I am really confused as to why 2 times deletion should happen. Any pointers will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Abishek

Hi Abishek,
This is really strange and I do not have any clue. What I can suggest is that before you start the load of DNL_COND_A006, load the CNDALL & CND object again. Some time CNDALL resolve this kind of issues.
Good luck.

• Initial load of sales orders from R3 to CRM without statuses

1) Some sales orders were uploaded into CRM without statuses in the headers or line items.
2) Some sales orders were uploaded without status, ship-to, sold-to, payer.....If I deleted them and use R3AR2, R3AR4 to upload each individual then no problem.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi,
Request load of adapter objects uses different extractor modules for extracting the data from external system to CRM. While your initial load of sales docs. will use a different extraction logic bases on the filter conditions specfied on trx.
R3AC1
There may be a problem in the extraction of data from the source system (don't know if you are using a R/3). Can you please de-register the R/3 (i suppose) outbound queue using trx.
SMQS
, and then debug the extraction (R/3 outbound) before the data is sent to CRM using FM
CRS_SEND_TO_SERVER
If this goes well, you may try debugging the mapper in CRM inbound and the validation module in CRM as a last resort. Also, please refer to trx.
SMW01
to see if the Bdocs are fully processed.
Hope this helps...Reward if helpful.

• Initial Load of Business Partner not running

Dear SAP CRM gurus,
We have been able to perform initial download of Business Partners from ECC into our CRM system. We have done this many times. We do not know what is wrong, but since last week, we are unable to perform initial download of our Business Partners. When we run initial download using R3AS, there is no BDoc created, there is also no queues on inbound/outbound of both CRM and ECC system. There is also no error. R3AM1 showing initial download complete but only with 1 block. But there is no BDoc created!! All other replication objects are fine, except that BUPA_MAIN we are unable to perform initial download. Delta download is fine as well.
We have not changed anything on SMOEAC and it is all correct. Entries on CRMSUBTAB and CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU is also correct.
Please help!!

Hi,
When you are downloading CUSTOMER_MAIN through R3AS are u getting any warning or error??
or r u getting pop up with green light??
If u are getting any warning or error then go to tcode: smwp. Then go to runtime information
->Adapter Status Information>Initial Load Status
under that check running objects and check customer_main is there or not??
if found delete that entry and do initial load again.
Also check outbound queue of R/3 and inbound queue of CRM .
If then also its not working do request download using r3ar2, r3ar3 and r3ar4 and check whether it is working or not.
If helpful kindly reward me.
Thanks & Regards,

• Initial Load of customers stopped

Hello,
I started download of customer_main in CRM 4.0 and as a sales group couldn´t be found (which is also deleted in R3, but still to find in customer masters; also R3 gives an error if you go into VD02 because of this) an BDOC was generated, what is quite ok.
BUT - the problem is that the initial load was stopped completely.
In Rel. 3.0 we got also BDoc for errors BUT the download always finished. So afterwards errors were cleaned up.
Has somebody an idea whether this is normal behaviour in Rel.4.0 or what I can maybe do that download runs further after stop?
I´d be happy if I´d get some hints.
Kind regards
Christina

Hello,
it´s difficult to filter out customers as I don´t know upfront which one run into error, as I don´t know which sales group, offices have been deleted in R3 and are still existing in customer master.
We found note 823594 and it seems that with this the check of sales group+offices is simply ignored, what means the initial load will run through smoothly.
Problem can be that you get no BDOC anymore if a saes group is missing and then inconsistency of systems increase.
The error message was
"CRM_BUPA_MAPPING_30110 - No CRM sales office can be determined fr R3 sales group THS".
So the error shows what to do basically. But why the whole download is stopping is not clear.
If someboy knows about please reply on this.
Kind regards
Christina

• Initial Load of BUPA_MAIN to GWA_01 does not work

Hi all
I have a question concerning the serverside groupware Integration and the initial Load of BUPA_MAIN.
According to the groupware integration guide, I have to "Transfer Business Partner to Public Contact Directory".
This is done with transaction R3AS (Object BUPA_Main, Sender=CRM, Receiver=GWA_01 (the mBDOC site)).
When I want to chose the above options in R3AS I cannot select GWA_01 as receiver site (only CRM or OLTP is offered when I click F4). That means when I chose BUPA_MAIN as object I cannot chose GWA_01 as receiver site (fbut or other objects f.ex. GWA_* I can chose GWA_01 as receiver site).
I created all subsriptions needed (I had to recreate the publication "ALL Business Partners (MESG)" because it was missing in my system).
Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance and Regards

• Error in DNL_CUST_PROD1 Initial Load

While attempting to carry out the initial load for object (DNL_CUST_PROD1) from R/3 to CRM an inbound queue is generated with status SYSFAIL containing the following error message:
It is not posible to import material type to hierarchy ZBP_CRM_PT....
(Message no. SR053)
The Hierarchy mentioned in the message refers to one that was created manually in CRM before the initial load.
It was under my understanding that the only hierarchy impacted by the initial load was the R3MATCLASS, then why is this error generated for another hierarchy that should not be involved?
Regarding this issue I feel I have two options:
1. Delete the hierarchy in CRM and restart the initial load. (The only problem here is that I have found it really dificult to carry out the deletion, because it means I have to delete products and IObjects created in CRM that are associated to this hierarchy)
2. Try to find a way to prevent error to appear in the inbound queue. (for example in debugging try to bypass the logic that processes the manually created hierarchy)
Please I would greatly appreciate to get an answer from anyone that has encounterd similar problems.
Thanks in advance,
Pedro

Dear Efrain Pacheco
Just have a look into the corresponding entry in ST22 .
The problem persists due to the duplicate entries in the table T023 or .
Delete them directly from the table using se16:
Select the entries in the classic view (not ALV or grid view). activate the debugger.
Press the view button. --> you'll enter in the debugger
Press F7
Locate the sy-ucomm variable & change it to "DELE".
Press F8
Delete the entries.
Trick-shots but it works!
Let me know in case of any persistent problems .

• Initial Load Setup...Potential Big Problem

Hi All,
I think we have a big problem. I have posted a similiar question before, but answers are confusing to me. Let me explain our current situation and please comment.
1. We are loading billing documents, thus using VDITM.
2. We have 2 number ranges for billing documents.
3. On R3 we filled the setup tables with the smaller number of billing documents. Then in BW ran a full load.
4. The second billing document number range was kicked off in R3 and setup tables filled.
5. Now, here is where I think there is a problem. This second and final load from the setup table was setup and ran as a full load on BW. Shouldn't this have been the Delta Init?
Please comment on this:
I believe this second load should be the delta init. Then after this was done schedule the RMBWV313 job in R3 to run, for us, hourly. In BW schedule the daily delta to run at night (for us). Everything is in sync this way.
My concern is the second setup table load from BW was setup as a Full Load. After this load is done can we just schedule RMBWV313 in R/3 to run hourly and then schedule the Daily Delta in BW to run later that night.
Please comment asap...please.
Appreciate it,
Mike

Hi Mike,
You may be okay! You can run the Init Delta InfoPackage in BW without transferring data, and your delta process would then be set up. If you have the means, check your data in R/3 and verify in BW after a couple of days (couple of delta extracts) to make sure your billing totals match.
The setup tables are only good for doing your initial load (or full load).
Your other solution would be to delete the second full load in BW, fill your setup table with the second range again (to get the new billing data), and then run the Init Delta InfoPackage in BW with data transfer, and you should be set to go.
Let us know if you succeed!

• Initial load flag

Hello!
I would like to separate records (apart from later deltas) that come with initial load to infocube.
To be precise for 2LIS_12_VCITM --> 0SD_C03.
Any idea apart from creating new rules and filling a special field with init/delta flag?
Tnx Gorazd

Hi,
Everything depends what is the reason, you want to seperate this load.
I can propose you 2 solutions
1) Loading without any transformations (1:1 mapping with data source)
Data flow:
Data Source -> Acquisition layer DSO (1:1 mapping) -> Infocube (1:1 mapping)
2) Loading with transformations
Data flow:
Data Source -> Acquisition layer DSO (1:1 mapping) -> Propagation layer DSO (put all transformation here) -> Infocube (1:1 mapping)
Using one of these scenario makes you sure that in case of any "repair" load you can just pull delta for further layes instead of deleting and doing full reload.

• Error in Initial Load of Products from ECC to CRM

Hi ,
Im getting below errors In initial load of MATERIAL from ECC to CRM.
Data cannot be maintained for set type COMM_PR_MAT
Data cannot be maintained for set type COMM_PR_UNIT
Data cannot be maintained for set type COMM_PR_SHTEXT
My Analysis is
I found these set types are already assigned in other base category and around 100+ materials are created using this base category.
After initial load of DNL_CUST_PROD1, i found these set types are not assigned to any of the categories of hierarchy R3PRODSTYP. Since R3PRODSTYP is not having above set types, my initial load is failing.
Required Solution
Is there any other way, I can download materials from ECC to CRM, with out deleting the existing materials and Z hierarchy created earlier from CRM.

Hi there,
Try to attach the Set Types:
"COMM_PR_MAT", "COMM_PR_UNIT", "COMM_PR_SHTEXT", COMM_PR_BATCH, COMM_PR_LGTEXT, COMM_PR_LGTEXT1,COMM_PR_LGTEXT2,
to the Category "MAT_" and then run the Initial load again.
It should work now unless you have some other issues.

• Initial load for Object CUSTOMER_MAIN

Hi,
My client has taken their initial load more than year back. During that time some 900 odd customers where not copied to CRM from ECC because of various master data issues. Now, they have entry of Business Partner in table crmm_but_custno however none of them are actually downloaded from ECC.
We have given requirement to download them again from ECC and create them in CRM. For the same I tried to download them using CRMM_BUPA_MAP but due to the fact those customers has been part of initial load the system is taking delta load for them.
Here, I am facing error Business partner with GUID xxx does not exist (this error would come because system in taking delta load with update indicator 'U' which should come as 'I' for insert as those customer are not created yet!)
The main issue here is even in synchronization or initial load if we download the customer back which were part of initial load system would take only delta values and not all data from ECC.
Does any one has any suggestion how to download data with full details in them as they would come in initial load in this case?
I have already attempted following option:
1. Used initial load again
2. Synchronization with request using Tcode R3AR2/R3AR4/CRMM_BUPA_MAP
Thanks,
Alok Mehta

Hi Sudhir,
Thanks for the answer. I tried the same but I am getting following error in BDOC analysis:
Customer number xxx is already assigned to a business partner.
The above error is coming because this customer was part of initial load however the BDOCs were in error mode and no one had tried to reprocess them after clearing errors.
Now, I do not have those BDOC as they are deleted from the system. I am suspecting that I need to delete some entry in table where the reference was stored in earlier initial run.
Request you to please reply in case you have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Alok

• Error during LDAP reconciliation (initial load)

Hello Rupam,
Abort the load of that object in txn:R3AM1.
Also, delete the queue entries like R3AI_<OBJECT_NAME> in txn:SMQ2.
This would let you to restrart the load again.
If again it goes to WAIT state , then it means that you do not have enough number of work processes to handle this load.
It happens if several other load are running. So you have to wait till other loads get finished or you need to increase the work process, if your hardware supports.
Hope this helps!

What Causes The "Bad Column Index(xxxx)" Error In Replicat? [ID 972954.1]
Applies to:
Oracle GoldenGate - Version: 4.0.0 - Release: 4.0.0
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Solution
The "Bad Column Index(xxxx)" error in Replicat is caused by a Source Column Index "xxxx" greater than the number of columns in the Source Table Definition File Input to the Replicat process or if the ASSUMETARGETDEFS parameter is used and the Source Table and Target Table do not have the same structure, the Source Table has more columns than the Target Table.
Example
GGS ERROR 160 Bad column index(129) specified for table {table name}, max columns = 127
Explanation
The Source Table Trail Record has an Index and Data for Column Number 129 but only 127 columns are defined in the Source Table Definition File or when the ASSUMETARGETDEFS parameter is used in the Replicat Parameter File the Target Table contains 127 columns.
This is generally caused by changes in the Source Table or Target Table(i.e. columns have been added or deleted and a new Source Definition File has not been created to reflect the Source Table structure to match the Trail Records that Replicat is trying to process.
To resolve this error, run DEFGEN on the Source System for the Table causing the Replicat abend, copy that Definition File to the Target system. Add this SOURCEDEFS file to the Replicat Parameter file and restart the Replicat process.
Note: This applies to all Open Systems platforms except z/OS(IBM mainframe)

• Middleware - Initial Load problems

When I try to do initial load for DNL_CUST_ACGRPB from R/3, the status is 'Running' for long time and does not change to 'Done'. How to troubleshoot the problem and can someone help in resolving this issue?
thanks a lot in advance.
Sam

Sam,
Have you looked for any failed queues in either R/3 or CRM? Check SMQ1 in R/3 and SMQ2 in CRM. You should also see if the queues are registered in both systems, via SMQR.
For CRM:
Did you properly define your R/3 site in SMOEAC? Have you tested the RFC destination to R/3? Does the R/3 user have full security?
For R/3:
Did you check the settings in CRMRFCPAR? Does the RFC destination work correctly. Does the CRM user have full security?
For an object such as the customizing downloads, like DNL_CUST_ACGRPB normally the error surrounds your CRM setup between the two systems. If all those steps are workly correctly then you will need to consider a few other options.
Also you will need to do the following in CRM before you try loading again:
1. In R3AM1 hit the abort button on the object.
2. In either SMQ1 on R/3 or SMQ2 in CRM, delete the queue that failed.
3. Fix any configuration issues with your middleware setup.
4. Execute the initial load again for the object.
Good Luck,
Stephen
