Deletion of RRI assignment

We deleted RRIs with transaction RBBS but these objects are still visible in Metadata Repository, Transport Connection and in some tables (RSBBSQUERY, RSBBSQUERYDIR, RSBBSQUERYT).
Does anybody know what went wrong or how I can delete these RRIs completely?

I dont suppose u can delete ur RRI's from Metadata Repository and Transport Connection, eventhough u delete some other objects they get deleted but they are stored in Metadata Repository and Transport Connection.If they are in Metadata repository no issues, u can work with ur things,are they distrubing??? See objects getting stored in Metadata Repository is a common concept even though u delete them,its just like a backup,so u need not worry n continue with ur work.

Hello Experts:
Can one of you assist me with how to delete source system assignment for a system generated infosource(ie., Infosource existing under data Mart). i noticed that in case of an Info Cube, system provides an option to delete the source system assignment but not for an ODS.
I am trying to delete the system data source 8* that has been assigned to the data mart info source 8* and reassign the data source to my custom info source.
Any ideas would be highly appreciated.
BTW, we are on BW3.0B

Hi,
Go into the infosource with change mode. Open the transfer Rule/transfer structure and hit the delete button. It'll ask for delete datasource assignment. That would delete the source system assignment.

What is delete Source system assignment???

If we go inside Infosource in Source system and then right click there. One option there is " Delete Source System assignment" .
If we chosse this option then what will happen? Can i reassign infosource to new souce system after chosing this??

Hi,
Yes, this deltes the sync between source sytem(DATA SOURCE) to bi.(INFOSOURCE)
and you can get connected to another source system, but this may lead to problems. so make sure before delte the sourcesys asigment and going for new one.

How to delete inspection type assigned in material on mass level

Hi Team,
How to delete inspection type assigned in material on mass level. This inspection type is assigned in material master with indicator set as"Task List", however we are using "material specification". This inspection type is assigned to material type using t-code QA08.
I can deactivate this inspection type using QA08, but I want to delete this record from material master first. So that it would adopt my config. next time when I will assign again insp.type in QA08. I have set this indicator in config. of insp. type as default to "material specification".
Pls suggest me solution to delete this insp. type record from material master.

if Material speciiication and task lists are checked -- then no need to do anything,
but only task list checked and u want to do based on mat.spec -- then you need to deactivate and reassign same inspection type using QA08.
no other way, ensure ur stocks are not in QI

Hi,
I set up some RRI assignments but then deleted some of the queries before updating the RRI. Now I can't open it because queries are missing. I need to delete the assignments so I can get back in there.

the option of the EasyExpert is a nice option (you need to my knowledge an installed expert server in using the easy expert; therefore customizing must be performed, RFC connection etc.).
In any case there could be a further topic there you could get some "trouble" in some sense. If you exchange by mass the phrase in "state of matter" you can only change the phrase (according to my knowlegde of the easy expert) but nothing else. If you switch from e.g. solid to liquid this is in my opion one of those topics which could be WWI report "critical" (normally it is DG critical too). Such a change is normally a legal change that means if use the property "State of matter" in MSDS generation then normally most legislations would say: this is a legal change. Therefore you need to "flag" this as "relevant" (standard EH&S process) so that you get the change mark in MSDS. The Easy Expert can not perform this to my knowledge. It can only change the phrase.
May be you need to consider this behaviour too.

PS: In your case you will have no problem because you delete something but the topic will come up if you would like to "exchange" something. And I would assume that if you have deleted the "state of matter" you would like to populate the same property again. If you need the "relevancy indicator" one option would be to generate a load file using the standard EH&S approach

Delete materials not assigned to any plant.

Dear Readers,
I am trying to find out a means by which I can identify and delete materials that are not assigned to any of the plants. During the data loads in Production, there were duplicate materials created and only one of the 5 duplicates is assigned to a plant. Is there a means of doing that with standard SAP programs or do we need to write a custom ABAP program for that.
There could be more than 10,000 materials like that.

if you know already the numbers of those unwanted materials, then you can archive them with SARA object MM_MATNR.
(it is not mandatory to set a deletion flag first)
if you dont know the materials that do not have plant views, then do se16 for table MARA and check the field PSTAT
The characters in the field indicate which view exist.
call MM50 and press F4 in field maintenance status to get info about what character represents which view.

Transporting RRI Assignment Details

Hi ,
the following is the method i use to transport RRIs
a) Rsbbs
b) Select Sender query ,press enter
c) Select reansport manually from the environment tab
4) Change package and attach it to a request
In the destination system i'm able to find the jump but the assignment details for this is not transported. All are reset to "generically"

Delete Shipping point assignment with plant

In my current system there are a lot of shipping points assigned to Plants. It is taking a lot of time to delete them. Is there any easier way to delete all these assigments in bulk? Please let me know if there is any report that I can run inorder to delete them.

GO TO SPRO -> Enterprises structure -> Assignment -> Logestic Execution -> assign shipping point to site then search for plant and delet the shipping point which you don't want to keep,
and
SPRO -> Logestic Execution -> SHIPPING -> assign shipping point and delet the shiping points from shipping point determination

Delete incorrect settype assignment from Hierarchy/Category

Hi Friends,
Iam working in CRM 7.0. When I go COMM_HIERARCHY transaction, I have a Z Hierarchy ID (ZHIERARCHY), and in this I have a Z Category ID (ZCATEGORY). In the settype tab, there is a settype assigned, which got assigned incorrectly. Iam not sure how this got assigned to the Category ID. This looks like a GUID.
Now I need to correct the settype assignment. I tried,
1. Deleting the incorrect settype assignment in the COMMM_HIERARCHY transaction. It throws a dump saying "settype does not
exist"
2. Add the correct settype with out deleting the incorrect settype. It does not save and gives an error "settype does not exist".
How to solve this issue?

Can't delete a self-assigned IP address...

Hi folks,
I am using an circa 2005 iMac G5 PPC desktop with 10.5.8. I am trying to connect the iMac to my Time Capsule via ethernet cable, but seem to be having problems with my ethernet card. When I plug into the TC ethernet port, the TC drive, does not mount and I cannot access the worldwide web.
When I go to System Preferences --> Networking, the tab on the left for ethernet connection shows a green dot, says "self-assigned IP" and the status says "connected" PRIOR TO CONNECTING THE ETHERNET CABLE TO THE TIME CAPSULE. It shows a "self-assigned" IP (DHCP selected) of 169.254.69.249, even though I know my TC is 10.0.1.1. Turning the ethernet off then back on, renewing the DHCP lease, nothing seems to be able to make this 169 IP address go away. The wireless connection to the TC is just fine... everything does what it should, I just can't get the ethernet cable connection to work.
Out of curriosity, I went to the System Profiler, and on the network tab it shows ethernet IPv4 169.254.69.249 (name en0).
I know it's not the Time Capsule, as I connected my laptop to it just fine via ethernet. The TC was IP 10.0.1.1 and it assigned 10.0.1.5 to my laptop (I have a variety of devices on my network), and I was able to transfer data and access the internet with no issues whatsoever.
I live in an 32 story apartment with a built-in ethernet network and ISP included in my rent. It's pretty nice, high speed. I connect from the wall to the Time Capsule via ethernet (circle dot connection port, so I know I have the right port), and then wirelessly out to a couple of laptops, a couple of Airport Express, and of course my desktop.
Bottom line, I think the ethernet card on iMac G5 desktop has gone bad: A few questions:
(1) Any ideas what may be wrong? Has anyone seen this self-assigned IP thing that won't go away?
(2) Any ideas how to fix it?
(3) How much will it cost? It may be time to replace my 6-year old desk top computer.

RRI - Assignment Objects different

I am working on a Jump query and am having a problem.
My source query has a InfoObjectA (CHAR 10 - WITH ALPHA CONVERSION ROUTINE) and the target query has a different InfoObjectB (CHAR24 - NO ALPHA CONVERSION ROUTINE), the data are the same for both the Objects but the data types are different. When i drill down from source to target the filters are not being passed inspite of me matching the 2 InfoObjects in Assignment Details.
Am I missing something.
Any help would be rewarded.

Let me be more clear.
Source Query - InfoObjectA (CHAR 10, ALPHA CONVERSION ROUTINE)
Target Query - InfoObjectB (CHAR24, NO ALPHA CONVERSION ROUTINE)
The Data for InfoObjectA and InfoObjectB are the same. So in my Assignment details tab, i selected InfoObject and marked InfoObjectB right across the line. I would like the data from the source to be passed to the target query.
Any thoughts how to acheive this.

Hi Atul,
the operating unit created from Accounting setup manager would also be available from the Forms environment through Payables, Purchasing, Inventory or HRMS responsibilities.....
If you have payables responsibility, Navigate to Setup > Organizations ...and select your Operating unit and click FIND button ....Now you end date the operating unit
( In the toolbar you can also see delete icon enabled if the same needs to be deleted...)
