Delimitation of IT0027 whenever an action is run

Hi:
There is a requirement wherein we need to delimit IT0027 whenever there is an action type 10(Reassignemnet ) run on a specific company code 3000 and whenever the Employee group changes from 1/2/7 to 3/4/8.
Please note that IT 27 is not included in the infogroup of Reassignment and this ia a common action run for many company codes.Hence,we cannot make any changes in the infogroup.
Please suggest what logic to use in dynamic action for this requirement.

You can wrtite a logic such that when there is a change in IT0001 i.e company code field & Employee group is changed then IT0027 should be delimited.

I had the same problem. The fix I found was to open itunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT), click Edit, Preferences, and then the "Store" tab. Uncheck the box that says "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases". This got me running, but unfortunately I have a movie on the cloud that I now can't see.

Can someone please provide me with a simple VI to connect a thermocouple via FieldPoint so that a temperature is indicated whenever the VI is run?

I'm new to LabView so it will be a great help if I can get a push start on the project. I would like to measure the temperature through a FieldPoint connection. I know how to add the FieldPoint to the project, but I don't know how to proceed so that the VI indicates the temperature whenever the VI is run.

I'm not familiar with the FieldPoint hardware but there should be examples for it. Look in Help > Find Examples ...
If FieldPoint uses DAQmx or something similar you should find examples like Temperature Monitoring.lvproj or Thermocouple - Continuous.vi. They should get you going.

Some actions not running properly

Some of my actions cannot run at all, like the Totally Rad Black and white action. Just doesn't work. Some work fine, others will say that the object isn't available, but, you can play through it. Totally Rad actions seem to have the most trouble, but, by no means the only ones. Any input would help

Being they were fine from CS2 forward, I have a hard time truly thinking that Superstition is that far ahead of CS5 that actions that work fine with it, are too old. Since this is in beta, I am reporting this issue to see if anyone else has had problems and might have a work around. It may be something simple as clicking on a step that I didn't think to do. Its not my first upgrade Just trying to troubleshoot here.

Promotion action - payroll run - not allowing to change payroll area in IT1

Hi Friends,
My client has the following query:
"One of the employee has been promoted from employee group 2 (Workmen) to employee group (Management Staff). We have run promotion action now, that is after running pay roll for the month of May 2011. Now it is not allowing to change the pay roll area in orga. assignment effective from 01.04.2011, please do the needful on priority to run pay roll for the month of May 2011."
Can anyone please help me and tell me what needs to be done in such cases.

Hi,
As you said that you have already configured ABKRS feature for defaulting payroll area based on your employee group.
So when you run the promotion action it should actually pick up the default payroll area according to new employee group.
Are you able to do that? or did you manually change it on IT 0001 screen.
If you want it to be automatically defaulted then check your feature DFINF it should have value X if you want it from customising or leave it blank if it should be copied form the previous record

Whenever I try to run 2-3 programs my computer stars clicking and freezing

I have a fairly new iMac G5, not the new iMac with front row and the camera. So whenever I try to use, for instance itunes, safari and ichat it will start to freeze then make this weird clicking noise and then unfreeze. Then a minute or so later it will freeze when I click on another web site or try to change the song or something. The computer has 1GB of ram a 250GB hard drive and a 2GHz processer. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please tell me. I would rather not go to the apple store.

I would suggest two things. First, download a utility like Cocktail, and run all the scripts.
Then download the Combo update and apply it over the delta that most users download through software update.
Then repair permissions in Cocktail again.
Hopefully that is all it takes, but be sure to post back here if it does not.

Loading XSL file in XSL Transforam action at run time

I want to use XSL Transforamtion action in weblogic integration and name of
XSL file should pick at run time from a variable.
I am using :"com.bea.wlxt.repository" package APIs for connecting to repository &
get the XSL file from it. Check the following code

("wlxt://xslt/4112req-mli0018req-xsl");
InputStream in = myUrl.openStream();
This code gives me error that "java.io.IOException:Entity 4112req-mli0018req-xsl"
not found in repository.
Where as the file is actually present in the root of the repository. I am not sure
why I am getting this error. Has somebody done something similar ? I am doing something
wrong ?

Form Builder crashes whenever I try to run form locally

I am using Oracle Developer Suite 10g (Forms 9.0.4.0.19) on Windows XP SP3, IE8.
Whenever I try to execute (run) form from Forms Builder locally Forms Builder just crashes (get error: Oracle Forms Designer has encountered a problem and needs to close ).

First, the Builder crashing has nothing to do with what browser you are using. The Builder crashing is a Builder issue. It is possible that the Builder is crashing due to a corrupted installation or permissions issue at the OS level. It could also be a bug. So, as I mentioned already, it may be time to upgrade to a more 21st century version of the product or at least consider applying a current patch to what you have. Patches are only available to customers with access to MyOracleSupport.

Getting the name of the Action that runs this script

If I create a action in photoshop to run a script called "test script", How can I determine within the "test script" what action name started running this script? I'm trying to write a script to scale my images. The scaling will be determined by what Action ran this script.
Example
Action Names are 5x7, 4x6, 8x10
Eash action above will run the same script called "scale me"
Within "scale me", the java code will determine that 4x6 started running "scale me"
"scale me" will go to the section within the java code to scale the image loaded in Photoshop to a 4x6 size.
The reason for writing the "scale me" code this way is that I can maintain only one script to scale my images.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

My script is a single file that is run by the Actions, I've created for each size and each action runs the same script. When the script runs, it determines via "ActionReference();" what the current selected Action name is and then applies the scaling. This script has logic for landscape and portrait and will scale using the different algorithms (bicubic xxxx) depending if it is reducing the image or enlarging.   The parametersfor the scaling is long side and constraint proportions.
So if I have to add another size to the code, all I need to do is to add one line of code to the script, copy any of the existing Actions and rename the copied Action to the size and I am done.
I'm not a experience programmer so pls don't laugh at my coding but have done some C, C++, Fortran (Yes I'm an electrical engineer) in my days. A number of things has stumped me abit and one of them was the use of arrays which didn't work for me too well. I was to use the array for storing my parameters of each size. Another one that really got me puzzled was the use of the docRef = activeDocument object. The docRef.height and docRef.width will tell you the dimensions of the document based on the units set for rules. I set mine for pixels. The problem I had was the statement if(docRef.height > docRef.width) { do some stufff}. If I change the > to < for the same document it alway gives me a "true" logical. After some thoughts today, I suspect that true is anything not 0 and false is only 0. I will try this out tonight. This theory does not fit well with my understanding on how the if statement works in other languages. Any comments on this would be appreciated.
Oh and I noticed some extra code var declarations that is not needed such as the activeHistoryState - was determining if I need to use this or the perferences.rulerunits to restore my ruler perferences and apparently the activeHistoryState does not and forgot to remove from the code.

Unable Submit Form Value to Action when running struts-portlet in OracleAS

Hi,I have develop a portlet using struts & pdk, after that deploy it by OC4J and register the
provider at Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.2.2.
However the formbean value is unable passing to action after clicking submit button,this problem

Automator Folder Action Not Running

I have created a simple automator folder action that helps me to keep my downloads folder organized. I want to move various files with certain file exensions to specific folder.
I am finding the process to be intermittantly successful. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not run. I've looked in activity monitor but do not see the automator launcher process running. I think that is why I am having issues. At other times, when it does run, the workflow hangs and I have to kill Automator Runner.
Any ideas on helping me with automator folder actions?

What does Finder -> select folder -> Control-Click -> Services -> Folder Actions Setup say about your existing folder action?
Are folder actions enabled in the setup window?
Is your folder action attached to your folder?
For diagnostics, create a very simple Automator folder action (such as "Ask for Confirmation"; it does not need to make sense, it just needs to be something that you can use to verify the folder action occurred), and attach that to any folder. If that works, build up to making your PDF action work.

Actions are running slow

my actions are all of a sudden running really slow! I can't take it! Takes like 10 min to flatten an image! any suggestions???

PS5 Crashes in 32-bit Mode When Certain Actions Are run

Running PS5 under OS 10.6.3 on a dual quad core intel machine w/14GB of ram, files are stored on an internal drive. Some actions will crash photoshop in 32-bit mode but not 64-bit. Is there anything that I can do to track down the problem and fix it?

The actions in question do not call on any third party plugin-ins.
