Deliveries - best method to view output types

What is the best method for me to view a history of Deliveries and their associated output types (at Header level) ?
If nothing std what tables do I need to work with ?
Thanks,
Nick

  • Best method to upload info type 8 (Basic pay)

    Hi Team,
    Could you share some information on  master data upload for info type 8.
    What is the best way to upload the master data info type 8.
    when we can GO for BDC and go for LSMW.
    Thanks in advance.
    MVR

    You can go for either, but you may need to put in some coding in the LSMW as well. Several of my projects we have always used LSMW.
    The fields in IT 0008 are shown in tabular form, but in the back end they are stored as LGA01, LGA02 etc.
    Dpedning onyour country, the employees may have anywhere between 1 and 10 wagetypes in It 0008, it is very very unusual to have more than 10 wagetypes in It 0008,
    So your data collection template will have ten columns for the wagetypes, and the first column will get loaded in LGA01 and second in LGA02 and so forth.
    this is just a a high level idea, the spreadsheet will become more complex if some of the wagetypes are amounts and others are unmbers/units. also if there are diffent set of wagetypes for different employee groups.

    Hi Gurus,
    SAP has provided an option to assign the SAP script In the communication method screen which will use to print the layout (document) using this SAP script.  Internally it will overwrite the form name of the Nace transaction. SAP has not provided a field to assign the Adobe forms.
    Can any one help me to resolve this issue

    I don´t understand your problem. I always use Adobe forms in my NACE transaction. Otto

  • Clarifications in pick list output type EK00

    Hello ,
    Have any one of you used the pick list output EK00 . I have
    tried this and I do have some issues with
    We are using SAP R/3 4.7 x 200 version .
    Output type EK00 is not available in the application V2 (
    Shipping ) . Its available in application V4 (Shipping special
    case).
    1. I have assigned the shipping points through T code VOK2 as I
    am not able to find the output EK00 through customization menu.
    2. I have maintained the printers details through VP01SHP ( correct me if I am wrong) . I am using the standard program RVADEK01 and form
    SD_PICK_SINGLE in the output EK00.
    After doing the above setting when I am creating delivery in
    VL01N , the output type EK00 is not assigned automatically and
    when I try to assign it manually , it gives an error message
    "Processing program missing for output EK00 (medium 1)in
    application V2" . I dont know why the system is looking for
    application V2 when it is not available in V2 and only available
    in V4 .
    Am I missing anything in my process . Can some one help me in this .
    With regards,

    2.In the left frame, under Dialog Structure, double-click on the Processing routines folder.
    3.On the Change View "Processing Routines": Overview screen, choose  .

  • Output type using ABAP proxy

    Hi All,
    Is it possible to create an output type for delivery or invoice using ABAP proxy? If yes do we need to follow some special steps(apart from the usual setting we do for EDI or print outputs) to be followed for this?
    Regards,
    Sajith.

    Hi Sajith Hari,
    I am not aware about the ABAP option but you can certainly use NACE tcode and select V2 or V3 accordingly for deliveries or invoices>go to output types and create your desired output types.

    One of our Trading Partner wishes to implement the 753 Routing Request and 754 Routing Instructions.  Can anyone give me best practice answer the following Questions?  We are on SAP ECC6 R3
    What Application? i.e. V2, V7?
    What output condition to use?  i..e. LALE, LAT2, SEDI????
    What Message type?  i.e SHPADV?
    What Basic Idoc Type? i.e SHPMNT05?
    What Message Code?  i.e. SHPM?
    What Process Code?  i.e. SHPM??
    What Function Module? i.e. IDOC_OUTPUT_SHPMNT??
    Does the SAP Transpotation Module have to be configured for this to be implemented?
    Your comments are greatly appreciated, we have until Nov 1 to be compliant?

    Good Morning,
    While I did not get any responses from my question, yes, I was able to determine what needed to be configured.   I hope the below will help you: This is for SAP ECC6
    The output application for the 753 Routing Request is "V7"
    The output type is "SEDI"
    Transmission medium is "6"
    The Basic Idoc type is "Shipmnt05"
    when setting up your Partner Profile (WE20) add:Message Partner Role "SP" with Message type "SHPADV', Message coed "753", Basic Type "SHPMNT05", Message Control add Application "V7", Message type "SEDI", Process Code "SHPM".
    also http://scn.sap.com/thread/698368 pages 14 and 15 were helpful.
    I have not configured the Inbound 754.  For now the inbound 754 Routing Instructions will be emailed to our traffic department.
    Thank you,
    Have a great day,

    however when trying to produce ooutput via comm method 5, external send, i am gettting red error messages/ traffic ligh
    processing log is as follows:-
    "processing log for program   xxxxxxxx routine ENTRY

    please could someone provide our Abapper with the missing coding that is needed to accomodate the External send functionality
    Many thanks for your help on this matter
    Tony

    Tony
    Check if you have done the following:
    1) Maintained Email address in the customer master data?
    2) Maintained Email address in the user  master data, this could be the generic/batch user you use for outputs.
    3) Set up communication strategy in config for external sending: SPRO/IMG/Sales and Distribution/Basic Functions/Output Control/Determine Communication Strategy.
    4) Set up settings for SAPconnect  using SCOT?
    Please follow the following OSS notes for more details and ensure that you have done all those steps:
    454893 - CHECKLISTSD: Sales document output as an e-mail
    960088 - FAQ: Sending SD messages externally
    Let me know how it goes.

  • Help viewing an output type requirement

    We have a few custom output type requirements and I need to know how to view them.  When I go to the "Control Data" overview (through SPRO) and click the dropdown for the output requirement the custom requirements do not show up.  We are having a problem with an output type calling the wrong print program and we believe that it has to do with the requirement associated with that output type.
    Regards,
    Davis

    Hi Davis,
    Please try transaction NACE and VOFM to see the output type configuration and requirement.

  • WMTA - Output type for Inbound Deliveries

    I am looking at the output control requirement in WMTA for Inbound Deliveries by considering vendor address
    Scenario:
    Domestic Vendors : Trigger WMTA (ie send immediately) as soon as Inbound Delivery
    is created
    and
    International Vendors: Same Output Type WMTA but  (ie send with application own transaction)
    ie at the time of putaway they change to send immediately and that  creates TO.
    Is this scenario possible with one outtype (WMTA) ie create TO immediately for domestic deliveries and not for International deliveries ie trigger wmta by going to change mode in inbound delivery.
    Please advice
    Thank You
    Thirumal Reddy

    Hello rao,
    Right now they dont have any diffrences between vendors and they manually decid e them.
    Is it possible to create two confirmational control keys ie 0001 and 0004 for domestic and international vendors in creating inbound deliveries.
    and attached them in conditional table and acess seq.
    please advice.
    Thank you
    Thirumal.

  • How to make use of communication method in output type for new smartform?

    Hi all,
    My requirement, send the smartform to the carrier by fax/email/print based on the output condition records created.
    Here are the things that I had done.
    1) created a ZSMARTFORMS - smartforms
    2) created a ZPRINTPROGRAM - print program
    3) created a ZTCFRT - transaction code
    3) created an ZFRT  - output type
    I am stuck here. What are the next steps ? I want when I run transaction code: ZTCFRT, this print program ZPRINTPROGRAM will call this  ZSMARTFORMS smartforms and send/fax/print to the carrier.
    It would be great that someone can share the steps with me.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Have you written any code in your program or just Created it?
    If you have only created it, then you need to call some functions in your PRINT Program and these are:
    Below is just an example:
      CALL FUNCTION 'SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
        EXPORTING
          formname           = i_formname
        IMPORTING
          fm_name            = i_fm_name
        EXCEPTIONS
          no_form            = 1
          no_function_module = 2
          OTHERS             = 3.
        CALL FUNCTION i_fm_name
          EXPORTING
            control_parameters = control_parameters
            output_options     = output_options
            user_settings      = space
            vbeln              = p_vbeln
          TABLES
            it_vbak            = it_vbak
          EXCEPTIONS
            formatting_error   = 1
            internal_error     = 2
            send_error         = 3
            user_canceled      = 4
            OTHERS             = 5.
        IF sy-subrc <> 0.
          MESSAGE ID sy-msgid TYPE sy-msgty NUMBER sy-msgno
                  WITH sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.
        ENDIF.
    After calling second function, system execution will reach to the SMARTFORM (which you have created). There in smartform you can do whatever you want.

  • Diff. between PPF and OUTPUT TYPES

    hi,
      can anybody tell the exact diff. bet.PPF and OUTPUT TYPES.
    ppf is the advance method of output types.
    could anybody pls explain breifly

    Hi
         Post Processing Framework allows you to process actions for different output types such as printing, sending emails, or faxing using Smart Forms. Since SAP applications work on the document concept (i.e., they generate documents for key business events or processes), they can also trigger a workflow or user exit to perform functions based on the conditions you configure. This technology replaces the output control in R/3 with a wider functional scope that is simple to maintain, use, and connect to another SAP system, a non-SAP system, or any other subsystem.
    Post Processing Framework (PPF) technology is a uniform interface available since SAP R/3 Enterprise Release 4.7. Part of the SAP Web Application Server (Web AS), PPF can trigger workflow for email, fax, and print, or can call another method, such as sending data to another subsystem. The actions are based on the conditions that you configure.
    PPF has tools for scheduling, starting, and monitoring actions. Determining, generating, and processing actions can either take place automatically or with user interaction. A condition trigger could be a preset condition the system can look for, such as a price higher than a certain amount, or it could be based on a user action, such as an approval in the case of workflow.
    I’m going to show you how to set up actions that trigger application documents. The system supplies some samples, so you can use Copy with Reference and make your own changes to predefined configurations, or you can take the approach of creating your configuration from scratch using the wizard. I’ll explain the two methods:
    Create and modify PPF directly in the Web AS configuration in the application area. I’ll start with the customizing steps, as they explain the configuration from the application point of view.
    Create a PPF definition using the wizard, a quick setup tool that focuses on the technical setup of the PPF. Using a wizard, you get the same results in terms of the technical settings for the PPF configuration as if you had used the configuration steps directly. The wizard provides application area detail and pre-populated information and it is the best practice. It can help when you create a new action that differs widely from those you already have.
    The wizard, however, helps you perform the definition only — you must do other associated configurations directly in the application area.

  • Smartforms PO - output type external send - for purchase order

    Dear
    I want to define a specific output type  for example ZPOM, with medium 'External Send'. The communication Strategy is SMTP (MAIL).
    The configuration of the Processing Routine is the following:
    Program: - FM06P
    Form Routine: ENTRY_MEU
    SMARTFORM: Z_MM_PURCHASEORDER.
    When we create this mesage in the PO, no mail is send. There is also no processing log available.
    Is it possible to use the same smartform with print program that is used for Medium 'Print Output' for medium 'External Send'?
    Best regards
    Luc

    What you need to do is to create in SPAD Output device for E-mail ( in the Host Spool Access Method define M:E-Mail to Receiver/Owner) and then in the 'Print Output' assign this device.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Naveed
