Deliveries Today

Supposedly BB gets deliveries on Tues. and Thurs. during the week.  I am waiting on my pre order still from Tues. at 10:30am from store #530 (Braintree MA).  They don't know if they will be getting any deliveries from Apple though, which boggles my mind.  I don't understand why there isn't a number that they call and say, "Hey, I am still short on pre orders for the Iphone, can we have some more?"  Why is that so hard.  I place most of the blame on Apple for this whole situation, but BB is saying that Apple hasn't contacted us.  Well CONTACT THEM!  That would be a first.

Best Buy cant control Apple. But they can control themselves. And they haven't come close to doing the right thing. No one I have talked to sounded apologetic at all, or like they care whether I spend my money anymore there or not. It's very surprising, to be honest with you. I dont always get stellar customer service everywhere, but I've never had a company make a mistake like this (even admitting that their employees' shouldnt have told us we were getting the phones launch date), and acting so nonchalant about it. Best Buy is telling me loud and clear: "Get lost, your money's no good here!". Message received Best Buy, loud and clear...
Amen, couldn't have said it better myself.  Apple and AT&T employees are so much more pleasant to deal with.  I know these are trying times for all of these employees and I don't expect to be coddled, but there has been a general lack of professionalism with the employees I have spoken with on the phone.  I haven't complained to anyone about this because I don't think those complaints would go anywhere and I prefer to let my wallet do the talking.

  • Inspection before Goods receipt?

    Hi,
Is there a good way of handling inspections before GR? We need to do some controls on the truck before we take the goods into the GR area. If the temperature is to high in the truck we will send the truck back right away.
I have looked at the u201CSource inspectionu201D functionality but I'm not sure if that's a good long term solution. We don't have inbound deliveries today but I think that is something that will be implemented in the future.
    //Kristoffer

    Hi,
May be you can try with two step GR i.e 103 and 105 movement
When truck reaches your premises you do the MIGO with 103 movement.
This will post goods in to GR Block stock. This is not a part of your inventory.
You can test the material if u find OK then only stores does the GR with 105 movement to take into your factory stock or inventory.

    Hi,
I'm not sure if this could resolve your problem but, what I have observed is , people working with large amount of data the usage of Refresh on load in Data Connections (Data Manager) causes the flash file to get stuck during initialization. Once check out this link , this may help you.

  • Open orders,open deliveries againist material-urgent

    Hi
My requirement is to find out open orders, open deliveries againist a material for a specific time period.
wat is the process to get this data.
and later on the quantity we get from open ordes, open deliveries should be deducted from total stock (as of today)
So can anybody explain where and how this rqt can be achieved?
    Thanks in Advance
    Arpitha

    Dear arpita
run T.Codes VA05 or VA05N and execute.  You will get order quantity and also open order quantity during that period. For open deliveries, run T.Code VL06 or VL06G
Alternatively, you can also generate via SE16 and tables like VBBE, S001, S004 etc., for open quantity.

  • How to create diferents deliveries for each schedule line

    Dear gurus,
I have sales orders with many schedule lines in order to deliver in diferents dates. We need to create all the deliveries together but each schedule line needs to be in a diferent delivery with the corresponding delivery date.
I analiced the customizing about pool for delivery creation (VL10) but all I can change is for display and can not change the way the delivery is created. If we select two schedule line with diferent dates, the proccess create only one delivery with the total quantity and the first date of delivery.
Anybody knows some way to make the proccess create individual deliveries from diferents schedule lines?
    Tanks in advance!
    Marina.

    Hello Marina
I hope you are using VL10E. Did you try working with Delivery creation date (range) and Delivery Date calculation rule? For example if you go for a value of 2 for the CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt ('Rule for determining default value for deliv. creation date), then system will consider only those sched lines which are to be delivered today and tomorrow.
You also have the possibility of setting up your own routine for CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt.
Thirdly SAP has suggested a solution for Scheduling agreements ( valid for releases upto 4.7). In this SAP has suggested solution 4 for ensuring all schedule lines are not delivered together. You can customize the code to include Sales orders ( in stead of Sched Agreements)  in your case. Though it is for release 4.7, I think you can use the smae concept in ECC also.

  • Preventing billing split for multiple deliveries (over-riding billing date)

    Hi all,
I have multiple deliveries which should be invoiced into ONE billing document. The only difference between the deliveries is the billing date, which is why it is splitting.
I am therefore copying routine 001 and in VOFM and adding this code to the end of it:
vbrk-fkdat = sy-datum.     "prevent split due to difference in billing date
This is great and working fine because when I have 2 deliveries with diff. billing dates, it will take todays date. The only problem is when:
    1. Billing for a single document (dated 11/08/2011), it will over-write it and set the date to today (17/08/2011)
    2. Billing for 2 documents with the same date
What is the best way around this?
    Thanks

    Dear Pistols123,
    1. Billing for a single document (dated 11/08/2011), it will over-write it and set the date to today (17/08/2011)
Here can't you write the code to check whether there is only one billing document, if so omit your code for the date manipulation.
So that system will not assign system date, but will take the orginal date (actual good issue date or billing date entered in vf01)
    2. Billing for 2 documents with the same date
write the code to check whether all the billing documents have the same date , if so omit your code for the date manipulation.
So that system will not assign system date, but will take the orginal date (actual good issue date or billing date entered in vf01)

  • Aperture 2.1 is out today, with new open plugin architecture

See press below. Sounds really great.
    08:30 28Mar08 PRN-Apple Releases Aperture 2.1 with Powerful Image Editing Plug-In Architecture
    CUPERTINO, Calif., March 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Apple(R) today
released Aperture(TM) 2.1, which introduces an open plug-in architecture that
makes it easy for photographers to use specialized third party imaging
software right from within Aperture. Available today as a free software
update, Aperture 2.1 includes the Apple-developed plug-in, Dodge & Burn, which
adds brush-based tools for dodge (lighten), burn (darken), contrast,
saturation, sharpen and blur. Over the coming months, third party software
developers will deliver image editing plug-ins for localized editing, filters
and effects, noise analysis and reduction, fisheye lens correction and more.
"The image quality in Aperture 2 has won over the most demanding
photographers," said Rob Schoeben, Apple's vice president of Applications
Product Marketing. "Now, thanks to our open plug-in architecture, users can
access an entire industry's worth of imaging expertise without ever leaving
    Aperture."
"To date, maybe two percent of my photographs needed to be touched up
outside Aperture," said John Stanmeyer, founding member of the VII Photo
Agency and contributing photographer for Time and National Geographic
magazines. "Now that I can dodge and burn right within Aperture's new plug-in,
I can't imagine when I'll have to open any other application to tone my
    images."
By clicking on one or more images within Aperture, users can choose from a
menu of installed plug-ins and apply specialized imaging operations to either
TIFF or RAW images. Apple is working closely with key developers to bring the
most requested plug-ins to Aperture such as:
-- Nik Software's Viveza plug-in, powered by U Point technology, which
provides a powerful, precise and easy way for photographers to
    selectively control and adjust color and light in their digital images;
-- PictureCode's Noise Ninja plug-in that delivers advanced high ISO noise
    analysis and reduction;
-- Digital Film Tools' Power Stroke plug-in that features a simple,
stroke-based interface to quickly mask and intuitively perform targeted
    adjustments;
-- The Tiffen Company's Dfx plug-in that provides an expansive suite of
    creative filters and effects;
-- dvGarage's dpMatte plug-in, which is a high performance chroma key tool
for creating seamless composites, and the HDRtoner plug-in that enables
the selection of multiple photos to create a single high dynamic range
    (HDR) image; and
-- Image Trends' plug-ins that include Fisheye-Hemi to quickly and
effortlessly correct fisheye lens distortion, ShineOff which
automatically removes shine from faces and PearlyWhites that
    automatically whitens and brightens teeth.

  • Availability check for deliveries

    hello all!
i am trying to setup for following situation:
    stock: 10PC
    production order demand 1.5.: -10PC
    sales order demad 1.7.: -10PC
    purchase requisition 1.7.: +10PC
the production order has confirmed the 10PC from stock, sales order 10PC from purchase requisition.
creation of deliveries should only consider free available stock, meaning if i want to create a delivery today the 10PC are not available because reserved by the production order.
how would you setup the availability control for sales ordes and production orders (activate cumulated qties?)?
    best regards,
    matthias

    Hi
The productio order is on a different date than the sales order.
What are you trying to achieve by activating cummulative quantities?
    regards

  • Stock transport order deliveries

    Hi,
The system seems to create duplicate deliveries when a job that run VL10i creates these deliveries.
Does anyone have any idea why the system is creating duplicates deliveries when running this batch job?
These are STO deliveries and they get created within seconds of each other.

Today I was reported by user, the similar situation happended!
I have one PO item, got two DN generated by same batch job, both have same qty.
I can tell, it is not a delivery split. Really two DN generated.
(To my feeling, Jürgen L. is trying to challenge the happening of this situation.)
I am still finding the reason, but I can tell, even every small indicator can affect SAP system behavior, but any indicator should make a duplicated DN generated.

  • Consignment Issue Deliveries

    Dear,
I have created a consignment issue delivery, but when I look at VL06O, I cannot find the delivery there, (for picking/goods issue).
Do we have a standard report where it summarizes all the consignment issue deliveries that are still for goods issue/for picking...
    Thanks,

In VL06O U Have lot of option please check the following
    1) whether r u checking in outbound delievry screen or not , or please select all delievry option that will clear this confusion.
    2) what is the shipping point u r using ? as this is a consignmnet stock ( Issue happens from customer consignment and not from ur Normal location)
    3) Please check the picking date and Goods Movement date , many a time a delivery date is in future and we the entry in this field in VL06O screen is till todays date.
From all this i mean to say just check the parameters in selection screen .
    This will help.

  • Simple Request for Answers of Today's Questions.

I realize that you are likely the recipient of very limited information, but as one of the worlds largest retailers I would hope that someone at the Best Buy corporate office would have a list of details that is being circulated to upper management and that should respectively be communicated to the general public that put its faith in your stores and its money in your pockets regarding  what has occurred.  If this catastrophe is truly Apples fault, and not that of Best Buy, there should be nothing to hide.  Please respond to the following questions:
    -          Did the pre-orders have any bearing on the number of phones each store received or was it completely at the discretion of Apple with no input regarding pre-order demand?
    -          When were the first shipments received by most BB stores?
    -          What was the average number of phones sent to each store in that first order?
    -          What is the most any store received?
    -          What is the least any store received?
    -          What percentage of stores received multiple deliveries?
    -          Where the deliveries subsequent to the original shipment for larger amounts?  If so how many on average?
    -          What times during the day did these shipments come?
    -          Did Best Buy sell any to walk-ins this morning?
    -          If BB has no idea how many shipments they are getting and it has not touched their logistics how can the store say that they don’t expect to receive anymore phones tonight, tomorrow or until “maybe next week”?
The questions above are not asking for speculation of the future, they are asking for facts that should be known about today.  I feel that answers to these questions are owed to the public and that not answering these questions is a sign that your organization cares very little about its customers.  Please respond by noon on Friday as a sign of respect to those who are forking over their hard earned dollars in a very volatile economy.  Thank you.
PS – Please tell you email marketing department to refrain from sending emails titled “IPhone 4. Now at Best Buy Mobile” at 4:45 CST today (on a day of such a fiasco).  It is in very poor taste and a further sign of a poorly coordinated effort.

I cannot agree with you more on the marketing email.  Trust me, my team made it known that it was just awful timing.  If I had known that was planned to go out, I would have stopped it.  Ugh.

  • Update BP name in open documents - not in Deliveries

    Hi all,
today I experimented the new function that lets you update open documents when a Business Partner name is changed. I did this in SBO 8.81 PL04. In OEC Computers, I picked a customer with the following open documents: 2 Deliveries, 2 POs and 6 Opportunities. I changed the BP name and said Yes when asked if I want to update open documents. The POs and Opportunities where all updated, but not the Deliveries.
I was wondering why the Deliveries were not updated. I went across Note #1529237, which states that this function was corrected in 8.8 PL18. The note does not talk about Deliveries. Is it a bug or a feature ?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Welcome you post on the forum.
It is not a bug but a feature. Delivery will affect financial data. That is why you can not update.
    Thanks,
    Gordno

  • Outbound Deliveries from Collective STO with SLS

    Hi all,
Has anyone ever successfully created an outbound delivery from a collective STO with SLS sub items?
All documentation states this is possible and that during delivery creation the SLS items are copied from the collective order to the delivery.
We have all config setup correctly to create collective orders with SLS, as when we run WF10 we get the correct results in the collective document.
When we run VL10G from the collective document it creates only with the main item, no sub items are copied over.
We today found and applied a note which was meant to resolve this exact problem, but it's made no difference at all.  We've double checked the note and all appears to have been applied correctly.   However still got the same issue.
From what I can see the item categories NLSH is used for the main item and NLSU is for the sub items, as standard for deliveries fro collectives with subitems.
By debugging  delivery create we found it excluded the subitems due to the fact they were set to delivery completed. This however is how they seem to be created as standard.
We did manage to "work around" the problem to prove it was possible to have SLS items in a delivery, where the sub items referenced the higher level item in the delivery and that additionals created for it also.
We did this by manually unsetting the delivery completed indicator of the SLS subitems in the collective STO by directly editing the record (SE16N) as PO change transactions would not allow subitems to not be set for del complete.
This created exactly how we expected, with all associated additionals data in WTADAB.
Problem is in standard code WF10 sets the sub items as delivery complete, so it would appears that either I've got some config incorrect somewhere (possibly in shipping) or this functionality just conflicts with each other and that nobody has reported it before.
Any help would be great as we've spent a lot of time on this now and getting nowhere fast.
    Many thanks of the support.

  • One sales order-- two deliveries--- One invoice

    Dear Gurus,
My system was working fine till I got this.....end user has made sales order,w.r to sales order he has made two different deliveries & w.r to deliveries, he has created on invoice.....how he has created we don1t know but today also I create, system not allow to do this,I mean it will not allow me to create one invoice for two deliveries becoz we have configured in such a manner.
This error is surprise or shock
Plz throw some light on this
    Thanks in advance
    Umed

It seems delivery split has happened from one sale due due to the fact that at line item level, any of the following data is different from the other.
    -  Ship To Party
    -  Shipping Point
    -  Delivery Priority
    -  Shipping Condition
    -  Confirmed quantity date is different
    -  Inco Terms
    -  Delivering Plant
While creating invoice, system will consider the following for invoice split.
    -  Payer
    -  Billing Date
    -  Actual GI Date
    -  Inco Term
    -  Payment Term
    -  Account Assignment Group of customer
Most probably, in sale order, all the above criterias would have been same and hence, there is no invoice split.
To reconfirm this, go to VA02, input the sale order against which two deliveries and one invoice was generated and check for document flow.  If I am correct, for two different deliveries, one billing document reference would be flowing.
If you want one invoice per each delivery, then as I said above, you have maintain routine 003 in VTFL copy control
    thanks
