I am processing an Outbound Scenario..everything is fine until SMQ2 shows an error in ECC system. SMQ2 shows me the following error:
Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)
Message no. VL609
My outbound delivery which was distributed to EWM system has overall picking status as blank (Not relevant for picking).
Our system is recently upgraded to EhP6, since then we are seeing this issue. Interestingly VL01NO (Delivery without reference to Order) works properly.
Other ECC-EWM integration settings are fine. Delivery Type and Item Category also look good.
I could not be able to find any OSS Note relevant to this situation.
Could you anyone help me.

Further what I see in this Outbound Scenario in EWM is when I am creating Outbound Delivery meant for EWM system with ref. to Sales Order, "Picking" tab shows EWM WHN but also shows Overall WM status as "Transfer Order Required" which is not correct.
If I remove Storage Location and re-enter then Over all WM status and Over all Picking status fields come as blank. But after all EWM processing, SMQ2 queue (FM: BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC) fails with error
Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)
Message no. VL609.
Any thoughts?

I have a Batch program that is calling VL02n for Delievry Picking ,Pcking & PGI....
This batch program runs in Background
For Some Delivery it is giving this Error Message "Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)"
...But When i run the same program in foreground delivery got Processed Well.
CAN U PLS HELP ME

After reading again through your messages, I understand that you are doing both PICK and PGI in single update BDC call to VL02N.
This is NOT correct way to do this, as this does not ensure that PICK values are committed first and then only PGI is attempted. We did face similar problems and have solved it by separating PICK and PGI in to two calls separated by COMMIT WORK AND WAIT.
I would suggest you to split your BDC into two calls. One which does only PICK and save and then followed by COMMIT WORK AND WAIT and then followed by another which does PGI and save. This should avoid the problem altogether.
Why it is not happening in foreground mode is it does not happen so quickly as in background. Even a split second can make a difference, that is why I would want you to split up both PICK and PGI update in two separate CALL TRANSACTION VL02N
I am not sure if it would help to know where the "Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)" message is raised, as it is raised withing SAPs PGI routines, and it is mandatory that ONLY picked values are used for PGI.
I can only say that the message is given under id VL and no 609, it should be embedded somewhere in the PGI call, why don't you try to PGI without picking and put a watchpoint SY-MSGNO = 609

Instead of manually entering the qty in Picking, can it be automatically picked / put away?

Through WM it can be configured and once you activate WM there are some other settings for your WM and through that you can putaway / pick the stock completely .But without WM it is not possible to putaway / pick the stock completely.But if WM is not activated then you need to enter the picked qty and then do PGI

I hope, while creating the Billing document, you are getting the error and not during Delivery creation.
You have to check from the document flow, up to which activity you hvae completed.
If the status of the "WM Transfer order" is "Open", then you need tp confirm the Transfer order through LT12.
Then ensure that you have completed the PGI, before creating the Billing document.

EWM Opportunistic Cross Docking issue - Its put away instead of 2121 - Pick

We have checked all settings, configuration for Opportunistics cross docking - EWM (SCM) set up.
Storage type search sequence, activity type, WPT etc
But while performing following steps we are facing the issue :
1: We create PO in ERP
2: Inb delivery in ERP
3: Read Inb del in EWM - PRDI
4: Perform Follow on task - WT creation and SAVE
5: Create Sales order and outb del in ERP
6: Read the docu in SCM - EWM
5: See MOnitor - for Inbound delivery status is Put away
Outbound SHOULD HAVE BEEN 2121 (WPT) with PICK, but still Put away GR is already performed.
Its 1021 instead of 2121 WPT..
Any pointers please ?

Yes, I after I posted that message I retested and it worked as I expected. The only downside is that any GR reversals for the production orders will go to COGI due to the fact that 901 no longer allows negative stocks, but this is not that big of a deal.

Hi,
delete the batch split item, and manually entered the picking quantity and batch in the same line as item 10 (the main item). goods issue can now be posted. Go to LT03 and enter your Shipping document number this will create a TO (Transfer Order) for picking after saving the TO confirm it from LT12. Thanking you.

Put away not possible in inbound delivery

Hi,
Created a MT ZXX for STO with delivery . Inbound delivery gets created from SPED, however find that the field for 'put away' is disabled , even though it is selected for 'put away ' in 0VLP.
Request to inform the probable rwasons for the same . Is it due to that the MT in schedule line does not have the 'follow on' movement type option in OMJJ. I copied the ZXX from 601 , then how to get that option for 'follow on' movement.

Normally outbound delivery will be created in your case it is an inbound
delivery ..? correct me if am wrong..can you jst explain business process ..?
can you check item category in following path
Logistics execution - shipping - deliveries - define item category for deliveries
and check whether relevatn for putaway in enabled or not for item category.?

IS-R: Scenario to Create Delivery Order for Put Away? (MD)

For Put Away in merchandise distribution, how come a delivery order can be generated?
Since Put Away is to place the goods to shelf, there should not be a delivery order generated as follow-on document. However, in SPRO, we can configure at what point the delivery order is to be generated for Put Away e.g. After Adjustment (and then delivery order can be generated in WF30).
I would appreciate a scenario where a delivery order should be created for Put Away.
Any advise would be appreciated.

Merchandise Distribution Plan can be done by two method:-
Pull, Push
Pull is nothing but collective PO
Push method consist of putaway, cross docking, flow through..
Scenario for Put away
Head Office decide to procure Article 50 for store 1, 60 for store 2, 40 for store 3 by putaway method useing allocation WA01.
so whenever stores require merchandise, DC sends goods to stores from their stock...
In this scenario, store has to procure merchandise from DC as allocated by Head Office.

Correcting discrepancies after order confirmation and put away.

Hi, I was just wondering if there is a way to correct overages and shortages after a delivery has been received and put away. As we are very new to SAP, during a plant to plant inventory transfer, we made the mistake of confirming eight delivery orders in spite of the the fact that there were several discrepancies such as overages and shortages on several Item #'s. We have documented all the discrepancies and would now like to go into the system to make the adjustments. Is there a simple way to do this? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Have I been put on a banded profile?

On monday I did a reboot of my modem+router and when it connected to internet I have noticed
my achievable sync rate and attainable net data rate has gone down by about 10 Mbps.
I am usually able to sync at around the 48 Mbps and my maximum attainable net data rate has always
been around the 60 Mbps. Now I am only able to sync at no more than about the 42 Mbps and my
attainable net data rate is now showing no more than around the 50 Mbps.
I have been suffering from noise issues lately and so is it possible the DLM has put me on a
banded profile? If I have been put on a banded profile, will the DLM slowly give me back my
line capable speed if the issues go away?
Unfortunately I have never been able to get the further diagnostics check of the BT Wholesale
Broadband Performance Test to work since upgrading to BT Infinity and so I can`t check to
see if there is any indication I am on a banded profile from this check.
This is on a wired connection not wireless.

As you can see, there is a loss of capable sync speed on my maximum
attainable net data rate sync speed which was always around the 60
Mbps but now at around the 50 Mbps.

Negative quantity not allowed for Put Away Planned

Dear Experts,
I'm trying to activate the PDI document but the system show the error message: Negative quantity not allowed for Put Away Planned.
I was looking the document flow from the item 10 and I saw there is one task was created with quantity "1 box" and the same document was cancelled but the quantity "2 box" was cancelled. I believe because of this is happening the error.
All items from my HU is with the same problem, duplicate the quantity during canceling.
Somebody can give me advice how fix it.
I found a SAPNote but Note 1674037:Negative Put Away Planned quantity (PWP) due to "Store HUs" but I need a workaround to fix my actual PDI and finish the process.

Hi Petr,
I checked the transaction SMQ2 and I dont have anything stuck there. Then I tried to change de deliveryquantity but the field quantity isn't available to change. My PDI document already been the Goods Receipt Status "Completed". I try to reverse this document and the system show the message: Delivery is locked (Posting Not Possible). I believe its happening because the PDI isn't active.
Do you have other idea ???

Automatically split quantities on a put away.

The scenario is as follows:
We have two locations for a product '123'. One is a pick location which will hold up to 150 units of item '123' and the other is a bulk storage location.
When a put away task is created we want it to automatically show a quantity up to 150 to be put in the pick location and the balance of the delivery to be assigned to the bulk storage location.
Is this possible without manually going into the confirmation of the put away task and selecting the split quantities and then manually selecting the second location?

as far as I see, the invocation service really does not start up automatically.
However, the following code should autostart all services marked requiring autostart according to the documentation of the DefaultCacheServer.start() method, which by the way also implies that this is the expected behaviour (that autostart services are not started by reading the cache configuration, but only the start method, which is by the way called by the DefaultCacheServer application, so you need not worry about that in case of the standalone cache server JVMs).

E.g. in Weblogic:
- you can use an application server startup class if you have Coherence deployed to the server classpath.

In this case you need to have such a class (application lifecycle listener or application shutdown class) anyway, to properly shut down Coherence, otherwise you will get strange NoClassDefFoundError-s upon redeploying the application.
