Delivery created without Stock

Hi all,
I'm using Function Module SHP_VL10_DELIVERY_CREATE to create a delivery
with reference to Sales Order. Everything is working fine, with one exception:
The delivery is always created, even when the salesOrder is block without stock confirmation.
If i try to do it, with va02, menu SalesDocuemnt->Delivery the system gives the correct error, saying "No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date
" wich is correct.
Does anyone knows why the FM doesn't work like the standard?
Thanks,

  • WM-delivery created without stock in the Phusical Bin

    hi
Here my customer Requirement is Outbound Delivery should not be created if Material is not available in Physicla storage Bin.
While creating Delivery with reference to Sale order system checking the Material availability at Storage Location level. So that if stock is there in GR area
so that Delivery is getting created but TO is not created because of the material is not available in Respective Storage type.problem is for particual day say 100 deliveries are created. But only 50 are processed because of Material is not Binned.anybody suggest regarding this.so we have to stop creation of Delivery.

    Hi,
You should check what is the cause of the problem.
    - if there's no material physically there's no wonder if there's no stock in SAP in the bin - in this case your question would make no sense
    - if you have the physical stock but in SAP it is not reflected (e.g. confirmation against PrdOrd takes too long time) you may have to reorganize / improve your process to eliminate the delay or you have to allow negative stock...
    ...in my opinion...
But please tell us the reason of this problem.

  • Goods Issue against outbound delivery from blocked stock

    Dear All
I want to do goods issue against outbound delivery created without any reference from blocked stock of my storage location. Is there any way I can achieve this? I know normally SAP allows goods issue from unrestricted stock but my business scenario requires goods issue to be done from blocked stock against outbound delivery.
Please let me know any solution for this.

  • Create Outbound Delivery without Stocks

    Hello.
    Anybody with AFS experience?
When creating outbound delivery with reference to an STO, the system allows me to allocate the full quantity (60pcs), even if the available stocks is only 40pcs.
How is this possible?  My understanding, we will only be able to create the delivery for the available stocks.
    Help.

    Hi Gemma,
If there are no stock at all, then you will not be able to create delivery agianst STO. If there is partail qty available, then delivery can be created. eg. if stock is 20 kg  and in the STO if the qty is 40 kg, you will still be able to create delivery, but when stock is 0 kg, you will not be able to create delivery..........it will give an error message" An item with no delivery quantity is not permitted. Item will be deleted."
    hope this helps............

  • Create transfer order without stock

    Hi,
I have a requirement were I need to create transfer orders without stock, can we create this using the user exits (MWMTO005, MWMTO001, MWMTO002). is there anyother way of creating TO without stock by turning off ATP?
we need this for cross docking, we need a outbound TO so the inbound can be cross docked.

As I understood ur requirement u need vertual stock to make the delivery (GI) before reciving the good (GR).
Step 1. create one Stoarge Bin in 999 storage type, called as verstoack(vertual stock) As this storage are used for stock adjustment.
Step 2 Create TO from storage type 999-verstock to the in you want.
By this step -ve stock will develop in 999.
Step 3 when u do the GR, transfer this stock to 999-verstock from the recieved stoarge bins.
This is to nulify vertual; stock after receive.
This can be done on weekly basis.
Note: PGI for delivery will be done after GR only.
Please let me know if this issue is not resolved

  • Want to Delivery Without  stock moment

    Hi SAP Gurus,
Is there any way to create a delivery(PGI) without any stock moment (i am using a Z movement tye). i e stock sholud not decrese.
This I need to To update a cost account.(which is  only possible with movement type.) if I use a movement type stock get decresing. which my does not needed.
    Thanks in Advance
    Ram

    Hi Lakshmipathi,
    Thanks for the reply,
    Process is:
If A customer informs that Material A is defevtive or not working,
Wht the we do is, we deliver(order/delivery/billing) material A to the customer and a return order is created for the material for which a return is anticipated from the customer. The customer is informed of the same with a request to return the product in a stipulated time frame.
If the customer returns the product, the return delivery is booked followed by creation of a credit memo in the system. and we come to know that whether the material is under warrenty or not after the PGR (receipt),
if it is under warrenty, Cost must be booked under cost account( no revenue)
( which is only possible through at the time of PGI with a movement type), since Material already delivered to the customer, we cannot create a delivery with material movement.
if there any way to revese the inventory at the time of PGI.(issue and retun shold happen at same so there will not be any impact on stock level)
please let me know is there any other way

Kindly provide input to resolve this.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Can you tell us as to what is the issue here? What transaction are you using?
    Anyways, check below things:
    1. Check for the inputs which must be relevant for the delivery creation
    2. Check if table VETVG is updated with the STO number.
Please revert back with more inputs if problem still persists?

  • Delivery created with out stock

    Hi folks,
Sales order has been created for 'X' material, but there is 0 stock available for this material "X", ATP has been carried out and has proposed a further date, but when try to create a delivery, delivery documnet has been created even though there is 0 stock ( no stock ) for material 'X'.
How is this possible..................? actually SAP doesn't allow to create a delivery with out stock.............
    please suggest.................
    points will be rewarded................

    Hello,
The system will allow you to create a delivery even if there is not stock. But it will not allow you to create post goods issue until the stock available in the storage.
I think there are user exits to prevent system to create the delivery if stock is not available.

  • Error in creating delivery document from stock transport order

hi sd gurus plz help i m nt able to create delivery in vl10b from stock transport order me21n after giving shipping point and  po number also. can u help me out and can u tell me how to maintain copy control from stock tarnsport to delivery docu.

    Hi Debesh,
The settings for Delivery type for STO is maintained using the following path:
Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Order>Set up Stock Transport Order>Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule . Here you assign the Delivery type to Stock Transport order (with reference of Suplying Plant)
For creation of STO for delivery creation use T-code- VL04. Enter the Relevant Shipping Point and the Delivery Creation Date. Also tick mark the option Purchase order. If you already have a Purchase order enter the no.
System will show the details of the STO here by using the Main Menu > Delivery> Create Deliveries you can create the Delivery against the STO. Then by using the VL02n option you can do the Picking / PGI for the Delivery.
    Hope the above helps you.
    REWARD if it helps you!!

  • Delivery Split in Stock transfer Order

    Hello gurus,
In Stock transfer order process, Delivery has been split. In purchase order we have two materials, while creating delivery in VL10B System is splitting the deliveries and creating two delivery no. instead of one delivery. I checked everything but i could not reach out the solution. can you tell me what could be reason for this delivery split in Stock Transfer Order Process.
    Regards
    Soumendu

SAP have provided a report ZLE_ANALYZE_DELIVERY_SPLIT in note 355404.
This report tells you exactly what is causing the split by highlighting the cause in red. It does not make any change to the database on your system (i.e. no changes are made on your system). I would recommend you implement this report.
Often, I have seen the delivery time being the cause of a delivery split. So check the values of LIKP-LFUHR for each delivery. But the above report would tell you exactly.

  • Excise invoice should not get created without PGI

    Hi,
I have a scenario where the billing document is being generated by the customer without PGI after creation of outbound delivery for exports. (This is as per customer's requirement - Copy control maintained in VTFL for the same - copying requirements 11 )
This creates a situation - excise invoice can be created without PGI - which creates problems for customer. This should not happen.
Customer wants a check during the excise invoice creation - excise invoice should not get created if PGI has not been done.
Kindly advise as to how this can be done.
    Regards,
    T Saravanan

    Dear Saravanan
    Two options are there
    -  in your existing routine itself, you can specify the control in such a way that unless the preceding document is PGId
    -  apply excise user exits like J_1I7_USEREXIT_EXCISE_BEF_SAVE to achieve the requirement.
    thanks

  • Goods receipt without stock

How to do goods receipt without stock for a stock material? Is there a way to create a material document without stock posting?

in case you do a goods receipt to a third party order, it is just statistical and does not update your stock figures.

  • How to create a stock purchase order ?

    Hi,
I would like to create a stock PO to replenish stock and thus without any account information.
What Account Assignment category and Item Category do i have to select to create my stock PO ?
    Thanks for your help,
    Kind regards,
    Yann

    Hi,
For stock item, there is no need to give account assignment and item category. Just input the vendor, pur org, pur grp, company code in header screen, material number, qty, price, plant etc details and save the PO.
Then do goods receipt wrt PO (TCode: MIGO). This updates the stock in the respective plant.
Then do the LIV (TCode: MIRO)
    Hope this clarifies.
    Thanks,
    Viswanath

  • Delivery from project stock

    hello!
    i have following requirement
    - sales order -> creates a requirement to unrestricted stock
    - delivery -> creates a requirement to unrestricted stock
during delivery processing the materials are booked manually to project stock.
    - at goods issue i want to book automatically from project stock
as i do not want to create requirements for project stocks, i cannot use a matching requirement class.
can someone think of a solution?
    thanks!
    matthias

    Hi Fortain ,
I did bit of analysis to track it down and i noticed that when you run availability, system check for Checking Rule "B".  I think if we want to enable WBS element field, it should be "BQ". I am trying to figure out. But no clue.
    Let us keep trying.

  • Confirmed quantity at sales document without stock at storage

    Dear Gurus,
Im having problems with availability check, when creating a sales document with a material without stock available system confirms quantity.
Can somebody tell me where can i check in order to solve this error?
    Best regars
    J.

If there is no stock available and the system is confirming stock, then this suggests that an availability check is not being executed.
There are three places where you should check:
    > OVZ2: Ensure that "No Check" is not selected for the relevant checking Group
    > OVZG: Ensure that "Availability" is switched on for the relevant requirements class [In the sales order - go to procurement type where you see the requirement type; then in OVZH, you will see the requirements class assigned to this requirements type]
    > VOV6: Ensure that "Availability" is switched on for the relevant schedule line category
If all of these indicators is set, then an availability check is being executed.
If an availability check is being executed, then this is likely to be a RLT issue, as iindicated in one of the previous replies.
    Hope this helps.
