Delivery date and loading date is same

Hello ,
Issue decription:
The system calculating delivery=loading date , though the route is maintained for 9 days trasit days.
This problem is with only one routeA.
When i have created SO for material M123 with route "B" shipping Point 0001, the system consider transit duration of the route.But when Sales order (SO )is placed for materail M123, shipping Point 0001, and route A, system is not considering the transit duration.
Kindly let me know any config change is required with respect to route or forwarding agent.

Check for the route A what's the transit duration time has maintained.The system uses the transit time from delivery scheduling as well as other time estimates (for example, the loading time) to determine the dates by which the goods must be available for picking, packing, and loading.Finally check the factory calendar if forwarding agent facory calendar has not maintaained it will consider the shipping point calendar.

There are no Personal settings in Purchase order
for the material the data maintained as follows :
MRP2 :
Planned delivery time is 24 days
GR processing time is 5 days
Purchase info record :
Planned delivery time is 24 days
SPRO-Plant parameters
Purchase Processing time 1 day

Hi ,
System calculate the delivery date by the sumation of planned delivery time with your creation date. In the material master the planned delivery time for that plant may be zero ,.tht may be the region behind the system is showing the creation date as the delivery date.
Pls check your Material in Material Master for that plant...

Multiple delivery schedule (with same delivery date) for same PO line item

In a STO, for a PO line item say for 10 quantities. I have been receiving 3 delivery schedule with the same day with quantities say 5 3 2. I would like to know the what would be possible reasons for this.

How to Pop-up new Window and load PDF at same time

Hi
In my servlet application, when I receive request, I have to load PDF form and at same time I have to pop up new browser window with html content ( help data).
I thought of writing <script>window.open(....)</script> to outputstream before writing FDFdocument , but it fails.
I am using FDF tool kit to load PDF forms, once I set content type to "application/vnd.fdf" , I can't write any javascript to response.
Any help /ideas to do this is appreciated.

Hi Prakash,
Here is the way to solve this issue:
Make use of HTML frame, one frame (maybe with 0 height and width) pop up with a new HTML browser using javascript. Set the content type and display the pdf in another frame.
Note that one page can only set content type once, so if u have set it to application/vnd.fdf, you cannot write HTML content into same response stream.

Im currently doing a project using LabVIEW and myDAQ where i have to use the solar cell to charge the battery and turn on the load ( LED) when there is light
and once the the solar cell is unable to detect the light , the battery will power the load instead of the solar cell
i am having some problems with labview programing ( unable to work )
Does anyone has something similar that i could reference to ?

Good to see that you found the LabVIEW forum, but you have not added any more information than what you posted on the Reddit LabVIEW forum.
The people here will also need more information about what is not working, be as specific as possible. I will also repeat that you can replace the inputs with controls and the outputs to indicators so you have more control over the code to test it. Then introduce the real IO when you have the code working like you want it to.

Delivery date and shipping date

Shipment: collection of deliveries which has to be delivered if route is same.
Then, my question is whether the shipping date and delivery date is same for a particular order? Then what is the filed and table for shipping date?

Hi Sooraj,
The delivery document’s delivery date (LIKP-LFDAT) is independent of the various dates found on the shipment document to which the delivery belongs. Shipment processing will not automatically change LIKP-LFDAT.
There are several planning and execution dates on the shipment document that can be considered the “shipment date”:
Check-in
Loading start
Loading end
Shipment completion
Shipment start
Shipment end
All of these are found on the shipment header table VTTK.

How To Prevent The Modification Statistical Delivery Date In PO (Me22n)

My Issue is as follows:
While I am creating a PO (Of Type STO ->UB) when I put the Delivery Date for a particular Item in the "ITEM OVERVIEW" Screen and press Enter, the same information is copied into the "ITEM DETAIL" screen under the "DELIVERYSCHEDULE" Tab. Over there I see that the Delivery Date and the Statistical Delivery Date" are same. Now when I save the PO and then go to transaction ME22n for the same PO, if I change the Delivery Date in the "ITEM OVERVIEW" Screen, again the same change is reflected in the "DELIVERYSCHEDULE" Tab, on the hit of ENTER button.
Now what I have to do is to prevent the Statistical Delivery Date from being changed Automatically. That is when I create the PO, the value of "STATISTICAL DATE" then evaluated should remain unchanged throughout (unless changed manually). The reason I need this is because it will help the user to evaluate the performance of the Vendor.
Kindly Advise... as to whether there is a way of doing it through exits or enhancements.

Glad it worked out. As from the statistical date field help:
The system inserts the delivery date into this field in the following
cases:
o   You do not enter a statistical delivery date.
o   You change the delivery date, have not entered a statistical
    delivery date, and the PO or scheduling agreement delivery schedule
    has not yet been transmitted to the vendor.
Basically, item delivery date is copied to the statistical date if statistical date is blank (which it is at PO creation).
After creation, the statistical date is changed if the delivery date is changed and the PO has not been printed (outputted).

MRP for STO Delivery Date Issue

Dear Gurus,
We are using MRP to generate STO purchase requisition for a specific material.
We have entered planned delivery time in the receiving plant. The supplying plant is 1000 and receiving plant is 2000.
We have entered planned delivery time in plant 2000 for 10 days . MRP is run at mid night. System is generating PR . But the delivery date is same as current date.
E.G: Material A planned delivery time 10 days in plant 2000
Planning date is 20/07/2014
in PR : Delivery date is 29/7/2014
and PR release date is 19/7/2014.
The release date is appearing in the past. Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

When i create STO PR manually all the dates are appearing as per standard calculation considering the planned delivery cost.
The issue is in MRP run.

The loading date, transportation date and planned date on the STO are the same as Delivery dates.

We have created a Intra plant STO (plant to plant in the same company code). The planned delivery date is 4 days. So if I create a STO today (27th march), the delivery date is 31st march (excl Saturday and Sunday).
During delivery creation, the loading date, transportation date and planned date are also coming as 31st march. The route determination for the given shipping point and route shows 2 days for transit and 4 hours for pick pack. There is no loading time maintained for the given combination.
Can you please advice why are the dates coming the same as delivery date during delivery creation without considering the duration maintained in route determination ?

Hi,
This is a standard behavior of SAP in case of Stock Transfer PO.
If you want that the delivery date of receiving plant be transferred to supplying plant, please use BADI MD_STOCK_TRANSFER.

We need a customization for getting Requested delivery date, Material Availability date and Delivery date should be same.
Example if I keep request delivery date as 12/12/2012, system should consider same dates for MAD and Delivery and confirm the requested quantity.

What you are going to achieve by this? Hope you know the concept of MAD and confirmed quantity fields. Let us assume, if stock is not there for a material for which sale order is created, can you let me know, you want the system still to confirm the quantity? You can post the goods issue only if system confirms the quantity in schedule line which is possible, only if stock is made available. If client asks something which is not possible in SAP, think in a logical way how SAP works and convince them accordingly.

Delivery date and goods issue date anomaly

I am seeing issue in client site where when an order is entered for customer with a delivery date in December 2010 the goods issue date and loading are all correct. Soon as I put a delivery date after Jan 6, 2011 all the dates become the same. For example I enter Jan 29, 2011 as delivery all the goods issue, loading etc become Jan 29, 2011. Is there some config issue somewhere causing this issue.

this is all happening because
when you entered the customer and material in sales order the system automatically prompts the delivery date of the material.
because in SPRO there is a setting called - DELIVERY SCHEDULING AND TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULING. with the help of factory calendar or shipping point calendar.
in the same process it has shown these dates and these dates might be the tentative because material may not be available at that time & as soon as you changed the delivery date in the system manually again system will do RE ATP and would have given confirmed date as 14.01.2001 & basing on the confirmed date every date follows.
this is standard behaviour of the system.

in cash sales process or normal OR also when i create sales order monday its work fine system take todays (current date) as delivery date and i can do delivery on same date
but if i create sales order on saturday system take coming monday as delivery date and give goods confirmation on monday date but iif i change manually system allow me to change the date for saturday and i can do delivery but i want it system should take delivery date as saturday (same date only )
because in my client there is no holiday all 365 as working day
in VOV8 its blank no lead time
factory calendor and logistic i define as all 7 days as working day
and sales org and plant i assign calendor
Please guide me where i miss and how can i solve this issue

Check "OVLY" and "OVLZ" and If the sceduling is active for he shipping point /sales document type. Check "OVXD" and see If the Loading time/ Pick/pack time is determined from it. If they are getting determined from shipping point check the shipping point calender in "SCAL" .If it has saturday and sunday as holidays ,then you may have to change them. And check If the customer has goods recieving hours assigned to him (In customer master unloading point). If he has only 5 working days and If he accepts only goods at 8 am in the morining then system would propose like this.Kindly please let me know If you need any more Information on this.

Load a sales order with delivery date in the past

Hi,
We want to load in the system a sales order with delivery date in the past, and maintain the schedule delivery date in the past. To do that, in the customizing Sales And Distribution / Basic Functions / Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling / Define Scheduling By Sales Document Type, I selected the flag Blackwards. But the problem is that the rest of the dates in the scredule line: goods issue date, loading date, material avail.date and transportation Plan Date, are in blank and you cannot enter any data because the system deletes it.
How can I have these dates informed with dates in the past?

You can control this using the "Message Control" in the SAP IMG.
Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Message Control>Influence Message Control
Using this you convert Error to Warning or even swith off this message.
