    Hi  ,
When i am trying to create a PO the following error is received if we put delivery date of 2010.
The message is "Deliv. date outside period covered by factory calendar 7A '  message no ME078".

  • Hard Error 'Preferred Delivery date can't be kept"

Managers are having to change the required on date, because the leadtime coming from a catalog, is being added to the date the shopping cart is created.  If the manager does not approve the car the same day. The system forces a change to the required on date before allowing manager approval.  Managers don't like it.  Any solutions?

    Hi Michael,
You can change the error message to warning and then system will allow the manager to approve the  cart  even if the  preferred delivery date is in past.
change the message from E to W  through the path.
srm server -> cross application setting -> message control -> influence message control.

  • Delivery Date on Sale Order

    Hi All,
In Sale Order document, In some cases the delivery date may be 2-3 yrs from the order date. So when Iam trying to give the same in due date, its showing an error message saying that
"Date deviates from the permissable range [Sales Order-DUe Date ][Message 173-11]"
can any one tell me the solution..
    Thanks & Regards,
    Chakrapani

    Chakrapani,
Couple of things you would need to do to fix this..
First, Define the Posting Periods for the next 2-3 years so that those dates can be used in the Due Date.
Second, Extend the Date Range for the DocDueDate and Tax Date fields...
All documents have 3 dates DocDate, DocDueDate, TaxDate. The date ranges for these dates are taken from the Active Posting period definition.
Open Administration > System Initialization > General Settings > Posting Periods
Click on the Yellow link arrow next to the current posting period and check the Due Date From and To Range and expand the To date to cover 31.12.2010 or what ever range you need

    Due Date From

  • To Check the Delivery date

    Hi,
While creating a  sales order, if delivery date is more than 5 days, a pop up should appear stating- if the sales order can be processed further. If yes the sales order is saved else the transaction is cancelled.
Once the sales order is saved, it should navigate to the report screen,
& display the list of sales orderu2019s for the past 6 months for the particular customer
Kindly Provide me information how to do it ?
Is there any Standard BADI / User Exit available ?
    Thanks & Regards
    Vel

You can maintain the Logic if VBAK-AUDAT < 5 days with VBEP-EDATU ,then it will show an error and the same can be maintained in the User Exit -userexit_save_document.

  • Delivery date in past in scheduling agreement

    Hi
In ME38 , when I try to  change delivery schedule for a line item   from 05/07/2008 to 02/08/2008 , system is  giving below error .
*Delivery date is in past *
I am ignored this message  and pressed enter  and saved the scheduling agreement .
Just I need to know , does this error has any ramification  in any way .?
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
In SAP the delivery date is not taken in Past,so it is showing you warning/error message.
It is not advisable to have delivery date in past. This is inturn cause problem when you going forward & want to evaluate  vendor on delivery performance.

  • How to list a material in a plant for the specified delivery date

    Hi experts,
I am quite new in the area .I have now a problem with PO.
At the item level of my PO, the plant will not be extracted automatically. Is this normal?
And after I entered the plant manually and the error message shows up:
""the material xx not listed in plant".
To be more specific, "Material xxx is not listed in plant xxx for the specified delivery date".
I have checked the material master data and found this material has been extended for this plant.
How can I fix this problem?
    Best regards,
    Fan

    Hi,
At the item level of my PO, the plant will not be extracted automatically. Is this normal?
Yes this is normal, however you can set a plant to be proposed by the system. To do this in the purchase order, click the button Personal setting, which you can find at the top right hand side. The system will open a personal settings window. In the default values tab, under PO item tab, you can enter the default plant value and other data. Save the data. Then whenever you create a new purchase order, the system will populate these default values.
""the material xx not listed in plant"
Check whether the material master -purchasing view has been activated or not.

  • How to calculate delivery date

    Hello,
I'm trying to use a formatted search in a Sales Order to calculate the delivery date per row.
I found the following that could be my answer, but not sure how to proceed:
    DATEADD (datepart, number, date)
Based on the item information on tab 'Planning' field Lead Time (OITM.LeadTime) I want to calculate the document date plus the Lead Time (or should I create a UDF?).
I did created the following query:
    DATEADD(day, $[OITM.LeadTime], $[$10.0.DATE])
When running the query I get the following:
    DATEADD(day, N'', CONVERT(DATETIME, '20080325', 112))
As you can see it didn't fill the 'number' with the leadtime information (which is 3 in my case).
And I receive the following error:
1). [Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server] Incorrect syntax near 'day'. 2).[Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server] Statement 'User-Defined Values'(CSHS) (s) could not be prepared.
    How can I my result?
    Regards,
    Petronella

    This seems to work.
SELECT DATEADD(day, (SELECT LeadTime FROM OITM WHERE ItemCode = $[$38.1.0]), $[$10.0.DATE])

  • Load a sales order with delivery date in the past

    Hi,
We want to load in the system a sales order with delivery date in the past, and maintain the schedule delivery date in the past. To do that, in the customizing Sales And Distribution / Basic Functions / Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling / Define Scheduling By Sales Document Type, I selected the flag Blackwards. But the problem is that the rest of the dates in the scredule line: goods issue date, loading date, material avail.date and transportation Plan Date, are in blank and you cannot enter any data because the system deletes it.
How can I have these dates informed with dates in the past?
    Thanks in advance,

You can control this using the "Message Control" in the SAP IMG.
    Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Message Control>Influence Message Control
Using this you convert Error to Warning or even swith off this message.
Please refer this thread for complete steps:
Re: How to change an error message to a warning message in SRM
Note: you need to suppress the messages relevant to your case here.

  • Schedule Line Item 100001 delivery date is missing

    Hello Sirs,
After created a sales order in ECC and transferred to TM via XI, the queue remains with STOP status. Entering in transaction /SAPPO/PPO2 I’m facing the error “Schedule Line Item 100001 delivery date is missing”. The delivery date is filled in ECC side.
Is there something that I need to check in TM regarding delivery date?
    Thanks.

Please try to edit the PO[Change date] and process it again. This issue happens when we use a conversion program to create PO instead of creating it from UI.
