Delivery date in ME21n??

Hi all,
While reading the help.sap.com for me21n, i have understood that
Delivery date
You can either enter the desired delivery date or leave the field empty. If the field is empty, the system determines the delivery date from the current date plus the planned delivery time for the material.
My Question is about bold part. I debug the standard ME21n and understood that this delivery date is determine in following order.
1 if RFQ is maintain then planned delivery days will be pick from RFQ and added to current date
2 if PIR is maintain then planned delivery days will be pick from PIR and added to current date
3 if PR is maintain then planned delivery days will be pick from PR and added to current date
4 if planned delivery days are maintain at plant level in material master.
Now, this above rules are in above order under if and else if condition. But is it possible to control from
IMG config, that i change this rule , rather 4th point should be checked first.
I know this is possible from user exit, but that would be last option. Please suggest.

No it is not possible through the config, but the PIR delivery date is normally reflect form the material master only
so you can use the PIR plan deli time
but if oyu have diff than use user exit.

  • Fast change for statistical delivery date in me21n

    hi
need fast change for statistical delivery date in me21n
in me21n when i enter on to fast change screen i doesn't find statistical delivery date
can anyone tell me the process
    thanks

    Dear Anudeep,
You cannot change this via "Fast Change".
Please see the usage of this field.
Calculation of the delivery time is an element in the determination of a vendor's adherence to delivery dates (that is, the vendor's delivery timeliness, or on-time delivery performance) in MM Vendor Evaluation.
If it becomes known that the vendor can only deliver ordered goods some days later than originally stipulated, for instance, you can change the delivery date accordingly for materials planning and control purposes. However, the statistics-relevant delivery
    date remains unchanged.
As a result, the vendor's "on-time delivery performance" score worsens. At the same time, it is ensured that materials planning and control works on the basis of the right date.

  • Set Dynamic Default Delivery Date in ME21n

    Hi!
Under personal settings in ME21n, it is possible set a default delivery date. However, as I see it one can only set a fixed date like 2011-08.-12, which would quite useless in a couple of weeks. Is there any way to set this date dynamically as it is possible in normal selection variants.
I am grateful for all input.

yes this field is pretty useless, except for hundreds of items within one PO.
usually delivery dates are defined by the requisitioners  and not by a default value of a buyer.

    Hi
Try implementing BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST use PROCESS_ITEM.
data : ls_mepoitem type mepoitem. "Purchase Order
data :ls_header type ref to if_purchase_order_mm,
    ls_data_header type mepoheader.
    ls_header = im_item->get_header( ).
      ls_data_header = ls_header->get_data( ).
    ls_mepoitem = im_item->get_data( ).
      ls_mepoitem-eindt = ls_data_header-zeindt.
    im_item->set_data( ls_mepoitem )

  • Stat. Delivery Date SLFDT not updated in ME21N

    Hello.
We have updated SAP from 4.6C to ECC 6.0 and now SLFDT is not filled when creating PO (ME21N).
Not first time and not when delivery date is changed (and not printed).
Does anyone have an idea on where to look/debug? Where in the code is this field updated?
Could there be a userexit/BADI that stop this field to be updated?

  • Delivery date not changed in ME22n but only in ME21n.

    Hi all,
I have an issue with the PO transaction.
In ME21n,if I change the shipping instructions under the delivery tab,via an enhancement the planned delivery time (no of days) changes and hence the delivery date also.
However this behaviour is not obeserved when changin a PO but only when creating a PO.
CAN anyone direct me how do I debug this issue?
AS I mentioned we have done a custom develpment via BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST to change the planned delvery time when shipping instructions are chnaged but this develoment doesnt affect the delivert date.

    Hi
Did you check if in change mode whether your enhancement is actually triggering or not..? Please share the method which you are using along with sample code as an attachment

  • Passing delivery date from line item in ME21N to VOFM

    Hi to all,
I need to modify pricing on the purchase order (ME21N), so that the pricing condition PB00 would use the delivery date (EEIND) from the line item instead of the document date.
Working with the functional analyst, we decided to create a condition value through transaction VOFM (we created 600). I found the which date to override (komk-prsdt). My problem is that I can't find the line item delivery date. I found structure KOMP, which seems to have other line item info, but not delivery date. I have gone through every other condition out there, but if they use L/I info, they get it from KOMP. I can't find the delivery date anywhere. I'm running in 'debug' with a specific date so I could tell if I found it.
Can someone tell me how to pass EEIND to the routine, or find where it is? Thanks in advance.

    thanks

    Hello Experts, please a consultant
It is possible configure in FM or MM for the The budget may be committed by the delivery date of the purchase order and not the date of the document?
Greetings and thanks for the suggestions
    Hello experts.

    Hi,
Why not? You can have these settings in OF39. Just be aware, that you cannot use PBET profile if you want to set FM data on the basis of delivery date.

  • Delivery date in STO b/w sloc

    Hi All,
Need your help in understanding the delivery date prposed by SAP in ME21N for document type UB and stock transfer between sloc to sloc with delivery for a plant.
Current stock in MMBE in issuing sloc is 34
Also checked the stock requirement list and the requirement is 2 pc as of now.
    Data from config.
1 Shipping point- Pick pack time / load time --route dependent
    2. Pick pack time/load time is 0 in route
    3. Transportation lead time is 0
    4. Transit time is 1 day
    5. Planned delivery time is 3 days
    6. GR processing time is 1 day.
PO creation date is 5 april 2011
As per the concept I know the below calculation should happen to find out the delivery date.
Assumption: Commited date = material availability date
material avalibility date(5 april 2011 should come but i dont know how 6 april is coming) + transprotation lead time (0 day) + loading time (0)+ good issue(5 april)+ transit time(1 day) + Planned delivery time (3 days)
Delivery date should come as = 9 april but in system its coming as 8 april
some checking rule is also assigned to material in mrp3 view

    Hi,
The delivery date is the date on which we receive goods. The process of delivery date determination is in the moment you enter a material number and hit enter, SAP moves the current date into the delivery date, and depending on planned delivery time of material master it add those days to the current date. If the data entered is sufficient to determine already the info record, then it takes the planned delivery time from there into consideration. Thanking you.

    hi ,
    i have  implemented BAdi  me_process_po_cust
    for changing Delivery date   .
    method if_ex_me_process_po_cust~process_item .
    data : eeind_dt type eket-eindt ,
             t_aplfz type eine-aplfz ,
             delivery_dt(10) type c.
      ls_item = im_item->get_data( ) .
    if sy-tcode = 'ME21N' .
select single aplfz into t_aplfz  from eine

        if sy-subrc = 0 .
if t_aplfz is  not initial  .

            concatenate  eeind_dt6(2) eeind_dt4(2)  eeind_dt+0(4) into delivery_dt .
          endif.
        endif.
        ls_item-eeind = delivery_dt .
        call method im_item->set_data

  • How to Restrict Single Delivery Date for PO with Multiple Line Items

    Dear Experts,
How to Restrict Single Delivery Date for PO with Multiple Line Items.
System needs to through Error Message if User Inputs Different Delivery Dates for PO with Multiple Line Items in ME21N Tcode.
Can we achive this by Some Enhancement in SAP or Not ???
If so how to do it.
    Any Inputs is highly appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Selvakumar. M

    Hi Selvakumar,
we can resrict the PO to have a single delivery date in all the line items by means of giving a error message or overwiting the delivery date keyed/determined in the line item.
You can use the BADI -> ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. In which you need to implement the method PROCESS_SCHEDULE.
(for technical aid - This method will be called for each and every PO line item, From the imporing parameter im_schedule we can get all the details of current PO line, even we can change the data in the current PO line. )

    Madhu.

  • Delivery date from Requisition to Purchase Order

    Hi,
let's suppose to have a material code and its inforecord.
I create the Purchase Order Requisition and I put a delivery date. When I create the Purchase Order (ME21N) moving the POR into the basket, the delivery date I find in the PO is the one indicated in the POR. I would like that the delivery date I find in the PO will be calculated based on the "delivery time" indicated in the inforecord. For example, in the POR the delivery date is 15th May, today is 11st May, I'm creating the PO and I have 15 days of delivery time in the inforecord. I want that the delivery date in the PO will be 26 May (11+26). Now, if I create the PO, the delivery day will be 15th May...
How can I set up the system to do this?
Is there a set up that I have to do into the inforecord, maybe?
    Thanks,
    FT

I you create the PR manually, then you manual entries have precedence over system defaults. Maybe you can control it with a user exit.
if you create PRs is with the MRP run, then SAP takes the delivery date from the material master.
if you maintain source list and indicate it as MRP relevant, then SAP can find the info record and can propose the delivery date based on the info record.

  • Delivery date in Purchase Order

    Hi All,
The production rplmnt purchase order is raised manually using ME21N. Could you please let me know how delivery date gets calculated and display in item overview section of purchase order?
    please treat this as urgent.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Go to ME13 transaction code and enter the following fields Vendor, Purchasing Organization, Material and Plant ( The same what you have entered in the Purchase Order )
and goto the Purchasing Org data 1 tab and in that particular screen, you might have entered values in the Pl. Deli time.

  • Get Delivery date(EKET-EINDT) in MM Pricing routine(group condition)

    Hi All,
I have created an MM pricing routine RV65A092 in VOFM. So when creating PO(ME21n), this routine will trigger..
Now the problem is I need EKET-EINDT for grouping condition. It was mentioned to call program SAPLMEPO and get EKET data.
Please help me how to get delivery date in that routine  which is filled in Item level during PO creation
    Thanks
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
For SD you have the SAP Note 531835 - Using field PSTYV in the condition access. For MM is simmilar, although you must use the enahncements. Instead use the userexits that note says, use the enhancement LMEKO001 (EXIT_SAPLMEKO_001) to populate fields ZZ in KOMK and LMEKO002 to populate KOMP.
    I hope this helps you
    Regards
    Eduardo
