  • Scheduling problem with delivery date in purch.req and requirement date

    Dear all,
I have the problem, that the calculated delivery date in the purchase requisition does not correspond with the requiement date of the production or planned order.
I would like to use planned delivery times in the material master.
    Example:
    Planned delivery time: 20 days
    Todays date 01.10
    Case 1)
Requiement date of planned order 10.10
    Case 2)
Requiement date of planned order 20.09
This situation can happen in our envirnoment, as the engineering process still continues after start of production. In this case I would like to have the following result:
    Case 1)
Delivery date is 10.10 minus the goods receipt time
    Case 2)
Delivery date is day of MRP or one or two days more
I made the setting that dates in the past are not allowed. This solves my first smal problem. I tried to set the scheduling margin key but these settings do not help me, as they are relevant for all materials. I need of course individual planned delivery dates per material.
So, I want to change the standart MRP procedure that in the case of the "wished requirement date" not the calculated date is beeing taken, but the "wished date". Usually you receive an exeption for this case and you would need t solve this manually. But this we dont want to do.
Can s.o. please help me? Thank you all very much, I really dont know what to do in this case.
    With best regards,
    Bjoern

The question cannot be answerd by SAP standart as I see. We will go through a workaround.

  • Purchase requisition delivery date before the requested/created date

    Dear Experts,
We are getting an issue that Purchase requisitions created by APO are having Delivery Date one day before of requesed Date.
Eg Purchase requistion created on 20.02.2015 and having delievery date on 19.02.2015.
I have checked contract, Purchase info record Tlane all master data settings are ok.
Planned Delievery Time maintained in the info record is 0 and GRPT time is 1 day.
Same vendor, contract, PIR exists for 2 material, But we are facing issue only for one material.
It is an urgent issue , if anyone is having any idea , suggestions please reply to me if any information required will update here.

    Hi Mariano,
    Thanks for your Reply !!
GRPT and  PDT in ECC maintained as 1 day In material master.
In Purchase Info record PDT is maintained as 0 days and GRPT is 1.
I also checked tlane it is coming as 1 day and GRPT is 0 days.
So which i analysed from some other eg of materials pur req is considering the settings of which is maintained in Tlane, so giving 1 day back date in Pur Req.
But it solved my previous question but arises one more question that tlane we have not mannually maintained, it always created on the basis of contract in our scenario, so how the PDT=1 day come inside tlane?

  • To make the "req.delivery date" field non-mandatory in VA01 Transaction

    Hi All,
I want to make "req. delivery date"(RV45A-KETDAT) field non mandatory in VA01 transaction.
I have already checked on screen 4440 .This field is not mentioned as required field.
Please help me to find where can i make this field non-mandatory.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Dipali.

    Hi,
this is a required field, as far as the standard SAP code goes: everytime this field is touched the following function is executed in programme FV45EF0V_VBEP-EDATU_EINGEBEN:
        call function 'PERIOD_AND_DATE_CONVERT_INPUT'
          exporting
            external_date     = rv45a-etdat
            external_period   = rv45a-prgbz
          importing
            internal_date     = vbep-edatu
            internal_period   = vbep-prgrs
            ev_date_in_past   = lv_date_in_past
            ev_period_in_past = lv_period_in_past
          exceptions
            no_data           = 1
            period_invalid    = 2
            date_invalid      = 3.
        case sy-subrc.
          when 1.
set cursor field 'RV45A-PRGBZ' line sy-stepl.

            message e394.
The only way to avoid this is create an implicit enhancement at the beginning of this form, copy the exisitng code in there, delete the message after WHEN 1. and put RETURN at the end of the enhancement. But this would be HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED, because I am positive you cause a lot of misery later on in the process: this field is mandatory for a reason!

    Hi,
    Check these links..
the Requested delivery date is determined based on the lead time specified in the definition fo the sales document type in VOV8.

Requested delivery date not the Current Date?
Sales Order - Requested Delivey Date

  • In quotation Req delivery date

In quotation Req delivery date coming today is default.
Earlier it was mandatory vov8 I put tick mark.
    Then system taking today default.
My client does not that like that.
He is asking no default date and it should option entire.
If they need they will enter other wise it should empty.
    No default date.
How can we control this one.

    Hi
In VOV8 for quotation Deselect the propose delivery date. This Indicates whether the system automatically proposes the current date as the delivery date.

  • Req. Delivery date - IDOC to Sales order

    Hello,
A sales order is created from IDOC. If customer sends the requested delivery date as 05/27/2009 (IDOC) system has automatically back the date to 05/24/2009 which should be the customer requested delivery date and to be displayed on the sales order.
3 days of lead time to back the date of the customer's requested delivery date. Is this functionality can be done through configuration settings or does this require ABAP coding?
    Example -1
05/27/2009 (Customer's req. delivery date through IDOC)                      05/24/2009  (Req. delivery date to be displayed on the sales order)
    Example -2
06/10/2009 (Customer's req. delivery date through IDOC)                      06/07/2009  (Req. delivery date to be displayed on the sales order)
PS: This logic is applicable for only few customers who has specific shipping conditions (01)
    Thanks.

    Hello Zuzana,
    Thanks for the response.
We are not using middleware.  Inbound IDOCs we process are:
    Message type: ORDERS
    FM: IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS
    Process code: ORDE
Is there any scope for configuration settings? I guess No but still checking with you.
PS: Appreciate if you could give the correct USER EXIT.
    Thanks.

  • Req. delivery date and plan order finish date relationship

    Dear Experts,
I have a question on setting the req. delivery date and plan order finish date relationship. Now, I want the plan order finish date is one day before the req. delivery date, is it possible to set it in configuration? Please advised! Many thanks!
    Regards,
    Matt Yim

    Matt,
Please use a schedule margin key(SMK) in the material master MPR2 view which has float after production defined as 1day.
If there are no SMK with that defination then you can define you own in customisation and assign the same in the material master. (SPRO--->Production ->MRP->Planning ->Scheduling and Capacity Parameters->Define Floats).

  • Req. delivery date and Delivery date should be same in a sales order

    Hi experts,
We need a customization for getting Requested delivery date, Material Availability date and Delivery date should be same.
Example if I keep request delivery date as 12/12/2012, system should consider same dates for MAD and Delivery and confirm the requested quantity.
    How to achieve this customization..
    Thanks,
    Bala.

system should consider same dates for MAD and Delivery and confirm the requested quantity
What you are going to achieve by this?  Hope you know the concept of MAD and confirmed quantity fields.  Let us assume, if stock is not there for a material for which sale order is created, can you let me know, you want the system still to confirm the quantity? You can post the goods issue only if system confirms the quantity in schedule line which is possible, only if stock is made available.  If client asks something which is not possible in SAP, think in a logical way how SAP works and convince them accordingly.

  • Req Delivery Date

    Hello SAP Gurus,
Well i am making the Sales order the system is not giving me the todays date i mean the system it giving one day further. means that today is 27 but in required delivery date is 28...so wht the reason for this? even though there is no lead time in sales document type or theres no pick/pack aur route determination time.....then the system should give the todays.....please let me know why the system is doin this?
    Regards,
    Mohsin

    Hi mahsin,
Try to check out whether you have maintained Lead time in days as 1 in VOV8 of the Document type TA/OR.
If you have niot maintained that then goto
    IMG-SALES & DISTRIBUTION-BASIC FUNCTIONS-DELIVERY SCHEDULING AND TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULING-DEFINE SCHEDULING BY SHIPPING POINT.
In this you select your Shipping Point and click on Details and check whether you have maintained Loading time w days as 1 and Pick/Pack time w days as 1.
I think may be because of this settings you are getting this problem.
    Raward if helpful.

  • ME51N- Purchase req- default for delivery date

I am running into issue where the delivery date field is populating a default date- today's date. I want make this field mandatory so the requisitioner has to complete this field.
I would like to delete this default - where is the config for it
    need help
    Thanks
    Raj

    Hello Raj,
As previously said, the delivery date is calculated by the system based on the material master / inforecord data (i.e. planned delivery period, GR processing time)
    Try this, create default purchasing
SPRO --> Mat management --> Purchasing --> Environment data > Define Default Values for Buyers> Settings for Default Values--> on "source determination check" tab uncheck "Check delivery date in source determination process"
Assign this value to the user with EVO parameter.
    Hope this helps.

  • Make to Order strategy 50 creating Pur.req in Past against Sales order

    Hello friends
We are planning to use strategy 50(MTO) scenario. The material settings for finished product is as below in material master
    Procurement-F External
    Planned delivery time 20
    GR processing time 10.
Sales order created with requested delivery date of 10-Nov-2011.When the MRP is executed it creates a Pur Req with delivery date in past ie on 05/Nov/2011.
My requirment is that the system should consider the planned dlvy time+GR processing time=30 days and the pur req should be created with a delivery date of 10-Dec-2011(ie 30 days from 10-Nov-2011).
What settings needs to be checked the achieve the above result.
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks
    Harrit

    Dear
In Material Master Please Check the Schedule Margin Key
And The repleshment lead Time  and also check the Inhouse production
i mean to say is Maintain Floats in the Schedule Margin Key
Go to SPRO >>>Production>>>>Material Requiremet planning >>>>Planning >>>Define Floats
there u can Adjust Floats Accordingt to ur Requirement
    With regards

  • Unable to change requested delivery date in the sales order at item level.

The issue is when I create order with one material (linked to network and project is created automatically in the background), I am able to change (in change mode) req delivery date for an item, but when I create order with 2 materials (linked to network and project is created automatically in the background), I can not change (in change mode) the req delivery date of any item. Req delivery date is then copied from the header req delivery date.
Is this a standard SAP functionality or a defect?

Req del date is the date requested by customer and  can be changed at item level. Probably the confirmed date in the schedule line is derived from the network scheduling after ATP check. (ATP check is not activated in this case)
I am able to change the req del date at item level if there is only one item (Linked to network) and not when there are two line items (Both are linked to 2 diff networks belonging to same project)
I tried to change the date in the network, scheduled and saved but that didnt change the date in the sales order. On the contrary, if I run ATP check, netowrk dates get back to original dates derived from sales order.

  • Two Delivery dates in Sale Order against one item

    Dear All
I need two delivery dates in sale order. one is default at the time of creation sale order. second i need actual delivery date which will be confirmed by production planning department after analysis the order whether material can be ready on that delivery date or it need to change. Actual delivery date may vary from original delivery date and both need to preserve in system. kindly provide solution. best regards.
    Manjit

You need to select the Availability & Transfer of Req. check box in Schedule Line Configuration. It will transfer the req. to PP.So while creating the sale order , schedule Lines will be confirmed as per the Available Stock.
System will give you the Default Delivery Date as the Date added after Lead Time in days in the Configuration.Else system will give the Current Date.
    Best regards,
    Ankur

  • How to adjust the delivery date in PR generated by MRP

    Hi.
We use MRP to generate PRs. The PRs are generated and the delivery date is also being calculated based on PR processing time + planned del. time + GR process.time.
However my requirement is that the delivery date in the PR should be always Tuesday for the week we need the parts.
E.G. Say MRP run has created a PR with delivery date as 28.02.2008, then system should automatically shift that date to Tuesday's date 26.02.2008 for that week.
IF PR delivery date as per MRP is say 03.03.2008 (Monday), then system should automatically make it to Tuesday's date 04.03.2008.
so in short , each and every PR generated for any vendor , the delivery date should be always the tuesday's date in front of the week we need the parts.
So is there any standard setting or functionality available in SAP to achieve the same.?
IF not, then is there any user exit to achive the same.?
    Pls help.
    Thanks and regards

Can you please help me by informaing how can I run Time phased planning.
My requirement is that MRP Run should give me the PRs with delivery date as Tuesday. Say planned del.time is 28 days . Pur.proc.time is 2 days and GR procee.time is 1 day.
I want to run MRP every week. and. How can I set up period and what to set.?
    Questions:
    1) Calculation rule: Weekly with 'perid begins on (2)  Tuesday?
    2) Minimum period: 1 day. Is it right?
    3) Valid from and valid to date: I am specifying as per my requirement: (how much it should be?)
    4) How to run MD03.
Any general guideline on how timephased planning woks?
Like we need to run every week on spcified day , it generates requirement for the weeks in question only , or etc etc. .
I have never used timephased planning. So can you please help me.
    Thanks
    Bharat
