Delivery date in STO b/w sloc

Hi All,
Need your help in understanding the delivery date prposed by SAP in ME21N for document type UB and stock transfer between sloc to sloc with delivery for a plant.
Current stock in MMBE in issuing sloc is 34
Also checked the stock requirement list and the requirement is 2 pc as of now.
Data from config.
1 Shipping point- Pick pack time / load time --route dependent
2. Pick pack time/load time is 0 in route
3. Transportation lead time is 0
4. Transit time is 1 day
5. Planned delivery time is 3 days
6. GR processing time is 1 day.
PO creation date is 5 april 2011
As per the concept I know the below calculation should happen to find out the delivery date.
Assumption: Commited date = material availability date
material avalibility date(5 april 2011 should come but i dont know how 6 april is coming) + transprotation lead time (0 day) + loading time (0)+ good issue(5 april)+ transit time(1 day) + Planned delivery time (3 days)
Delivery date should come as = 9 april but in system its coming as 8 april
some checking rule is also assigned to material in mrp3 view

Hi,
The delivery date is the date on which we receive goods. The process of delivery date determination is in the moment you enter a material number and hit enter, SAP moves the current date into the delivery date, and depending on planned delivery time of material master it add those days to the current date. If the data entered is sufficient to determine already the info record, then it takes the planned delivery time from there into consideration. Thanking you.

  • Delivery Date in STO ( UB) & PO (NB)

Hi, I have a question, delivery date in STO (UB documnet type) or PO ( Doc type NB) what it refer? ( item-->delivery date)
I mean the date on which we are going to receive the goods or the date on which either vendor or supplying plant going to transafer or ship the goods?
Since we are able to create outbound delivery in STO using VL10b transaction only if the delivery date in PO is greater than or equal to VL10b delivery date.
Also let me know, how the delivery date will be determined in PO/STO automatically. when i enter the material , plant and qty automatically delivery date is getting determined?

  • Program to update Delivery dates of STO based on Material availability

    Hi,
We have requireement in which, we need to material availability check for the materials on daily basis. This is only for Stock Trasnfer orders.
Suppose there is STO ( Stock Transfer Order) 1 that has been created for material M1 for qty 20. The scheduled delivery date for the material is tomorrow. Now I create another STO 2 today for the same material and same quantity. The scheduled delivery date that was proposed was 7 days from today.
Some one deletes the STO 1. Now Material M1 with qty 20 is avaiable to use. I then go in the system, open STO 2 in change mode. Select the line item and click on Material availability check. When I do this, the new delivery dates are proposed.
    This is standard sap functionality.
We have required to do this programmatically. Is there any standard SAP program which will check all the STO's by there creation date and do the material avaibility check automatically and re-set STO dates.
    Regards,
    Shahu

Instead of all that, you could just use stock transport scheduling agreements.  MRP can update those automatically during its processing.

  • Planned order creation via MRP depends, If we change Delivery date in STO

    Hi,
Planned order  creation via MRP depends, If we change Delivery date in Stock transfer Order.
I created STO with delivery date as 31.1.2012 and when i checked MD04, i can see Planned order created on 27.2.2012 with the same above STO quantity .
Now when i changed the delivery date as 30.1.2012 and runned MD03, and then checkd MD04, planned order disappeared.
Why Planned order got created when STO delivery date was 31.1.2012 and when I changed the delivery date in PO, planned order disappeared.
    MRP profile details :
    Plnd delivery time   1
    GR processing time   1
    Planning time fence  38
    Tot. repl. lead time 38
Can you please let me know why system is beaving in this manner?
    Regards
    Utsav

    Hi,
Normally , MRP runs based upon the requirements. If your STO is created for a date , system checks through the availabiloty check wheather there exists any stock for that date to get deliverred in the supply plant .If there exists for that date the stock , planned order will not be created. If no stock available then a planned order will be created in MRP.
cHECK the availability check parameters assigned to material master in supply plant.

  • Different Delivery Dates in STO's

    Hi All,
At present in our system if the delivery dates is different in STO (Stock Transfer Order) it will create different Outbound Deliveries, In Practical Snenario, We are sending the stock from One Warehouse to One Store with different delivery dates,Our question is If We have created multiple STO's from One Warehouse to One Store with different delivery dates It needs to create only one outbound deliveryfor all multiple STO's.
kindly suggest how to create only one outbound deliveries for multiple STO's as We have same Vehicle for carrying the multiple STO's. from Warehouse to Store.
Note :- We are using the T-code VL10Fand VL10B for creating the outbound delivery against the STO'S.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
Go to customizing VTLA (copy control for deliveries). Then find at Header level the Source/Target that corresponds to your Replenishment Delivery.
And then go to Header Data transfer routine (I have routine 301 maybe yours is other) and put a Break Point in it. Then in VL10B select two STO's with different dates you would like to have their deliveries COMBINED and process with button "Background". The debugger should stop at your breakpoint.
manually replace LIKP-LFDAT for a common date (for example today) when debugging routine and see what happens.
This should result in a combined delivery with the date you specified in debugger

  • Statistical delivery date on STO

    Hi,
Can any one tell me the significance of a Statistical Delivery date on an STO. I can understand that we can measure the Vendor performance when it is relavant to PO but I am trying to understand the significance w.r.t. STO.
    Regds

A STO is notthing else than a PO, it uses the the same maintenance transactions, hence it has the same fields, and some companies even want to evaluate their sister companies (because internal business is often done subordinate to business with  external customers, and may cause a lot trouble )

  • Delivery dates in STO

    Hi All,
Please let me know how the delivery dates are getting calculated in STO while creating a STO in the shipping tab. What all parameters are considered while calculating the delivery date.
    Regards,
    Ashwin

    Hi,
During the STO po creation process  system checks the avalability of the material in the supplying plant.in the check it will consider the possible incoming of materias like PO, ORDER etc in the supplying plant abd decides about the possible availability date in the supply plant.
You would have observed a warning message while PO creation saying that 'material not available or psrtially available etc.
This date is the base for the delivery by the supplying plant.Based upon this date system calculates when to deliver , transport, pack , etc in the supplying plant.
please check the availabllity check at OMGN t code.
Ofcourse system will take the deliverey date as per your wish with a warning message during creation of PO but may not deliverer at VL10G/B if there is no stock.

  • Doubts in statistic Delivery Date and Commited Date in STO PO

    Hi,
I would like to know statistic delivery date and Commited Delivery date in STO PO.
    2 different type of date is displaying STO PO like;
    1. We are getting statistic delivery as "09.02.9999" and Commited Date as "09.02.2011"
    2. 1. We are getting statistic delivery as "09.02.9999" and Commited Date as "09.02.9999"
Could you explain, where we are maintiang those date and how it is displaying in PO Delivery schedule line?
    Thanks.
    Dhanush.

When you create a PO, then the statistical delivery date is set equally to the delivery date.
the statistical delivery date is automatically changed if you change the delivery date before you have outputted the PO.
After you outputted the PO, the statistical delivery date has to be changed manually by the user if he changes the delivery date.
the idea behind this is because of the vendor evaluation, the vendor evaluation is done with the statistical delivery date.
as long you have not printed/faxed/mailed the PO to your vendor, then the statistical delivery date is changed automatically with a delivery date change.
But after a transmission you always have to ask yourself, who is responsible for the change in the delivery date.
If it is you, then you have to change the statistical delivery date to the new delivery date manually, to avoid that the vendor gets valuated against the wrong delivery date. But if it is because the vendor cannot meet the delivery date, then you change the delivery date to have an accuracy for planning, but you keep the old date in the statistical delivery date to valuate the vendor against it.

  • Re-calculate delivery date in Stock transfer order ( STO UB ), V_V2

Hi, running the transaction v_v2 only Sto (Stock Transfer Order) At item level.
    Scenario:
             Sales order in Plant 2.
             Sto ,  Plant 1 to Plant 2.
Purchase Order To Vendor in Plant 1.
When I run V_V2 in Plant 1, the First execute transaction V_V2 is OK, This system availavility check the STO and confirm the delivery date and the quantity.
Now I change the delivery date in Purchase Order but the transaction V_v2 in plant 1 don´t  make any change in the STOCK TRANSFER ORDER (STO) in the Delivery Date field.
Why the systen don´t change the delivery date in STO automaticaly, Becuase I can change manualy in ME22N transaction, and the sytem confirm the quantity and  the confirm date.
    Other Example.
I have good issu the Purchae Order in Plant 1 and execute V_V2, the sytem do not re-calculate the delivery date in STO, Why ?.
    Thanks.

  • Embargo Block on Delivery Document due to future Delivery Date

    Hi Experts,
I am facing a very strang problem where the Delievry Document for STO is getting embargo block. Some how its been figured out that the Delivery Date in the Delivery coming from STO is a future date of year 2011 and when you delete the Delivery and create a new one after changing the Delivery Date in STO from 2011 to a date under 12/01/2010, the system does not block it for Embargo.
Don't understand how date is linked to Embargo.
    Please Help
    Regards
    DG

    Hello DG,
check in transaction /SAPSLL/CNTRY (or via path /sapsll/menu_legal --> Legal control - Export --> "Embargo" Maintain Country-Specific settings) your conditions for Embargo checks. Check whether validity is maintained appropriately.

  • MRP for STO Delivery Date Issue

    Dear Gurus,
We are using MRP to generate STO purchase requisition for a specific material.
We have entered planned delivery time in the receiving plant. The supplying plant is 1000 and receiving plant is 2000.
We have entered planned delivery time in plant 2000 for 10 days . MRP is run at mid night. System is generating PR . But the delivery date is same as current date.
E.G: Material A planned delivery time 10 days in plant 2000
    Planning date is 20/07/2014
in PR : Delivery date is 29/7/2014
and PR release date is 19/7/2014.
The release date is appearing in the past. Kindly help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Sreedhar

    Hi Dev,
When i create STO PR manually all the dates are appearing as per standard calculation considering the planned delivery cost.
The issue is in MRP run.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • STO delivery date should not be in weekend.

    Hi expert,
i just want to make sure the STO delivery date should skip weekend or give a warning message in case it is calcuated based on planned delivery time to be the weekend. Now I know that the calendar in receiving plant configuration can reach this request. but what i concern is, if i change this config, the impact is too big. Does any one have better idea?
also, it looks like that the calendar in unloading point in ship-to master data doesn't work for this.
    Thanks!

    Dear Srinivas,
Change the check as follows from
    Check: BKPF-BUDAT>SYST-DATUM
    to
    BKPF-BUDAT <= BKPF-CPUDT
    add  BSEG-KOART = 'K' in prerequisite

  • VL10B - Creates delivery for STO after delivery date

    Hi All,
VL10B batch job is scheduled to create delivery for STO automatically when stock is available (availability check 02).
batch job creates late delivery though sufficient stock exist
For ex. STO is created on 27 Aug 14 having delivery date 31 Aug 14. (STO is having only one line)
VL10B batch job having delivery date as <= current date + 1.
logically batch job should create delivery on 30 Aug 14 but in my case it is created on 07 Sep 14.
Please help me to understand the cause of this.
    Appreciate quick response
    Regards,
    Anil Patel

    Hi Anil
    See note
1245447 - Avail. check for deliveries that are created automatically
"After you implement the corrections, the availability check is only deactivated when you create the delivery automatically. If you make changes to the delivery afterwards, the system runs the availability check.
The availability check is deactivated for the automatic creation of deliveries for technical reasons."
