Delivery date sales order / purchase requisition

Hello,
I am trying to create a sales order. In my case, the sales order has got two lines for schedule lines:
-delivery date: 24.03.2009
-delivery date: 06.04.2009. This line is the one confirmed. This is because on the material master record the field "planned delivery time" (MARC-PLIFZ) is equal to 13 days
When saving thi sales order, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition with the delivery date confirmed.
But if planned delivery is equal to blank and we use other lead times like, GR processing time (MARC-WEBAZ) or total replanishment lead time (MARC-WZEIT), the sales order doesn´t take into account these two lead times, I mean the sales order is created with delivery date 24.03.2009 and also the purchase requisition.
Does anybody know what I have to do in order to take into account one of these two lead tiemes when creating the sales order?
Best regards

Thanks, but there is not way to maintain it automatically with lead times from material master apart from the "planned delivery time" (MARC-PLIFZ)??? Thanks a lot.

  • Delivery date mandatory in Purchase requisition .

    Hi all,
I want to make the delivery date mandatory in the purchase Requisition and currently the current date is defaulted there , i want that nothing should be there initially.
    Please provide the configuration setting.
    Regards,
    Kapil.

    Hi,
U can make the delivery date field as mandatory in PR , by setting delivery date field as required entry in PR sscreen layout in customization.
Go to SPRO- MM - Purchasing - PR- Define screen layout at doc level - ME51N - Deadline monitoring - Delivery date ( Make this field as reqd entry ) and save it.
And regarding ur second question the default date should be blank, the date gets calculated here based on the planned del time maintained in materila master in MRP2 view.
So if the date showing is todays date when u r creating PR today means, the planned delivery time maintained in MMR is zero days.

  • Setting Delivery dates in the Purchase requisition

    Hi,
We have generated Purchase requisition through MRP procedure. we need to generate the delivery date for  every monday on a weekly basis . Is there any way to set the delivery date like this .

    Hi,
I dont think, if there is any such configuration for this.
You may have to co-ordinate with the Abap guy to get this requirement done.

  • Proposed Delivery Date - Sales Order

    Dear Experts,
I have a problem when we are creation a sales order with transaction VA01. We created a large group of sales order on Saturday. But the delivery date of those Sales Orders is different despit of all those orders we created the same day.
Some order had delivery date for the same day that the order, others have the delivery date for one day later, and other for two days later.
I've checked master data for customers, material... but nothing.
    Please help with this issue...
    Javier Sandoval

Though you have not indicated whether for the same material, stock is confirming on different dates in sale order, I am presuming that my understanding is in line with this, first check in material master MRP2 view where you can see two fields In-House Production and GR Processing.  Check any value is maintained there.
Next go to TCode OVLZ and check the field "In Pick/pack time wrkdys"  whether any numeric value is maintained there.   Depending upon this, stock will be confirmed in sale order.
Finally check in VOV8 - Field "Lead Time in Days"

  • Parallel creation of sales orders, purchase requisitions and purch. orders

    Hi All,
I have the following requirement, can you please provide feedback if it is feasible or not.If yes HOW ??
There is report to upload data which first reads all entries in the file -> create SO/PR and then convert them into POs.
The report displays the all the error and success records.
When large volume of data is uploaded ,then start the PR to PO conversion after converting the first 500 SO/PRs so that the next 500 entries from file can be used to create SO/PRs and so forth. In this way the SO creation and PR to PO conversion happen in parallel batches thereby improving the performance.
Is it possible to run the same program in parallel batches of 500 records??
    Thanks and Regards,

It looks like each SO -> PR -> PO creation is a unit that can be handled in parallel with aRFC (asynchronous RFC), using all available dialog processes minus a few that you want to reserve for other purposes.
Please search for "parallel processing" and "aRFC".
I would not try to split SO -> PR and PR -> PO into several processes because of the dependencies.

  • BAPI to create Delivery from Sales Order posting EIKP data

    Hi All,
I'm searching for BAPIs to create a Delivery from Sales Order which I can update/insert data into EIKP table because I am receiving data that it must be saved into ZOLLA and ZOLLB fields (Customs Office: Office of Exit/Entry and Destination for Foreign Trade).
I tried with BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SAVEREPLICA, BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS and BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC but I didn't find structures with these fields.
Please, I need some help to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

Hello Manoj what you have to do to create PO from PR is that
    1) Use   BAPISDORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST (pass sales order number in sales_document table) and then get PR (Purchase requisition number from this BAPI.
    2) Use  BAPI_REQUISITION_GETDETAIL to get PR items
    3) Use BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to craete PO from PR then.
to create goods movement you can use
    BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE
    REWARDS IF USEFUL.

  • In MIGO, i need to see delivery dates from the purchase order

Is there a way to see in transaction MIGO, the delivery dates from the purchase order?  I hope there is some exit or BADI or BAPI or .... to perform this copy function?
We have multi-line POs for the same material with staggered delivery dates and the Warehouse needs to know which PO line to receive against.

when you enter the PO number in MIGO and hit enter, then you only get the items that can be received.
If you make sure that the PO items are created by ascending delivery date, then you can always take the first.
if you have the personal setting to display all items (even the already received ones), then you can take the first with a quantity proposal. already received items do not propose quantities.
I would ask purchasing to tell the vendor that he has to state the PO number along with the item number in all papers (delivery note, invoice).

  • Delivery from Sale Order for Inquiry stock

    Dear All,
We have unique requirement from client mentioned below, any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is a trading sale which is initiated from inquiry.
    1. Inquiry is created in SD, which in turn triggers Purchase Requisition.
    2. PR is converted to RFQ.
    3. Based on RFQ prices are negotiated with vendors, then Quotation is sent to Customer from VA21 which is created against inquiry.
    4. Now when the PO is created w.r.t RFQ, then GR is done , Stock will be lying against inquiry.
    5. But i want to do delivery from sales order for stock lying against inquiry.
we are looking for a workaround solution.
    Note:
    1. Client has disagreed with Stock Movement from Inquiry to quotation using MB1B, as it becomes manual transaction.
    2. PR triggering has to be @ Inquiry, as sale order will not be created until quotation is approved.
    Looking forward for valuable inputs.
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards,
    Chaithru

    Tien,
Approval will not work when you have mutiple rows of data.  You would have to work with SP Transaction Notification
There has been threads before on the forum on the same topics.

  • Migrate Open items - Sales orders/ purchase orders and unbilled deliveries

    Hello All
Can you please tell me the best practice to migrate open sales orders, purchase orders and deliveries due for billing at Cutover to the new system?
Also how can the historical data be migrated? What all comes under historical data?
    Many Thanks
    CM

The way the sales order data is migrated is largely dependent on the number of orders you are intending to migrate. 'Best practice' would suggest you do the following:
    1) Do not migrate any completed orders (they should be kept as 'read only' in the legacy system)
    2) Get the business to close as many orders as possible before the cutover
    3) Stop entry of any new orders during the cutover the period - hold them back and enter them directly into SAP.
Once you have a manageable numebr of orders to migrate you really have two options:
Upload the basic order into SAP (we have usually done this from a spreadsheet using ALE or some similar tool). The basic data is confirmed to order type, order number, order date, customer number, material code and quantity. Any data in addition to this is then added manually to the system by the users e.g. pricing info (this is really important as pricing data is really difficult to map). To do this you will need to have sequenced this correctly e.g. ensuring that the data and config for both the materials and customers are all already in the system before you load the orders.
The second option would be to load them all completely manually - which is why I said at the beginning that really, the best approach is determined by the quantity of orders you need to migrate.
I am sure other people will have used other methods but these two are the ones we usually use.
(edit) P.S. you must remember that 'open' sales orders are any orders that are not yet billed so even if an order is delivered in your legacy system if it has not been invoiced you MAY need to migrate it. But as I metioned at the beginning - it would really be better to complete that order (i.e. bill it) before you close the legacy system so that it does not need to be migrated.
    ========
For deliveries - again, there is no simple fix for this. Because the migration of a delivery demands the migration of an open sales order, the best approach is probably to load the sales order basic data, get the users to complete the sales orders (as described above) and then run the delivery due lists or manually and individually deliver each sales order item.
You cannot migrate ONLY the deliveries, you need to migrate the preceeding order(s) as well. But, again, if you take the approach of closing as many as possible in the legacy system, it will be much easier than migrating them.

  • Forbid partial delivery of item, but allow partial delivery of sales order

    HI,
have someone faced situation when it is required to allow partial delivery for sales order with restriction that item in sales order should be delivered fully. For example:
    SO has following items:
    Item1     MAT1     10 un
    Item2     MAT2     10 un
    Item3     MAT3     10 un
Material MAT3 only 5 un available in storage. MAT1 and MAT2 are available.
The system should create delivery for Items 1 and 2, but not for 3. Next time when creating delivery from SO and MAT3 is available, delivery is created por item3.
I have found Partial delivery indicator on client data. This allows partial delivery.  Then I have found partial delivery indicator on sales order item data (Shipping).
Is it possible to combine those two indicators to ensure client request?
Can this requirement be covered in another way?
    Thanx in advance!
    Brucke

You can achieve the requirment using customer-material information record.
In t.code VD51, maintain customer-material information record. Here you can find a field called partial delivery/item field. Here you maintain value C- Only complete delivery allowed. Leave the max.Par.deliveries field blank.
This will make sure that the partial deliveries are NOT allowed for a particular customer/material combination. If you maintain this setting at customer master level (t.code VD02), then this will apply for all materials.

  • Link between Delivery Header & Sales Order Item for extraction to 2nd level

    Hi Guys ,
I am having a requirement that need to pull the following data to 2nd level DSO
    1.  Delivery Header Data
    2. Sales Order Item data. ( Sales Document, Item, Item RDD, Material)
So I am planning create a 2nd level DSO on top of Delivery header and need to pull the sales order ITEM level data ( Sales document , Order ITEM, ITEM RDD date , Material)  through start routine u2026
How can I pull the Sales Order Item data through start routine?  i.e I need the link between Delivery Header & Sales Order Item Data .
or I need the link between LIKP ( Delivery Header) Vs VBAP ( Sales Document Item).
    Thanks
Edited by: krismady on Sep 22, 2010 2:26 AM
or I need the link between LIKP ( Delivery Header) Vs VBAP ( Sales Document Item).

    Hi Krish,
You can use VBLEN (Sales Document) to link Delivery header DS (2LIS_12_VCHDR) and Delivery item DS (2LIS_12_VCITM). Now In delivery item DS (2LIS_12_VCITM) you have VGBEL (Reference doc.) and VGPOS (Reference item) which is nothing but sales order document number and sales item in Order item DS (2LIS_11_VAITM) .
So you need to link in above way to get other values in your DSO.
    It is proven method.
    Thanks,
    Uday Shankar.

  • BAPI or FM to create outbound delivery from Sales order

    Hello All,
My requirement is to create a outbound delivery from sales order. Also i need the batch number and texts to be updated in the delivery.
For this i need a single FM. The catch is that we don't have the batch number and texts in the sales order. That i have to take from some other delivery. I can get all the information .
The problem is that i can not find a FM through which i can create the delivery from the order and update the same.
I should not use two FM.
Could you please tell me some FM which does both in one go?
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi
    Hi,
You can use the BAPI BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC.
    Check this sample code..
    PARAMETERS: p_vbeln LIKE vbak-vbeln.
DATA: BEGIN OF t_vbap OCCURS 0,
    vbeln LIKE vbap-vbeln,
    posnr LIKE vbap-posnr,
    kwmeng LIKE vbap-kwmeng,
    matnr LIKE vbap-matnr,
    werks LIKE vbap-werks,
    END OF t_vbap.
DATA: t_request TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bapideliciousrequest
    WITH HEADER LINE.
DATA: t_created TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bapideliciouscreateditems
    WITH HEADER LINE.
DATA: t_return TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bapiret2 WITH HEADER LINE.
SELECT vbeln posnr kwmeng matnr werks
    INTO TABLE t_vbap
    FROM vbap
    WHERE vbeln = p_vbeln.
    LOOP AT t_vbap.
    t_request-document_numb = t_vbap-vbeln.
    t_request-document_item = t_vbap-posnr.
    t_request-quantity_sales_uom = t_vbap-kwmeng.
    t_request-id = 1.
    t_request-document_type = 'A'.
    t_request-delivery_date = sy-datum.
    t_request-material = t_vbap-matnr.
    t_request-plant = t_vbap-werks.
    t_request-date = sy-datum.
    t_request-goods_issue_date = sy-datum.
    t_request-goods_issue_time = sy-uzeit.
    APPEND t_request.
    ENDLOOP.
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC'
    TABLES
    request = t_request
    createditems = t_created
    return = t_return
READ TABLE t_return WITH KEY type = 'E'.
    IF sy-subrc = 0.
MESSAGE e208(00) WITH 'Delivery creation error'.
    ENDIF.
    COMMIT WORK.
    READ TABLE t_created INDEX 1.
    Write: / 'Delivery ', t_created-document_numb.

For SD guys access to sales order only it will not allow to create delivery for that product..for thts y u r not allowed to access  for delivery.
