Delivery Document Type

Hi Gurus,
How can we identify what type of Delivery Document Type triggered in a Delivery Order Level(i.e in Delivery Order Screen)?
Regards,
Sarosh

Hi,
It depends on the Delivery type you define in the order type configuration.
For example in stanard Order Type OR configuration, there is a field called Delivery Type field in which we assign LF.So whenever you do a delivery with respect to Order Type OR,it picks up LF delivery type automatically.
Give ur feedback.

  • Assignment field in goods issue/delivery document type WL

    Hi,
Would anyone know where we can check how the value for Assignment field in goods issue/delivery document type WL is determined? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
    Sheila

Thanks Samit. We are already aware of the delivery document type. Would this be maintained anywhere in the copy control? We are still not able to determine how the Assignment field is populated in the accounting document of goods issuance. Thanks.

  • What is th delivery document type

    hi gurus,
what is the intercompany delivery document type.  in cin what does offset entry means.
    Thanks  in advance

    Dear Rack 29,
There is no seperate delivery type for the intercompany process you can use LF or NL based on the process.
If you are using Stock transfer order (STO) delivery type NL will be consider.
If you are doing with normal process Sales order then Delivery you can use LF , you can copy the standard one you can rename it as oer your requirement.
I hope this will help you,

  • Delivery document type settings

    Hi all,
In standard SAP For LF delivery type, Default order type DL (Delivery with out sales order reference) is assigned. What is the use of this.
For delivery with out reference to sales order system will not allow us to use delivery type LF.
we only use Delivery type LO.Then why DL is assigned to this.
One more question for LO delivery type DL is assigned. Can I see DL anywhere in the delivery document?
    Regards
    Mano

    Hello Mano,
It is not the case that you cannot use LO for Delivery with Order reference or LF without Order Reference.
It is because it has been set in the Delivery document parameter setting that it requires an Order Reference or not .
You can change it if you want by making a copy of the Document type so that Standard is maintained.
For your query,SAP has probably maintained most of the  Delivery documents with Default Order as DL.
Because if you create a delivery with or without reference the items declared in the Delivery document should have some reference document before it.
This is the F1 help which clearly states the use of declaring the Order type
Default order type for deliveries without reference to order
The default for a "pseudo" order type for deliveries or delivery items that do not refer to an existing order.
    Use
When you create delivery documents that do not refer to existing orders, you must provide some of the control criteria that are normally copied from a sales document header into the delivery document.
    Example
A delivery document, for example, needs information about which item types need to be defined.
    Procedure
You can define a pseudo order type in Table TVAK. When you create a delivery that does not refer to an existing order, the system automatically uses the pseudo order type.
Hope it is clear to you now.

Currently we have onle on plant 1010 and shipping point 1010.
storage location for outbound deliveries determined based on MALA rule has been assigned to LF.

    Hi Alex,
For Character devices, you have to use SAPConsole.
For GUI devices if you want to use online, it should be ITSMobile(Earlier this was WebSAPConsole).
    Thanks.

  • Unable to capture condition type in delivery document

There are deliveries in production server, for the same destination zone, in which, for some deliveries, the condition Z52L is not determined and for some other deliveries, the condition Z52L is determined although the condition record for its plant with its corresponding destination zone is maintained in VK13.
For example, if we take 2 documents with the same Ship-To-Party, same Plant, and same Destination Zone:
1 delivery document, condition Z52L is properly determined while the other
delivery document, condition Z52L is not determined.
Another good representative example if we take 2 delivery documents with the same Ship-To-Party, same Plant and same destination zone:
1 delivery document, condition Z52L is properly determined while the other
delivery document, condition Z52L is not determined.
But in the analysis pricing of the delivery document, there is no destination zone found but still it captures the condition Z52L by just referring to the transportation zone of the ship to party while the other delivery document cannot able to capture it since there is no maintained condition record for those with blank destination zone in VK13.
Another point that we want to clarify is even the user update the pricing in the delivery document, still the condition was not yet updated even it is already maintained in VK13.
Please help and explain this issue to us.
Thank you in advance. Hoping for your assistance on this matter.
    Reyna Agustin

    hi,
for the first errot check if you have maintained the item level copy control (from sales order to del). if yes check the settings against the field 'pos/- qty'. put a + here. for the second issue check in the item level copy ctrl from sales order to billing maintain 'd' in the price type.

  • Table for output type of a delivery document

    Hi guys,
Would you know where could I find the output type of a delivery document espcially after I posted a GI in Shipment? Basically, It should reflect in devlivery document. So I am not sure if I should look at the delivery tables or goods issue.
    Help me guys!
    POints for the helpful ideas.
    THanks!

    Hi,
There are 2things to be noted here.
    1. If your output type was already triggered once, then it should be visible in display mode also, with a Green colour button (if it is processed and the print out  is obtained). The fact that the output type is not seen in display  mode, says that the output type so far has nto been triggered.
    2. Seeing the output type coming in yellow colour in change mode of delivery document is expected. This means that the output is getting triggered now.If you save teh document now, you will get the print out. When you go in display mode again after a gap of say 1min, you can see the same output in Green colour as mentioned earlier.
I hope this clarifies your doubt. Please let me know if you need some more info
You can reward me if it helped you

  • Excise condition types not appearing in the Delivery document pricing

    Hi,
This is a scenario of sales from an Exciseable Plant.
The client has pricing requirement at delivery document.
I have configured the pricing at Delivery document, but the Excise condition type (JEXP) does not appear.
We are maintaine ED values at control code level and control code field is not availabe in LIPS, i tried adding the field in LIPS structure but still the ED condition type does not appear as program is not identifying the control code field in delivery.
Can you please let me know the solution for bringing Excise condition type in the Delivery document pricing procedure.
    Regards
    Venkat

Changed the Condition Category from 'F' to 'L'.

  • Particular billing type for  delivery document

i have requirement like according to customer group system has to pick the billing type automatically.
like delivery document may be from any order type but if the customer group for that delivery is say ABC, it should allow only billing type B1.
any user exit or badi for this?

    Hello,
you could implement that in a copy condition (Transaction VOFM)  - copying the condition 003 to a 9xx and implementing the your logic additionally.
Or you could try with the old userexit_fill_vbrk_vbrp in RV60AFVC. In newer releases there's  in addition
a badi badi_sd_billing_item method vbrk_vbrp_fill where you get the delivery and may change the invoice.

    Hi
As far as my experiance with SAP says we don't have any SAP Standard setting to update the entry related to T-code. Internally all the ABAP code reads the t-code and based on the processing type define it execute the code and update the table so that later analysis can be done by which t-code the document got generated

  • Regarding Delivery and document type

    Hi Gurus,
I copied both the delivery type and document type from NL and UB and I also assigned delivery type and checking rule to the supplying plant in SPRO- LE - MM- PUR- PO - set up STO. and also assigned the Document type in SPRO- LE - MM- PUR- PO - set up STO assign doc type, one step....
But when I create the STO the system issues a warning message that
Doc. type YUB should be used for suppl. plant XXXX and receiving plant XXXX
    Message no. 06674
can you please give me some suggestions
    Shane

    Hi narayan,
I am working with INTRA company STO and I have checked with the config what i have did again and now I can get the shipping tab.............. only thing is before I have forgot to assign the Issuing storage location in the transaction process. So now i can create  a STO.
Now I am not sure how and where we need to make changes so that the process doesnt ask for Issuing storage location information and still create the STO between two plants in a same company.
Thank you for your responses. They really helped me in figuring where exactly i am going wrong

    Hi all,
I am trying to create a purchase order with a BP01 supplier and the BP02 division but I get the following error message No delivery type defined for supplying plant BP01 and document type.
When I create a PO with a BP02 supplier and the BP01 I do not get any message.
How can I fix it ?

1)Create one Customer for Supplying Plant Sales area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME---> PO -
    > Set up STO -
    > define Shipping Data for plants. and maintain the same sales area in your Supplying plant.
    2) In OLME---> PO -
    > Set up STO.....for your Document Type: UB and Suppying plant Combination assign Del. Type NL and Checking rule RP
    3) In OLME---> PO -
    > Set up STO...for your Supplying Plant and Receiving Plant combination Maintain Doc. Type : UB
Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for your Material at Supplying Plant.
    4) Maintain Shipping point at, SPRO----> Logistics Execution -
    > Shipping -
    > Basic Shipping Functions -
    > Shipping Point Determination for Plants.....there for your Loading group,Shipping Condition, Shipping Plant combination maintain Shipping plant..
Now Create STO in ME21N with Doc.type: UB at Receiving Plant.
Then Create Delivery in VL10B from Supplying Plant...
Then Do PGI in VL02N from supplying Plant.
Then do GR at Receiving Plant based on Outbound Delivery at Receiving Plant...
