Delivery FAIL!

I am so disappointed in Best Buy right now. I ordered my Samsung TV 2 days ago and they gave me a delivery date for TODAY. 
"The scheduled appointment date of your item(s) below is Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Click to add this appointment to your Outlook, iCal, Google, Yahoo, or Hotmail calendar. Note that Outlook and iCal links are not supported on mobile and may not work with all internet browser versions."
No Call yesterday. I called once this morning and the first lady told me that it would be delivered today and that they would call me 2 hours before they show up. This is after she confirmed her system says delivery is on Friday....
I checked the status of my order online and it stated delivery was confirmed for Friday......
I called back a second time and this woman told me it IS scheduled for Friday......
This is absolutely unacceptable. I am entertaining for Thanksgiving and my decision to purchase was because I could get it by today. 
I do not think you can trust Best Buy to "deliver" on their delivery service for the holidays. Pity.

  • Delivery fails: "The server response was: 4.7.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later. PRX3"

    Trying to setup an Exchange 2013 server, with the DC and Exchange on same machine. WHen I try to deliver for either of the 2 mailboxes I have setup, I get this error.
    The server returned status code 451 - Error in processing. The server response was: 4.7.0 Temporary server error. Please try again later. PRX3 
    It doesn't seem to be a resource issue (I'm running an XL instance on Azure), and all other connectivity works fine (and fast). I just can't receive email there. 
    Looking in the event logs, I saw one issue related to the Front End HTTP proxy, but I wouldn't assume that's relevant here. (And connectivity via Outlook & OWA seem to be fine, with the exception
    of some redirect issues on the latter).
    I did end up installing Exchange on a secondary drive for space considerations, so the location is different... not sure if that would factor in either.
    Any ideas? I don't even really know where to start debugging this. I'm trying to set this up to work on some event sync/forwarding code.

    Ok, I think I solved my problem but figured I would update here for others who may be running into the same issue.
    In my \Exchange\TransportRoles\Logs\FrontEnd\ProtocolLog\SmtpReceive\*.LOG, I found more detailed information on the issue.
    "Message or connection acked with status Retry and response 
    451 4.4.0 Error encountered while communicating with primary target IP address: ""421 4.2.1 Unable to connect."" 
    Attempted failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed. Either there are no alternate hosts, or delivery failed to all alternate hosts. The last endpoint attempted was 10.10.10.1:2525"
    I thought creating an endpoint for 25 would be sufficient, but once I created another endpoint for 2525 then my tests started working.

  • Yosemite mac mail drowning in mail delivery failed messages I didn't send!

    Since upgrading to Yosemite, I am getting hundreds (tens of thousands this week!) emails that read:
    From: Mail Delivery System
    Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender
    But I didn't send any of the emails! I've spent this entire week deleting them, working on phone with my server who claims to have fixed it (NOT!), and 5 hours on phone support with Apple today. Still happening. There must be a setting that is screwed up in Yosemite, eh? Who can help me? Using Mac Mail on Mac Book Pro. I'm drowning here! GLUG. Thanks!

    Did all of that with Apple and they nor my server thought this was the problem, nor did they get it resolved. I'm wondering if there's a rule in Mail preferences that I accidentally deleted that could be the cause. There were two rules and neither made any sense to me but as soon as I deleted the first one, I realized I probably shouldn't have. And there's been a huge problem since...not sure that's why but I must find the resolution. I did have genieo somehow installed so Apple got it uninstalled and did tons of things to my system to clean this and that. BUT the problem remains. If you use mac mail and Yosemite, can you check the two rules that automatically were in the mail preferences window to tell me what rule I deleted? Thank you so very much!

    I am getting a "Mail Delivery Failed" message. The address' that failed are to recipients I am not familiar with and have not tried to email. Has my email been hijacked?

    I'm getting the same problem ... only it happens to anyone who sends a message TO me. This only happens on my .mac address --- not other email addresses that I use. It's as if the .mac smtp code is ADDING a bcc to any message sent to me! All the comments to date have been less than encouraging - surely SOMETHING can be done about this! No?

    My default e-mail account is GMail imap, and I have no problem sending text-only email messages.
    Any thoughts?

    I'm having this issue now on my iPhone.
    I'm using Gmail via POP to send email. I can send text messages w/o any problems, however when I send photos I get the following error:
    Photo Delivery Failed

    I assume that the fix is to delete my email account on my iphone and then resync or something similar... but before I do this I'm hoping that someone can verify a set of steps to solve this issue.

    i have the first gen iphone and have a problem since november, sending photos...getting the error message "Photo Delivery Failed" yet photos are received and it keeps sending it 3 - 6 times. the first time it happened it sent up to 40 times to the annoyance of my family....unfortunately i had sent the photo to several family members! i shut off the phone completely. but once i rebooted the next day, it continued resending and giving me the error message, just not so many times now. i am reluctant to send photos to anybody now. but i know it still happens because i send photos from my iphone for work purposes to my work email quite often. (my employer won't allow to install itunes to download them on my work computer...)

    Ok, I'm not the only one having this problem! Anyone? I've tried deleting the yahoo account and reinstalling and that hasn't worked.

    Help! I have the same issue. I use YAHOO. When I send a photo from my iPhone, it gives an error message "Photo Delivery Failed". I click ok. The Photo was actually sent to the email address even though I had the error message. Next time I unlock the iPhone, I see the Photo Delivery Failure message again. The iPhone then proceeds to send multiple copies of the photo to the email address. I cannot stop it from sending duplicates.
    Any suggestions?

    I recently upgraded to the 5s. My brother used to have an iphone but switched to another phone. When i try to text him, my phone tries to send an imessage and i get a delivery failed message and have to resend as a text. i have removed his contact info a couple of times and reseyt imessage several times but still keep having this issue. Any ideas?

    That's because your brother failed to turn off iMessage before switching to a different phone. He will need to fix that. The only thing that you can do to avoid the problem is turn off iMessage.

    I have iOS8.1currently on my phone and software is up to date.  I have an  iphone 5s The last few weeks randomly both imessages and text messages will not go through. It will say "delivery failed". Sometimes that is the case and other times the message apparently goes through because I get a reply from the person at the other end of the message. The frequency this keeps happening is getting worse by the minute!!   Please help

    It seems you are unable to send or receive sms messages or use the iMessage service. That does sound troublesome. The following article may help you resolve this issue:
    Restart your device and check for updates
    Restart your device.
    Check for a carrier settings update.
    Check for an iOS software update.
    Contact your carrier
    If you can't send or receive SMS or MMS messages, contact your carrier to check your text messaging plan.

    I receive "delivery failed" emails for emails I never sent to email addresses I don't recognize.  Who do I contact?

    Welcome to the Internet.  Here, have some spam.  :-)
    You're either being spammed (and your mail filters aren't fully dialed in and set to ignore or delete this dreck), or your email address was forged (as the return address) by a spammer sending out messages to others and folks that don't know how to properly configure and operate an email servers are now causing collateral damage by reflecting that spam run back at you.   (No spammer really wants to deal with all those bounced messages, after all.)
    It's possible that your mail address has been acquired by a spammer, but it's equally possible that - if your email address has a common name or string to the left of the @ sign - that the spammers determined your address by brute force, too.
    And yes, make sure your email passwords are not in the stock attack dictionaries (the list of the five or ten thousand most common passwords are widely known), and (if your ISP permits it) use SSL/TLS (encrypted) transports to access your ISP mail server.

    i bought a new ipod touch 5.0.3 and i go to send a message threw imessege to a friend who has imessege as well and it always comes up "delivery failed" and i have tried a lot of things to try and solve the problem but it keeps saying the same thing
    i have set it all up like it told me to and i did everything it said on set up and it just started doing it and i cant get it working
    is there some way of fixing this problem without resetting and losing my things on my ipod

    eprint center shows computr connected email address is allowed to send email to printer but when i send email get mail delivery failed  this is a permanent error 550 5.7.1 command

    For those who are experiencing ongoing issues with their web services, you can attempt to try the following steps that may help resolve your problems.
    1.) Completely shut down your printer and restart it
    2.) If you have prints that have not printed, log into ePrint Center (or create an account if you do not have one) and then look for your printer status. If printer status is green but you still have pending jobs, delete the pending jobs one at a time (Starting with the oldest first). There may be a print job stuck in the queue that further restricts other jobs from completing.
    a. If option 1 or 2 above still doesn’t work, removing web services and re-adding web services will cause the printer to reattach to the cloud.
    b. Please note that if you attempt option 3, you will get a new eprint email address (and lose your custom one with no ability to get it back) furthermore, you will need to re-add your printer back to your ePC account.
