Delivery group message

Hi,
Everytime i try to save order iam getting a msg stating "delivery group 001 consists of only one item"
Is that an error or warning or a simple msg. and what has to be configured so that i dont get this msg agian while saving order.

Check the delivery group in sales order-shipping tab
delete the delivery group. It will be 001 and check.

Delivery group 001: Item 000020 contains no confirmed schedule lines

Hi,
I am getting following error message when i try to save sale order
"Delivery group 001: Item 000020 contains no confirmed schedule lines"
The item is a BOM itam and when i checked Deliverygroup for all items in BOM, it is the same for all.
Pls let me know how can i save sale order??

hi srikky,
delivery group stands for:
for example you have entered a BOM item in line item 20.
and it contains plenty of components in that BOM
then if you assign these delivery group at transaction level then it will combine all the components material available dates and gives one single Material availability date basing on the components feasibility.
so coming to your issue, here that delivery group's 001 is not having confirmed material availabilit date so it is throwing an error on schedule lines.
i think you should go to OVZJ and check FIXED DATE AND QUANTITY against the salesarea.

Group messaging issue with messages being sent to email rather than mobile

Hi,
I have an iPhone 4s running iOS 6.0.1. I tried to send out a large group message today by opening up messages and clicking on the + button (top right corner) and selecting a number of recipients one by one in the list.
What I noticed was that when selecting some contacts, I was prompted for a delivery address while other contacts were automatically selected and I couldn't change the delivery path. Unfortunately the phone was automatically sending the messages to the recipients email rather than their mobile phone (I checked my mobile usage records). I couldn't select the recipient in the list and change the delivery method either... I also noticed that the message would change from an sms to mms message automatically because the iphone was automatically choosing an email address to send to. This is really annoying!!! Does anyone know a work around?
I tried disabling mms messaging in settings-messaging but I would get an error saying:
Cannot Send Message: MMS Messaging needs to be enabled to send to an email address
This is incredibly frustrating. Why doesn't the iphone allow you to select the delivery address for each contact rather than automatically selecting an email address? I thought the iphone would be smart enough to select their mobile number since it is a mobile messaging device...
Any ideas?

Delivery group 001 is not complete

I created an order with multiple items having different shipping points and transportation groups.
When I am creating delivery, I am able to do split the delivery and process it manually because of different shipping points and transportation groups.
I created another order with the same items, If I am trying to run delivery in background with TCode VL10G or VL10BATCH, it is not allowing me to do so and it is showing an error:
"Delivery group 001 is not complete
    Message no. VL089
Diagnosis
    Delivery group 001 copied from the sales order on which the delivery is
    based, is not complete. Not all items of the delivery group exist in
    this delivery."
Can anyone provide some info on how to run deliveries background with help of a batch?

I have few BOMs where the transportation group of header item and components BOTH do not differ and ALSO differ to one another.

I created an order with a Sales BOM that has both restricted and unrestricted transportation group components.
But for the whole BOM (including components), it is pulling up the data of Header item (route & shipping point) and it is not bringing in appropriate info (route & shipping point) of components.

2) Where I can find the configuration of Delivery group and other than in Item Category? Can you please suggest me the path? I would like to see separate delivery groups if the route and shipping points differ to the items in order for the appropriate delivery split.
Please guide me how to fix this.

Deliver Complete and Delivery Groups

Hello All
I am an ABAPer, not an SD consultant, so please forgive me if my question is trivial. I am working an issue in which I'm not sure if there is a config problem or an SAP problem.
The scenario is that I have a sales BOM in a sales order that is marked "deliver complete". The sales BOM items are in a delivery group (1). Since one or more of the component items do not have enough available inventory I would expect VL01N to issue an error message and fail to create the delivery.
Instead, it creates the delivery but simply leaves out any items that do not have available material. Since the delivery groups are present and the sales order was marked "deliver complete" I am not sure why this is happening as I expect the delivery to not even be created.
I found user exit MV50AFZL and commented the first line and un-commented the last line (to return a 2) which indicates our preference to not delivery ANY material from an incomplete delivery group but the delivery gets created anyway.
I'm not sure if additional config or data needs to be corrected, if there is an OSS note I am missing, or if I simply misunderstand how the system should work in this scenario.
I did a search for delivery group here in the forums and looked for notes but couldn't find anything matching our scenario. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

We should appreciate, that you have done search before posting the thread in the forum.
Coming to your issue:-
Since one or more of the component items do not have enough available inventory I would expect VL01N to issue an error message and fail to create the delivery.
you may be aware, that Sales BOM can be dispatched in two ways, i.e. delivery can be at main item level directly OR delivery can be @ component level & pricing will be carried out accordingly. This will be controlled through item category inturn determined based on Item category group assigned in Material Master - Sales Org 2 tab.
Eg:
If BOM delivery @ Main item level- then item category group for maint item :ERLA
If BOM delivery @ sub item level - then item category group for main item:LUMF
As per your post, it seems you are issuing goods @ component level & in std , Item category will control this material: TAN
if you dont want the system to create delivery,if there is not enough stock available in the inventory, you can fine tune Item Category in such a way in Tcode:0VLP
select Item Cat:TAN & choose "magnifying glass" icon in blue
Mark "Material no 0 allowed" & in Check quantity "zero" - B=situation rejected with an error message.
through which, we allow the system to allow the "Zero" quantity & maintaining "B" in Check quantity zero, we reject the transaction.
This will help especially, when there is no stock in the inventory, then delivery will not be created / saved.

I am getting a few errors each day related to the following type of message. I have done some web searches, and a few pointed to Windows 2008 DNS as a possible problem. However, our Ironports point to our external DNS which is BIND.   Here is the relevant data from message tracking.
SMTP delivery connection (DCID 163673330) opened from IronPort interface 10.193.13.181 to IP address 10.192.3.45 on port 25.

Greetings Elias,
With the data you provided its a bit difficult to say if this is related to a DNS issue or not. A couple of things you may want to do here to further diagnose this.
If delivery attempts fail, this means the destination's mail server did not accept a given message after 72 hours or 100 iterations of consecutive tries (example).   This issue can be seen either incoming (delivery to your internal groupware server) or outgoing (towards another domain via the Internet).   While this does not necessarily signal a problem with your local IronPort ESA, you can work around this by extending the retransmission period or number of attempts, and therefore increasing the chances for successful delivery.   These values are controlled by the IronPort's Bounce Profiles.
Note: If you wish to make the retransmission timeout more lax, increasing the value may increase your chance for successful delivery.   The overall duration (i.e., "maximum number of seconds") defines times in terms of seconds. The default value is 259,200 seconds, or three days. We'd recommend increasing this threshold to 345,600 seconds (four days) or 432,000 (five days) if necessary.
To edit the "Default" bounce profile via the GUI:
1) Go to Network > Bounce Profiles > select your Profile Name
2) set "Maximum Number of Retries" to change the number of times we attempt delivery
3) set "Maximum Time in Queue" to specify the total length of time to store the message for retransmission
4) set "Maximum Time to Wait per Message" to give the maximum interval between retries
Alternatively, we can use the CLI 'bounceconfig' command to set the same values.
You may also want to enable the domain debug logs to this host. This way you can see the full smtp conversation between your appliance and the remote host. This may provide some more detail on the previous failures before it gets to this state.
Additionally you may want to also consult the mail logs for the previous failures.
Below is some more information on setting up the domain debug logs.
The domain debug log is a system log designed to record all SMTP traffic between a specific domain and an   Email Security Appliance (ESA) for a finite number of sessions. This log type can assist in troubleshooting issues that relate to a specific recipient domain or host. Each session is recorded until the number of session defined has been reached, at which time the log will stop collecting data. You can stop domain debug before all sessions have been recorded by deleting or editing the log subscription.
Configuration
Logs can be configured and created through the IronPort CLI   using the logconfig command or via the GUI.
To configure logs via the GUI, see the Advanced User Guide: Log Subscriptions .
Below is an example of creating a Domain Debug Log subscription using the CLI:.

Working with Delivery Groups

Dear forum,
I am looking into using Delivery Groups to help in our scheduling process. We have some customers which place sales orders and require that products get shipped together or that the order must be shipped complete. I started looking at the delivery group in the sales order which i can assign a delivery group to multiple items. I am hoping that by grouping these items the GI date in the schedule lines will be set the same, or set equal to the latest schedule line. At this time it is only setting the Group Delivery date, but is not updating the schedule lines. What is needed in confiuration to set all schedule lines the same based on the delivery group. The items are not part of a sale BOM.
I was also looking for information about what the Complete delivery flag at the delivery hearder shipping tab will do. Is there any why, that if this is set all schedule lines will have same date so that they will ship together, or does this flag just set warning messages in the delivery if partial delivery is made.

this functionality is not supported by SAP and as such even a custom development is not involved. So the only option left out is to use user exit wherein the required code needs to be written.

I am trying to better understand Exchange 2013 Delivery Groups and Boundaries. I think I have it almost figured out, I reviewed this article here which helped clear it up for me:

In Exchange 2013 there are only two roles, while five roles in Exchange 2010. There is difference between Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013 on mail delivery.

IPhone not showing all replies to group messages

In the last month my iPhone 5 has stopped showing all replies to group messages.
For example a friend shall send a group message to another friend and I, I shall either not see this message but see another friends reply in a text message that appears to be between the two of us. Or see the group message as an individual conversation between two people with no replies from other parties.
I am currently running iOS 7.1.1
Can anyone help me?

At the bottom of the page Settings > Messages you should have a section headed "SMS/MMS" Turn MMS messaging on then you can turn group message on.

How can I not reveal group members' email addresses when sending a group message?

Use BCC instead of TO. That is what that feature is for.

I group messaged from my ipad and this has screwed up the way my messages are reveived by my friends (it creates new threads in their phones with my email in place of my contact name) I've stopped messaging from my ipad but the problem remains. Any help?

I have an iPhone 4S and use the group texting feature ALL THE TIME. I recently updated my iPad to the latest software and made the colossal mistake of continuing my group messaging from my iPad while connected to wifi. Doing this has successfully screwed but every group text thread I am in, to the point where its very hard for those involved in the thread to keep up. When I initially messaged those I was already engaged in text threads with it created a new thread in their phones replacing my name in their phones with my email. At first this was not a big deal but ever since then the people I am messaging have become increasingly frustrated with how my messages come through. If I am messaged in a group text and respond to it, sometimes when I respond it will create an entirely different thread in my recipients phones. So at that point they have to switch threads in order to read what I wrote. The new thread that my phone creates will send the message under my email not my name (related to the contact they have me saved as in their phones). The worst part about it is that there seems to be no rhyme or reason to why or when my phone will send the message as normal or under my email like it did with my iPad. I haven’t messaged from my iPad since these problems immediately began a month ago but the issues still continue. I have tried everything to get this to stop, I’ve turned off my wifi, I’ve had my friends delete the threads that my messages create in their phones. I’ve had them delete my email in their contact lists and nothing has worked. Can you help me? Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Note: My phone message no different whatsoever. All the threads have remained the same. The issue is what it is doing to the people that I am messaging.

I have this identical problem. For a while my group texts didnt show up on my ipad. Then one day they did, maybe everyone in the group started using the same os version or something. Ever since my first reply to the group there have been complaints of multiple threads. I can not find a pattern for when my group text's decide they want to create a new thread. (it doesnt happen every time) Everyone in the group has deleted the thread, we've all toggled imessage on/off etc. There still hasn't been a solution.
Any help would be appreciated.
