Delivery method when creating course type

Hi,
I am not getting the 'Delivery method' option when creating course type..it takes 'Class room' training by default always..
I was getting this option 2 days before..Do i have to change some configs for this?

I am facing the same problem.
But despite adding Infotype 5007 for Object Type D in table T777I, the Delivery Method option is not appearing for me.
It was appearing as long as LSO was activated in the system.
But since my customer is not using LSO, we deactivated it. My customer is using TEM stand-alone (ECC6.0).
I suspect this functionality is available only while using LSO.
Let me know if you are aware of this.

To Blank out system default requested delivery date when create Sales Order

Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem when create Sales Order doc copy with reference to a contract.
The create with reference screen under the Contract tab, SAP default with current date as the Requested delivery date.
Is there any way to blank out this default as I need to use the requested delivery data in the contract doc ?

Try this--
While defining the Contract sales docment type in VOV8, uncheck the proposed delivery date field in the tab Requested delivery date/ reqested pricing date/reqested prchase order date
I will not propose the system date and leaves the field blank
you can enter the required delivery date.

I am looking forward to the release where we can flag a method's parameter as 'DEFAULT NULL' and especially the ability to include an inherited or included attribute as part of the primary key or the primary key. With the last release where the method body is stubbed out with 'BEGIN NULL; END;' really provided the basic ability for rapid prototyping. Once the key 'FORCE' is in place, the ability to rapid prototype will become even more functional.

Post code in delivery address when creating PO

Hi friends,
when creating PO, the post code field under delivery address tab is a required field. while some of our delivery address do not has post code. it seems a mandatory filed.
How could I change it to a optional field.

Calculating PO Delivery Date when created from PR

Hi,
When a PO is created with reference to a PR, the "delivery date" is copied from the PR. However, if the PR has been unprocessed for 7 days, the delivery date is now effectively old.
So is it possible to change the settings so that instead the delivery date is always calculated from lead time either in PIR or material master, so it is always accurate.
For example:
Requisition created on 1st July for delivery 1st Aug based on lead time.
PO created after 1 week - on 8th July - delivery date in PO is 1st Aug - unless changed prior to printing manually.

do you really think that this is the way to improve the situation.
Instead of changing SAP, you should speed up your buyers.
If the material is needed on August 1st.
Then the delivery date of august 1st + 7 day for sleeping buyers does not meet the requirements of the planner.
Maybe you should think about extending the lead time with the sleep time (purchasing processing time), so MRP can plan more accurate the next time.

Http 403 when creating message type

Hi,
I have a bpel process that invokes a secure web service (https://....?wsdl). To be able to create the partner link and execute the process, I had to copy the certificate in two directories and import the certificate in jdeveloper and soa suite.
So, now I'm able to invoke the secure web service. The problem appears when I want to create a new Message Type using the secure web service. I try to choose the ws types and this error appears: "Error reading message parts! HTTP connection error code is 403"
I tried creating my own schema but when using xpath expression there are problems with the namespaces. So I would need to create the variable using the original wsdl.
Does anybody know what is happening? How can I solve this issue?

Delivery Error when creating Sharepoint Document Library subscription

Recently we have been having issue with a subscription from a report we have.
We have a report that has been generated and have a subscription from that report to create a PDF document within sharepoint.
Recently the subscription stopped working and we have these errors showing:
A delivery error has occurred. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.DeliveryErrorException: A delivery error has occurred. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.InvalidExtensionParameter: One of the extension parameters
is not valid for the following reason: Failed to validate the delivery setting PATH.The specified user USERNAME could not be found.

Looking into this, I found a few things but they did not help.
One thing was to install update 5 for SQL server 2012 R2, but that didn't help.
Another thing was saying something about there being 2 user accounts, a claims account and a windows user account, but I couldn't figure out how to make it use the correct account.
I also tried to save it to a Windows File Share, and try to save it to the Sharepoint server side, however that failed stating it couldn't find that path.
Being that sharepoint is tricky with its file store (is there really a location on the server that files are stored, I cant find it) I could not figure it out.
I know I can windows explorer to the file location, \\site\shared documents\Folder but if I go to the web servers that host sharepoint I can't find where this path really is.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to get error in accessing sharepoint document library files.
The cause is that the account being used to validate accounts on the production domain had been set to expire the password according to the general domain policy.
Once the account is set to never expire, the issues will disappear.

Not seeing persistEntity or mergeEntity method when creating a session EJB

Hi all,
I am using JDev 11g to develop an ADF application. I have finished creating an entity EJB from database tables. Then I want to create a session EJB. In JDev, I do not see persistEntity or mergeEntity method in "<Core Facade Methods>"; rather, I am seeing another method
public Object queryByRange(String jpqlStmt,int firstResult,int maxResults)
listed there.
Could you please let me know why? I am expecting to have persistEntity and mergeEntity methods included in the final created session EJB.

Thank you for your reply. But I am still not sure how to use the persist and merge methods from EntityManager. Either I want in the session EJB creation wizard to have persistEntity and mergeEntity to appear under "Core Facade methods", or I want to add these methods in the generated bean java file. I tried the latter by adding these two methods in the bean file, but I got an exception at runtime.
Please privide some more information. Thank you very much.

Inbound delivery - Error when creating document flow for delivery #########

Hello all:
When attempting to PGI an inbound delivery (via VL06I - For Goods receipt - select inbound delivery - click Post Goods Receipt) I received error messgae VL 659:
Diagnosis
As the system was recording the document flow for the goods movement, it determined that the subsequent document number is either blank or identical to the number of the preceding document.
System response
In order to avoid inconsistencies, the goods movement posting was cancelled.
All WMS transfer orders tied to this inbound delivery are complete. This hasn't happened with any other delivery. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

I would suggest you to go trough OSS notes using the error message number as search key (e.g. 352243, 645119, 197864).
If you fail to find any maybe it would be worth of contacting SAP AG.

Why is "Timecode" not available as an Angle Sync method when creating a Multicam Clip?

I shoot on three cameras in XDCAM HD1080i60.
They all have jammed timecode.
I import (through XDCAM transfer, and then import the files through FCP X)
I assign camera angles (1, 2 and 3) to the clips
I attempt to make a multicam clip and use timecode as a sync method.
I see this:
Can't select timecode. What's the deal?
Everything is up to date. Everything is local (though it was captured to a shared fiber drive and then copied to my iMac.) The clips all have the correct timecode embedded.

Don't know. It appears for me. Are all the clips using the same kind of timecode.

Validating tax number when creating BP

Hello,
i've implemented BADI BUPA_TAX_UPDATE.
Inside it's method, when creating a partner, I can read BP guid and using FM BUPA_NUMBERS_GET I can retrieve some info on this BP from the buffer.
My requirement is to validate wether or not the tax number has been filled.
The problem is I can't find a FM that would return the tax number info that has been saved in buffer.
Tried a lot of different FM's that read a tax number for a BP, but none of them return the tax number that i've filled right before saving the BP.
Any other approach i should consider?

After getting the business partner number with FM BUPA_NUMBERS_GET, just use FM BUPA_TAX_GET_DETAIL to get the tax number desired.

virtual-classroom training
These trainings are are done using virtual classroom tools.Connection to the virtual classroom environment has to be setup. It is time-dependent but not location-dependent.
web-based training
This comprises of e-learning content which can be used in a self paced manner by the learner. The course content is stored on a content management server. At the course type level, the learning net id of this content is attached. It is not time- dependent and also not location-dependent
on-line testing
You use this for creating and designing a test that is stored in an internal content management system. It is not time-dependent and not location-dependent.
static web-based training
In this delivery method a static URL is provided to the learner that takes him to a web-page or some other similar source for learning. Not time-dpendent and not location-dependent as well.
class web-based training
It is same as e-learning but is delivered to learners is a classroom environment. It is both time-dependent and location-dependent.

When creating Outbound Delivery, how does SAP propose Delivery Type?

in VL01N, when i create an outbound delivery i can create it with reference to an SO or without reference to an SO.
But how does SAP know the delivery type to use?
I don't know where to really look.
in SPRO i went to:
Logistics Execution ---> Shipping --> Deliveries
but all i saw was delivery type definition.
then i went down the path:
LE --> Shipping --> Copy Control --> Specify Copy Control for Deliveries
then i found a table linking Sales Order Types and Delivery Types.
However, we use SO doc. type Z*** for example but I see that there are multiple entries for it linking to various delivery types including LF and another custom Z*** delivery type.
My question is, how is the system choosing which delivery type to use?
Is it maintained in customer master or at config level?

Hi Gavin,
If you check VOV8 for example standard order (OR), the delivery type is LF. Here you can define only delivery type person SO. Hence you will not find SO to LF relation as 1:N but will surely find N:1.
Item category just defines the billing relevance of the item. Hence if billing is delivery related then delivery will be created for the item.
Now once order is created when tried to deliver, it will know that LF is the delivery type from VOV8 and from item it will know he should deliver it or not.

Training & Event Management Course type ** could not be created Message no. LSO033

Dear Gurus;
I'm trying to record a Business Event Group through S_AHR_61011889 - Business Event Group , then a Business Event Type through S_AHR_61011888 - Business Event Type.
Actually when I'm recording the data of the Business Event Type then I save i get a message stating
Course type **** could not be created
Message no. LSO033
to be able to save the event type I have just to record its name and the capacity then after saving I have to select change "F6" and record each data infotype separately, something which is not logical for the users.
Even when they make change and record the remaining Infotypes like the description then they select display what they've recorded doesn't come
Does anyone know how can I fix this?
