Delivery qty should not exceede Sales order qty

Dera Friends,
System is allowing to create delivery for a higher quantity than in sales order. For eg. The sales order is created for 10 pieces and delivery is created for 20 pieces.
We want to have a check on this. Pls guide where we can configure this. Our requiremnt is that Delivery qty should not exceede the sales order qty.

  • Delivery Qty. should not Exceed the PO Qty.

    Hi All
My requirement is that just like Sales Order, incase of STO the delivery Quantity (delivery creayed through VL04) should not exceed the Balance Quantity PO quantity (where PO Quantity less Already delivered Qty = Balance Qty). Is there any standard customisation or Exit is available for this??
    Regards
    AA

    Dear AA
I have searched in MM forum and found this thread which is relevant to your requirement
Forum post in ERP - Logistics Materials Management (MM): STO - How to control Over delivery ?
STO - How to control Over delivery ?
    Hope this helps you
SAP has a logic for not controlling the over delivery in STO  in standard (unlike sales order  to delivery we have the controls in Zero VLP or 0VLP for this) because STO happens between plants of a same company code or different company codes .The movement of stocks are between plants But in a normal sales the delivery happens to a customer who is actually a third person and hence a user can misuse the delivery quantity
A plant and an external customer cannot be treated as same
Hence in SAP standards over delivery is not controlled in standard settings like item category etc

  • Delivery quantity should not exceed order quantity

    Hi,
in delivery delivery quantity should not exceed order quantity what should i do
please let me now what should i do it is urgent
    Thanks in advance
    Srinivas

    Hi,
You may consider an enhancement with a user exit:FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in include MV50AFZ1.
Here you can put additional conditions to check the delivery qty and also can put a message for the user to correct the delivery qty in case he has manully increased it.
Please reward points if this helps.

  • Delivery quantity should not exceed order or confirm quantity

    Dear Friends,
How to handle a below scenario,
Sales order is for 100 Tons.Partial delivery is allowed.
Now delivery quantity should be equal to 100 Tons.Delivery quantity should not exceed order quantity.
I mean delivery quantity must be equal to order quantity.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Shrikant

    Dear Ram/Ramnath,
I have maintained the B for Check Overdelivery.Transaction code used is 0vlp.Item catg is TAN
    Check Quantity 0 is A
    Check Minimum Quantity is A
Now I ahve created a Sales Order for 10 Tons.
Created two delivery notes of 4 tons and 8 tons respectively.
While creating second delivery for 8 tons I do not get any error message.
Transaction code VOV7.Here completion rule is blank as it is relevant for Quotation and contracts.
Is there anything need to do?
    Thanks in advance.

  • System should Not copy sales order header text

    Hi all,
My requirement is system should not copy sales order header text while copying sales order to sales order with same order type.
for example i have order type OR - standard type with 500 line items with reference to that same sales order we are creating another order with same line 500 line items, but requirement is system should not copy source document header text in to target document header text,
Do you have any standard functionality to avoid this or we need to go exit
    Regards
    Nishad

    Hi,
You can do it via standard SAP configuration.
    Transaction VOTXN.
In the access sequence you have the corresponding Text ID added with "Text Object" VBBK. That's the reason why you are copying text.
    Change the entry.
Check below link on how exactly to do that. This doc says about how to copy customer text to the sales order. But procedure is same for you as well. Just the object is different.
    [Text type config|http://learnsaptips.blogspot.com/2010/09/text-type-configuration-in-sap.html]
    Hope it helps!

  • Return Order Qty should not exceed Reference Qty

    Hi
The Qty of Ref Billing document is say 10, Return order is done for eg 8 for first time and for same ref document user enters 5 qty, now the total return order qty is 13, but billing doc qty is 10, where in 3qty is exceeded and system just gives a warning message and allows further. In this case how can we Restrict Return order if Qty it exceeded the reference document qty.
I have checked the copy control settings, no use. Please through some Light.
    Regards
    Praveen Kumar......

    Hi
But the problem is, now we have done return sales referring and billing doc qty eg. 10.
Now again if we do return order referring the same billing document,
system will allow to do another Return sales for same 10qty
Is there any where we can control this feature.
Maintain the copy control settings as suggested by the other friends
    Mainly Pos/Neg field
While creating the second return order (sales order) referring the already referred billing document system should give some warning message
    Check that message in OVAH
I feel some warning msg should come which you have to change to error
Unfortunately i am not in a position to test this
Still if the problem is not solved you need to go for suitable userexit
Normally when you create Returns sales order with reference billing doc in that sales order if you add a new line item which was originally not there in billing doc system will very cooly accept it (not even warning message)
This also has to controlled thro userexit ( this part is not related to your issue but i said this as an information)

  • GRPO Qty should not exceed +/- 10% of Purchase Order

  • Requirement : delivery Quantity should be same as Order Qty

The person entering the delivery qty shuold not be able to change the qty as entered in Sales order. how do we keep this control?

    Dear Ms Naik,
Perhaps, it is currently beyond the scope of standard SD customising.
    You may explore the following:-
Verify the delivery quantity during both creation and change, by  comparing this with the order quantity, by using the user exit for delivery processing MV50AFZ1.
Preferably LFPMG is zero on saving.
It may be meaningful to consider the following addition setting for the order item category.
Set the completion rule to 'A' - mostly to safeguard an exploratory user from increasing the order quantity.
    Trust this helps you.
    Regards,
    K Gopidas.

  • Order QTY should not exceed than reference document

    Dear Gurus,
I am creating a Release order with reference to Contract. Ex. order qty is 100 in Contract, while doing sale order it should not allow to change the order qty more than 100 [not more than Ref. document qty]. I have tried in VTAA, completion rule.. but it still allows.

  • GR qty should not exceed GI qty for an order.

    Dear All,
GR for an Prodn order should be restrictected if the Qty exceeds the GI qty done against the order.
Eg.The target qty for a production order is 100 MT.The GI is done for 80 MT(261),the system should allow MB31(101)only upto 80 MT not more than that against the order.
Please suggest how can I map this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Ankush

    Dear Ankush,
in Std SAP allows Confirmation without GI
Also Allows GR without GI & confirmation
so best option is user exit

  • Purchase Order quantity must not Exceed Sales Order quantity

    Dear Experts
My requirement is when i am creating PO in me21n and taking Document type as Domestic PO and giving account assignmnet as "C" Sales Order, must have to enter Material and quantity and must have to Give Sales Order number and item no in account assignmnet tab , the quantity i am entering in PO must not exceed my Sales Order quantity that is my requirement.
    Regards
    Abi

    Hi,
You do not create a PO with reference to sales order. In PO you enter sales order number for reference. A purchase requsition can be created directly from Sales order or through MRP depending on the system settings. Then this PR can be converted to PO. here you can restrict the quantity. As in order to change the quantity in PR also you will have to change the quantity in sales order.

  • PO should not exceed Internal Order Value ( Check Required )

    Hi experts,
Ideally PO should not be made for more value than the sanctioned amount raised through  Internal Order no ( KO01).
But we find that users are creating PO for more value than the sannctioned value in internal order no.
Check is required .  Pl. suggest how it can achieved.
    Regards,
    ( Rajneesh Gulati )

    Hi,
    In SPRO
    Controlling>Internal Orders>Budgeting and Availability Control-->Maintain Budget Profile
Maintain Budget profile and assign  to the order type.(Controlling>Internal Orders>Order Master Data-->Define Order Types)
    Maintain Tolerances in below path.
Controlling>Internal Orders>Budgeting and Availability Control-->Define Tolerance Limits for Availability Control
You can maintain the tolerance limits with which in PO, you can give error or warning message when the value exceeds.

  • User should not delete Sales orders in CRM before May 2014.

    Hi,
We have  requirement in CRM i.e. user cannot delete Sales orders before may 2014 in SAP CRM.
Recently we have implemented Credit Check management in ECC (Cash n Carry Process especially for some customers)
Normally we do create orders in CRM it should be replicated to ECC, based on FD32 credit value in ECC, CRM  order should give credit check massage.
go through the below notes n help us where to change BADI in CRM, plz.
We like to add a scenario where prior to April’14 period, user can not cancel/delete any order in CRM, so that the order cancellation data will not flow to SAP and below problem can be resolved.
While checking the credit Exposure of the INDL Customers, we found in some cases, user has deleted few old orders in CRM which creates a open sales order value as Negative in SAP System. Due to this for a customer, if there is ZERO credit limit, ZERO outstanding, ZERO liability, Credit Exposure is become Negative as open order value is there. In CRM order is being raised and credit block is not appearing if the order amount is below the Credit exposure.
Request you pls maintain the open Sales order value as ZERO for the INC customers (as per attachment list) for those who have a NEGATIVE open sales order value.
For the open Sales order Value which are POSITIVE, keep these as same as these are customer’s actual & current open orders.
NOTE: If user delete before may 2014 sales orders, all the deleted order values will be added to FD32 (Credit exposure -Negative),then user can able to raise sales orders for that value also.(It cannot be happened)
    Regards,
    JK

    Hello JK,
I guess you can play around with the standard. You need to create a separate PFCG Role which only contains sales order related authorization object. Basically removing sales order related authorization object from the main primary PFCG role. And then controlling the secondary PFCG Role which only have sales order object. Controlling sales order PFCG role with validity period. Below is the screen shot of the PFCG role where you can maintain the validity period of the PFCG role for the specific user assigned to it.
I hope this solution was helpful for you!

  • Delivery date does not match sales orders  proposed delivery date

when i create sales order the requested delivery date by default is todays date and if nobody changes it, it will stay the same even after i save the order but the acutal delivery date is diffrent in the sales document or delivery document
can anyone please throw some light on it
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Raj,
Req D Date is the date on which teh custoemr wants the goods to be delivered. But it wont be possible always. So there will be an availability check on the stock of that material and based on the availability and transportation lead times, the possible delivery date will be determined and populated at the schedule line level of the document.
    Hope this clarifies your doubt.
    Reward if this helps.

When it comes to service you need to make message number 438 and application area SE error in the below config
