Delivery Related Billing rather than Order Related Billing in Return Sales

Hi
There is a requirement from the client that the Returns Invoice (RE) generated must be related to LR Delivery Type rather than Return Sales Order Type(RE).
I have maintained the Copy Control from LR (Returns Delivery Type) to RE(Returns Invoice Type).
Then Changed the billing relevance of REN (Item Category ) from - 'B' Relevant for order-related billing - status acc.to order qty
to A     Delivery-related billing document.
When i create the Returns Invoice, it is allowing me to create the Invoice even before the Post Goods Receipt of the LR Returns Delivery Document.
It should allow me to create the invoice only after Post Goods Receipt.
Can any one share their inputs.

  • Can I download Snow leopard/Lion rather than order hard copy delivery?  Not finding in iTunes nor on apple website..

I currently have Mac OSx and looking to upgrade to Lion (sounds like I need to go through Snow Leopard upgrade first).  Is there an easy way to simply download these upgrades rather than order via the mail?  Any way to avoid updgrading two separate times and have the ability to go direct to the Lion upgrade?
    Thanks!

You cannot download Snow Leopard. You have to buy it on disk.
Once you've installed that, and updated it to 10.6.8, you can download Lion from the App Store.
Apple also sells Lion on a USB stick, but I don't know if it is possible to install that on a disk with just Leopard.
Also, make sure your MacBook can run Lion: http://www.apple.com/macosx/specs.html

  • If I purchase lightroom but want to install on both a pc and a mac is that possible from just a download version rather than ordering a disc?

Yes, a single serial number can be used to install on two computers and one can be a PC and one a Mac.   The download will be a different installer for each platform but the serial number should activate both.

  • Billing experts: Combining order related and deliv. related

    Hello Billing experts,
I am just wondering if it is possible at all to combine order related and delivery related to ONE billing document (one DMR and one delivery note with the same payer).
Or do we have to use Invoice List? I can't make it work.
Same payer, same Payment Terms and different pricing procedures(with RL00). What other fields that must have identical values, so the billing documents will be grouped in the invoice list?
    Thanks alot in advance!
    Best Regards,
    Tuan Vo

    Hi Tuan Vo
Since there are many other criteria, its not a viable Solution to combine, order related and delivery related to one billing document even though its possible in SAP.
The following prerequisites must be met for a Single Invoice from Delivers and/or orders:
    1) the header data appearing in the billing document must agree
    2) the split conditions specified do not apply
As you see, the Delivery related Invoice has always a pre-checking with the Goods Issue status where as Order related doesn't have to.
Hence Invoice lists is the option given by SAP.
However, with an intelligent Copy Control routines between the documents should do the trick.
The system combines documents with the same customer number, proposal billing type and sales organization, and attempts to include them all in the same billing document. If the preconditions are met, then a single invoice is created for the deliveries and/or orders.
Note that When creating several billing documents, user exits can be used to reset the header data, so that more can be combined than in the billing due list and later combine to single document.
There are other fields like Material Group, Billing Dates, Billing Document Type, Item categories which can force for an Invoice split.
Please let me know if it helps.

  • Automatic determination of billing date on order related billing

    Dear all,
    Some background:
We are using resource related billing: create standing sales order with WBS as reference.
Costs are posted to the WBS (serves as a bucket to collect costs).
Whenever needed, the costs on the WBS are billed. This is done via transaction DP91, creating a billing request for the standing sales order which generates a new sales order which takes the amount from the WBS element. This sales order can then be billed.
In other words: Each period, the standing sales order can be billed (based on the WBS element it contains) in a new sales order.
    Problem:
The billing date is derived from the 'requested delivery date' on the sales order.
We would like to have by default proposed by the system as billing date: the date when the (2nd) sales order and/or billing document is generated. So either date of billing should be the billing date or the requested delivery date (which will then automatically determine the billing date)
    How can this be achieved?
    What I tried:
1). I have ticket the flag "Propose delivery date", but this doesn't seem to be the solution.
2). Factory calender is only to be used in case a specific date should be used (e.g. last day of the week/month). I don't think we need this, as we could just go for "todays date" during (2nd) sales order/billing document creation.
3). I checked the copy control properties, but this is not really an option I think.
    Many thanks!

    HI, Boiler
I suggest you to check the copy control again.
As I known, there is a Routin setting for data transfer (Data VBRK/VBRP) in the item level. And you can use standard routin 11 means Bill. date= Today.
    Hope it can help you.

  • Third party process:Billing relevance 'B' order related and 122

I am facing the following problem: in Order related Billing according to order qty, the sales order bills what has been received on the third party PO in MM.
The following situation occurs: When I order 100, receive 100 and Bill 100: The sales order is fully billed. When I later return a quantity to the vendor in MM with a 122 referring to the PO, the sales order remains fully billed. There is no way I can find out which Sales order needs to be take action on (credit). Can someone help me finding out how I can select these sales orers after a 122?

    Ok, no problem.
At the client we have a very specific flow where receipts on a third party PO need to be billed daily when they happen and every receipt (better: any goods movement) needs a seperate billing document.
This is not covered in SAP standard. I wrote a program (functional) how SAP should find the billing relevant movements:
    1) Go to the billing due list daily at 0:00
    2) Check all related third party PO's and the movements
    3) Check the sales flow of the relevant SO. Check which material doc has been billed (via reference field in the billing doc)
    4) For all items not yet billed call function module GN_INVOICE_CREATE. (bill in case of 101 and 123 and credit in case of 102 and 122)
This works all fine until I found above issue: Fully billed items are removed from the billing due list even if there is a 122 or 102 afterwards on the PO. So I redesigned the program.
    1) at 0:00 Select all movements on the system date for the specific flow (PO type and plant) via Material documet header and segment.
    2) Via the account assignment in the material doc you have the Sales order. Then the same applies:
    3) Check the sales flow of the relevant SO. Check which material doc has been billed (via reference field in the billing doc)
    4) For all items not yet billed call function module GN_INVOICE_CREATE. (bill in case of 101 and 123 and credit in case of 102 and 122)
Here I am not using the due list and it solved my problem.

  • Different sales office in billing rather than the sales office in contract

    Hi,
I have a servive contract creted for Rs. 1000/-. I have periodic billing activated in contract. When I create a billing document I have to create it for different sales office. It means my service contract have sale office X and my bill should have sales office like Y in one billing and Z in another billing.
Please suggest how to get this done ?
    Thanks,
    Ashok S

    Hi friends,
    thanks for your inputs..
I need this in the scenario mentioned below.
We have a scenario for service contracts.. Company X entered into a services contract with customer A.  Both the company and customer have offices round the country.  In a month when I am doing the periodic billing my company X knows that only 2 offices of the company have participated in providing the services to the customer at the respective locations.. It means that customer didn't get any problem in other locations.
In the above mentioned case I wanted to segregate the bill amount to only to the 2 sales offices who have really performed the service. So that in a year ,company X wanted to know that how many sales offices involved in providing service to the customers and also in what ratio..
    Thanks,

  • Error in VL01N(Delivery qty is greater than target qty while taking return)

    Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem "Delivery Quantity is greater than the target quantity" while doing the inbound delivery from VL01N t-code for sales returns with reference to return order.
I am trying to do the inbound delivery for the same Quantity which is in return order but still it is showing error.
I have checked my configuration and could not find any mistake under this process. I am not able to identify the error. In my delivery item category we have put "B" under over delivery check which is our business requirement.
If I remove "B" from delivery item category, i am not getting any error in inbound delivery but which is not right way of doing.
I could not find suitable query in SDN. Can any one please share your expertise to solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards
    Srinivas

You have to check the following:-
    a)  whether for that return delivery, picking is not activated
    b)  whether customer master or material master is maintained for over delivery tolerance
    c)  whether in VD51, any overdelivery tolerance is maintained
You can also have a look at the following notes:-
    1)  Note 151901 - Check of delivery quantity is consistent
    2)  Note 322588 - VLSP:incor.checks for qty to be delvrd during split

  • Order Status for partial return sales order

    Dear All,
I am facing an issue at my client for which I am unable to find an appropriate reason.
We have done a complete Sales order cycle: S.Ord - Delivery and Invoice (100qty). Now the customer returns a certain part of materials delivered (say 30qty). We are creating a sales order for this 30qty and creating a delivery (for 30qty) and credit memo.
The problem here is that the status of returns delivery and credit memo is closed but the status of this returns order is shown as being processed and also is reflected in open orders report.
Can anyone please suggest why this is shown as being processed and not as closed despite the returns order being fully delivered and invoiced?
Note: the Completion rule for Item category of my returns order is set to B-Item is completed after full quantity has been referenced. Is it because of this? What would be the implications if I make this blank? Any other suggestions too would be highly appreciated
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rohan Gudavalli

This is b'coz, you create Credit memo with reference to Return Order (sales order), not from return delivery.
Further, if you check the standard copying control for VTFL ( Source: LR & Target: G2), you will not find config for this.
In standard, we have standard Billing doc type for this, that is RE - Credit for Returns (VOFA order-related billing VTFA).
So your standard process flow can be.
    RE (Return Order)
    -> LR (Return Delivery)
    -> RE (Credit for Returns)
FYI, you can refer routine 2 - Ord-rel.credit memo from VOFM - Data transfer - Billing Document.
And that is the reason, why it is recommended to take Sales order as reference, instead of invoice.
Also, refer/check copying control config for VTFA for Return Order - RE to Credit for Returns - RE for Item category REN

  • Urgent: How to copy multiple sales order items into a return sales order?

    Dear developers,
I have a requirement to copy multiple sales order items into a single return sales order. For example, generated return sales order have 2 items, item 10 is created with reference to sales item 2610/10 and item 20 is created with reference to sales item 2611/20. What's more, when it happens, copy control should be taken care of. I know it is possible to create this kind of order by transaction. But how to do it in coding?
In current SAP release, there is only BAPI for creating with reference on 1:1 relationship which means copy one document to another but what I need is N:1 copy.
    Any suggestion is high appreciated!!
    BR,
    Tony.

    Hi ,
If you are creating sales order by using bapi then after calling bapi you can check import parameter <i><b>SALESDOCUMENT</b></i> in the bapi function module .If this parameter is not initial then sales order is created in this case you can create return order. If this import parameter is initial then sales order is not created and you cannot use return bapi function module.
Bapi is simple method than BDC.
In above case it is required to call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after every successful sales order creation.
One more important point is you have to clear import parameter <i><b>SALESDOCUMENT</b></i>  before calling sales order creation function module.
    Thanks,
    shyla

  • Is there any way to get iMessage to display the absolute date rather than the relative date of a text message?

Sometimes I need to document when a text message exchange occurred and taking a screen capture is a nice and efficient way of doing this.  However, since iOS7, iMessage has used relative dates for recent text messages and will simply say "Today 1:31 PM" when I would prefer it if it said, "Wed, Nov 12, 1:31 PM".  I can reasonably figure out whether November 11 was "Yesterday" if need be.

    No.

    Dear experts,
How to come to know wheather v need order related or delivery related billing for certain slaes document.
    thx

    Dear Praveen,
    Order-related-Billing
Scenerios like - Invoices, Credit Memo, Cash Sales, Returns (Standard SAP), Third-Party Sales; are covered under Order-related-Billing.
In short, when there is no physical movement of Goods take place from Plant, we configure Order-related-Billing.

    T. Code: VTFA
    Delivery-related-Billing
Scenerios like - Invoices, Credit Memo, Rush Order; are covered under Order-related-Billing.
In short, in which the material is physically delivered from Plant.
Standard Order Related Billing Type is F2.
The standard copy control settings Between Delivery type LF and Billing type F2 in T. Code: VTFL.
    There are some more settings:
    1. T. Code: VOV8
Select your Sales doc. type, say OR; and double-click.
In next page, under Tab: Shipping --> Field: Delivery Type.
Maintain your Delivery Type as "LF", if you want Deliver your sales order; else leave the field as BLANK.
On to the same page, Tab: Billing --> Filed: Dlv-rel.billing type
    Maintain entry as F2, if you wish your Billing based upon Delivery (if you are maintaining this billing-condition, must maintain entery in Tab: Shipping --> Field: Delivery Type.);
    ELSE
Tab: Billing --> Filed: Ord-rel.billing type
Maintain entry as F1, if you wish your Billing based upon Sales Order (if you are maintaining this billing-condition, don't maintain any entery in Tab: Shipping --> Field: Delivery Type.)

  • Order related & delivery related billing

    Hi all,
I have a scenario which is explained as under:
In the sales order i have the following line items:
    1. ATM machine - 1 qty. This will be a stock item.
    2. ATM installation - 1 qty. This will be a service item so non-stock item.
    3. Cables - 500 Mts. This will be a stock item.
    4. Cables Installation - 1 qty. This will be a service item so non-stock item.
Now I have a project sales scenario (no PS configuration) & suppose the total order value is 1000 USD. Now the client wants to create 3 different invoices. The payment scenario will be
    1. 50% after order confirmation. Once the sales order is confirmed, then an invoice should be generated from the system with a value of 500 USD. For this particular invoice the payment term will be "within net 7 days".
    2. 40% after the delivery has been done. An invoice to be generated from the system with a value of 400 USD. For this particular invoice the payment term will be "within net 15 days".
    3. 10% after installation, commissioning & testing. An invoice to be generated from the system with a value of 100 USD. For this particular invoice the payment term will be "within net 7 days".
    Proposed Solution:
2 different document types will be used - one for normal sale & the other one for project sales scenario. For normal stock items the item category is TAN & the billing relevance for this is "A-delivery related billing". Also for service items it is TAX with billing relevance as "B - Relevant for order-related billing - status acc.to order qty".
I will create a new item category as ZTAN & ZTAX for the stock items & service items. I will use billing relevance as "I - Order-relevant billing - billing plan" & use milestone billling.
In the milestone billing, I will create 3 different milestones -
    1. Order Confirmation - amount 50%
    2. Delivery Completion - 40%
    3. Installation & testing - 10%
So whenever i will use the project sales order type I will create direct invoices with reference to the sales order through the billing plan...........for my normal sales order it will be delivery related billing for the same items.
    Is my solution correct?
    My Doubts:
    1. If i create order related billing for stock items then will there be any effect on the delivery & PGI. Will the system again allow to create the invoice with reference to the delivery?
    With best regards,
    Niyaz.

    hello, friend.
    re:  your doubts...
your materials will still require delivery and PGI.  copy controls will be such that your document flow will be updated once these are done.
however, since your billing will be order related, delivery and PGI will not be pre-requisites for billing.
    regards.

  • Whast is order related billing and delivery related billing?

Explain about order related billing and delivery related billing
    thanks

    hi,
    just to add,
In Customizing for the item category at VOV7, you can determine the basis for billing using the indicator <b>Billing relevance</b>.
This allows you to carry out the following controls:
A: Relevant for delivery-related billing documents
Outbound delivery is the basis for billing. The billing document status is only updated in the outbound delivery.
B: Relevant for order-related billing documents
The sales document is the basis for billing. The billing status is defined by the required quantity.
In the standard system the item categories REN (returns) and BVN (cash sales) are set up in this way.
So depending upon the billing documents configured to the sales document for order and delivery related billing, would be triggered based on the item category setting for billing relevance.
    Pl reward if it helps.
    Thanks
    Sadhu Kishore
