Delivery schedule in PO splits in uotbound delivery

Hi,
Our client has a process of entering delivery  schedule lines in PO.
Even though all have same delivery dates, in out bound delivery it gets splits into delivery items. They are not clubbing into single delivery item.
If I enter any past or current date it gets clubbed into single delivery item.
Why this is happening.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm afraid it doesn't work in standard SAP. You created the PO-schedule lines manually...MRP won't modify them... Just my opinion.
You'd better apply to scheduling agreement that is designd for this very purpose.

  • Planning delivery schedule , forecast delivery schedule , JIT delivery sche

    Hi
could any one tell me the difference  between Planning delivery schedule , forecast delivery schedule , JIT delivery schedule & their respective ways of processing delivery???????????????????????????????????????????????/

    Hello Friend,
    Planning Delivery Schedule:
You want to plan requirements for a certain customer for the next 16 weeks. You create a planning delivery schedule on the basis of information that you have gathered in an internal planning system. A few days later, the customer sends you a forecast delivery schedule that covers only 12 weeks. You decide to generate a planning delivery schedule by copying the schedule lines from the forecast delivery schedule for those 12 weeks, splitting them into units and days that fit your production schedule. For the remaining four weeks that you require, you simply adopt schedule lines from the previous planning delivery schedule in the scheduling agreement.
For another customer, you create a six-week planning delivery schedule on the basis of internal data. When the customer sends in a forecast delivery schedule for the same six weeks, you notice that the first four weeks of schedule lines in the customer delivery schedule are detailed enough for production, but the last two are inaccurate. You decide to copy the first four weeks of schedule lines unchanged into the new planning delivery schedule. You adopt the remaining two weeks of schedule lines from the previous planning delivery schedule, which already exists in the scheduling agreement.
    Forecast Delivery Schedule:
For an SD scheduling agreement, a customer sends a forecast delivery schedule containing requests for individual schedule lines. On the SD side, a delivery can be created automatically from this.
    JIT Delivery Schedule:
A release carried out at an exact point in time of quantities in a schedule line (of a delivery schedule).
The JIT delivery schedule is way of fine tuning production for the customer and shipping for the vendor.
The term is used predominantly in the automobile component supplier industry.
Delivery in Forecast in done through VL10 & VL01N and Delivery through JIT is done from JITK.

  • Forecast delivery schedule lines consumption

    Hi,
I cannot fully understand what is the logic behind the consumption of the forecast delivery schedule lines. This is how the problem can be exactly defined:
    - scheduling agreement with delivery orders (LZM)
    - JIT delivery schedules are not used and no delivery schedule is maintained... just a forecast delivery schedule
    - the whole process is manual, there is no EDI implied
    - the cumulative received quantity is updated by an ABAP development that is triggered at delivery goods issue
The rest, happens normal - forecast schedule lines are updated weekly, the customer send pick-up sheets, a TAM delivery order is created, then delivery, GI...
The problem: not always the MRP requirements generated by the forecast delivery schedule lines are consumed by the delivery order/GI. If the delivery orders / deliveries are made on the exact quantity of the schedule lines everything works fine. It is also ok when there are two successive delivery orders with a cumulative quantity that matches exactly the forecast line. As soon as a over-delivery is made, everything turns upside-down: older delivered schedule lines appear again in planning as if nothing was delivered until now...
I suspect that the problem is related to the fact that the whole process is manual and updating the cumulative received quantity is not the only parameter that is counting... is it so? Or the forecast delivery schedule has to be respected 100% in terms of quantities and timing?
I would really appreciate your help.

    H.

Also please clarify whether delivery schedule lines in ME38 (even it is created automatically), in Planning time fence, will get affected by MRP run.

  • Scheduling agreement, unnecessary delivery schedule lines

    Hello
We use Scheduling agreements for purchasing spare parts. The MRP run checks the warehouse requirements and creates delivery schedule line to scheduling agreement.
Now the MRP run creates unnecessary delivery schedule lines to scheduling agreement if the earlier created delivery schedule line's delivery date has been changed manually.
    For example,
Today the MRP run finds requirement for one article  and creates the delivery schedule line, where delivery date is 2.9.2008 (determined from articles basic data).
The Vendor confirms the delivery date as 3.10.2008 and the purchaser changes manually  (transaction ME38) the delivery date to delivery schedule line accordingly and prints the created message.
The next MRP run creates new delivery schedule line, where delivery date is again 2.9.2008.
now there are two open delivery schedule lines for this article with delivery dates 3.10.2008 and 2.9.2008.
Why the MRP run does not notice the existing delivery schedule line with the new delivery date 3.10.2008?
we have changed delivery dates manually several years and this has never happened before.
could you please help me to resolve this.
    Thanks in advance,
    Srikanth

In addition to the above post,
as you changed the date manually from 2nd to 3rd....
so there are was no report for 2nd generated ulitmately...and if generated it was changed...right...
so when you again run the mrp...the system will generate one more pr for the same article....
this ultimately happens because of the set del dates in the MMR as i told above..
    Hope it helps..

  • Scheduling Agreement Delivery Schedule Line Remains When Fully Delivered

    Hi Experts!
I had an issue regarding our scheduling agreements. Issue is below:
Our delivery schedule lines remain on the delivery schedule list item detail screen (VA32 or VA33), even though the delivery has been delivered and completed. The only way this seems to disappear is when a new schedule line is loaded. Why do the old delivery schedule lines remain on the JIT delivery schedule list even though they have been fully delivered and completed?
This is an urgent matter. Any responses will be greatly appreciated and points. Thank you for your time!!
    Best Regards,
    WC

    Hi Shravan,
Thanks for answering, I checked those two tables EKEH, EKEK are release tables. We have some SAs without release documentation. I have to find the delivery schedules using the GR document to which delivery schedules the qty it is delivering.
It is not posting the qty from top of schedules, for some SAs it posted randomly.
Any other ideas or any function modules,
In BW it is possible using extractor but we need in R/3
    Thanks,

  • Delivery Schedule for Samples

    Hi All,,
Samples are sold over a delivery schedule.
i.e Can we have delivery schedules for Samples.
    with regards

First of all, I am not sure how you do you differentiate normal sales from sample sales.  In normal circumstances, either we differentiate by document type or item category.
Moreover, I am not clear on your comments
Samples are sold over a delivery schedule
What do you mean by delivery schedule ??  Do you mean scehdule line date in sale order ??
    thanks

  • Delivery schedule absent in Service related PO

    Dear all
We have buget allocation for every month,so we need delivery schedule in PO,But in service PO there is no delivery schedule, even if it is there it is not allowing to enter the quantity, can any one suggest for suitable solution for the above with out adding line item in PO item level.
    regards
    M.Chandra mohan

    Hi Chandra,
In service PO at line item level the QTY will always be 1 by default
You maintain the service QTY below item level i.e.service level with UOM as
    Hrs,days etc
Hence you can not change QTY at line item level in delivery schedule however you
    can change the delivery date
    Hope its clear to you

  • Delivery date in Delivery Schedules

    Dear Experts,
We run MRP in MD02 to gerenarate delivery schedule lines.
How the delivery date in delivery schedule is calculated?
Is it possible to setup so that irrespective of MRP run date, all delivery dates should be Monday OR Friday in Delivery Schedules?
Awaiting a reply from the experts.
    Regards,
    Shahsidhar

    Dear Experts,
The purpose here is to consolidate all deliveries on one day.
When MRP is run, delivery schedules lines should be created with delivery dates as only Monday/Wednesday.
How can we achieve this? Any suggestions are welcome

  • Difference between Scheduling lines and Delivery schedule

    Hi SD Experts
can u say me the clear difference between Scheduling lines and Delivery schedule.
where we will maintain deliver schedule. whether delivery schedule is automatically created along scheduling agreements..
    with regards
    James

    Hi James,
Schedule Lines: Has basically information realted to delivery scheduling in Sales Order level.
Delivery Scheduling: Is a process using which system will determine what are the different activities which need to be performed and time taken for each activitiy only after which the material can be delivered to the customer.
Delievry scheduling will be started only from the material availability date i.e., system will first determine the material avail date and then do scheduling. By default Standard SAP system does Backward Scheduling in case material availability falls beyond the required delivery date system will do forward schedluing
Delivery Scheduling consists of the following Basic activities:
We give deatils while creating order:
    Order Creation Date
    Required Delivery Date
Order date - Material availability date - Transportation Planning Date - Loading date - Goods Issue Date - Required Delivery Date
Time Between GI Date and required Delivery Date is called Transit Time
Time Between LoadingDate and GI Date is called Loading time
Time Between Material Availability Date and Loading Date consists of 2 components - Pick / PackTime and Transportation Planning Time
System has to calculate all this before it determines the confirmed delivery date.
Give your mail Id I have some Presentation I will send you across.
    REWARD POINTS IF IT HELPS

  • Is it possible to add new delivery schedule with bapi_change_po?

    Hi all,
We're able to update PO existing line item and delivery schedule date with BAPI_CHANGE_PO. However we can't find any way to add new delivery date (under delivery schedule tab, in PO) for multiple delivery schedule scenario.
please advise is it to do so with BAPI_CHANGE_PO or we should try other approach to do it. Thanks.

Use the BAPI "BAPI_PO_CHANGE".  New delivery schedule information can be filled in the structures POSCHEDULE & POSCHEDULEX.
    poschedule-po_item = <item_number>
    poschedule-sched_line = <new schedule Line>.
    poschedule-delivery_date = <delivery_date>.
    poschedule-quantity = <schedule quantity>.
    append poschedule.
    poschedulex-po_item = <item_number>
    poschedulex-sched_line = <new schedule Line>.
    poschedulex-po_itemx = 'X'.
    poschedulex-sched_linex = 'X'.
    poschedule-delivery_date = 'X'.
    poschedule-quantity = 'X'.
    append poschedulex.

  • Making delivery date catagory in delivery schedule as week in Sch. agreemen

    Dear MM gurus,
I am creating automatic delivery schedules in scheduling agreement via MRP run and i am using standard weekly lot sizing procedure. Delivery schedule so created  have 'D' as delivery date category. My requirement is to create schedule via MRP with delivery date category as 'W'. Kindly tell me where can i default delivery date category in delivery schedule lines to week (W). Please post of more information if required. I will be quick to respond.
    Thanks
    Avinash

    Hi,
If the Lot Size is set to 'W', it instructs the MRP to group all the requirements in a week, considering it as single lot and create
procurement element to cover these requirements. It has no influence on the delivery date category in the schedule line or date category in any procurement element.
When the Schedule lines are generated by the MRP run, the default date category is always D (date format). There is no settings/customizing available to alter this behavior.
    Kind Regards,
    Suneet

  • Delivery Schedule in Scheduling agreement

    Hi
We have a  scheduling agreement  created  in MM in ME31L  for subcontract process .
Delivery schedule mentioned for first two line items are  5/07/2008 .
Deliver schedule mentioned for 3rd line item is 02/08/2008 .
Due to this different requirement dates, always delivery split happens .
Regarding this , I request you to clarify below points .
    1.     I understand these delivery schedule were mentioned when this scheduling agreement was created . Afterwards there is no updating happened for delivery schedules .
Afterwards many deliveries have been generated with reference to these scheduling agreement , user is creating delivery every month with reference to this  scheduling agreement . I mean how it is possible  to create many deliveries with one schedule date .where as in SD , we need to update schedule lines always.
    Thanks In Advance

    Excellent information !
I understood what you have mentioned .
Just I need your clarifications for my below queries to fix this issue .
There are 6 line items in this scheduling agreement .
For 3 line items , delivery schedule date is 02/08/2008 . for another 2 line items, delivery schedule is 05/07/2008 . due to this different delivery schedules for line items  in scheduling agreement . whenever  user creates delivery , delivery split is happening .
In order to avoid this problem , can ask user to change delivery schedule for another 2 line items to 02/08/2008 from 05/07/2008 . ?
If user change this delivery schedule  for this line items , is there any ramification in anyway ?.
    Thanks In Advance

  • Issue on Purchase order creation with Delivery schedule line items per PR

    Hi
Note->Developed inbound FM to create PO's in SAP through IDOC.
We are creating purchase orders from vendor which is coming from Inbound IDOC. Here we are using as BAPI_PO_CREATE1
to create PO's. before that i am passing all the inbound data of the IDOC and getting some Purchase requisions for plant and material wise from EBAN table where we have open PR's and split the inbound line item qauntity as per Open quantity in Purchase requisions. Problem here we are modifing schdule line data as per purcahse requisitions and post the all the shehduline data into above functional module, we are using creation date as delivery date in the scheduling line for each line.
Set1- If we have multiple requisions for each material and plant in the inbound IDOC item , while creating PO using  above BAPI
creating PO with delivery date is taken from Purchase requesion date, this only will happend in the first schudle line item always, second line scheulde has taken correctly from creation data as delivery date.
Set2-If we have one requisition for each line item, it will creating correctly for schulding line item as with correct delivery , whcih is not taken from requstion delivery date.
Set 2 is working correctly, but Set1  has problem with delivery date  in the scheduling lines particulary for first schduling line item.
Please help me on this issue.
    Advance wishes

    Hi Satish
    Thanks for the reply.
I checked the parameters and it is creating 2 PO when the Indicator Ordering address is set.If I uncheck this Indicator then only one PO is created.
But now my question is from where is the Ordering address taken because for both line items Vendor is same and ordering address is also same.
Then why the system is creating new PO?

  • Display only/Grey out Delivery Schedule tab in the PO

We are not going to use Delivery Schedule tab at all. Business wants us to Grey out the delivery schedule tab. Is it possible to make all fields under Delivery Schedule as display only? If yes, how can I do that? But, I don't want PO line qty to be grayed out.
Fields like, delivery date, scheld qty, stat.del date etc.
    Thanks everyone.

you better convince your business to wait for a couple months and then rethink this requirement.
You may not have the full understanding yet and have not made a lot experience.
in this tab you can add further requisitions to your PO item, you can close requisitions in case you order less than a requisition, you have to change the statistical delivery date in some case when you are using vendor evaluation, you may have to split the order quantity into several delivery dates  if your vendor informs you that he cannot supply you at one time with all quantity.
Just to save you money that you may spend into a development which has to be turned off a little later.
