Delivery split for Vl10B/ VL10D

Hi
STO purchase order contains more than 1500 line items.
When Creating the Delivery document and PGI for 1500 line items in single shot, system cant generate FI document as there is limitation of 999 line items in FI document ( we are using 4.7 E)
So we would like to split the delivery by 300 line items for each delivery when the PO contains more than 300 line items. so during PGI, Fi document will be generated maximum with 900 line items.
So when i refer the PO with more than 300 line items in Vl10b/Vl10d, system should provide me option to split the delivery by 300 line items for each delivery and should create Multiple deliveries
Can any one please let me know first of all delivery split based on line tiems/ Delivery split concept is possible for this requirement by Vl10D/ Vl10B or any alternative solution for this requirement
If possible can you please help me what are the settings to be done and how the process goes

thanks for your answer.
I verified the concept of copy requirement routine fucntion.
I have checked the configuration IMG-LE-Shipping- Copy control for delivery types,
in the configuration we need to provide the Source Sales Document type and Target delivery type.
Here in the source sales document list i am able to see only the Sales document types, i am unable to see the Purchase order document type to take as source
I felt as this copy control functionalities are only meant for copying from Sales document types to delivery types.
For copying the Items to delivery from purchase order, we dont have any configuration settings or routines. system picking the information to delivery from PO based on the Program ( Harad coded with out refering the Configuration tables/routines) running for the purticular transaction Vl10B/Vl10d
Can you Please confirm this or if copy control function available to copy the information from PO to delivery can you please mention the path and what are the parameters to be choosen

Delivery split for multi-line STO

Hi,
I have a 2 line STO with difeerent material in each line. For both the materials the transportation groups is different.
However for both the materials in the STO, shipping data is same. which means ship-to party,shiping point,condition,route etc. is same.
But when i am trying to create outbound delivery using VL10B , systme creates 2 different deliveries instead of single delivery containing 2 line itmes of the STO.
However when we create sales order of these material, systme creates only single outbound delivery. Then why is it createting diferent delivery for STO ? We need only 1 delivery.
Can any one help ??

Pls check in 0VLK the Delivery Type used in your STO configuration and see if you have Delivery Split by Warehouse Num or Delivery Split Part (for Delivery Split for Additional Partners) checked.

Delivery Split for PO

I want to split delivery creation for 'NL' type of delivery for STPO i.e. 'UB' type.
i.e. if a PO has 2 materials with different material types ( e.g FERT & HAWA ), then 2 different deliveries have to be created in this case automatically.
How can the same be achieved.

If you want a permanent Solution on this you will have to take the help of a Routine.
If you want to manually force a delivery split for each line item in the Purchase Order, then give a different value in the "Unloading Point" field for each item.
Unloading Point field is there at Item level in the Shipping Tab in PO.
There are positives and negatives of this approach.
Positive being that since Unloading Points are different for each line item in PO, there will be a seperate delivery for each line item.
Negative is that since the Unloading Field value is defaulted from the PO into the delivery at header (Goto>Header>shipment) you will have a seperate Invoice for each delivery as the Unloading points are different for each delivery. You will not be able to have a consolidated Invoice.

Delivery split for Replenishment Delivery in VL10B

Hi Gurus,
Can you advise me how I will be able to split delivery (VL10B) depending on maximum volume of my delivery?
Example we want 1 delivery per 100,000 Cubic meter.
In configurations, this can't be controled.
Our current process is that, we create one delivery for collective STOs then maintain handling units (through packing) the packaging material controls the volume limit. After grouping the materials through HU, we then split the delivery in VLSPS per HU.
Is there a way to split the delivery from its creation to consider the max volume?

Example my max delivery volume should be 100,000 cubic meters.
Open STOs due for delivery
STO item 10 with 200,000 Cubic meters as volume. So when I run VL10B, I should have 2 deliveries created for STO item 10.
Deliv 1 - 100, 000 cubic meters
Deliv 2 - 100, 000 cubic meters.

Delivery split for STO based on Material Loading Group

Hello, I want to split the Delivery created from STO based on material loading group. I checked SAP Note:166397 and it requires copying routine. But this solution is not accepted and looking for other solutions. Please help with any user-exit or badi which can solve the purpose. Delivery needs to be created from VL10B transaction.

The copy routine is designed for this purpose - it's not clear why the client does not allow the use of it. In my opinion you should find the root casue of their resistance and offer an acceptable solution (if it is possible).
If you want to solve it in another way I guess you should go into a big development and develop your own copy routine functionality which could mean much more work (for you) and money (of your client) - instread of modifying a copy routine (maybe within few minutes).

Delivery Split for subcontract materials in ME20

Hi Friends
When I try to delivery multiple materials from the same PO through ME2O, they get split into multiple deliveries. Lets say I have selected about 4 materials in one transaction, I see that 3 materials go into one delivery, 1 material go into separate delivery This way I now have about 2 deliveries for a single PO.
I want to understand how this split is working and how to avoid?
All these below parameters are same for all the 3 materials
a)delivery date u2013 Same
b) Shipping Point - Same shipping point
c) Shipping Condition - Same
d) Delivery Type - LB for all
e) Loading group - Same for all materials
f) Route - Is also same

My functional scope is Sales And Distribution , as this dilivery split comes under my scope , I am investigating this issue even though I have to understand MM functionality .
I am not able to find PO for this sub contract delivery .In SD , In VL02N, document flow starts from delivery for subcontract process , there is no display of precceeding document(PO) for this subcontract delivery .
If I want find PO for this delivery , how and what do I do ?

Delivery split for unrestricted and vendor consignment storage locations.

The situation is I have unrestricted stock in a storage location STL1 (100 EA) and vendor consignment stock in another storage location STL2 (100 EA). When a sales order is created for 130 EA, I would like to issue stock from STL1 for the quantity available (100 EA) and remaining quantity (30 EA)from STL2 on the same delivery or different deliveries but I want to identify both S.Locs determined at Delivery level. My plant is not WM managed and materials are batch managed.
I did try configuring stock determination group/rule and used 'MALA' as my storage location determination strategy but unable to achieve the same. I believe stock determination works at the time of PGI and not sure if works for batch managed materials.
Any suggestions/help is much appreciated.

I have already configured "Stock determination in SAP".
Header Table:
Sorting: Item table (Ascending) , Rank order - Priority 1
Quantity Distribution: Qty proposal - 1
Item Table:
Special stock indicator     S.Loc     Priority Indicator
F                                       STL1     1
K                                       STL2     2
With the above configuration, my delivery is not getting split into multiple items.

Delivery split for Sales Order

A sales document type is created to auto generate delivery document when saving.
Goal is to generate multiple deliveries, one for each line item or schedule line date.
The sales order has multiple line items with different dates. The sales order has also been entered with one line item, but multiple schedule line with varying dates.
Test with one line item and multiple schedule lines with varying dates generated one delivery.

How can one sales order generate multiple deliveries?

Hi Anabela Rocha,
There are so many ways by which you can multiple deliveries with one order.
Lets start with the lengthy one
1) You have three items in one order, put the delivery block in two item and deliver them one by one
another one
2) Go to VL01n > give your shipping point, date, order number and the item number> so delivery will create only for those item.
3) GO to VL10C --> give your order --> execute --> system will show you line wise --> select line item and click at Back ground
4) Discuss this issue with your ABAPer and create one Routine and assign it to t-code VTLA --> Header --> in feild "Combination requirmt"

Subsequent outbound delivery split with serial numbers

Hi,
I have a question about subsequent outbound delivery split with already assigned serial numbers.
Case:
First delivery is created and serial numbers are assigned. Now we have to do a subsequent delivery split for that delivery. In SAP standard, it's not possible to do a subsequent delivery split if serial numbers are already assigned.
Does anyone know how we can handle this?

i have 2 STOs with same delivery dates, in this i want to process only one delivery, so i selected one STO & created delivery in background but system genarated Delivery for 2nd STO also even i have not selected?
How to restrict 2nd STO.

Delivery Split during creation of delivery for STO

While creating a delivery for STO, delivery is being created for individual line items. On analysis of VL 033 message, I found that the delivery split is happening because of Function SH: Unloading Point.
The message is
<i>"delivery split due to conflicting header data (Function SH: Unloading Point: <-> UP0065)"
Item 000020 cannot be shipped in the same delivery with the other items in the document because the header data (Function SH: Unloading Point) is different. The Function SH: Unloading Point item field has the value UP0065, but in the delivery checked for concatenation it has the value .</i>
This unloading point has been maintained in the customer master data (and needs to be maintained).
I have also been told by my Basis consultant that note 842704 is not valid.
Why is this happening and how to prevent it.

Sorry... but I could not see either the delivering point or the unloading point in the material sales: general / plant view. Those fields are not visible on the screen. I could also not find them in the config (I was checking if they are suppressed).

Problem with Delivery due list VL10b for STO's - Orders not disappearing

Hi
We have a problem where some 'Stock Transfer orders' are not disappearing from the delivery due list VL10b
Collective processing of documents due for delivery - Purchase orders
hence we have had two deliveries created for one STO order, which in turn has been goods receipted
Any ideas on what the cause of this problem could be ?
The quantities have not been changed on the STO

Batch splitting for Outbound delivery using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE

Let me explain the scenario first.
We are going to create a delivery in SAP with some line items and send it to a non-sap third party WMS. They will pick the goods and send the delivery confirmation back to SAP. In SAP we need to delivery confirmation and PGI.
The problem is when the third Part WMS does a batch split for a particular line item, we need to update the same in SAP and then do the PGI. For this I was trying to use BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE to create split batches. It is splitting the batches but the overall pick status is becoming B (Partially picked). SO it is not allowing to do the PGI.
Can anyone solve my problem

User exit for delivery creation in VL10B/VL10G-

Hi,
Is there any exits available for restricting the document type while the deliveries are selected/processed using VL10B/VL10G - delivery creation in background.
Scenario is when deliveries are created for STO's,the delivery is to be created for a selected document types(EKKO - BSART).Other types of document types have to be ignored when the delivery is created in background.

You handle this through configuration while setting up Stock Transport Orders in MM.
Path: IMG/Materials Management/Purchasing/Purchase Order/Set up Stock Transport Order/Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule
Here you a Delivery type for a combination of Plant and PO type. So those PO types which you don't want to be included for delivery creation will not figure in this assignment. I don't think you should go down the user exit route.
If you still need to explore user exits, look at OSS note 198137 for a list and purpose of VL10X based exits.
