Delivery Status - Blackberry Messenger

The delivery status receipt (D & R) dont seem to be appearing on messages sent any more - does anyone know why this has happened?

Try this -
When you device is POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery. This make a reboot to your device which resolves minor issues with the BlackBerry device.

  • Blackberry Messenger Status Trouble.

    I have the blackberry curve 8520 and my blackberry messenger is the 5.0.0.57 however I can't update my status. I have heard the rumour about having 100 or more contacts but I don't have anywhere near that because I have in total 6 contacts. I have tried restarting my phone but it just continues to show the same thing.
    In Detail:
    When I say I can't update my status, I can't update anything on that page at all.

    How long has this been occuring?
    I ask, because for the past week or so many users have reported some BBM server issues with delayed messages, etc. Perhaps your issue is tied to that.

  • It won't let me download version 4.0 or 4.1 for my blackberry messenger.

    Hi I have recently had a friend who has a blackberry storm and they just sent me a invite to be added to his blackberry messenger list but it says notice. Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry Messenger for software Versions 4.0 and 4.1 so I tried to download it but it won't let me so I am wondering if figure out if it is fixable some how cause I realy want to talk to this contact through bb messenger my cell phone is a black berry curve 8330 series. please email me if there is away that it is possible.

    Ok, do this, delete any pending request from that user, and tell that user to delete their pending request to you.
    Get their PIN number (options > Status)
    Now, you try adding that user by the PIN, not email.

  • Blackberry Messenger: Cannot receive message from one contact only

    I have been using Blackberry messenger since a few months ago. It has been working fine until 3 weeks ago that it stopped working with only one of my contacts:
    I message with my friend every day and out of the blue one day I can't receive any messages from him anymore, and all the messages I send to him would only turn to "d" status even he's read them already (and he'd appear as away on my contact list with a little clock next to the smiley... messages never turn to "R").
    My handheld is on a BES and his isn't. I am in the US and he is in Europe. Not sure if that's the reason... but I have other contacts that are either on or not on the same BES and there's no problem with them. He also has contacts that are in the US as well and doesn't have any problem with them either...
    We have tried battery pull, shortening name, deleting and re-adding and no luck.
    Can any one please help? Thanks!

    Friend and I sat together and used our barcodes through Blackberry Messenger. I have not received a request for "authorisation". Could this be that the other party has purchased a Blackberry data pack over the weekend and this has not been processed?

    If you want to check if the friend's BIS data plan is activated, go to the Manage Connections screen > Services Status.

  • Problems with blackberry messenger

    im having problems with my blackberry messenger. Certain contacts on my bbm couldnt send messages to me it just came up as a red cross, so i deleted them and tried adding them again and now it just keeps saying pending. I cant add them and they cant add me. I wiped my phone and i had an email account set up on it so i could restore my contact list but now im having problems with that too.

    That post is a tad bit confusing, especially lacking adequate punctuation to understand where your sentence breaks are. But, if I am interpreting it correctly, then your carrier already has escalated your case up to BlackBerry and you are waiting to hear back for status. Is that correct? If so, then until you hear back, you should have no expectation of functionality anyway. I suggest you either continue to wait or ring them back up and ask for status.

    why did they take off this great thing which was in the old blackberry messenger and its not there on BBM 5

  • Please help with my blackberry messenger

    hi,
    my bb device is bold 9000
    my blackberry messenger cannot receive any message. however, i can send my friends messages and they can read it.
    actually it is an one-way connection problem. because when my friends sent me messages, i cannot receive any messages from them,
    ive tried anything to solve this problem : restart my bb, uninstall-install my bb messenger, and delete-readd my friends pin number.
    when i re-added myfriends pin number, the invitation was delivered to them, and when they accepted it, the status on my bbm is forever pending (waiting for authorization)
    what can i do? i really2 need your help

    First try looking in every folder making sure to scroll top and bottom.
    On the home screen select Show All.

     1. On the Home screen or in the Instant Messaging folder, click the BlackBerry Messenger icon.
    2. On the contact list screen, in the BlackBerry Groups category, click a group.
    3. Press the Menu key.
    4. Click Group Details.
    5. Perform any of the following actions:
    • To change the group icon, change the Group Icon field.
    • To prevent the group icon from appearing on the Home screen of your BlackBerry® device, change the Show on Home Screen field to No.
    • To stop sharing your status with members, change the Share My Status Message field to No.
    • To be notified when members are added, deleted, or leave the group, change the Notify Me of Changes in Group field to Yes.
    • To turn on chat history for the group, change the Save Message History field.
    • To save group pictures, change the Save Pictures field to Device or Media Card.
    • To stop receiving notification of group activities in the messages application, beside the Message List Integration field, click

    Hi I am trying to send a imessage to one contact and I have not had a delivery status for a few hours - it also hasnt sent as SMS??

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your BBM. 
    With your SIM card inserted, are you connected to a WiFi network or are you using your data plan to use BBM?

  • Accidentally Moved Blackberry Messenger Into Wrong Folder - How Do I Move Back?

    Hi Guys, I accidentally moved Blackberry Messenger into the SMS and MMS Folder instead of just moving the icon around.
    Please advise how I move it out of this folder and back to the Home Screen?

    Scroll to the icon > press the Menu key > Move to Folder > and choose which one you would like it put in, Home Screen, if that is where you want it.

  • URGENT HELP REQUIRED FOR BLACKBERRY MESSENGER ON CURVE 8320

    Can anyone out there please help me.  I have two invitations to join Blackberry Messenger that tells me where to go and download the software.  When I try to download the 4.0 and 4.1 latest software, I get the error message that my phone is not able to do so.
    I also tried to download via the Internet and Iget the same error message, can anyone help as I am in love with my smartphone and my wife is jealous that I give the phone more attention than she ever got.
    Also can I type mails or send SMS through the Roxio desktop Interface?  I do that easily with my Nokia PC Suite but it seems impossible with my BlackBerry.
    Please help.

    There is no text option in Roxio media manager, it's sole function is to manage your media between PC and BB.
    Do you have a data services Package with your carrier, as well as a text package?

  • Blackberry messenger 5.0.0.33 - options to send pics or file or voice note is not available

    I updated the blackberry messenger from the pre-loaded version 4.7.1 to the latest version of 5.0.0.33.  I was able to send pictures, voice note, and file during a chat session by clicking the trackball to bring up the menu and click "send voice note" or "send picture".  This option is no longer there in the 5.0.0.33 even though the user manual indicate this function is there.
    Anyone has the same problem?  Where can I download the previous version (4.7.1 for tour) and how to re-install the previous version of the blackberry messenger?

  • Open Orders Values at partial delivery statuses.

    Hello All,
    I want to report on Quantities and Amounts for all the Open orders based on different Delivery statuses. I tried to use 2LIS_11_VAITM and 2LIS_11_VASTI. With this I just get the consolidated values at order item level but not the actual break up values at Delivery level.
    Can I use 2LIS_11_V_SSL to get the partial delivery statuses and respective quantities?

    Hi Prashanth,
    yes the best way for you is to use the DataSource 2LIS_11_V_SSL. You have here the following status fields: LFGSA (Overall delivery status of the item) and LFSTA (Delivery status) and also the quantities like:
    WMENG     Requested Quantity of Sales Order Sched. Lines in Sales Unit
    BMENG     Confirmed Quantity of Sales Order Sched. Lines in Sales Unit
    VSMNG     Delivered Quantity in Sales Unit of Sales Order Sched. Lines
    Only if you need also Open Quantity you have to use a combination of two DataSources in one ODS Object. As example 2LIS_11_V_SCL. Here you will find the field OLFMNG (Open quantity to be delivered).
    You have to consolidate the both in one ODS object with the same key figures and both should update different InfoObjects.

    Delivery Status in VBUP/VBUK is showing as 'C' completely processed though invoice for the delivery is already cancelled, and delivery in document flow says being process. So now I cannot invoice this delivery. Is there any utility to correct the VBUP/VBUK status from 'C' completely to 'A' Not yet processed  As I belive SDVBUK00 is to update the VBUP/VBUK status from A to C only.

    Try using SD_ACTUAL_OPEN_DATA_RESET & SD_ORDER_SUBSEQUENT_ALLOWED FMs to change the values in VBUK table. I have not used it myself but i think this would be of some use to you.
