Delivery times for the UK?

I'm waiting for delivery of a new Intel iMac (my first Mac). I've just had notification of dispatch and was wondering if anyone in the UK could give me an idea of how long delivery is likely to take? Thanks

What if it's shipping from China to UK? Anyone had experience with MBP times from the factory to London? Mine shipped Friday 24/3. On the apecode.com website it had 5/4 as estimated time of arrival but it's changed to 30/3 and says this:
29 mar 06....86 14....booking slot obtained....Apple Shanghai....30 mar 06
It'd be great if it did come tomorrow!
Any ideas?

As of today feb 15 i have been waiting for 78 days. Finland doesn't have an official apple store (only authorized resellers) It was my mistake because i should have bought from apple.com. But i think 2.5 months is too long and i have no information about when i can get it..

The low-end 15” rMBP with a 8 GB or RAM and a 256 GB SSD costs $2,000.
The low-end 15” rMBP with a 8 GB or RAM and a 512 GB SSD costs $2,300.
With 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD it costs $2,500.
The high-end 15” rMBP with a 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD costs $2,600.
All cost $500 dollars more with a 1 TB SSD.
So the SSD size is not a differentiating factor unless you prefer 256 GB.
If you think you need 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD then you might as well spend the extra $100 for the high-end model.
The high-end model will make a difference on gaming and graphics-oriented applications.
They tend to run other applications at about the same speed.
Both models are rated with 8 hours of battery life.

The speed was about 10% different between 8 GB and 16 GB models.

Graphics oriented benchmarks:
On the Cinebench OpenGL benchmark the high-end was about twice as fast.
On the Unigine Heaven Benchmark benchmark they ran at about the same speed.
On the Unigine Valley Benchmark benchmark the high-end was about 1.5x as fast.

Prolonged delivery times for SSDs

Why does the delivery time for BTO iMacs specced with SSDs bump up from a few days to 4-6 weeks?

Given that it's only the SSD option that increases the lead time that much, it looks like Apple don't have enough SSDs on hand at the moment to predict a shorter delivery time, so they're managing expectations.

Can anyone give me an idea, based on experience,
of delivery times for photobooks ordered from the UK?
I noticed that when you order, it says international orders dispatched in 2 working days, which made me think they are coming from the USA and might take a long time to arrive.
I'm working on a photobook for my brother's 50th birthday on 13 May, and it's important that I get it in time.

Well in the end I used photobox instead and they did a fantastic job. Hardback book came with a cut-out in the cover, like the iphoto ones, but was cheaper.I ordered on a Sunday, and the book was despatched the following day - a bank holiday! - and arrived on the Wednesday.

Anyone got experience of book delivery times in the UK? Does it vary by number of images/pages?

Last time I got one printed it was 7 working days, that was for a twenty page book. Delivery was from Holland.

Contract - Plant Conditions - Different delivery times for plant

Hi people,
I have a question about contracts , in transaction ME32K.
I enter a Contract number
Edit -> Plant Conditions menu.
Select a plant and I can enter a different Net Price for each item for this plant. How can I enter "Planned Delivery Time" for each item for this plant?
In this case, the vendor has different delivery times for each plant and I cannot enter this information.
Do you know if it is possible?

The basic requirement is for the trading of material which is imported and for the material which are purchase locally there should be different invoice for such materials, but while creating the sales order we have only one sales order including all types of materials so in such case we want to create different delivery challans so that different invoice can be made easily or only twi invoice for one delivery challan.

hi all,
I have a report which i need to burst in seven different reports wherein my delivery key is column "emp_id". Now when i schedule the report to burst then the report completes with a warning. I see that there are various delivery cycles for the report and for one of the cycles i get the following message
Error!! Can not find the delivery details for the delivery Id :
hence, what happens due to this is, even there are successful deliveries for other delivery ids but then i get only two rows of data in each of the seven bursted ouput xls files. wheareas the data runs in thousands of rows for each cycle.
Hence whats happening is, that due to error /warning in one of the delivery cycles other reports are also not showing data.
I am not sure whats causing the issue and why i am not getting complete bursted files out.

I guess, you are in 10.1.3.3.2 :),
in the latest release 10.1.3.4.1, there are more enhancement wrto bursting and performance i believe.
check th release notes
can you send me the xml and bursting query you have, i can try simulating in my local.

If it was an audiobook then they are one-time only downloads, to get it on your other devices you need to sync it to them and not re-download it oneach. Don't know if that would be a failing hard drive, but it may be that you are out of available space. How much hard drive space do you have available? Please highlight the Macintosh HD icon and then press Command and I for a get info window. Once open, please copy and post the following:
Capacity:
Used:
Available:
Mac OS requires a minimum of 10 - 15% of total hard drive space available and empty at all times in order to operate properly.

Like many fellow iPhone users, I've been having a devil of a time completing my iPhone upgrade. It's stuck in iPhone purgatory awaiting a connection to iTunes to complete, and in turn, is a worthless shiny brick. If you could post an estimated time for the resolution of this problem, it would help me and many others from enduring hours or frustration and attempted workarounds (click on Music, then your phone, then music, then your phone, then the store, then the phone, click your heels three times). I work for a technology company, and we find that communicating the issue to the users is always better then letting them bang their heads against a wall asking 'why why why' while they cant get their work done.

The GOOD news is I installed 2.0... (I've been so excited about the new Apps!!!)... The BAD news is - Now I just have an image of a USB cable and iTunes logo on my phone and an error message in iTunes: "An unknown error occurred (-4)." ...please try again later.
More BAD news - All of these fantastic apps I've already purchased and I just want to use them, but no phone to use them on anymore. I'm sorry, but I can't live without my iPhone! I don't know where I'm supposed to be right now without my iCal... I don't know any of my friends phone numbers so I can't call them for help... You can try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
