Delivery Type Not Defined.

Dear All,
User has created a (subsequent del.free of charge) sls order. Fine. At the time of creating delivery, system shows the del screen but it doesnt fetch the data frm the order, when i see the log it cries "Del type zsdf is not defined" . Obviously I have checked the copy controls. Its maintained fine both at the header level and the item level. What could be the reason.
Need your help guys...
NOTE :- During the same scenario previously during the creation of the delivery there was an abap runtime error, because of which we have removed a tick from the copy control from check box " copy item number " present in header data.

Obviously I have checked the copy controls. Its maintained fine
both at the header level and the item level
Once again check in VTLA and update the forum what routines you maintained both in header and item level. In fact, you can also compare the standard FD Order Type to LF Delivery Type

In the transaction code OVAZ you can assign the SALES ORDER type to your SALES AREA
and also check the below transaction code
OVAM--- Reference distribution channel
OVAN---- Reference Division
OVAO ---Reference sales organisation

Hi,
I am setting up QA system after successful building of Dev System .
While chnaging newly created folder in QA system gives error message - Message no. 26168, Document type '' not defined .
Document Type exists and are used to create folders successfully.
Why I am getting this error?

I am getting below error message when i am trying to see the output of a query build on Infoset in SAP R3 system.
The Infoset is build on top of BKPF,BSEG and EKPO Tables.
Document type not defined
Message no. F5814
Diagnosis
Financial Accounting service: document type "" was not found in the document type table. There are two possible causes:
document type "" has not been set up in FI customizing
document type is supplied incorrectly from the calling application
System Response
System error.
Procedure
There are two possible measures:
set up document type "" in FI customizing
system error within the calling application - get in contact with the SAP Hotline Service.
Any input on above issue will be of great help.

Hi Anjali,
In which system you are getting this error? Development or Production?
I think you have doc. type just in BKPF (Accounting documents headers). Check if you have any record with document type blank.
You can use t code SE16N for this issue. When you are setting filter on field "document type" (BLART) you can see the list of values. Check if there is any blank item

Document type not defined in lsmw idoc method

hello iam posting Open AR Line Items for contract account using message type
CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE using lsmw idoc method .iam getting error as Document type not defined but actually when iam creating document manually item is created with out any error that means it is defined and my functional consultant is also saying he defined document type.can some body explain me what is the problem.

Check OMW9, here document type is defined for the transaction MIRO..
Go to OMW9, click in the Document Type.
Then double click on MIRO.
Also check the sap notes which is referred in the similar thread Document type not defined f5814

If I understood your explanation correctly, please check in [VOFA] for the billing type S1, whether you have assigned S1 in the field [Document Type]
For information, as like for F2 document type, RV is the accounting document type which flows by default even if you maintain blank field but for S1, you should maintain the accounting document type for cancellation which is nothing but S1.

Since you are using document structure functionality, You are require to create an public folder initially and private folder for each user which is specific to user ID.
If you dont want to create private folder you can select "Select document Via in CV03N screen and select only" Selection screen " and not browser.
If the above changes is done then system will not through an error from CV03N screen"document type not defined"

Hi Friends,
Could u please guide me ?..We have a requirement to extract some data from classification system.
This is related with class type 023 - Batch
I want to use the following parameters in CTBW.
basis datasource :Z_BATCH_ATTR
class type : 023
object table :MCHA
Datasource type : ATTR
I am getting an error "Class type not defined for this object type" when i enter the above entries in CTBW.
The only way I'm being able to make this work is changing object table from MCHA to MCH1.
This solution does not fit me bacause MCH1 table dont have Plant as Key, and I need it.
Do you know what should I do to solve this?

As I'm trying to extract Batch attributes from "AUSP" Table.
I have given class type= 023
Obj Table= AUSP
But not sure which "basis datasource" I need to select.

Exchange rate type not defined for country

Hi All,
I have noticed an error message during testing of postings using tax codes. The error message nbr is FF802 (Exchange rate type is not defined for country XX). When we are testing postings on accounts for which tax code is ignored (not relevant) it is ok. Could you please let me know where exactly we have settings and how it is related to the tax codes ? I have never seen that connection previously.

The exchange rate types are defined at country level in General Settings and the company codes with that country can access that. Normally the exchange rate types are defined as M, P, B and G. M is for average rate and is used in FI, while P is for planning in CO.

Sales Document type not defined

Hi
I am working on an interface. Design is like below
Purchase Order->File Adapter->XI (BPM)->RFC Adapter->Sales Order in R/3
When I am trying to cretae a sales document in R/3, I am getting a message back from R/3 saying 'Sales Document is not defined'. But when Checked in R/3, that sales document type is existing. I don't see any Mapping execption in monitoring, but I am receiveing this message back from R/3

Urgent - Transfer Order Confirmation Error- Item category Type Not defined

Hi Gurus
i need your help for an <b>urgent production issue</b>
FYI we have full fledged Wm implemented
the users are not able to confirm the TO's created and it shows an error that <b>ITEM CATEGORY NOT DEFINED, </b>
i have checked in the STO in me23n which has many different materials in it and it is all having item category = U and also delivery is generated and it also has some item category defined in it also
so can you please help me why this is happening and not able to confirm the Transfer orders

Build failed:"Message type not defined" - can't dereference schemas in MDS?

I'm trying to write my first ABCS using the WorkerEBM & EBO.
I used the AIA service component wizard to generate the composite app. When I try to build it I get the error:
*Error(66): WSDL messageType "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/EnterpriseServices/Core/Worker/V1}CreateWorkerReqMsg" of variable "CreateWorkerAppReqMsg" is not defined in any of the WSDL files*
I can browse soa-mds connection from jdeveloper and navigate (using [ctrl-click]) from my composite to the wsdl and through to the schema - so JDeveloper can find all the necessary resources at coding time.
It can take up to 40 seconds to query and view the AIAMetadata subfolders this way.
Could the build script be timing out while querying soa-mds for resources at build time? Is there a timeout config that can be extended?
FYI: I had to add the jdbc-password of the MDS store to adf-config.xml to get past a password failure message in scac.log.

you need to assign proper G/L accounts in OBYC for your plant/gen modification key/valuation class
Go to your material master..check the accounting view.See whats the valuation class.
Now go to OBYC - GBB
here for the combination of your plant & modification key VAX, VAY & VKA & your valuation class give the resepective G/L accounts.
this should solve your problem.

choose your material type FERT and click on to qty and value updation
In the screen which is subsequently opening select your plant and tick for qty and value updation
After this log off for about 30 seconds and the relog and put the delivery in change mode VL02 and then do PGI
This hopefully solve your error
