Dell Optiplex 745 CPU Ugrade

Question

I saw in an earlier post that i could run this CPU in my PC:
QX6700 INTEL CORE-2 EXTREME 2.66GHZ 1066MHZ 8MB LGA-775 PROCESSOR
If i upgrade to this, will have have to get a new CPU fan to go with this or can i use my current one?

This is not possible for a 745. None of the Core 2 EXTREME series works.  You need at least a precision T3400 with Bios A09 with its performance heatsink and 525W power supply.  The QX6600 is a 130W Quad core CPU.
