Delta Airways Flight Status query page locks up iPhone 3G

I had gone to:

to check my wife's flight (I put in 1882) and after starting to search the iPhone became completely non-responsive. No buttons did anything and the touchscreen was not responding either. After a few minutes of trying everything I could think of the phone went to the screen where it shows the USB plug going to iTunes. When that showed up I pressed the top button (it worked now) and I powered the phone off and back on again.
Odd thing is, I just talked to my wife and the same thing happened to her last night on her iPphone.
We both have iPhone 3G's running 2.2 software.
Looks like some function on the web page/safari on the phone lock up the phone somehow.

Creio que estou com o mesmo problema,
Estou com um lote com erro no status 5 mensagem "Consulta de status de lote: erro de sistema PI" e ao reiniciar o lote encontro a mensagem a abaixo:
"Erro ao inicializar o processo Enviar lote (nº de lote 000000000000XXX)".
Na sxi_monitor do PI não apresenta erro nenhum!! eu conferi a tabela citada na thread e tinham vários registros e um deles referente ao meu lote. Apaguei apenas o referente ao meu lote porem ainda não reinicia.

I am considering switching from an android to an iPhone and one of the features I use heavily on my android is my google now cards. It automatically reminds me to check in for flights and gives me flight status information based on flight information in my email. It then shows me a card for the weather where I am and where I'm going. I also use it for shipment tracking; if i have an email that has a shipping confirmation number, I have a google card that automatically shows me the tacking number and tracking status. I was wondering if Apple had something similar and if it was through Siri or something else? I have an iPad and I haven't seen features like these on it. Everything I've read about Siri so far is that the information given is based on you prompting with a question as opposed to proactively giving me information I need, which is more how I use my android today. If the answer is to us the google now app for iOS, does will it interface with my email and calendar to make relevant cards seamlessly on the iPhone like it currently does on my android phone? How to set email notification on home page lock screen on iphone 4s . Settings did not work, what am I missing?

I have a iphone 4s. I cannot get any email notifications on the home page/ lock screen. Also to find out if i have mail i have to press on the email icon and it will update , then it will show i have mail. I talked to a verizon technician and went trough all the settings . He suggested to reset the settings to default , if that does not work i need to replace the phone. Any suggestions ? Am I missing something?

What are you rmail settings? Sounds like manual pull versus push, is this correct? If your email provider does not offer "push" mail like gmail or iCloud then change from manual pull to hourly or the interval you prefer; more frequent can degrade battery performance.
Also, go to Settings > Notifications and select "Mail" and move "view in lock screen" to on to see message previews in the lock screen.

Error in the Status Monitor page

I have been getting the following error, for the notification in the status monitor page:

For some reason the changes i am trying to save to database is not getting reflected, when i check out the diagram in the Status Monitor.
Also i am getting this error, while saving the Workflow into the database:

Why editing iview id break the delta link in the portal page?

For some reason, everytime I edit the iview id, the delta link in the page will be broken.
After I changed the iview id, the iview id that I added as delta link in portal page remain same, and seems like become a separate copy , rather than the original delta link.
This frustracted me as I have to remove the old iview , and add the new edited iview into the page again.
Why is this happen? (I am very sure I didn't accidentally add the iview as copy, instead of delta link)
By the way, I am in NW04s SP9.

The wording "I am very sure" points to the fact that you didn't really check and re-try it?!
I just checked it on NW04 / SPS18 (which corresponds to SP09 on NW2004s) - and it works like a charme. The delta-link on the test page points to the new ID (as the ID-Change-Wizard announces it).
As I have no 2004s installation at hand, I would suggest really to re-check if you are really talking of a delta-link. If it really doesn't work on SP09 while it works on SP18 in parallel, you would have to open an OSS message. Anyhow, this really should behave analogously...

What is FRT on AT&T Status Shipping Page ?

I recently ordered my iPhone and have been feverishly checking the status shipping page from AT&T. I'm just wondering what FRT is since I see it as listed with the phone as part of the shipment.

Freight.... having waited 10-days for my delivery (ordered July 14), one day prior to deliveries getting push-out 10-21 days from the 15th on.. unless you'll settle for a white 16G, then it may still be 72-hr delivery. Regardless, TAKE MY ADVICE, DON'T MONITOR YOUR STATUS ON A DAILY BASIS if you don't want to FRUSTRATE YOURSELF. Reason being that the status will vacillate from day to day showing no sign of BACKORDERED to being BACKORDERED so don't waste your time and energy. People have been called to the store the same day their tracking report showed it BACKORDERED. So if you are on a 21-day delivery with AT&T, don't bother checking until the day before. And if you show it being shipped with a blue carrier # hyperlink... click on it to gauge its status only then. Once it is shown as delivered to your store, it may still take the Staff 2-3 hours to inventory everything into stock which includes other brand phones, etc. My recommendation, when you see it delivered to your store, call them and schedule an appt. to have it activated. It took 10-min for my Verizon # to port over.
The rest is a tangent I got off on, but it may re-establish some confidence in your choice to by the 3G. So read if you desire. BTW, with relatively heavy usage the first 24-hours I had the phone learning how to navigate around the features, syncing, then just playing with the new toy with PUSH being on, along with 3G, blueTooth, etc. i got 19 hr's battery life. After my first FULL CHARGE, on Saturday afternoon, it easily lasted over 24-hr's into Sunday with still at least 30 battery life showing. Here we are Monday at almost 5p EDT and I still have 50% battery life remaining. The key is remembering this is a tech tool and not a toy, right. You turn the features on as you require them. If you are in your local area I seriously doubt you get lost or need to know where you are...so don't turn on Location... I leave 3G off unless I receive an email with an attachment... and then I quickly switch to 3G for the download... or turn it on if I need to forward an attachment to someone. So on and so forth. As for the phone itself, I absolutely luv it and sooo glad I did not cancel the order the 3x I considered it after reading all the negative discussions and concerns. It works as it should and I knew of its lacking features when i bought it. I tried and tried to warm up to the BlackBerry Curve and 8000 series phones and "for me" I wasn't overly impressed with its features enough to stay with Verizon. I was not an AT&T user before getting my 3G, so I did not know what to expect on signal strength and dropped calls versus that of Verizon for 5+ yr's. WIth that being said, I dropped three call's over the weekend. Two on EDGE network and a couple of times not able to access a 3G signal or a very slow download from the inside a building, which APPLE own's up to in its literature. While I was not on 3G with Verizon, I can assure you my wife has had me in this store a few times in my life and out of boredom have successfully place a call or two. In my mind that is an AT&T issue.... and you can rest assured they were not prepared for the overwhelming influx of new 3G user's and the drain it was going to put on its 3G network bandwidth, so they are in the process of bolstering their systems and adding more towers

Cannot write to the page lock

Hi,
I keep getting this message when trying to edit my
default.aspx page on my ICE enabled site.
Could not write the page lock.
REason: Could not write data to storage.
It is an asp.net page that does not have active content. I
fixed the problem caused by the master page. I can edit similar
pages on the site.
I created an exact copy of the page and renamed it
default1.aspx and I can edit it with ICE so I know the problem is
not in the code.
I have checked the server to see if there is a draft of the
page somewhere. There isn't.
I checked my settings for the site and they are working. I
can edit and save every other page but this one.
Any ideas?

Hi Cory,
I just tried deleting the other editor's account and removed
it from my list of websites and recreated only one editing account
hoping that it would delete previous records of editing activity.
It didn't help.
Are those records stored on Adobe's server or in the Includes
folder? I recreated the includes folder and uploaded it to the site
and that didn't work either. I can edit all pages except the
default.aspx page. I have searched the code and can't find anything
different than on the other pages that work.

Query in Lock Transaction!!!!

Hi all,
One of the user used the transaction CRMD_ORDER_PA and he has got 4900 Lock Entries.
Can anyone please tell me the reason for the same and how such conditinos can be avoided in future.

The number of locks acquired by each transaction (it is important to have this concept in mind when dealing with logical locks) differs largely among both tests. This is due to three reasons:
1. Since you are using the default transaction isolation level (read commited), locks are acquired and released at the start and end of each statement. When you issue an update command, assuming no lock escalation, an exclusive lock will be acquired on eacg
row that is to be updated, an intent exclusive lock will be acquired on the table (preventing schema changes during the update) and another intent exclusive lock will be placed on the entire database, preventing it from being modified (taken offline, for example).
This means the number of locks generated by the first test is the number of rows updated times three.
2. Lock escalation is intended to reduce the number of locks that need to be managed in memory by the database engine, reducing resource usage. It wouldnt make any sense if, despite locks being escalated, the second test generated a number of locks equal
to the number of rows updated. Past the 5k lock threshold, locks will start being acquired on the whole page in which an accessed row is stored. If the number of page locks goes beyond 5k, the locks are again escalated to the whole object.
3. Even if you disabled lock escalation on the second test, it would still acquire much less locks because the intent exclusive locks on both object and database would only be acquired once, therefore the number of locks generated would be N+2.
Just because there are clouds in the sky it doesn't mean it isn't blue. But someone will come and argue that in addition to clouds, birds, airplanes, pollution, sunsets, daltonism and nuclear bombs, all adding different colours to the sky, this is an undocumented
behavior and should not be relied upon.

Workflow - RFC Status -- User is locked

I prepared a workflow and tested it with   PFTC_DIS transaction.
there was no problem .But when i trigered this workflow event in my program , workflow not worked. I used SWEL and SWELS programs to traced it.
The list is below.
The problem is "RFC Status = User is locked. Please notify the person responsible".

Your workflow is not configured properly. Transaction SWU3 -> Configure RFC destinations, hit generate. You may well lack the authorization, in which case you will need a basis person to help you.

Slow response when query v$lock or some data dictionary

We have a severe problem with our database performance problem. Here is the situation:
1. When query data dictionary such as v$lock from any Windows machine on the network, the performance is slow (about 3 minutes.)
2. When query v$lock directly on the server where database reside, the query come back fast (normal).
3. When query user table such as employees from any windows machine on the network, the performance is normal.
4. When query user table directly from server where the database reside, the query come back normal.
Looking at v$session_wait on the slow query, it is waiting on "SQL*Net message to client".
We have people from our network group, security group and did not find anything problem.

Thank for you help!!!I saw the same problem several times. All of them were related with wrong execution plan in the v$lock (and dba_locks, and others based on v$lock). For instance due to "crazy" optimizer mode FIRST_ROWS.
Also look at note 431770.1.
I suggest that when you looked at v$session_wait and saw the event "SQL*Net message to client" state of the event was not = WAITING. Please check. It means that Oracle is not waiting but is burning CPU.
Thus, please let us know - does another optimizer mode improve performance?

Blank work status setting page

Hi,
I did a backup of an appset from bpc 5.1 and restored it in bpc 7.0 MS.
i have done all the security changes, changed the database name in the "owner" category in the "entity" dimension accordingly but i still can't bring up the work status changing page.
after i clicked on "set workflow (approval status)", i was brought to a web page, but it just shows a blank action pane. back in 5.1, this would be where you use "active cv" or "another cv"
i noticed a new column in work status settings, i.e. base hierarchy. and there's a default of "1" to all my work status dimensions. Does this have anything to do with my missing work status action pane?
any idea? thanks in advance.

thanks for your reply, sorry that i can dedicate points to you. i thought by unmarking my question as a question, i can delete my question, but unfortunately it stayed in the sdn forum.
it turned out to be a rookie mistake of not assigning the right users to the application set, after i did an appset restoration in a new server. i also should have assigned the task profile of "change work status" to the relevant users.

HFM calc status query

After removing data from a cell in data grid, is it possible to get back the "NODATA" status for that particular cell? Is it possible to alter/modify records stored in the database related to the calc status of that cell?

Update BDoc status failed - BDoc locked

The inbound queus in the CRM are struck with the status
Update BDoc status failed - BDoc locked
When I checked for the notes I could find the note 705650.
But we have a higher support package then the one mentioend in the notes.
Cany you guys give me suggestion how to resolve the issue

Try releasing the queue, might be a temporary problem.
If not, check out the lockings in transactions sm13 (or sm12: I'm not sure).
