Can anyone provide the delta changes between 4.6C and the latest version of mySAP-HR 2005.

  • Problem in delta changes from ECC to CRM for Customers created in CRM systm

    Dear all,
    I am replicating customers between CRM and ECC and vice versa. The Delta changes are replicating from CRM to ECC system, but not happening from ECC to CRM system.
    I have created some customers in CRM system and changed some address data, those changes are perfectly updating in back end ECC system.
    But when I make some changes for the same customer from ECC system, those changes are not updating back in the CRM system.
    I could not get the problem where exactly is coming. I request your expertise to help me in resolving this issue. I believe all middleware and pide settings are correct.

    Thank you very much for your prompt response, I have checked Customer_main adapter object in R3AC1, no filter has been found there.
    and in R3 table TBE31, I could not find entry for CRS_CUSTOMER_COLLECT_DATA for APPLK = BC-MID.
    As well in CRMRFCPAR table I could see X assigned to field named with 'In Queue Flag', but I could not find DISCARDDAT for CRM (User) settings.
    Kinldy help me to resolve the issue.

    I got the documentation regarding the CRM 5.0 from the service.sap.
    Is there a way that I can get the Delta changes wrt to midldeware,ISA etc from 4.0 to 5.0,

    You want to read the "Release Notes" documents. These are the documents that contain all delta changes between various versions of SAP modules. Here is the link for CRM 4.0 ot 5.0 release notes (also on Service marketplace):

  • Delta Changes from CRM to ERP

    Middleware gurus,
    Our delta changes with the BPs from CRM to ECC are generating a "Message type     is unknown".  Has anyone ever seen this?  It works fine from ECC to CRM.  We're on CRM 5.0 and ECC 5.0.
    Does anyone have any clue???

    Hi,
    Please check the Master Data Syncronization settings under ERP->SPRO->Cross Application Components->BP-> Master Data Syncronization.
    You  need to define the required BP Role, Groups and map accordingly to Account groups. Since you are facing problem with CRM-> ERP, you need to check the settings for CRM->ERP only.

  • R/3 Delta changes in BW

    Hello Everyone,
    When we do an Init or Full data extraction from R/3 to BW for the first time for any extractor, the data gets loaded in BW. When we load delta changes from R/3 by doing a delta load into BW, how does BW know to extract only the changed R/3 records and not all records.
    How are R/3 changes tracked in BW? where is the previous request information stored in BW?

    After initial full upload if there is any change in the records or any new records found then only the delta will work, if there is no new records then even u do the delta there is no updation..
    One morething in RSA7 of detail view u will get the previous posted records and next delta records..the old records will me maintained untill the old request is successful and a new request was reached in r\3 from BW.

    You should be able to find the release documentation for ECC6.0 on the help.sap.com website. Will post a link if I come across it.
    I doubt there would be too many (if any) changes to the data dictionary though.

  • Upgrade batch inputs from 4.6C to mySAP ERP 2005

    we are planning to upgrade from 4.6C to mySAP ERP 2005 (ECC 6.0). We are using batch input/call transaction in various (interface) programs (primarily in modules SD, MM, CS/SM, FI, CO). I would be grateful for any information that helps to estimate the effort to upgrade our batch input code. In which areas/modules/transactions did you encounter problems with batch inputs? How severe were these problems (one or two fields moved to another screen, or major redesign)? How did you address these problems (change BI or convert code to use BAPI)?

    we were working on batch input's and our scenario is something like convertion of bdc's from 4.5b to ECC5. well, it was a long process of upgradation. and coming to the part of BDC's
    Q) any information that helps to estimate the effort to upgrade our batch input code.
       we had 300 BDC's to convert from 4.5b to ECC5 and with a ten member team of ABAP experts it took us 30 working days to complete the process.
    Q) In which areas/modules/transactions did you encounter problems with batch inputs?
       Mostly, we had problems from FI and something like in Revenue recognition process. The problems comes, when the whole transactions screens changes for the process. at this time we have to write completly a new BDC's. if we have right functional specifications and functional experts, it will be easy to convert BDC's.
    Q) How severe were these problems (one or two fields moved to another screen, or major redesign)?
        As i have mentioned, out of 300 almost 25 to 50 were minor changes rest were huge changes.  a completely new BDC's. the point here is, we were updating from 4.5b to ECC5. it might not be this scenario for 4.6c to ECC5
    Q) How did you address these problems (change BI or convert code to use BAPI)?
       well, this is were we are curently working now. and curently there are 4 scenarios (and may be more in the future) were we have to replace three BDC's which are used for material master creation and make it into one bapi satisfying all the conditions of BDC's. actually, we have to find a BAPI( which i couldn't find) so, i have created a bapi. and tougher part is writing exceptions as we cannot write exceptions as we do in function module.

  • InfoSpoke Extraction Mode change from Delta to Full?

    I am having one InfoSpoke having Extraction Mode: Delta.
    I am having one requirement from client that they need data from Same InfoSpoke with Extraction Mode: FULL from the period: 01.2007 to 04.2009.
    Can i change InfoSpoke Extraction Mode from Delta to Full directly in the existing InfoSpoke? Will it impact any thing?

    Hi Venkat,
    It's better to create one more infospoke rather than changing the present Delta one.
    As you see it may remove the Delta marker and further it may cause problem in delta extraction from infospoke.

    Did anyone know about Delta Changes if i we want to upgrade from 4/6c into ECC6.0 ? Please help.

    hi,We will be embarking on an upgrade of SAP R/3 4.6c to mySAP ERP
    ECC 6.0 soon (Sep 07). I will be wearing the change management
    lead hat, amongst other hats. As far as I know, this will be
    purely a 'technical' upgrade, except for some FI changes.
    I have 2 questions for which I would appreciate help and
    feedback.
    (1) From an organization change perspective, is it correct to
    assume that there is no impact to business processes nor any
    need for retraining as the same screens/windows are presented to
    the customer ? The only difference is the delivery vehicle,
    from the SAP GUI to WAS 6.2 browser based windows. The screens
    and functions remain the same therefore there is no need for
    end-user retraining. Is this correct?
    (2) We have a team of ABAP skilled technologists supporting the
    current R/3 system. I was told that those skills are enough to
    support the new ERP 2005 system. Technically, we do NOT do any
    customizations of screens or any bolt-on applications. The
    tech staff's concentration is on external 3rd party interfaces
    to and from SAP and reporting. With the SAP apps now being
    delivered via a WAS, I am not totally convinced that we don't
    need to beef up our technical staffs skills with J2EE skills. I
    was even told that the J2EE stack in SAP is optional (?). What
    are the technical skills required to support the new mySAP
    environment ? We have Basis covered. My main concern is the
    technical staff supporting the business side

    Hi,
    For the differences between mySAP ERP 2004 and 2005 from a hardware perspective, please see SAP Note 901070.
    It is a full upgrade to upgrade from mySAP ERP 2004 to 2005 (not simply applying support packages). Of course the impact of even a technical upgrade depends on the functionality that you have deployed and if there are major changes between the 2004 and 2005 release. In most cases this is minimal but investigation is required and you should test everything for signoff. Do not let a technical upgrade be considered a no brainer, some people get tripped up with not checking everything and finding the unexpected after go live.
    You mentioned that you want to start using xSS. I would suggest that you start with mySAP ERP 2005 as there are technology changes in mySAP ERP 2005 in the xSS solution and it will save you rework in the long term - xSS is written in Web Dynpro for Java and not ITS based in mySAP ERP 2005.
    In regard to satisfaction with the upgrade, I would suggest you ask SAP to talk to references and check with your local SAP user group to see if anyone has done it.

    MySAP is a business suite (set of business applications, clubbed as a package), marketed by SAP. This includes solution for business applications in the areas of enterprise portals, customer-relationship management, supply-chain management, electronic marketplaces, business intelligence, product life-cycle management, supplier relationship management, human resources, financials, and mobile business, as well as for industry-specific business applications. These solutions are realized through mySAP components...
    In terms of the delta on ABAP technology, there isn't much. In both products, ABAP is used as the programming language for the Repository objects. Ofcourse java is also used in most of the mySAP Components, which can also be changed/modifiied using ABAP. BSP (Business Server Pages) is another new introduction; which is a mix of tags (markup languages) and ABAP.
    Web Dynpro is also introduced.
    There are some key words in ABAP which are obselete in the newer versions, but this is always the case with all version upgrades of SAP; its not specefic to mySAP.

  • Error in delta loading from a planning cube

    I am using a delta load from one planning cube to another.When the changed records are of a magnitude of 100 then it is successful but when the records are of magnitude of 100000 then it stays yellow with no data records sent and eventually fails.the packet size is 20000.

    Have you checked that your Request is closed in the planning cube? FM RSAPO_CLOSE_TRANS_REQUEST will do it
    It is a customizing issue to tell the infopackage to end "green" when it has no data.
    Transaction Spro ==> SAP Netweaver ==> SAP Business Information Warehouse ==> Automated Processes ==> Monitor Settings ==> Set Traffic Light Color. There you have to set the Traffic light on green if no data is available in the system.
