Delta changes taken place in PS functionality from 4.6C to ECC 6

Dear All
Can you tell me where we can get delta changes taken place in PS functionality from 4.6C to ECC 6 from?
Is it readily available with SAP sites or do we need to find out manually?How?

You want to read the "Release Notes" documents. These are the documents that contain all delta changes between various versions of SAP modules. Here is the link for CRM 4.0 ot 5.0 release notes (also on Service marketplace):

In the future, when looking for deltas, just remember the term "release notes"

After opening the site, please select the Source Release Version which is 4.6 b Then Select the Target Release Version which is "mySAP ERP 2005" or ECC 6.0
Select the Solution Area like Financials, Human Capital Management, Sales....

Then it displays the Release Version and the Delta Functionality. which can be downloaded to a word document if required.

if you are using excel in place in the web application environment I doubt you can, you've never really had any macro functionalty there.
If you are in the gui environemnt (Planning folders) it will depend on how you want to invoke the module...

Problem in delta changes from ECC to CRM for Customers created in CRM systm

Dear all,
I am replicating customers between CRM and ECC and vice versa. The Delta changes are replicating from CRM to ECC system, but not happening from ECC to CRM system.
I have created some customers in CRM system and changed some address data, those changes are perfectly updating in back end ECC system.
But when I make some changes for the same customer from ECC system, those changes are not updating back in the CRM system.
I could not get the problem where exactly is coming. I request your expertise to help me in resolving this issue. I believe all middleware and pide settings are correct.
Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your prompt response, I have checked Customer_main adapter object in R3AC1, no filter has been found there.
and in R3 table TBE31, I could not find entry for CRS_CUSTOMER_COLLECT_DATA for APPLK = BC-MID.
As well in CRMRFCPAR table I could see X assigned to field named with 'In Queue Flag', but I could not find DISCARDDAT for CRM (User) settings.
Kinldy help me to resolve the issue.

Delta Changes from CRM to ERP

Middleware gurus,
Our delta changes with the BPs from CRM to ECC are generating a "Message type is unknown". Has anyone ever seen this? It works fine from ECC to CRM. We're on CRM 5.0 and ECC 5.0.

Hi,
Please check the Master Data Syncronization settings under ERP->SPRO->Cross Application Components->BP-> Master Data Syncronization.
You need to define the required BP Role, Groups and map accordingly to Account groups. Since you are facing problem with CRM-> ERP, you need to check the settings for CRM->ERP only.

I have a requirement to change PFCG role assigned in User from background and I need a BAPI , FM or any other method to do the same, I have gone through BAPI_BUPA_ROLE_REMOVE and BAPI_BUPA_ROLE_ADD_2 but as per my understanding , these are related to business role not PFCG.

How to retrive delta changes in Infotype

Dear All
I am working on development of New Interface program from SAP to 3rd party application and this will run on daily.
I want to retrive <b>delta changes</b> record alone in 10 infotype tables.
I checked the Tech.setting of these 10 infotype table and came to know that log data changes & Maintain as transparent table check box is selected.
But i couldn't find any record in the table: DBTABLOG
Is there is any other table where the delta change in the Infotype get saved.
The infotype am checking is IT0000,IT0001,IT0002..etc
Could any one help me to solve this issue...

please use RPUAUD00 program.
you can do assign above program in your interface by using SUBMIT.
another way. you create one Z function module, here you do submit RPUAUD00 program.

I am having a problem calling external javascript functions from xsl on mac safari, i am trying to generate a dropdown dynamically from an xsl document using XSLTProcessor through javascript, following is the code snippet of the xsl document

here the function onEmailSubTypeChange() is present in an external js file, all the other functions from this files are executed successfully except the ones which are defined in the xsl document.
I have also tried replacing onclick="onEmailSubTypeChange();" with onclick="javascript:alert('hello world');" but the event is not getting fired at all since i cannot see any alert on the selected item change of the dropdown.
Is there a way in which i can achieve this ?

Is their a way to log whether interactive logons have taken place

Hi Gurus,
We need to change the service userID to System type, and ensure that all functionality continues to work in Production systems. (The userID embedded into RFC connections)
Before changing the user type for the userid I would like to know if there is any way to log whether interactive logons have taken place for the Service user.
We need to ensure that everything works when the userID is changed to System.
Please let me know if there is any to see the log for the service user which had interactive logons.

Yes salman, you need to create profile and then activate it.
In SM18 you can define the days for which you want to keep the logs it depends on the company policy and size of log
In SM19 Activate the profile required for audit log like for all users you can activate only critical events while for critical users select all events.SM20 you will just use for the reading the logs. (if required)

ERP 6.0 has > 200.000 ABAP programs and function modules and other objects, having such "delta list" doesn´t make sense. Would you want to compare the programs one-by-one?
Between 4.6B and ERP 6.0 are many years of development and many many uncountable changes.
Please be a bit more specific what you want to check, then we may help.

Delta-search taken over firefox

after the last reminder to update firefox, this "delta-search" has taken over my firefox.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox countless times.
I have read the support reference to this issue in mozilla help, but there is no "babylon" installed on my computer.
I have run virus, malware etc...scans which show no bad stuff.
I am not savvy enough to know how to get into regedit and change this kind of stuff, although, from the support feedback this does not seem to solve the problem anyway.
I am really desperate now. I am a very long time firefox user and mozilla supporter and I do not know what has happened to my favorite web program.
I would be very, very grateful for some help please, otherwise, I will no longer be able to use firefox.

hello the browser manager & general crawler extensions are malware. though they appear to be disabled already, please see if you can remove them from firefox > addons > extensions.
then please install the search reset addon - it will revert the most common customziations those adware programs do in firefox back to the default: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/
in case this didn't solve the issue please try this: go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile folder - "show folder", then a new window will open up. in this window look out for a file named '''user.js''' (it might be used to overwrite your custom settings). in case it is present , delete or rename this file and restart firefox afterwards.

PPM Integration Model Activation did not send delta change data

Hi all,
I have an integration model of PPM's. I activated the PPM for the initial transfer.
When I create a new prod. version, I created a new version of the model for PPM, above the previous active one.
When I activated the new version of model, the system tried to send all data.
I supposed that the system would only send the changed data, because the previous model is active.
but the system sent all PPM's
and it takes too long.
Would you please answer why does the system react like that and what must we do?

In order to check what is occuring, in your ERP system look at Table CIF_PPM_CHANGED, this will tell you the Material, Plant and Prod Vers of your PPM,s. It also has a field CHANGED to tell you if any changes have taken place and a field PROCESS, which should be set to "X" if the change has passed over to APO.
Check the values in your table to see if this has been set. It should only send the delta records where there is a value in CHANGED and PROCESS=" ".
Also check to ensure that people are not changing the Bills of Material or Routings etc, as this will also resend the PPM´s.
