Delta data source is not displayed in RSA7

Hi Gurus,
I am not sure how this happened, but in our quality system, the RSA7 list is empty. I hope this might have happened when there was a system copy back.
Please advise how to restore this list.

If datasource is not on RSA7 then that means your delta has been deleted.If this is the case then you need re-init the load .

try running an ethernet cable from your Mac to the AX. this should enable AU to see it.
once configured, you can disconnect the ethernet cable.

Customized delta data source for deleting data record in the source system.

Hello Gurus,
there is a customized delta data source, how to implement delta function for deleting data record in the source system?
I mean if there is record deleted in the source sytem, how to notify SAP BW system for this deleting change by this customized delta
data source?

when ever record deleted we need to write the code to insert the record in Z table load this records into BW in a cube with similar structure.while loading into this cube multiply the Keyfigure by -1.
add this cube in the Multi Provider.The union of the records in the orginal cube and the cube having deleted records will result in zero vale and will not be displayed in report .

I'm running
Red Hat Linux 5, MySQL and BOXI 3.1
I try and schedule a report in the CMC and the report fails with the error
A database error occured. The database error text is: {Driver Manager} Data source name not found, and no default driver specified. (WIS 10901)
I've went through the steps in the Bus Obj's Documentation outlining how to install the unixODBC (though this doco was for R2 - I'm not certain whether this install is needed for 3.1).
Error WIS 10901 details
Database error: . Contact your administrator or database supplier+
for more information. (WIS 10901)
              The database that provides the data to this document has generated an error.
Cause
              Details about the error are provided in the section of the message indicated
              +by the field code: .
              Contact your BusinessObjects administrator with the error message
Action
              information or consult the documentation provided by the supplier of the
              database.
Any pointers suggestions on how to set up correctly the unixODBC will be looked into.

I am using follwoing string

Did you add a System DSN or a User DSN? If you added a User DSN from your own login, the asp.net application will not be able to use it unless its application Pool in IIS is configured to run under the same credentials that you used for creating
the DSN. It's better if you add a System DSN.
Also, be careful to ensure that you are using a 64 bit DSN, unless you configure the application to run in 32 bits. If the 64 bit application attempts to use the 32 bit driver you get the same error message "Data source name not found and no default

Visual Composer 7.0: system (data source) does not appear

There is a problem: system (data source) does not appear in Visual Composer 7.0
1. There is a connector MDM. It is made by PCD. It has been tested. The test is ok.
2. However, as the data source in Visual Composer a connector MDM does not appear.
3. This problem affects all types of connectors, but the Web Service Connector. Connector Web Service is always there.
What the .....?
P.S. The role of the creator of the connector is the same user of Visual Composer

Posting date in AFRU and 2lis_04_p_arbpl data source is not matching

Hi Experts,
We are facing an issue with 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL data source, posting date in AFRU table and in data source is not matching.
For example: we booked an activity confirmation of value 100 on 01.01.2015 posting date, Counter 1, Operation 10
For the same operation another counter is confirmed on 01.02.2015 posting date.
So, in AFRU table:
Prod Order     Operation     Confirmation Number     Counter     PostingDate     Activity
1001               10               8001                             1              01.01.2015       100
1001               10               8001                             2              01.02.2015       0
In 2lis_04_p_arbpl data source, counter field is missing due to which only 1 record is coming which is:
Prod Order     Operation     Confirmation Number     Counter     PostingDate     Activity
1001               10               8001                             1              01.02.2015       100
In data source, activity of value 100 is coming on 01.02.2015 date instead in AFRU table it is booked on 01.01.2015 posting date by which we are unable to match the value in query which is based on posting date.
Please help on this.

Please check on which date the production order has status as "completed".
It could be on 01.02.2015.

SQL Server Reporting Services: ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

Hey everyone, So I am trying to get a report onto the server, and in BIDS I kept getting a login screen repeating over and over when I tried to deploy my report, so I tried to upload the file at http://<servername>/Reports This worked, but then trying
to run this report from http://<servername>/Reports did not work either because "An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Cannot create a connection to data source 'FTYDataSource'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection) For more information
about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors" Anyways I tried to add a New Data Source (which I would use in the report) at http://<servername>/Reports, type ODBC, with the connection string Dsn=blah_blahblah.
I try to test the connection here and get the error ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified This is really getting old fast, everything I try, a new error comes up. Granted I am new at this,
but this still should not be this troublesome. Does anyone have any ideas on what could FINALLY allow me to just put a report out onto the server?!? THANK YOU in advance for ANY help.

Hi,
Please try setting the credentials of the datasource.
1. Double click and open the datasource in your project.
2. Click on the credentials tab, and click on option button 'Use this username and password'
3. Enter the username and password to connect to the datasource
4. Deploy or upload the datasource to the report server and try accessing the reports.

am extracting the data from Vistex datasource,IRM/LIS_RM_IPCRASP IP CR Agreement Conditions
after activating in RSA5 i can able to see in RSA6
but while activating the data source after the extract structure has successfully generated,
the system showing data source does not exist

when i click the maintain button save button will appear,
but in my case this save button not highlighting...
when i check in ST22 the system proposed error mesage is table illegal statement,
i found this error in many forums but its not related to datasource actvation,
plz anyone giv me solution as soon as possible...

The connection string for coded UI Data driven test using excel data source is not working

From the error message, I suggest you can refer the Adrian's suggestion to check the date source connection string correctly.

Created new data source, does not appear in the list

Hi I created a new data source using information provided in http://otn.oracle.com/products/reports/apis/pdstutorial/textPDS/PDS_1.html. But the new data source I created does not appear in the wizard. Could some body give me a clue? Can somebody point me to more detailed documentation on how to integrate a new data source into Reports Builder?

I desperately need help to troubleshoot why my data source is not appearing in the list eventhough I feel I have done things as per the tutorial. From reading the tutotial I am not clear -
- If specifying an icon is mandatory. If I don't specify an icon my datasource should still appear right?..without an icon?
- It is mandatory to implement the editor. I have hard coded things because I don't foresee any interaction by a user with the data source. There is just one column which WILL always appear if this DS is chosen.
- Finally in the integration instructions(http://otn.oracle.com/products/reports/apis/pdstutorial/textPDS/PDS_5.html) they mention that the classes have to be compiled with "report build" , is that a tool?

Linked Server [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

Hi I have SQL2012 installed on my local machine and have also installed MySQL 5.6.23 installed with a test database.
I also have my SQL connector installed and MYSQL ODBC Driver 3.51.
Which happily connects to the Mysqldb.
The Datasource Name : mySQL conn
TCP/IP Server : localhost and Port :3306
User root
with pwd
On the SQL side I have used the following
EXEC master.dbo.sp_addlinkedserver
@server = N'MYSQLSRV',
@srvproduct=N'mySQL conn',
@provider=N'MSDASQL',
@datasrc=N'mySQL conn'
However when I try to selet using open query
SELECT * FROM OPENQUERY ( [MYSQLSRV], 'SELECT * FROM students' )
it comes back with
OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "MYSQLSRV" returned message "[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified".
Msg 7303, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "MYSQLSRV".
I cant understand what I have done wrong . Any help in this would be great as Ive hit a bit of a brick wall

In addition to other post, please also note the following things.
1. If you use the 32-bit driver on a 64-bit machine, please run the 32bit version of "odbcad32.exe" by running "c:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe"
from Start/Run menu and
create your ODBC DSN. However, for the 64-bit driver, use c:\windows\system32\odbcad32.exe to create your ODBC DSN. For more details, please review this similar

2. Expand the folder Providers under Linked server directory in SSMS and go to properties of MSDASQL provider and configure it properly as described in this blog:

Date Format was not displayed correctly

        We are developing WebDynpro Application successfully....but the date format was not displayed correctly.
the RFC Date format is : 05/23/2007
but in webdynpro we are getting date is wrong....we are getting date is : 09/05/2008.
the below one is our coding for date display format.....

Connect to MS Access using NetBeans, data source name not found!

NetBeans IDE 7.3 and OS was Windows 7 (64-bit )
When I run my program by NetBeans, it complain about the following errors.
java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified
In fact, the MS Access file had exist the specify path, I can run the jar file (not in IDE environment) and connect to MS Access DB successfully.
And I had search from network, and found it said "the ODBC source was run by different server", one was C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe for 32-bit and c:\windows\system32\odbcad32.exe for 64-bit.
So the question is, why IDE cannot connect to MS Access DB, How to set NetBeans IDE to make it connectable to 32 bits or 64 bits ODBC, like the program run without IDE?

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe that doing ODBC connections from a 64 bits environment is not actually supported in Java. You may be outraged by that - in Java 8 the ODBC-JDBC bridge is going to be completely dropped, no more connecting to Access from Java without third party libraries (which tend to be commercial). In any case for now try to use a 32 bits Java runtime if you're using a 64 bits one.
