One of the delta was deleted and is not saved.May I know how a failed delta can be loaded again.Please describe the steps.

hi,
come back to u r infopackage and schedule it again.then the system will ask u this load is already scheduled .repeate this again.then click on yes.then u r delta is rescheduled again.

Options for delta deletion in SRM-MDM

Hi! I understand that MDM cannot do delta deletion unless we have full refresh. However, we usually get delta files that has a column/field that tell us whether the item is an Add, Change or Delete. We were able to use that information to delete the appropriate item in the old catalog management system (Requisite). However, with SRM-MDM we cannot do that.
One option I thought of was to create a custom field in the repository and then capture this information so that the administrator can delete it manually. However, I wonder whether there is a way to automate it? If we leave the items in the system without deleting it, then they can be potentially used by the users. Another option is to set a timeframe and create a named search to limit the catalog items by timeframe but I am wondering whether there is an easier way to automatically delete the item with the status 'Delete'? Has anyone tried to do the same before? What options do I have in this case? Appreciate any advice on the above.

Hi SF,
I can relate to your pain. There is no automatic deletion function delivered by SAP in MDM. However, you can build a custom Java API or ABAP API program to achieve auto-deletion (if your customer is willing to invest in some development in this area).
Some other tips:
a. You don't have to create a custom field to indicate that a record is to be deleted. Simply add a new Item Status (standard lookup table), e.g. "Delete", and then populate records in your import files with this Item Status as needed.
b. For your end users not to see these "Delete" records in the WebDynpro Search UI, build a named search that excludes the Item Status "Delete" value.

Delta deleted & not saved

Hi,
   One of the delta was deleted and is not saved.After that many deltas are being loaded.
    May I know how a deleted delta can be loaded again or how can I get the data of that particular load.Please describe the steps.

    The delta was deleted on July 19th......After that many deltas have been
    loaded till date.
    1.How to load that particular delta to ODS without duplicating the data( in ODS
       and Cube) .I dont know which delta has been deleted except the date(july
       19th).
    2.What should be the parameters mentioned in the repair full request.
    3.Should I choose a new Info package for loading.
Kindly mention step by step solution.

Delta deleted by mistake

by mistake i have deleted a delta for sales document header in rsa7. Can any please help me how i can get that delta back and how my released job will gain the delta from r3.

When u deleted the delta for sales document header in rsa7..........the Total tab was 0 or not........If it was 0 that means that the LUW was already sent to the BW side..........then u can fill the set up table after that .........I mean u know on whick date u hav deleted it.............From that to till date.............with this selection fill the set up table............then run init with data transfer..........then delta...
If the Total field was not 0........then u hav to check when the IP ran successfully for the last time........file the set up table after that to till date..............then run init with data transfer.........then delta..
Tcode for filling set up table : OLIBW................. stands for application area.......
Tcode for deleting set up table LBWQ................delete the set up table..before filling it.....

just some more clarification...
you perform a delta load every 7 days and the following day you have to do the related report...in the meanwhile you done the 14th report, but you didn't provide the 8th report...right ?
If you want to do a report only with the 7th delta data, you can modify your query, insert an exclusion filter on the last ID request and there will be no need to delete anything !

SmartSync Delta Delete

hello experts,
we are working with MiClient 2.5 & WAS 640 using Smart Sync.
-when my device send download request to R3 using BO S01 for a list of orders, my R3 return from getList results filtered by ME-SYNC_USER.
-when R3 update a field of an order, client receive the update message via Delta Sync and update the field automatically.
-when my R3 add an order, my client receive the new order automatically.
but the problem is:
if my R3 delete an order and i synchronize, my device not read the server deletion. the message returned to client is only 'no data found in downloader' and the order persist in the client layer.
how to my R3 can send request to device for delete this record? is it possibile using the smartSync + syncBoS01?
my temporary solution is: when my R3 delete an order , set a boolean field into BO, e.g.: deleted=true.
when my client receive the orders, save these into Persistence Layer. the client analyse the orders locally : when the order has field delete=true, delete the order locally. but this solution is not performant.
R3 can send to client delete message with deltaSync for Bo S01?

just check ur GETDETAIL Bapi Wrapper .
Here what u have to do is , in the in the EXPORT parameter , u will have to populate the HEADER Structure exactly corresponding to the import param of ur getdetail function module.
GETDETAIL is also using for Conflict detection.
what i mean is...
we have one table parameter in our GETLIST Bapi WRAPPER.
one of the field in this structure is the key field of the GETDETIL.
here we have to include the same Structure , that we have given as TABLE in getLIST , in the EXPORT param of GETDETIL.
at the same time, frame work call the GETDETAIL for each GETLIST instances.(at a time one GETDETAIL).
this GETDETAIL execution is for one particular GETLIST instance at a time . So we have to populate the same data got from the GETLIST for this particular key every time and give this as EXPORT param.

BPC 7.5NW : How to delete all data in application

Hi,
I need to delete transactional data in an planning application. I've run a "clear" and I clears all the data, but unfortunately, it's "only a delta" delete. So there are still several datapackage request in my application. Of course the sum is zero, but there are still lot's of data.
How to I do a full delete af all transactional data and request ?
i need this in order to delete all masterdata and reload it.

Hi,
Easiest way of complete deletion of transactional data from application is from back end.
Login into back end(BPC BW) via logon pad
--Goto tcode RSA1 and click on infoproviders tab
   --Search for Application (from where you want to delete data)
   --Select the application and change from planning mode to data load mode from context menu
   --Select delete data from context menu
     --Select No to keep dimension data
   --Once data deleted from application(infocube) change back planing mode(from context menu)

Error in Inventory Data loads:"2LIS_03_BF_Delta"

Hi,
We are loading transaction data via 2LIS_03_BF_Delta & 2LIS_03_UM_Delta using process chains to two data targets(Cubes).
Yesterday the delta failed & we forcefully added the data via P.S.A after deleting it from the cube.
Today the delta failed again with a message "Last Delta Incorrect, repeat not possible". Also the data today for 2LIS_03_BF_Delta has not arrived to BW but the info package shows failed status.
In RSA7 the data is available. The 2LIS_03_UM is working fine.

You can try this way:
Check the request number in BW for the latest green request, this should match with the one you find in source system table ROOSPRMC and field DELTARNR. If the numbers match this means r/3 keeps a track of the deltas. Now make QM status red for the failed deltas, delete tehm from ODS and take the delta again. Just make sure you have the records in RSA7 for the failed deltas.
Also refer OSS notes 873694.

How to delete the delta queue in the ECC

After I tryed to save a new Infopackage and I have the error :
(Deltas already loaded for request REQU_41Q82WJLR9AZCE9ZMKQLVG3RG init. selection; no 2. init
Message no. RSM1071
Diagnosis
Deltas have already been loaded for the init. selection of request REQU_41Q82WJLR9AZCE9ZMKQLVG3RG. A second initialization is therefore not possible with these selection conditions.
Procedure
If you want to carry out a new initialization, you have to choose selections that do not overlap.
If you want to repeat the init. for the same selection, you have to delete the delta queue in the source system, and restart the delta process.
As the error says - Deltas have already been loaded for the init. selection.
Can you please give me some links/guids which describes how to delete the delta queue in the source system, and restart the delta process.

Assuming as you need to the reinit for same selections.
in such case you need to delete old init.
how to delete init:
Go to your info pack screen, menu Scheduler--> initialization options for source system--> here you can see the existing init, select init(green) and delete it.
Later you can trigger your init info pack with selections.

How can I delete all delta request and init from InfoCube?

We are working with an extractor that support deltas, but we are presenting problems with it, some changes in the data are not displayed. For this reason we are thinking change this type of processing and make a full load (with the full updating the changes are shown).
For this reason we need to delete all requests of delta and its init. But in manage option of the infocube we cant see the init and the first deltas.
If I delete the initialization information at info package (menu option scheduler-> initialization). With this only we will delete the Initialization. I need to delete the data in the infocube.
I would appreciate your help.

Hi Victoria,
You can either display all the requests in the manage tab and delete from there. Or you can use the Automatic Request Deletion option in the Data Target tab of the InfoPackage. See here for details:

Delta Update in data Target Must be Deactivated Before deleting the request

Hi Experts,
I got an error while deleting a request from an ODS target. In breaf Let me explain..
Today one data load got failed. The data source 0CRM_SALES_CONT_I ( CRM Sales Contract : Item ) is updating data to 4 ( Four ) ODS targets.
So I forcefully made the request red to delete the request from the targets. But I unfortunately deleted another request without making it RED, I reconstructed it. Everything is looking fine.
   But the thing is , when I tried to Delete the ERROR request from the other two related Data Targets ( 0CRM_CN2P and   0CRM_CNT1) , I fount these warnings..
                --> Request 140522 already retrieved by Data Target BWPCLNT600
                --> Delta update in Data Target BWPCLNT600 must be DEACT. before deleting the request.
                --> Do you want to DEACTIVATE the Delta Update in the Data Target BWPCLNT600   ?
   I clicked on YES.
I am having doubt, will it make any problem in future ? Or How Can I Resolve this problem   ?

Custom delta extractor: All data deleted in source table in R/3

Hi everyone,
I have made a custom delta extractor from R/3 to a BW system. The setup is the following:
The source table in R/3 holds a timestamp, which is used for the delta. The data is afterwards loaded to a DSO in the BW system. The extractor works as expected with delta capability. Furthermore if I delete a record in the source table, this is not transmitted to the DSO, which is also as expected.
The issue is this however: If we delete all data in the source table, then on the next load there is a request showing 1 record transfered to the DSO. This request does, however, not show up in the PSA, and afterwards all data fields in the DSO is set to initial.
Does anyone know why this happens?

Deleting red delta packet in PSA

Hello,
Today morning, I had a red delta packet in PSA, I deleted it, and executed Delta infopackage again.
It gave me a warning that, this will request again the same delta packet. So I guess, there is no loss data from delta. Can you confirm it?
My collegue said that, I shall check ROOSPRMSC from R3 and, I should change status of delta packet from red (back to technical status) to red (status NOT OK).
What is the logic of the operation my collegue said?

Hi,
Whenever a delta infopacakge fails then its advisable to make the technical status red manually by going to monitor and making the status RED. But in your case since you said that you got a warning to repeat the delta then there should be no problem. But in future just remember to make the status red manually as always we need to make be sure that no issues are faced.
alos i would sugest you to be a bit cautious before you repat the infopackage becasue in case if even one delta is missed then you wil need to take lot of efforts in correcting the data. Some checks before repeat delta:
1) Try to anlyze why the error was faced
2) Check whether the job was cancelled or over in the source system.
3) Check the status of job in BW system, even if it is red then make the technical status red manually in montior.
4) Repeat the delta.

In you case you waont face any problem becasue you got a message to request the last data again. The reason for it was that your job was terminated in R/3 as well as BW.

In the Delete Overlapping Requests from Infocube Process there is an button Deletion Selections Check what are all the options selected in that there are some 3 check boxes like
a) Only Delete Requests from Same DTP
b) Only Delete Full DTP Requets
c) Only Delete DTP Requests from Same Source
if option B is checked it will work only for Full Requests not for Delta. Check the same in your system.
