Delta download of pricing data

Hi,
We want to activate the delta download of pricing data for our current CRM 4.0 scenarios. At present delta download is activated for bussiness partners as well as product from SAP R3 4.7 which are working fine. But in case of pricing, manually we have to check & start . Becoz of this we observed,the changed that occured in SAP R3 takes time to reflect into CRM system.

Thanks for the reply.
We have checked in the system n found settings are there.After the observation it found that for condition type 'A004' condition object 'DNL_COND_A004; the delta's not working wherein for Zcondition type & other conditions it's working.
And in CRMRFCPAR, DISCARDDAT flag is not set. For Consumar 'CRM' , both Initial & delta download type means * is defined also.
Please let me know if there is any condition type wise event registration is required.
Please advice.

Data Transfer from SAP ECC (Download) Use
You can use a data transfer for data synchronization between SAP ECC and SAP CRM to ensure the integrity of the data in SAP ECC and SAP CRM.
Data transfer is exclusively supported for condition usage A (pricing) and applications V, TX and M. The currently supported combination of usage and application can be found in the SAP CRM system table CND_MAPC_CNV_UA.
Features
The following download options are available for data transfer in SAP ECC:
●      Initial download
●      Delta download
●      Request download (correction option)
The Customizing settings for pricing must be made in SAP ECC. These are then transferred to SAP CRM using an initial download. The Customizing download can only take place via an initial download.
Initial Data Exchange
●      The initiative comes from SAP CRM.
●      Transfer of complete condition data for the selected download object.
●      The initial exchange can be used for both Customizing data and condition data.
Delta Data Exchange
●      The initiative comes from SAP ECC.
●      When creating or changing condition data, the changes are automatically transferred to SAP CRM.
●      Only the changed data records are transferred. Data records that were not changed are not transferred in the delta download. Filter criteria previously set in the download object of the initial download are also taken into account during the delta download. The same download object is used in the delta download.
Request Download
●      The initiative comes from SAP CRM.
●      Selection of a download object for which data should be exchanged (for example: all conditions for a certain customer).
Restrictions
Not all functions in SAP ECC pricing are supported by SAP CRM. You should therefore consider the differences in pricing in SAP CRM and SAP ECC before the data transfer.
Starting the Delta Download
Procedure
       1.      From the CRM Server menu screen, select Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Data Exchange ® Delta Load from R/3 Back-End ® Set Up Delta Load.
The Object Class Activation screen appears.
       2.      Select ZGE01 as the business object you want to prepare for the download, then choose Save

Essentially after you download the pricing related customizing data from ECC into CRM, you have to download the conditions. the standard conditions get downloaded without any issues since the download adapters are defined already. However, for downloading custom conditions in ECC, you have to do further configuration. You have to define the adapter objects and do the initial download of those conditions. Object Class Invalid when downloading the pricing procedure from ECC to CRM

Hi,
I want to download the pricing procedure for that I have created the ZDNL_CUST_CND which contains only the following tablesT683, T683S, T683T and T683U.
When I check in R3AM1 status is Red.
The following Error have been found in SLG1
     Object class invalid
     Error in inbound data check
Message no. CND_MAP120
Diagnosis
During the receiving inspection, serious errors were found in the consistency of the exchange object.

     Data exchange terminated

Diagnosis
Data exchange has been terminated due to serious errors. No exchanged data has been posted in the system.

Please try to re-generate the adapter object (ZDNL_CUST_CND) services using trx.
SMOGGEN
. After this, try re-running the load.
I assume that your CRM inbound mapping module are correctly coded. If the problem persists, try de-registering the R3AD_CONDITIONS inbound queue using trx.
SMQR
and then debugging the inbound queue from the same trx. after re-starting the load.

CRM exchange rate delta download from ECC

Hi experts,
We are trying to download the exchange rate from ECC for the delta scenario. I've tried to schedule a job to run the program SMOF_DOWNLOAD with Object DNL_CUST_BASIS3, but it comes up with an err, which says "Error 004 DNL_CUST_BASIS3: No Initial Load if data distribution is active. Use Synchron. Load". Will anyone advice how to achieve the delta download for exch rate from ECC to CRM or what i did wrong in the program execution?

Is there a delta download for DNL_CUST_BASIS. We have one for currency, have not been able to find any others.

Hi John,
No delta load is permitted for any customizing object. If you need to update the data reguliualry you can scheule an initial load as a background job in SM37, program SMOF_DOWNLOAD. Typically this could be run overnight. See also note 1621130.

Delta download of material with filter on "ZFIELD" not working :-(

We have made a new field in basicdata of the material master (table MARA). We would like our EBP material filter to react on the value of this field. But it's not working
In table SMOFFILFLD we have added the new field: Objekt MATERIAL table MARA field ZOVEBP. Now the field is available for the filter setup in R3AC1. I then setup the filter for the field
TABLE FIELD OP LOW HIGH Incl./Excl
MARA ZOVEBP CP Contains Pattern X I Inclusive defined set/array
If I try making the filter on a standard MARA field ie. MATNR it working just fine...

I have a way to find out why? ( I see no reply on this thread! let me give a try)
open the function module CRS_FIRST_DOWNLOAD_TRIGGER and load the data and debug the steps with as minimum material as possible; you can change the filter at R3AC1 to different product category which has less materials and do the debugging during this initial load.
Let us know what was the error!

i dont know how to activate the Delta download?.

Hi Geetha
Synchronization download allows you to synchronize inconsistent datasets on various databases. This can be controlled in time slots or can be triggered manually.
1. Creating a Request
Choose Middleware -->Data Exchange --> Synchronization --> Define Requests.
To define a new data request, choose Display --> Change and New Entries.
Enter data for the request.
In object name enter CUSTOMER_MAIN
2. Starting the Request
Choose Middleware --> Data Exchange -->Synchronization --> Synchronize Objects.
A selection screen appears. Enter the objects to be synchronized or use F4 input help to select objects. Choose Execute to start synchronizing the data.
3. Monitoring Request
Choose Middleware --> Data exchange --> Synchronization --> Monitor requests
Enter an object name or a range of object names. Use the input help or of you want to display all the objects, do not enter an object name at all. Choose Execute.

frameworks/libs/datavisualization.swc in the Flex 3 SDK at
sdks/moxie in your Flex Builder 3 installation. The source code for
the data visualization components is not provided. As far as I know

Pricing date and free goods

Hello Folks,
My understanding is Free goods is determined basically based on quantity as in quantity ordered.
The system re-reads free goods condition record in the sales order when quantities of the main item changes or when Pricing Date changes.
Based on the above, I need to clarify :
1. If free goods is based on quantity, how does a change in the pricing date affect the determination? I assume the by pricing date change, it is referring to the pricing date setting in a free goods condition record.
So, I am not sure why pricing date change requires a re-determination of the condition record for free goods.
Or is it because free goods is determined based on $ amount of goods ordered?
Moreover, its said that when Pricing is Re-Run, free goods determination is un-affected.

Hi,
Free goods can be of two types. Inclusive and Exclusive.
Inclusive discount are always value discount. What I mean is, if you buy 10 qty of an item, say 2 qty is free, then, it means, 20% off on the original price. i.e. only 8 are billed and 2 are discounted from pricing.
In exclusive free goods, you are shipping 10 qty of an item + 2 qty of the same item in addition to 10. So, 10 are billed.
When the pricing date in the sales order is changed, how will the system know whether the item being priced on a particular day should allow the free goods or not. So, free goods determination becomes necessary. Hence, it goes thro' free goods determination when you change the pricing date on the sales order.

Service Desk: Pricing data for partner could not be read

I am trying to configure the Service Desk functionality for Service Providers (on EHP1).
I follow the SAP Documentation (SAP Solution Manager: Service Desk for Service Providers) and SLA's made easy in SAP Solution Manager. Also some discussion threads helped me with some steps (I applied e.g. the recommendation from Pricing data for partner 106 could not be read. , but it didn't help).
I am facing some errors related to the CRM part of the configuration.
When I create Service Desk Contract (SLFV) in CRMD_ORDER, the error appears Pricing data for partner xxx could not be read. I checked the setting of BP and I am not able to find the reason, for customer's (sold-to-party) BP the sold-to-party > Sales Area Data the Sales Organization/Distribution Channel/Division are maintained. Which information for pricing is needed and where can it be configured?
Another error - I am sure it is related to the first one - the service contract cannot be determined in the service message (in Item details view under product). The error messages are about sales area/organization, so I suppose there is something wrong with the link Service Contract -> Business Partner definition.
Could you please help me what can cause the error?

my problem was solved when I double checked the settings of org structure. That means there must be a consistent setting for sales organization / distribution channel / division in businness partner (tcode BP), organizational model (PPOMA_CRM), product workbench (COMMPR01). The setting must be same for both the sales department of the service provider and the customer's company (I am sorry I am not CRM, so I am following just this simple logic)
In the long text of the error (in CRMD_ORDER) I could see "expected" combination for sales organization / distribution channel / division (message e.g. The access was carried out with sales organization 'O 50000613', distribution channel '01' and division '') -> when the org model was set up everywhere in this way, the contract was automatically filled by the organization data and in the next step the contract could be determined in the service desk message.
Anyway it took some time to find out the correct combination. Deeper CRM knowledge would help me much.

Maintain a condition record for Rs.10/- with a validity date (only as an example) as 1st March'14 to 15th March'14. Another condition record for Rs.15/- with validity date as 16th March'14 to 31st March'14.
Now create a sale order for 500 nos. with one line item and change the pricing date as 15th March'14. Similarly, create another line item for the same material with 500 nos. and here, change the pricing date as 16th March'14 at line item level. By doing so, system would fetch the pricing in billing accordingly.
I told as per my knowledge System will bring old price only for reserved stock if you want to apply new price for reserved stock just 411 e return the stock from reservation and now create sales order

Your understanding is incorrect. System will never validate pricing based on age of the stocked material but based on validity period what you maintain in condition record.

Pricing date on sales orders

Hi Gurus,
I have the following requirement: When the user is creating an order and put the Request Delivery Date equal to "tomorrow", the pricing date should NOT be the today's date but it has to be "tomorrow" date.
Is there a BADI to be used to recalculate the pricing date at item level accordingly to the Reuqest Date by the user?

U will get order guid in parameter IV_REF_GUID. Using this u have to use FM CRM_ORDER_READ and get the item details from order ( ET_ORDERADM_I).
Now loop in the ET_ORDERADM_I and using ET_ORDERADM_IET_ORDERADM_I-GUID
again read the order by passing the above guid to it_item_guid. Here u will get the et_schedlin_i details
for the corresponding item where u will get the requested date (LATEST_TIME_CONFIRMED). Now u
just pass this date to changing parameter CS_PRICING_BADI-PRICE_DATE. This will change the
pricing date for items while saving the order.

Problem with initial download of a data object

Dear All,
I have created a data object named "EQUIPMENT", which has three nodes. EQUIPMENT is the header node, DETAILS is the child node to EQUIPMENT and LOCATION is the child node to DETAILS. I have also done explicit key mapping to DETAILS and LOCATION.
I have selected the following as the BE Keys in the nodes.
SERIAL NO in EQUIPMENT header node.
TYPE in DETAILS node.
ZIPCODE in LOCATION node.
In the explicit key mapping of DETAILS node we have selected "SERIAL NO" field in this node.
In the explicit key mapping of LOCATION node we have selected "SERIAL NO" and "TYPE" fields in this node.
Data object contains no errors and i have activated the data object and it was successful.
Then i have also created back adapter which has EQUIPMENT get list and get detail. Get list returns only serial numbers (which is the BE key in EQUIPMENT node). Get detail takes "serail no" as input, returns "DETAILS" and "LOCATION" data in tables parameter. I have tested the get list and get detail interfaces, they are working fine. Then i have activated back end adapter and that was successful.
Now i have triggered an initial download for the "EQUIPMENT" data object, but there is no data downloaded into the data object. I have checked the monitoring in administration portal, it is showing status "Ended with errors", but there is no details of an error.
So can you please let me know what could be mistake i have done or how to check what is the error. Please help us to resolve the issue.

Are you checking in the NWMA>>Monitoring>>Logs and Traces>>Backend Integration? The logs should have the proper error.
If not can you regenerate the DO, edit and activate your adapter and try again?
