Delta Field for CRM Datasources

Dear All,
I am using the CRM datasources such as
0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H
0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_I
0CRM_SRV_CONFIRM_H
0CRM_SRV_CONFIRM_I.
I just want to know the delta for this datasources.. Please suggest.

I have checked the table and find the field called "Delta". It is specified as
AIMD -After-Images with Deletion Flag Via Delta Queue (e.g. BtB)
I just want to know what is the delta field for this datasource.

Dear Martin,
The CO-PA DataSources generated use a separate time stamp method for the delta procedure. This procedure means that client-independent DataSources in CO-PA are normally restricted to the clients in which they were generated.

Need to help to Initialise delta for CRM datasources

Hi all,
I am currently working on CRM Extraction. I am using the datasource 0CRM_SERVICE_CONFIRM_I datasource. I have loaded the data to ODS.I am trying run Init delta without data transfer.
While running, i am getting the error message as
-> Activation of M records from DataStore object 0CRM_CNFI terminated
-> Full updates already available in DSO 0CRM_CNFI; Cannot update init./delta
Can u please provide me how to enable delta for CRM Datasources.

Delta field for LO Extractor Datasources

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how to find the delta field for LO Extractor. Because currently i am facing some problem in Delta like, if i do any changes in sales order in Item Level those changes are not reflected in RSA7. And the next change if i do it in header level i cld see the change along with my previos change being displayed. Problem is i dont find as seperate record for my changes in ITEM level.
Ex. x 3040404 001 oooo ppppp oooo hhhh kkkk
3040404 001 oooo bbbbb oooo hhhh kkkk - this is for header level chnage
Item level chnage: Not shown as seperate records
Next header change displayed properly as above.
Pls advise me this is a very urgent issue.

Onething to tell is i am handling diff clients. All my clients r using 3.5 except this client. Very Unfortunate. They r using 2.1c. Its long back i used this version
In LBWE i found they have only one update type i.e V3 update.
I have checked SM13 also. There is one update records for each change in header level data. Also this time i found when i change Route i found one update record. But not when i change Schedule line date.
Pls let me know if u need any further info. Anyideas welcome.

Delta issue in CRM datasource

Hi all,
There's a DS 0crm_oppt_h from which delta records to be loaded into BI.But delta records are not getting pulled into the BI system.
I have checked the settings for delta records in bwa5,bwa7,smw01,smw02,smqr, everything is fine. But still Iam not getting the delta records.
Is there any thing am missing in checking or is there any other way to pull the deltas from CRM datasource.

Hi,
First of all, CRM datasources will not have setup tables....they are not part of LO Extraction
Secondly, Did you check in RSA7 and SMQ1.
Please check RSA7 first and see if this DS is available and check the if the no of LUW's is not equal to zero.
Then check SMQ1 too.
if the entries for this datasource are zero in either cases....it means that there is no new delta data that has to be pulled into BI.
To test if the DS is working fine, make some data postings on CRM end. Then Run RSA3 and check if it picks any delta on Source system side.
Also check and RSA7 and SMQ1 again. once u find the new entries in the these T-codes, plz run delta Infopack and DTP

Delta field for Data Source 0BP_RELATIONS_ATTR

Hi Experts,
I need to know how to find which field is Delta enabled for standard Data Sources.
In my requrement for Data Source 0BP_RELATIONS_ATTR.
As the Data Source is being accessed by BODS sysetm and they need to know the Delta field to extract delta.

Hi,
I would suggest you to create a new sales document and try to find out how does it the new entry is entered in VBUK, VBUP, VBEP and VBBE tables. Also, try to change / modify and delete existing record and see the changes in the table. You need to check which date fields or any deletion indicator is set / modified or not. Do all this one by one and see the changes in the tables. Also, all these changes will be logged in change log table such as CDHDR and CDPOS. This will have all the history of changes for one sales document. Once you identify all this then it will be very easy for you to identify the delta fields. The other way is to speak to functional consultant and ask him how all these tables are affected when you change / modify / add / delete records.

I am using Inventry Cube 0IC_C03 i am loading the data from R/3 data source 2LIS_03_BX. i have loaded 55 records first time , now i want do the delta loads , but in LBWE not able to find out this datasource so please can u anyone help me how we will do delta loads for this 2LIS_03_BX DSource , where we i will setup for the delta .please anyone give me the detail steps

Hi KK,
For 2LIS_03_BX data source you cannot load DELTA because it is only for stock initialization. That is why you cannot find this in LBWE.
Once you load this INIT stocks in BW you can have delta for 2LIS_03_BF and 2LIS_03_UM in LBWE.

Time Stamp Delta field for Generic Data Source

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to create a Generic Data Source based on view. This view on PA0006 and PA0105 tables.
Will you please suggest me which field i have to take as delta field.

Also, make sure that whenever a new record is created in those tables, field AEDTM is getting updated with system date else you will miss new records in delta unless there is a change in those newly created records.

Delta functionality for LO datasource 2LIS_06_INV for enhanced Z fields

Hi Experts,
We have enhanced standard data source 2LIS_06_INV by appending some Z fields. When we are doing full load values are getting populated for the entire Z field but when we are running delta request, values for some Z fields are not getting populated.I have put the code to extract the value for Z fields in user exit under include ZXRSAU01.
If any one have faced this isuue , Please help me out .

Ur error is a very common error
need not panic
this can be solved
check whether all the v3 jobs are maintained properly or not
check whether the datasource is in active status or not

Delta-Specific Field for Generic DataSource

I have defined a Generic DataSource for Transaction data on R/3-Side.
This DataSource is based on View/Table EKKO (Purchasing Document Header) for some specific customer requirements. Delta-Specific Field is AEDAT (Calend. Day). Safety Interval Upper Limit is set 1 Cal. Days. No Safety Interval Lower Limit has been defined. "New Status for Changed Records" has been marked.
When we see this DataSource in Extractor Checker (RSA3), this data source
Extracted all delta data where AEDAT is not blank.
When I see the content of table EKKO, I can find few records where AEDAT is blank.
These records are missing in Extractor Checker.
How I can solve this problem? Which delta-specific field can be used in
this generic Datasource? Should I define an additional Generic DataSource with
Delta-Specific Field BEDAT (as BEDAT is filled when AEDAT is blank in table EKKO)?

Delta based on calday wont pick all the records which are recently posted and you can not run the delta more than one time in a day ,end of the day only you can run the delta.
Set the delta as Tme Stamp and specify the Upper limit to 5 minuts.
We can run the delta no. times and pick the documents posted in short interval of time.

Delta update for 0FI_AR_4 DataSource

We have a couple of reports (Infoprovider ODS) which are based on the 0FI_AR_4 DataSource. We have enhanced the Datasource and added 7 to 8 fields from SD and FI region. For enabling delta current mapping is: UPDMOD (R/3) field mapped to 0RECORDMODE (BW).
One of the enhanced FI field is Collection Specialist. If this Collection Specialist Master record is changed for a particular Customer, all the newly generated Accounting Document shows the current Collection specialist but the already existing Accounting Document in BW are not getting converted to the current Collection Specialist.
Enhancement Code for 2 fields:
1. SELECT SINGLE KLIMK FROM KNKK INTO V_KLIMK
         WHERE KUNNR = l_s_dtfiar_3-KUNNR AND KKBER = l_s_dtfiar_3-KKBER.
     IF SY-SUBRC = 0.

Hi,
I hope you have written the codes in R/3 side.And whenever the Collection Specialist Master record is changed for a particular Customer, all the newly generated Accounting Document show the current Collection specialist but the already existing Accounting Document in BW will not converted to the current Collection Specialist since the data in BW is old data and no logic is written to convert the same.
Try to incorporate the logic to convert in BW also.
I could suggest is whenever there is change in Collection Specialist Master record , try to trigger a delat record generation that updates the old accounting doc withnew master in the delta load.

I am creating a generic datasource based on table EKBE. Can anyone please tell me what field should I use for delta. Is it BUDAT(Posting Date in the Document) or CPUDT(Day On Which Accounting Document Was Entered).

BUDAT is the date which can be changed. I can change the date in system and chances are it will not pick in delta.
CPUDT is the date on which document was created/changed.

I am working in BI 7.0 environment with 3.x dasources. I have a datasource 0RPM_FI_DATA, I loaded full load first and now i am trying to do init beofre going to delta. But i am not INIT or Delta option in Infopackage screen. then i had look in the rsa6, Delta update option is not enabled for that datasouce.
So, Can anybody explain to me how can i make this Datasource as Delta enabled.
How can i do delta loads. For every clue, points will be awardable.

I created a Customized DataSource with Full Upload and replicated DS in BW ,now i want to creat Dalta Upload for the same Data Source is it possible can i do ,is there any method or settings to be done to get Delta upload update..

Hi Bhanu,
What is the Safety Upper & Lower limits you have given for your Generic Delta(RSO2 trans). That also matters.
Give Safety Upper limit as 0 & Lower Limit as 1, Replicate the DS once in BW & then try to load Delta.
If possible Delete the Init--> Load the Init again & then try loading Delta after changing the Safety limits & loading INIT.
