Flat file load supports delta.

but the problem is you cannot do this delta for direct upload of masterdata.
We have 3 types of Delta for this.
Delta with status "new" : Here the after image will be transfered and the ODS should be in overwrite mode to allow this to happen
Additive Delta : Here the before image and after Image are transfered. the ODS should be in Additive more
Psuedo Delta : This is type ofa full load that will delete the previous load if you are running the load with same or similar selections.

Then your hard drive is full. You need to move large libraries to another location (like an external drive). Libraries like iPhoto, iTunes, and even iMovie Events, are very big space hogs.

We have upgraded our systems from 4.6C to EHP4. After upgrade some texts are missing. We are trying import languages part of support packages by SMLT (Language --> Special Actions --> Import Support Packages).
At first step system tells me:

All imported Support Packages appear in the table below. Those Support Packages whose
language parts you want to import are already selected. You can now change the preselection
made by the system, if necessary. In most cases you should accept the proposal made by
the system.
We have copy some of the packages sytem needs to EPS/in. But we cannot find some packages system needs. They are below:

Hello Noyan,
please check table PAT13 in SE16; you'll see that these packages are listed in column SEC_NAME. Please refer to the main package that it belongs to on the PATCH column - this is the main package file that you should look for in SAP MarketPlace and unpack in EPS/in. Then you can repeat the process, it'll find the missing Meta-Commandfiles and continue w/o problems.
By the way, please check note #1508122, it might be that you have the incorrect language package installed on your system. This note explain in details how to check and install the correct language package on your system.

BPC delta flat file upload possible?

Hi experts,
Ive been trying to find an answer of whether or not it is possible to retain member data on manual flat file upload into a dimension. We have created a dimension (employee) and have created some dummy nodes member data and would like to determine if it is possible to then keep this manual member data while manually loading further member data through flat file load. Is this sort of manual flatfile delta load possible? If so how? What is best practice here?
Also, is it possible to load data into a dimension using two methods IE manual upload file and then another form (IE BW load) without overwriting data? Im assuming this is where the merge data option comes in to play.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi Danielle,
While uploading data, if you have added dimension members manually, then, it never gets deleted untill and unless you specify for it.
In your scenario, you have created dummy members and want to upload data thru flat file. Then, the data will be uploaded only for those members for which you want to upload data, rest of the members will display the old data.
As you rightly said earlier, while running data manager package, you need to select MERGE option instead of REPLACE & CLEAR data values. This keeps the old data intact and adds the new ones as well.

Considering very huge size of the files and then further delay in processing the same , is there a way to create small size files with delta extraction of records in each file? how to achieve this using ABAP code , for example, considering the date and time stamp etc?

as of i know the delta load is nothing but the what are all the changes are made for the data that all can get by using the date or time .
full load means get the all the data from the database.

How do I delte a file that will not allow itself to be placed in Trash?

I have a file on my iMac (running OS X 7.7.5) and I just noticed a file on the destop that looks like an Xcel file, however its name
is "C6C1C450" with NO .XLXS tag on it. I cannot be moved from its location in the very uppermost right-hand corner of the screen,
and I cannot drag it to the trash. If I attempt to do so I get a window that says"The item “C6C1C450” can’t be moved to the Trash
because it can’t be deleted." I now suspect that it is not really an Xcel document at all. How do I get rid of it?

I cannot explain how this file came to be on the desktop! I was straightening things up this morning and there it was. I forgot to mention that the file cannot be opened by double-clicking on it, nor can it be dropped into Xcel to open it. ( It doesn't even show up in the Xcel applications Open command window when I look at the "desktop" listing of items.) That's why I feel that it is probably not really an Excel file.

Is it OKAY to delte render files once a project completed?

I am feeling the FCP 6th sense that I should NOT delete my render files even once I've completed a project. If I want to revisit that project and I've deleted my render files from the render files folder on my hard drive, what happens? They are taking up a lot of space (167GB!) and it's slowing down my system.

Sure, you can delete the render files. The worst thing that will happen is that if you later want to go back and work on that project, you will need to re-render everything. Personally, I tend to archive my rendered files as well as my captured files off of my main system. That way, if I do need to go back to a project, getting ready to work doesn't take nearly as long.

How to delte a file from CC

I am trying out the free CC to get a feel for it before my company upgrades completly, I have uploaded 1 single image to play
around with, can make folder etc move file etc, but cannot see any where to delete the image, all i get is "Actions" create, upload, search
the video clip at adobe tv shows a way to delete files but the buttons are not available, could some one help out here please, I will also
need to no how to delete folder.

Deleting files is a two-part process. First you Archive the file, and then you Permanently Delete the file from the Archive. Think of files being moved to the Windows Recycle Bin or the Mac OS X Trash. You then clear the Recycle Bin or Trash.
To delete an individual file in the Grid View click on the triangle in the lower right of the thumbnail and from the menu select Archive.
To delete multiple files switch to the List View and check the boxes for the files you want to delete. Then from the blue button that appears click on it and again select Archive.
Now that your files are in the Archive switch to the Archive view by clicking on the Archive View icon, it looks like a filing cabinet.
Once in the Archive there is only a "list view". This time you will select Permanently Delete from the menu.

File Not found error when calling Form Post Method to a JSP from JSP Portlet

I have built a set of JSP forms using post method to call other JSPs. Normally, the code looks like

I migrated the calling form containing this code to a portlet, but not the MyJsp.jsp. When I submit the form, I get a file not found in Jserv.log
Exception:javax.servlet.ServletException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: D:\servlet\RegisterCompany.jsp (The system cannot find the file specified)

I notice that launching the calling jsp from a portlet, my opriginal context that uses ../Apache/Apache/htdocs is not being searched for the JSp. Why is this? Moreover, I try to set up an Alias in httpd.conf file to the this director and use it with the jsp in the action tag, but still get an error that my jsp servlets/Myjsp can't be found. Why is it insiting on looking at servlets context instead of htdocs.
I have none of these issues outside of Portal30 using IAS.

Initially, I couldn't do this unless I moved tghe jsp's up to the root directory of IAS, i.e ../Apache/Apache. Nomrally, htdocs is my doc directory for IAS. I could not do http:\\myUrl\htdocs\myJsp. If I tgried this, I got an error in Apache error logg that said can't find file ..\htdocs\htdocs\MyJsp.jsp.
If I just tried the the URL http:\\myUrl\MyJsp.jsp with Jsp file in htdocs, I would get an error in the Jserve log that file d:\oracle\isuites\apache\apache\MyJsp.jsp could not be found. Once I moved the file MyJsp to Apache/Apache directory, it could be found using http:\\myUrl\MyJsp.jsp. Later, I delted these files and kept the ones in htdocs and they continued to work.
I'm confused why launching pages through portal isn't consistant with Apache Standards. Where is the documentation that tells me how to configure context and aliases for pages launched from portal pages?

Where is the Contacts Master file when using iCloud?

     It used to be when I used "MobileMe", I was very clear about where my Master file was for my CONTACTS (fka Address Book) information. I could make changes on my iMac and then push them to my iPhone and iPad and evrything worked and synce perfectly (via iTunes).
     When iCloud replaced MobileMe nothing seems to be right anymore. Updates on my phone don't show up in my iMac Contacts. All my contacts in my iMac are now duplicated to most things are there twice. And I'm afriad to deactivate iCloud becasue of the onmious "...iCloud will delter these files from your device." message.
     Could you possibly have taken something that worked so well and screwed it up any worse?
     I am a long time APPLE user and I have "gotten" most things that Apple has done in the past 20 years. But iCloud seems to confound me on numerous levels.
     Where should I make changes and updates to my Contacts files so it flows to all my devices?
     Why does the Contacts file in my iMac now have duplicate entires?
     Why don't iCalendar updates I make in my iPhone transfer over to my iCalendar on my iMac?
     Is anyone else having troubles with something the used to work so perfectly?

iCloud uses a server-client model in which your contacts and calendars reside in your account on Apple's iCloud server. Your computers and iOS devices simply interact with the data on the server. When any client device makes a change on the server, that change should be immediately seen by the other client devices signed into your account. That said, changes should be bi-directional; any change made on one device should be replicated on the others. Since that's not happening for you, something isn't working properly. To troubleshoot this, you start by determining wich of your devices is the problem. Open you contacts on icloud.com (the "master" list), then add a test contact on your phone and on your Mac and see which one fails to appear on icloud.com. Then do the same thing with your calendar: add a test event on your phone and your Mac and see which one fails to appear on your calendar on icloud.com.
Let me know your results and we'll take it from there.

How does delta know the value of keyfigures to substract?

I was wondering... I have a delta load to a ODS. The delta would go like this:
doc nr.     item nr.     qty
111111    0000010     15
111111    0000010     -15
111111    0000010     19
But how does the delta know that it has to subtract 15 before it adds 19? Is it just looking in the ODS for a record with the same primary key? In that case, how does it then know what to subtract when it is an infocube that is the target?

Delta Process is the Property of the Datasource as mentioned by Tripple K.
You can go to table ROOSOURCE in OLTP (R/3) sytem and check the property of the Datasource for which you are extracting the data.
And also you can see table RODELTAM to see details about a particular Delta Process Type.
RODELTAM table contains the details abt DELTA PROCESS like
ABR, A, ADD, AID, AIED, AIM ets
Delta only with Full Upload (ODS or InfoPackage Selection)
A ALE Update Pointer (Master Data)

The Datasource contains a field called ROCANCEL which is mapped to 0RECORDMODE in BW(if ODS is present in BW Data Flow). The Role of this field is to indicate the Cancellation of data record , similarly the field 0RECORDMODE determines whether the records are added to or overwritten. It determines how a record is updated in the delta process: A blank character signifies an after image, X a before image, D deletes the record and R means a reverse image.
By mapping ROCANCEL to 0RECORDMODE the data extraction and concept of delta is realised in BW.
So while modelling the Data Flow in BW and Delta mechanism in BW the Datasource property (ROOSOURCE and RODELTAM) plays a vital role in Modelling.
Basically this ROCANCEL Field will have values like "blank" - after image, and "X" - before image and if you check in RSA7 for the records extracted in your last delta run you will find multiple records for same key fields, as there are multiple images (After, Before, Reverse etc) depending on Delta Process of Datasource.

How to show signature definition delta

Is there a way to show just the modifications / tuning changes made to a default downloaded signature set?
Background - I've downloaded a signature set, tuned a specific signature-id to a deny event-action, and from what I understand changes are recorded in a sigdef-delta.xml file.
What I'm hoping to be able to do is issue a command that allows us just to identify the detlas in order to avoid a bunch of documentation.
Any help?

If you type 'sh conf' on the CLI on a modern 5.x sensor you will only get the configuration differences (such as different event-actions or different summary keys). The only alternative is to parse out the XML (found on the underlying OS) which is a pain to do (since the XML format isn't completely consistent).

RAF Delta HR - Accidents (Spain) (Altas y fallecimientos)

Do do know if it is possible to prepare/download this kind of XML format file from any existing SAP HR program ??
It is possible to execute both standard programs in order to get RATSB and PAT accident remittances XML files althougth, as far as I am concerned, there is no standard way to get RAF Delta XML file. Am I wrong??

Deleted files do not go to trash can

i.e. when i delte a file, it is gone forever. I cannot restore it since I see no files in trash can.
Also, installed windows on bootcamp, but does not detect cd rom driver.
Anyone know why?

1. Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/.Trash
2. Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Show Info
from the contextual menu. An Info dialog should open.
3. The dialog should show "You can read and write" in the Sharing & Permissions section. If that's not what it shows, click the padlock icon in the lower right corner of the window and enter your password when prompted. Use the plus- and minus-sign buttons to give yourself Read & Write access and "everyone" No Access. Delete any other entries in the access list.
4. In the General section, uncheck the box marked Locked if it's checked.
5. From the action menu (gear icon) at the bottom of the dialog, select Apply to enclosed items and confirm.
6. Close the Info window and test.
