Delta issue for 0FC_BP_ITEMS

Hello Gurus,
This is a question on Delta extraction for datasource 0FC_BP_ITEMS, which loads FI-CA data.
I am using the 0FC_BP_ITEMS to load FI-CA related information to 0FC_DS05.
The init load works fine. But when I execute the delta infopackage it returns 0 records.
I have done the settings in ECC-> IMG-> Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable->
Integration->Business Intelligence -> Make Central Settings
All my settings are ticked.
Any valuable inputs would help.

Hi,
which init u have run prior to delta, is it init with data tranfer or init w/o data transfer...
if u have run init with data tranfer it'll fetch all ur records from source and u can run ur delta....
if u have run init w/o data it'll load no records but jst initialize the delta and when u soon run the delta it'll also laod o records...
So, confirm firstly which init u have run....whatever u have initialized with or without after that if there are some new/changed records, then only ur delta extratcs records.....

I have one customized field 'ZCOORNAME' in the DS 2LIS_05_Q0NOTIF. I have changed this field in Tcode- QM02 and checked the changes in TCODE - LBWQ (Extraction Queue) and I got the Changed entry but now when i am trigerring the V3 Job, these changes are not getting populated in RSA7 (Delta Queue).
For standard field changes, it is capturing delta properly, the problem is with only customized fileds..Can anyone put some light on this issue ....
Can you pls le me know when will be the Customer Exit(CMOD) is going to hit ? Before the Delta Queue or After the Delta Queue or is it before the Extraction Queue / After the Extraction Queue ???

he customer exit is hit before the entries are populated in extraction queue. Actually, when the transaction is done, the changes are written to database table and at the same time into the extraction queue. Just before going to extraction queue, the custom fields get populated in customer exit.

SAP Mobile Sales 2.0 delta load issue for Sales Orders

Hello,
we have used Mobile Sales 2.0 with a Windows app for a while now. Our current issue is that sales reps won't see any historical sales order data on their devices.
Background
Due customer requirements, we need to make small changes to customer master data attributes and reload all customers from ERP to CRM. Then we ran delta loads (MAS_PARTNER followed by all other objects) to DOE, in which virtually all 5000+ customer accounts were compared. The delta load ran for about 3 days (some performance bottleneck we haven't located yet).
During the delta load, data on devices was inconsistent. Accounts were missing and all transaction data disappeared. After the delta loads, all accounts and contacts are OK, save for a few. Data from activities (appointments, tasks) have reappeared, as they should. Only sales orders won't reappear. The sales orders exist in the backend and belong to active accounts and sales reps.
Settings and troubleshooting so far
We don't have any limitations for sales orders in CRM Sales Mobile configuration.
We've run delta loads for all objects in transaction SDOE_LOAD.
MAS_CUSTOMIZATION etc seem fine.
We've re-run initial load for sales orders from CRM.
In the test system, we've even reinitialized the whole CDS database on DOE and on the devices, then re-ran the loads.
Checked steps suggested in discussion
SAP CRM 2.0 initial load issue
Historical sales orders (those created before the master data reload) exist in the backend, but don't show up on the device.
If I change one of those historical sales orders in the backend, it gets sent to the device.
If I create a new sales order in the backend or on the device, it is saved and replicated just fine.
To sum it up, it seems DOE is unable to identify the sales orders relevant for replication.

First Doubt i got clarify by my self as we can go with Unwired Runtime option .
But i still have doubt in :
2. How can i Modifying the Main Menu for iOS.
i am able to customize the same for windows using files SybaseCRM.Configuration.xml file.
Same how can i do for iphone/ipad.

GI quantity Delta issue with 2LIS_02_SCL

We are facing delta issue in the BI Prod. Hence to look into the issue, performed few steps in Test environment to check whether delta is performing or not. Mentioned below are the steps which are carried :
1. BW Setup
a. Deletion of queues for Purchasing data in ECC
b. Data collection of purchasing documents for March 1 u2013 March 31 in ECC
c. Deletion of source system initialization in BW
d. Loaded collected data into SAP as delta initialization
Result - OK
2. ECC data entry
a. Created PO #5052422, intracompany STO from DDP1 to USC1
i. 1 line item (qty 5) with two schedule lines (qty 2 & 3)
3. First delta run
a. BW brings over 2 schedule lines for PO #5052422
Result - OK
4. ECC data entry
a. Created PO #5052423, intercompany from DDP1 (USC1) to IRP3 (BV11)
i. 1 line item (qty 5) with two schedule lines (qty 2 & 3)
5. Second delta run
a. BW brings over 2 schedule lines for PO #5052423
Result - OK
6. ECC data entry
a. Posted partial delivery for schedule line 1 of PO #5052422 with a quantity of 1
7. Third delta run
a. no records brought over (change to GI quantity should trigger delta)
Result - FAIL
8. ECC data entry
a. Posted partial delivery for remainder of schedule line 1 of PO #5052422 with and a partial delivery for schedule line 2 with a quantity of 1

a. no records brought over (change to GI quantity should trigger delta)

Ques :
1) When modified, GI quantity is not triggering delta. Please advise.
2) 2LIS_02_SCL extractor is build on which delta field.

Good afternoon Rehka,
I believe that it is correct that the GL change you mention will not trigger a delta on the BW side. This functionality appears to be missing.
If you check in LBWE you will see that the EVENTS for 02: Purchasing -> MC02M_0SCL include the following:
MA: Purchase order
MB: Goods receipt
MC: Invoice receipt
MD: Scheduling agreement
The event associated with a Goods Issue is ML and not included in the list of events for this structure. This is the standard behavior.
I checked and I was unable to find a datastructure that does handle event ML. From what I see the only way to do this is through a custom datasource.

Delta Loads for 2lis_02_scl and 2lis_02_itm

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue, After initializing the setup tables and doing the init load for 2lis_02_scl and 2lis_02_itm whenever I do the delta loading for these two, all the dataload finish with green status and extracting 0 from 0 records.
I can see the queues for both these datasources in RSA7 in R/3, yet no record is extracted.
Any help will be appreciated.

have a look into transaction smq1. there you should be able to see your extraction queues with the entry MCEX02 (or likewise)
Please schedule the program RMBWV302 and when this one is finished, start the deltapackage.

ODP Data Source Delta issue 2lis_11_VAHDR 2lis_11_VAKON

Hi Expert,
I am pulling the data from SAP using ODP data sources. 2LIS_11_VAHDR 2LIS_11_VAITM 2LIS_11_VAKON.
For all the data sources I am doing the initloads. For 2LIS_11_VAITM data source after init load its enabling the delta.
For remaining data sources even if you try to pull the delta it's loading full load.
Steps I am following
LBWG do the deletion of setup tables.
OLI7BW fill the setup tables.
Run the data services job which pull the initial load. It loads all the data.
Change the ODP data source settings to Init load to No (Capture only delta)
In SMQ1 all the delta records will be captured
Run the Jobs which pull the delta records to ODQMON from there if you run Job in data services it has to pull the Delta records.
This is happening for 2LIS_11_VAITM but not for other data sources 2LIS_11_VAHDR and 2LIS_11_VAKON.
Event if you try to pull the delta records its loading all the records.
Can some one throw some light on this

In RSMO, go to the details tab and check in which stage the load has failed. If the issue is with extraction then go to Environment > Job Overview in the source system. Check if this job is complete.
I hope you must have cleared the Delta Queue, so now go and check if any entry is being displayed for 2lis_11_vahdr

I can not make delta load for some component of public sector management

Hello All:
I´am using these three data source 0PU_IS_PS_31, 0PU_IS_PS_32 and 0PU_IS_PS_42 and I realize that I can not make delta loads. When I make the full load everything is correct even when I made the delta, the problem is that the Delta load is not extracting any new data or changed data.
Do you have any idea to fix this issue?

Hello Victor,
As u have already tried the delta load,I assume that u have already done the init load too.As system will not allow u to do delta load without doing an init load first.
The first datasource u talked about..31..it needs new records created in table FMIOI table.
What happens is..if u run a delta load immediately after an init load,there might not be new or changed records created in the system..therefore there arent any records in the delta queue.
Could u try creating some commitment document transaction data,so that records get added in FMIOI table.Then see if the delta queue for this datasource shows any records.

Note that for 42 datasource..page says that delta update is not supported(though it does talk about updating delta queue).
For 32 datasource source tables are FMIFIIT and FMIFIHD.
For 42 datasource table is FMBDP.

Delta load for 2LIS_06_INV is failing after EHP5 upgrade of ECC system

Hi Experts,
Our ECC Production system was upgraded to EHP5 last weekend.
Since then Delta load for datasource 2LIS_06_INV is failing. This is the only datasource got impacted. Full Load and Initialization Loads are running fine. Only Delta load is failing because of following error:
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPMSSY1" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
The following syntax error occurred in program "/BI0/SAPLQI2LIS_06_INV " in
include "/BI0/LQI2LIS_06_INVU04 " in
line 1:
"Function "/BI0/QI2LIS_06_INV0002" not found in Function Library."

Resumable downloads and delta updates for App Store

Hi all,
since I didn't find any place where to add product improvement suggestions, I post it here and hopefully someone can point me (and or this post) to the correct location.
I'd like to vote for resumable downloads (even a shutdown is in between) and delta updates for the Mac App Store. The main reason for this are big apps (i. e. Xcode) which I simply can't update without having the mac running the whole day (and night).

Curious, are you on dial-up or satellite? As I live in a low-population state with lots of miles between towns of even modest size, I hear the slow connection issue a lot when helping users locally. We get 50mbps service in Lewiston, but people in the back country are struggling with some really slow satellite providers.

Delta update for spend analysis fails

Hi,
I am using Spend Analysis in BI 7.0. The delta upload for this gives 0 records.
I have checked RSA7. The data source shows 0 records even though new records are available in the line item table. Delta field is <b>TIMESTAMP</b>.
The data source is delta enabled but still RSA3 does not allow Delta extraction test.
Can anybody tell me how delta is loaded for spend analysis data and why RSA7 is not showing any records.
This is a very urgent issue. Points will be rewarded for helpful answers.

If solved already can you share the solution? I am stuck after init delta, a little research indicate there's some V1/V2/V3 updates that i need to set in R/3 and also delta queue..

There are 2 infopackages aand one ODS Activation brefore this inpackage(it is being updated by that ODS).

There is no active Init to ur DS is in place. And hence u need to take an Init.
Try to maintain different IP's one is for the Init and other one is for the Delta.... the one in the PC will be holds good for the Delta..
Try create an Init IP if its not there already and then proceed with the load... if there is no data in the target data target as of now.....
If u have data on the target but some one has deleted the Init flag then u need to check whether all the requests has got posted to the target data target or not.. if not u need to take care of the action accordinly with the initi-Withoutdata transfer and then proceed with the Deltas...

Delta load for 0customer

Hi Friends,
I have a issue in delta load for 0customer. The load was initialized with data transfer for the first time load ,The data was loaded succesfully , now we have enhaced the 0customer_attr with customer group .In RSA3 if we check we are getting values for customer group. we created one delta infopackage with update status as delta and scheduled the load .we are getting data load success status but with 0 records. Please can anybody share the process for delta load for master data objects. Iam facing similar problem while uploading delta load for 0MATERIAL.

in source system, check whether your enhanced field is with hide check box ticked.
As soon as you add filed in append structure by default it is having that field is hidden. You have to uncheck it.
Then replicate the datasource in BW.
Now if delta is the issue that you are not getting ant record, that may be because there is no change in master data, delta will only bring records when there will be nay change in master data update.
So my suggestion is to crate a full repair infopackage, extract everything in to PSA and then load the data with FULL DTP.

Delta Mechanism for LO Cockpit

Hi All,
Currently I am having an issue with an implementation on Sales Order. As understood from Generic DataSource that is available in transaction code SBIW. We are able to create a datasource with the ability to trace the changes that is occuring in a particular transaction by using either addtive delta or new status for changed record.
In Data Source, 2LIS_11_VAITM, which is only available in LO Cockpit, is it possible to have the same tracing too? As I know in LO Cockpit, we have the queued delta, direct delta and the unserialized v3 update, but this is not the delta that we would want.
Really need help urgently on this matter.

It works with the Business content datasource (because it is built in the extractor logic), eg 2LIS_11_VAITM.
This is what is confusing to many people. And it is same as file source system. In the file based DS, you do have an option of specifying whether it is a additive delta (in the datasource editor screen, at least it was till 3.5). This doesn't mean that the file will be read and system will compare from ? PSA or earlier load of the file and determine the delta to be pushed to BW. It means that we are saying that the file already contains delta.
Same here. When we specify additive delta, we are saying that the table/view already contains additive delta (and not that the generic extractor will apply the logic to derive the delta values for the KF).
Let us take an example, say you are storing stock market quotes in a spreadsheet or a table, and you want to move it to BW using generic extractor which loads the current prices to an ODS/Cube.
Let us say the data is like this
STOCK-ID--CLOSING_PRICE--
Movement_since_last_price
NYDE -
60 - -
3.5
HWP -
125 -
-1.25
and so on.
Now, if from this table (or file), you push STOCK_ID, and CLOSING_PRICE using your generic extractor, it is a 'new image' and that is what you should specify.
But, you can also instead push STOCK_ID and 'MOVEMENT' in which case it is an 'additive delta' and you should specify your DS as such.
If you only had STOCK_ID and MOVEMENT data in your table, your DS would have to be 'additive delta'.
I hope you understand it now. Your table data determines what delta type the generic DS is, you can not just specify it as you wish.
Why this setting is there - it tells BW what type of DS it is, so it can warn you if you are trying to load it to incompatible target. For example, if you had a 'new image' type DS, and you tried to load it directly to a cube, the system will give you a warning/error about it being incompatible.

Delta field for LO Extractor Datasources

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how to find the delta field for LO Extractor. Because currently i am facing some problem in Delta like, if i do any changes in sales order in Item Level those changes are not reflected in RSA7. And the next change if i do it in header level i cld see the change along with my previos change being displayed. Problem is i dont find as seperate record for my changes in ITEM level.
Ex. x 3040404 001 oooo ppppp oooo hhhh kkkk
3040404 001 oooo bbbbb oooo hhhh kkkk - this is for header level chnage
Item level chnage: Not shown as seperate records
Next header change displayed properly as above.
Pls advise me this is a very urgent issue.

Onething to tell is i am handling diff clients. All my clients r using 3.5 except this client. Very Unfortunate. They r using 2.1c. Its long back i used this version
In LBWE i found they have only one update type i.e V3 update.
I have checked SM13 also. There is one update records for each change in header level data. Also this time i found when i change Route i found one update record. But not when i change Schedule line date.
Pls let me know if u need any further info. Anyideas welcome.

Delta extraction for dunning history is not active

Hi all,
I am loading data to the FI Cube (Financial A/c -> Contract a/c receivables ) Dunning header .
This is a Standard infocube. This cube contains two DSOu2019S 0FC_DS08 , 0FC_DS11. When I starting the data loading from the DSO ( 0FC_DS08 ), I create the INIT package . When creating itself it throwing the error u201C Delta extraction for dunning history is not active u201D
When I check on SDN SAP , ( Use Tcode sbiw. Select 'Settings for apllication-specific datasources (PI) ->Contract Aacounts Receivable -> Make Central Settings'. Then tick 'Delta Extraction for Dunning Items Active'.) I got this link. But I could not proceed this link. Can you explain detailed step by step how to proceed to solve this issue.
