Delta issue in CRM datasource

Hi all,
There's a DS 0crm_oppt_h from which delta records to be loaded into BI.But delta records are not getting pulled into the BI system.
I have checked the settings for delta records in bwa5,bwa7,smw01,smw02,smqr, everything is fine. But still Iam not getting the delta records.
Is there any thing am missing in checking or is there any other way to pull the deltas from CRM datasource.

Hi,
First of all, CRM datasources will not have setup tables....they are not part of LO Extraction
Secondly, Did you check in RSA7 and SMQ1.
Please check RSA7 first and see if this DS is available and check the if the no of LUW's is not equal to zero.
Then check SMQ1 too.
if the entries for this datasource are zero in either cases....it means that there is no new delta data that has to be pulled into BI.
To test if the DS is working fine, make some data postings on CRM end. Then Run RSA3 and check if it picks any delta on Source system side.
Also check and RSA7 and SMQ1 again. once u find the new entries in the these T-codes, plz run delta Infopack and DTP

AIMD -After-Images with Deletion Flag Via Delta Queue (e.g. BtB)
I just want to know what is the delta field for this datasource.

Delta Problem with CRM Datasource 0CRM_OPPT_H

Hi gurus!
We are facing an issue with Delta of the DS 0CRM_OPPT_H.
use has created a record with particular Transaction ID in CRM system.
Now when the record is deleted the same is not updated in the BI system.
The change log shows a record is existant with Record Mode N. I doubt if the deletion of record carried at CRM isnt transferred to the BI system.
Kindly suggest onthe same, what to do incase of these scenarios?

Need to help to Initialise delta for CRM datasources

Hi all,
I am currently working on CRM Extraction. I am using the datasource 0CRM_SERVICE_CONFIRM_I datasource. I have loaded the data to ODS.I am trying run Init delta without data transfer.
While running, i am getting the error message as
-> Activation of M records from DataStore object 0CRM_CNFI terminated
-> Full updates already available in DSO 0CRM_CNFI; Cannot update init./delta
Can u please provide me how to enable delta for CRM Datasources.

Delta issue on a Generic Datasource

Hi
   I had a Generic Datasource on a Z table.
   The Z table had a Date field on which Delta is based.The Postings are performed manually.
How to solve the delta issue in the below scenario.
Ex; A user made a manual posting with a date 09AUG2010 today and delta is extracted to BW.
    But tommorow a used made another posting with a date 14JULY2010....
Currently that record is not being extracted....how can i resolve this

Hi,
Once the data source is created you will extract the data till that date and as the delta is set it will fetch the newly updated records .But i dont think one can post with the back dates in R/3 side.
If i'm not wrong if you are asking regarding record got missed out them wht need to be done?
Then do the repair full request and pull the missed delta records and it wont effect the delta settings.

Issue in CRM Delta upload to BW

Hi,
I need to configure the exchange of data between CRM 7.0 and BI 7.0. I am facing facing issue of Delta upload from CRM to BI. Initial upload to BI was successful but not working Delta. I need to download the activity and the opportunity. But in transaction RSA7 the delta queue displays 0 records for 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1, 0CRM_SALES_ACT_I, 0CRM_OPPT_H and 0CRM_OPPT_I. It's status is green. In the transaction SMW01 this BDoc red in an error state with the text "Could not determine module name: BUS_TRANSACTION_MESSAGE GENKEY: REP_GET_RECIPIENT" and "Service that caused the error: SMOH_REPLICATION_WRAPPER_MSG".

My scenario was delta was not getting loaded within BW ods and cube... Delta was getting captured from source system but it was not getting loaded from ODS--> ods/cube....
So i first deleted the data mart symbol from ODS (source) and then did the repeat delta...

CRM Datasources for Activities & Business Partner Address

Hi Experts,
Can you please help in understanding following issue?-
For both these datasources-
1) 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1
2) 0BP_DEF_ADDRESS
I can see huge queue stacked up in CRM side in tcode SMQ1/RSA7.
But delta loads for these datasources bring exactly 1 millions records every day and this is happening since last month.
Even after delta load completes, I don't see corresponding decrease in delta queue entries.
-For second datasource delta queue entries are varying around 21+ million records
-For first one its varying from 5 million entries to 7 million entries
It started happening around the time when people from CRM team loaded data in huge amounts in CMR from other lagacy systems. Historical data loads & conversion in CRM is finished long time back but queues for some cases are still stuck at big numbers.
-->When I double click on queue, following is the status-
"NOSEND"
-->Further double click on it gives following two types of entries-
a) Transaction Recorded
b) Message Edited in Target System
Any helpful responses are welcome.

In R/3 you can check
WB2_PARTNER_ADDRESS_CREATE
also confirm in which system u need to create the business partner address.

Delta Load from CRM- picking up 0 records

Hi Gurus,
Iam trying to load CRM data into BW ODS using datasource 0crm_quotation_I. This load used to work fine about a month ago in Delta mode. But it started failing and so I ( my colleague deleted all the old requests) did an full repair and then an Init w/o data and when i schedule teh delta iam getting 0 records. Can anyone please throw light on this?/
Also is this could be an issue with Delta queue in CRM?/

Hi rajani with Init the process will take long. just for 50000 records it took 3 hrs and if we do init it will load all teh records from CRM and will take plenty of time. so we did a selective full load and used a program to convert them into full repair and thn did an int...

Issues in CRM Quality

Hi,
We transported all our activated datasources to CRM Quality. Replicated the Data sources to BI Quality system and then transported the BI objects to BI Quality. All the objects are in active state in Quality systems.
But when I am trying to check the data in RSA3 its saying that Error occurred during the extractions" Message No: RJ012.
I did the testing in Development system. Every thing is fine in Development. I am facing this problem only in Quality.
This error is coming for all the CRM related DS.
I observed that in BWA5 Transaction check mark is there against the activated data sources in CRM development system. But the same is not there CRM Quality system even though the Datasources are active.
But we retransported the Datasources to Quality but still facing the same problem.
Basis person checked all the setting again in CRM Quality. He said everything is maintained as in CRM development.
Could you please suggest and help me in solving this issue.

GI quantity Delta issue with 2LIS_02_SCL

Hi Friends !
We are facing delta issue in the BI Prod. Hence to look into the issue, performed few steps in Test environment to check whether delta is performing or not. Mentioned below are the steps which are carried :
1. BW Setup
a. Deletion of queues for Purchasing data in ECC
b. Data collection of purchasing documents for March 1 u2013 March 31 in ECC
c. Deletion of source system initialization in BW
d. Loaded collected data into SAP as delta initialization
Result - OK
2. ECC data entry
a. Created PO #5052422, intracompany STO from DDP1 to USC1
i. 1 line item (qty 5) with two schedule lines (qty 2 & 3)
3. First delta run
a. BW brings over 2 schedule lines for PO #5052422
Result - OK
4. ECC data entry
a. Created PO #5052423, intercompany from DDP1 (USC1) to IRP3 (BV11)
i. 1 line item (qty 5) with two schedule lines (qty 2 & 3)
5. Second delta run
a. BW brings over 2 schedule lines for PO #5052423
Result - OK
6. ECC data entry
a. Posted partial delivery for schedule line 1 of PO #5052422 with a quantity of 1
7. Third delta run
a. no records brought over (change to GI quantity should trigger delta)
Result - FAIL
8. ECC data entry
a. Posted partial delivery for remainder of schedule line 1 of PO #5052422 with and a partial delivery for schedule line 2 with a quantity of 1
9. Fourth delta run
a. no records brought over (change to GI quantity should trigger delta)
Result - FAIL

a. Modified delivery date of both schedule lines of PO #5052422
11. Fifth delta run
a. Both schedule lines of PO #5052422 brought over with updated delivery dates and goods issue quantities

1) When modified, GI quantity is not triggering delta. Please advise.

Good afternoon Rehka,
I believe that it is correct that the GL change you mention will not trigger a delta on the BW side. This functionality appears to be missing.
If you check in LBWE you will see that the EVENTS for 02: Purchasing -> MC02M_0SCL include the following:
MA: Purchase order
MB: Goods receipt
MC: Invoice receipt
MD: Scheduling agreement
The event associated with a Goods Issue is ML and not included in the list of events for this structure. This is the standard behavior.
I checked and I was unable to find a datastructure that does handle event ML. From what I see the only way to do this is through a custom datasource.

Delta Issue in Generic data source

HI all ,
    I have a HR generic data source .which extracts only two records ffrom the source for so many days during delta.
   I checked in RSA3 .It shows 16000 records nearly. I did init without data transfer and then delta,still it picks onlys same 2 records .
   Delta setting in RSO2 is Numeric pointer with new status for changed records with field name as"cheque number"
   In BWdatasourceExtraction tab--Deltaprocess is AIE After Image by extractor.Iam not able to choose any other delta process type as it is built from R/3 .I think because of this process type.
anybody faced the same problem .. I tried many ways.. please guide me how to solve. this issue.

                    I checked RSA7 now and I found the problem .In RSA7 the pointer for cheque number is 991749. The delta record created has cheque number 005409 which is lesser than the pointer ,thats why the record is not picking i guess.
       now ,If this is the case ,How can I give delta field.The generic datasource is built on only one table PAYR ,and having cheque number and other fields as keys in the table PAYR.Date is not a key in the table. Please help how to proceed

Enhancing the CRM datasource

Hi experts,
i have to enhance the CRM datasource with some additional fields and fill them.
so far i am succesfull in doing the below.
1. i have appended the fields to the extractstructure and also regenerated the datasource
2. and when to the BADI for Messaging Flow for writing the code.
the problem here is its giving a small popup screen in which it has few implementations given by SAP in which do i need to put the code (i am assuming that its the same as our old exit concept where we use the same exit for all transaction datasoruces just by using the case statement) so in that four which one should i use for putting the code and what others are used for.
The below are the implementations available when i execute the badi for messaging flow.
CRM_BTX_EEW_BWA
CRM_BWA_ENHANCE_EX
CRM_BWA_ORDER_1
CRM_CSDR_BWA_MFLOW
If not a big trouble i will be greatfull if somebody can give me the code sample for getting a field filled from someother table with simple logic.

BWA1 is for all standard crm datsource maintaince
rsa2 for generic datasource
BWA5 i think we use this Tcode after RSA5 activation additionally.
yes(incase of delta)
BWA7 do we have to use this tcode along with BWA1 for standard datasources also or else only for generic datasource.
irrespective of the type of dtasource,use it if you want to load delta(you need to delta enable the datasource here)
So we don't need to put the code as we traditionally do it for R/3 , if we just mapp the fields that would bring the data for these fields.
as i told in CRM we willwrite code in BADI in case you have done enhancement

CRm enhancement:
1. Enhance Extract Structure with the required fields. (Create & include an append structure to the extract structure via transaction RSA6).
2.a) Release the fields of the append for usage. ( To do this, double click on the Datasource and remove the flags in the column 'Hide Field' for all fields of Append).
2.b) If the new fields cannot be seen in the extract structure of the transaction BWA1 then change and save the datasource, and then activate it in RSA6.
3. Define your mappings in BADI (CRM_BWA_MFLOW) to fill these fields.
Goto SPRO . Follow the path ->SAP Implementation guide ->Implementation with other mySAP components ->Data transfer to the Business Information Warehouse-> Settings for the application specific datasources (CRM)->Settings for BW adapter-> Badi :BW adapter :Enhancement of datasources in messaging flow.
4. Replicate the new Datasource to BW.
5. Expand the Communication Structure in BW.
6. Maintain transfer Rules for the new Datasource.
7. Activate the trasfer rules and perform the upload.

guys i have read so many threads here to enhance 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 crm datasource. i am adding 4 fields to this ds and would like to know how to enhance this. i would like this to delta capability.
do we have to use4 badi..if so can us send me sample abap code? what is the best practice and procedure

You can enhance th edatasource from RSA6. Append the fields to the datasource structure and write a abap code in CMOD for those added fields.

Loading Error from CRM datasource - Info Idoc recieved with status 8

NEED YOUR HELP
We have a CRM datasource 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 which works well from source in RSA3. The dataload is a full and fetches 19,000 records from CRM
However when we load it from an infopackage from BW it gives us the following "No data in source sysetm" Info Idoc with status 8. We have tried the following to eleminate some doubts
1) Checked the connection in SM59 using aleremote .Connection and authorization successful. Also loaded data in the BW system for other datasources from same CRM system it works well, so no authorization/ connections issues.
2) In the source system CRM tried transaction RSA3--> extract data get 19000 records
3) In the source system CRM Triied transaction RSA3--> Import Request from BW --> successful.
4) Checked the TRFC queue in SM58 the TRFC queue is empty
5) When we check the logs in CRM for ALEREMOTE we get the following message

CRM DataSource Enhancement

Hi,
I need to add a field to one CRM datasource(0CRM_SALES_ACT_1).I have done that using RSA6.Also written a code in 'EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001'.
The delta queue for this DataSource is working properly on CRM side but when I pull the same data to BW side it is not populating the added field.Also the added field is not visible in PSA - it is visible on CRM side.
Do I need to do something in SBIW?Please suggest.

To Populate the Enhanced Field of the data source...
Use the BADI - CRM_BWA_MFLOW
This Badi has a field C_T_DATA which you would use to populate the new field.
Reason for the new field not showing up...
There is a table ROOSFIELD which holds the properties of the fields of the Data Source.
Make sure that your enhanced field has the following properties set in this table...
Field SELECTION to be BLANK (make sure it is not 'A').
Field NOTEXREL to be 'Y' and not 'N'.
The above fields should be set for your data source field.
There are many notes available for the same.
