Delta load problem from ODS

Hello everyone here.........,
I have a problem loading frm ODS to another target with delta.
Actually to ODS i am loading from two datasources. Both are full loads. Full1 and Full2. When i am trying to load from ODS to another target with delta..., it takes only Full1 data not Full2. So for loading Full2 now i am loading manually.
so why this happend here. Please let me know how to do
for making full2 also automatically........,

yes u r correct. after full1 loaded into ODS, its activating the ODS. these two can done through process chain. For full2 load we are loading manually. and doing manual activation.
lets take small example here that for yesterdays full1 & activation has done successfully. and after that i am loading
full2 manually & activated. and again today process chain ran, it loads full1 & activated ODS. Now what i am thinking is does this further datamart load which is run in process chain picks only full1 load and it doesn't pick full2 load which is already loaded & activated successfully.
I think u will get what i suppose to ask you now...,

Delta Load failure from ODS to Cube

Experts,
After CRM upgrade, I had to reinitilized the delta process. In this, I reloaded ODS with first init delta without data and then delta load with new data created in CRM. This worked good so far. After this when I tried to load cube with init. delta without data, no issues. But delta load from ODS to Cube doesn't work. Does anybody have any suggestions, please?

Data Packets or Info Packets are missing in BW, but there were - as far as can be seen - no processing errors in the source system. It is
therefore probable that an error arose in the data transfer.
With the analysis an attempt was made to read the ALE outbox of the source system, which lead to error .
It is possible that no connection exists to the source system.
Procedure
Check the TRFC overview in the source system.
Check the connection of the source system for errors and check the
authorizations and profiles of the remote user in both the BW and
source systems.

As far as i understood, you have successful deltas' loading to the ODS and you want to update entire ODS data to the Cube followed by daily delta's.
If this is the case,
Make sure that you have active update rules exist between ODS and Cube.
First goto your ODS and right click and select option 'Update ODS data in data target'.
Select Init update > IT will take you to the init info package where you select init <b>with data transfer</b> (Init with data transfer will bring all the records from ODS to Cube)
Once init is completed ,you can schedule to load delta's regularly form ODS to Cube by following the same steps.

Error while loading data from ODS to IC.

Hi Experts,
             I am trying to load data from ODS to IC using Initial load. I failed first time. Then when I am trying to schedule it again I am getting a error message. I deleted the intial request. Even after that, I am getting the following message. Am I missing something?
Delete init. request

init. again with same selection
Also can any one provide me a document that contians the lenght of all teh technames? I know I can find it out by looking into each one of the Tech Names. But I would be nice if anyone of you can provide me a document.

By reading the error:
No transfer structure for InfoSource 8ZYNA_ODS and source system B3TCLNT800
I think the problem is actually with a Datamart. You can try to regenerate the export datasource and activate it.
Also, you can try to activate only the transfer structure again using the report "RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL".

Iam getting a short dump when trying to load data from ODS to CUBE. The Run time error is 'TYPELOAD_NEW_VERSION' and the short text is 'A newer version of data type "/BIC/AZODS_CA00" was found than one required.please help me out.

A DART extraction job terminates with runtime error TYPELOAD_NEW_VERSION and error message:
Data type "TXW_INDEX" was found in a newer version than required.
The termination occurs in the ABAP/4 program "SAPLTXW2 " in "TXW_SEGMENT_RECORD_EXPORT".

Cause and prerequisites
This problem seems to happen when several DART extraction jobs are running in parallel, and both jobs access table TXW_INDEX.
Solution
If possible, avoid running DART extractions in parallel.
If you do plan to run such jobs in parallel, please consider the following points:
In the DART Extract configuration, increase the value of the parameter "Maximum memory allocation for index (MB)" if possible. You can estimate reasonable values with the "File size worksheet" utility.
Run parallel DART jobs on different application servers.
As an alternative, please apply note 400195.

Error During Load Infocube from ODS

Hi guys i hae an infocube and an ODS i load data to the ODS directly from SAP and its OK but i have an error when i try to load data from ODS to infocube, i`ve created an update rule from ODS to infocube theres an error in the load request "Load Request is invalid" i try to load to infocube from ODS in many ways Full, Init Delta but i have the same error in all of them.....i need to do something before or i need to change in any way the data targets.....
I hope somebody could help me with this.......

HI,
Activate the data in ur ODS. Then right click on ur ODS n choose "create export datasource". Now right click ur ODS and go to "Manage" and make sure that the QM status is green and the Datamart status is checked with a green mark. Now carry on the load from ODS to infocube.

I am loading masterdata from ODS to infoobject as data target, I am getting an error message as
Error message from the source system
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the source system.
System response
Caller 09 contains an error message.
Further analysis:
The error occurred in Service API .
Refer to the error message.
DataSource 80BP_ID does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
The time stamp in the source system is 09.08.2006 10:17:24.
The time stamp in the BW system is 15.03.2006 16:44:34.
But we are getting Data till ODS, when we manually load from ODS to infoobject this error is coming up.
Please help in resolving this,

The generated objects are export datasources based on the ODS objects. These are automatically generated because ODS objects are a key component to a data model or datawarehouse strategy where their role is to stage the data for consolidation or harmonization purposes. The generated datasource helps you to load data into further data targets. The use of a cube as an export datasource is not as common, and so the datasource is not automatically generated for them.

Error While Loading data from ODS to Infocube

I am trying to load data from ODS to Infocube thru Update ODS data into data target. My requirement was to take a small subset of fields from ODS and design IC and load the data.
My load fails at Extraction process as I get 0 records from total number of records sent in each package. Please let me know if you need more information.

When l am loading data from ODS to Cube with help of data mart, I am getting error in QA system , IN DM system ,every thing went well.IF i see the detail tab in monitor under Processing .
Its is showing like this .
Transfer Rules : Missing Massage.
Update PSA : missing massage.
Processing end : missing message.
I have checked the coding in update rules, everything is ok.
Plz any inputs.

Might means that IDocs flow is not defined properly in your QA system for myself-SourceSystem.

Load hierarchies from ODS

Hi, all.
Please advise, how I can load hierarchies from ODS, if
ODS stores data about structure of hierarchies. If any solutions exists excluding, extract data to flat file and load it again to hierarchies.

Hierarchies data one type of data master data.
BW data base was desifned master data stored out side the cube. When ever other data target (cube) can use those master data .I.E you can load data on info object level. Becose this is master data.
You can load data from flat files .
The structure is like this.
when ever u r creating hierarchies three table is going to create /BIC/HZGLACOUNT,/BIC/KZGLACOUNT,/BIC/IZGLACOUNT
While loadong falt file you need to take this table /BIC/HZGLACOUNT structure. According that structure you need to create excel sheet and loading is like flat file.

Date load error From ODS to Cube?

Here is a status of data load and suggest me.
Actually we are loading data from ODS to Cube which is full load.This loading is done thorugh process chain and it is loaded for every half an hour.Every time the earlier load will be deleted and next load will be taken to cube.Two days ago the load had gone wrong.When I tried to see cause for the failure in Monitor details I could see Update missing and processing missing.When I see in process chains log view I got info stating some invalid characterstic had appeared.But when I search in PSA the whole of the data packets are green.If there is any invalid characterstics PSA should show a red status.But it is not showing.Please guide me how could I solve this?

Problem while loading data from ODS to infoobject

I am facing problem while loading data from <b>ODS to infoobject</b>.
If I load data via PSA it works fine but
if I load data without PSA its giving error as Duplicate records.
Do u have any idea why it is so.

Hi,
when you load the data via the PSA, what did you select? Serial or Paralel?
If you select serial most likely you don't have duplicates within the same datapackage and your load can go through.
Loading directly in the IObj will happen thefore if you have the same key in two different packages, the "duplicate records" will be raised; you can perhaps flag your IPack with the option "ignore duplicate records" as suggested...

Delta Upload request from ODS is not including the Data target of planning

Hi,
I have a process chain in which there is a delta upload from ODS to 3 different data target. One of the data target is the planning cube. last 2days back i have changed the process chain schedule after was the Delta request is not hapenning for Planning cube. The process chain contains the changing the planning to load mode and load to planning mode. Every thing is working fine but the Delta is not happening for the Planning cube. Delta request are going correctly to the Other 2 data targets. Now it was like Delta has excluded the Planning cube. Another this there is nto planning package is appearing in the Infousources. and when I am trying to upload manually from ODS to Data targets it say that No delta is there. Please help me in this. This is a production problem. I have checked all the data monitors every thing is from but no delta is hapenning for the planning cube.

Error in delta load activation in ODS

Hello every one,
we have generated generic data source and assigned delta on Shipment number with lower limit 10.
when we loaded data through initial load it got all the records from R3 and scheduled delta (suppose to get 0 records because no data was generated ), Delta is bringing 6 records with it and getting error while activating in ODS due to duplicates.
1.How these 6 record came from with out generating data in R3..
2.while activating it is showing error by saying below message
System error occurred (RFC call)
Key value exists in duplicate (Not allowed by the ODS object type)
Activation of data records from ODS object ZODSNAME terminated
No confirmation for request ODSR_4APQX0IG5LKYJX8248G9QB314 when activating the ODS object ZODSNAME
Request REQU_4APPPJ630P70EWTMMY686TTSO , data package 000001 incorrect with status 5
Request REQU_4APPPJ630P70EWTMMY686TTSO , data package 000001 not correct
Inserted records 1- ; Changed records 1- ; Deleted records 1-
If i am not clear ..please ask i am ready to give required inputs
Please through some light so solve this issue and to load delta properly with out error.

Hello,
1. The records may be due to Safety delta interval you have maintained in your generic datasource. In RSA7, you can check STAT column for your data source. Click on the Pointer for Generic delta. you would see Shipment Number from which next delta would be pulled it.
2. Have you unchecked "Do Not Check Uniqueness of Data" in your DSO. This may be the cause for activation failure as same records are coming in as per the safety interval maintained.

Delta Load problem

I have one question regarding the deltas. we have one ODS it consist of materail number text and some other fields. The thing is we are doing the full loads. And the data is pulling by the 3rd party tool from the BW by accessing directly the ODS active table. Now the question is how can we implement the deltas for this and how they can identify the new records or changed records.

Hi Druthi,
since ur loads are full loads, and from now u want to make it into delta loads.
it can be possible by doing init again without data transfer.
and if u didnt reinit ur ODS it will overwrite with ur new records, so better init again ur ODS.
And to find whether ur records are new records or changed records, here are the steps.
1. right click on ur ODS -> select manage
2. select contents tab -> and in the below select "change log" button.
3. u will find mode of ur records whether it is new or changed, and this is possible if ur using 0RECORDMODE info object in ur ODS.

     The InfoSource 8ZPA_0022 specified in the data request, is not defined

     update the metadata for this source system, and delete the InfoPackages

as suggested by the message, did you update the meta data by doing a replication of datasources for the source system 'myself'? If not, do so and reactivate the communication structure. Then reload.
