Delta not working after upgrade from 3.5 to BI7.0
Hello All,
We have recently upgraded from BW3.5 to BI7.0 and the standard delta is not working now after the upgade. The name of the Extractor is 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1.
Did anyone come across this problem before or can anyone suggest the solution.
Thanks
Madhu
Hi Madhu,
I've experienced a similar problem with this extractor. I attempted to Initialize Delta with Data Transfer to no avail. The job ran for 12+ hours and stayed in "yellow" status (0 records extracted). The following steps worked for me:
1. Initialize Delta without Data Transfer
2. Run Delta Update
3. Run Full Update and Indicate Request as Repair Request
Worked like a champ, data load finished in less than 2 minutes.
Hopefully this will help.
Regards.
Jason

File- Export not working after upgrade from 11i to R12
Hi,
File -> Export not working after upgrade from 11i to R12.1.3 in few systems. Can you please let me know what could be the issue.
If export record count more than 200 it is working fine in all the systems and if change the profile option "Export MIME type” value to ‘text/tab-separated-values’ from application/excel also it is wokring.
Thanks and Regards,

I attempted to ask this question, yesterday. However, I am not used to typing with my thumbs, yet, and messed it up some. So, I will give this another try. Auto brightness does not work after upgrade from iOS 5 to iOS 6 on my iPod touch. Is this intended by Apple, or is it a bug?
Have you looked at the previous discussions listed on the right side of this page under the heading "More Like This"?
iOS 6 changed how that feature works. -
ODI Procedures not working after upgrading from 10G to 11G
Hello Gurus,
We have run into a scenario where the procedures in ODI are not working after we upgraded it from 10G to 11G (11.1.1.6). However we can make it to run if we create the procedure from scratch.
Also we are having issues related to packages where in the packages were running before we applied the patch 11.1.1.6.3. And after applying the patches they are not running.
Any help will be appreciated.
ThanksIf you want someone to help you, please be elaborate in the exact errors you are getting.
A general statement would do nothing but guess work.
What is the error that you get while executing the procedure.
What are the exact issues that you get while executing packages ? -
Scanner of HP 8500 A909g does not work after upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10
After upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and subsequent upgrade of printer software, the scanner functionality did not work. When I tried to uninstall the printer software I got the message "HP uninstaller has stopped working". After another upgrade of printer software the scanner was still not working. How can I get around this problem? Update:
I followed the instructions for a similar problem with Windows 8 on http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Install-Setup/Scan-doesn-t-work-on-Solution-Center-after-migrating-to-Win/td-p/2228367.After this, the scanning seems to work. Not sure whether it is possible to uninstall, though (don't want to try since it is working).I had the same problem with my Officejet Pro 8600 All-in-One scanner, sfter upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. After uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer driver, the problem is solved. You can look up the model of your printer on HP's support site and download it from there. Apparently, not all printers are compatible with Windows 10. In that case, they recommend you buy a new printer. ;-)

Caldav does not work after upgrade from 10.6.8
Hello!
After upgrading two test servers from 10.6.8 to 10.7.2 with no problems i decided last night it is time to upgrade our production server.
Took sometime but everything went well except for caldav service. If I understand the log right the migration to lion-calendars crashes when the script wants to put the calendars from filesystem into a database.
After reboot the script runs into the same error.
BTW the notification service does not work also. But that is not very important.
Every help is appreciated, bye

ASA5510 VPN not working after upgrade from 8.2 to 8.3
Hi,
I have recently upgraded a customer ASA5510 to version 8.3.
After upgrade web access etc is working fine however VPN is down.
The config looks very different after the upgrade plus what looks to be duplicate entries.
I suspect its an access list issue but I'm not sure.
If anyone has any ideas based on the config below it would be greatly appreciated as I'm at a loss....?!

Cryptochecksum:0dc16fe893bd4bba6fdf6b7eed93e553Hi,
Many thanks for your reply.
Finally got access to implement your suggestions.
Initially none of the VPN's were up.
After making the change the two VPN's came up.
However only data via the first VPN is possible.
Accessing resources on the 10.1.2.0 network is still not possible.
Attached is the latest config, any input is greatly appreciated;

Emailing not working after upgrade from 3 to 4.1
We have emails going from apex applications that we sending emails to outlook.
After upgrade to 4.1 they don't send emails as they used to do in version 3.
System admin verified and all configurations look good..
Anyone has similar experience
Appreciate any feedback
KpHi Kp,
please provide more information:
*) Oracle DB version (has this changed due to the upgrade)?
*) Which Oracle user is used to send the emails?
*) Are you sending the emails through an application process or through a background job?
Please post the exact code you are using.
Which version 3 are you talking about, 3.0, 3.1 or 3.2?
Please be as specific as you can be and provide as much context information as possible. I recall that there has been a change in the security settings, especially for mail, don't remember exactly which version, though.
Do you get any error messages?

I have installed the cars 2 app mate on a ipad 2 from an ipad 1 synced with itunes account.. all is working except this app. After many times of un installing and re installing aswell as talking to apple tech suport this app is still not working.... its there it just has no function...... how can i get this installed and working, my grandson is autistic and uses this app many hours a day........ it is important for me to get this up and running again for him.......
(1) So, I found a youtube video showing how to open up my iMac and replace a Disk drive. I opened it. I removed the disk drive. I opened the metal cover of the lid of the disk drive. It was clean and immaculate; so, it destroyed and debunked the dirty drive theory. But, just to make sure I sucked around the optical sensor with a vacuum and gently brushed it with a Q-tip.
(2) I then watched a you tube video showing how the drive operated (it was a drive supplied with power outside an iMac with a transparent cover unlike the opaque metal cover that we have on our drives). My scientific curiosity started to wonder if somehow the mechanical part (of the electro-mechanical assembly) was locked or jammed. So, I started messing with the arms with the utmost care after watching the video to see if i could move them manually. Yes on some. The main arm that is linked with the drive motor was immovable. The rest I played with a little bit, took great notice in the start of the video to see how the arms looked before inserting a disk. I then put it all back together.
It works now. My guess is that taking it out and then placing it back in along with the resetting options that others have done was the trick. I believe it is a possibility that the hard drive became locked mechanically in some strange manner after ejecting a DVD in conjunction with the uploading of the new OS. I believe the actual removal, reinstallation, and resetting of the drive put everything back into sync. My computer sits in a climate controlled dust free environment. I knew for a fact that this hard drive was OKAY. -
Printers not working after upgrading from windows 8 to windows 8.1 pro 64 bit
did the upgrade from win 8 to win 8.1 pro 64bit.
Printers were working fine but now are not recongnised and the spooler is not starting.
I reset the spooler on numerous occasions to no avail and ive downloade the latest drivers for the printer but no luck.
Please assist asap.
I have a canon lbp 2900 and a hp officejet 6500I cant access any printers, not even the virtual printers.
What I would do is use ProcMon to find out why that Event entry was written. Then I imagine I would get a clue about a .dll which might be involved, which hopefully might be registerable. Since IE9 there have been new .dll involving printing
which have not been reflected in any of our repair tools. However, instead of modifying our old scripts to reflect this fact, I have been advocating, so far unsuccessfully, that Microsoft create a proper IE Repair tool, one which does not rely on such
unreliable techniques. E.g. a better method of repairing would be to have it done by a proper troubleshooter (an .msdt file) but so far it seems nothing has been done in that way for these symptoms (again, assuming the cause is registry corruption
and not simple interference from now incompatible third-party programming--the fix for that would be to identify and remove the incompatibilities.) For example.

Not necessarily. I've upgraded several systems here, ranging from tablets
to laptops to virtual machines with a combination of IE, Chrome, and
FireFox and I've not experienced this on a single system. Also, your post
is the first time I've seen this issue reported in the forums.

RemoteApps not working after upgrade from 8.0 to 8.4
Hi
I hope someone can shed a little light on a problem that I can't seem to get to the bottom of.
We have a 5510 ASA that was running 8.0 and were using it for clientless VPN access. Through this, we published bookmarks that linked to an internal Microsoft 2008R2 RemoteApps server, which users logged on to and then launched RemoteApps (basically being RDP sessions to apps on the server).
All worked fine until we upgraded to 8.4 over the weekend and we now can't launch the RemoteApps. We can still login through the ASA, still click a bookmark to take us to the RemoteApps server's webpage, still then authenticate against the domain fine and still see the published apps. The problem now is when we launch the apps we get "this computer can't connect to the remote computer" messages and the app fails to launch. Nothing has changed on the RemoteApp server side, only the upgrade to 8.4.
Has anyone had any experience of this happening, or any clues on what to look for? Have verified that DNS lookups internally work fine form the ASA and have tried changing hostnames, IP addresses etc on the RemoteApps server with little success. I'm wondering if there was a new feature or difference between 8.0 and 8.4 that has stopped something passthing through properly.
Thanks in advance
NeilHi Mike
Thanks for the reply.
I've tested two bookmarked links on the ASA and looked at the packet capture as each goes through:
1. bookmark rdp://servername - this connects an rdp session fine, using IE on the client and an ActiveX rdp session. I can see 3389 traffic from the internal ASA interface to the internal server (and 443 from ASA outside to the external client).
2. bookmark https://servername/rdweb - this connects to the servers RemoteApps webpage fine, I login, and then try and launch a RemoteApp, which fails. I see no 3389 traffic at all on either side, only 443 traffic.
So I can get an ActiveX RDP session to happen from my client PC, through the ASA and onto the internal server, but only if I do it directly, not if I hop to the server first and launch the RemoteApp (which is basically an RDP session).
Cheers

We are in the process of changing everything over from the 3.5 .net framework to the 4.0 .net framework. As part of this, we are also upgrading Crystal Reports to version 13. We have a 32-bit Windows Server 2003 with the latest patches.
I have installed the latest CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_1.msi install program on our server and I have installed the 13.0.1 CR for VS on my local development machine.
The issue I am having is this. We have a fairly large Crystal report with numerous subreports. This report was working perfectly prior to installing all these latest patches/releases. There are two small subreports that use to sort perfectly, by a year column, in descending order. Now, they are sorting by year, in ascending order. The data is not sorted on the report itself, but in the datatable in the VB.net code that is used to populate the subreport. We use code like this to populate the subreport:
Report.Subreports("Pensionable_Earnings").Database.Tables("GroupedEarnings").SetDataSource(CType(EarningsInputs, DataTable))
Does anyone know of a specific reason the sort would have just stopped?
For what it is worth, there are two references that I have not added to my VS2010 project targeting the 4.0 framework. The 3.5 version had references to CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Framework and CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.InfoStore, but I didn't see these when I tried to add references to my 4.0 version, so I just left them out. I didn't get a compile error, but I wonder if this could be causing the issue?
Thanks!!!!

Oracle Portal not working after upgrading from 1.0.2 to 1.0.2.1
Hi All,
Previously I had
9iAS : 1.0.2.0.0
Portal: 3.0.7.6.2
OS: Win NT
and I upgraded to
9iAS: 1.0.2.1.0
Portal: 3.0.8 (using scripts)
Now the scenario is
I can access: Apache, Servlet(IsItWorking) and JSP samples. But now I can't access Oracle portal (ie http://host:port/pls/portal30/). Even Login Server is coming properly (ie http://host:port/pls/portal30_sso/)
There was no errors during upgrade scripts. Also I check the portal30 schema for invalid objects. But there were no invalid objects in that schema.
According to me, all the modules of apache are working only except mod plsql and so i can not access Portal. It gives misconfiguration error from apache. So what can be the problem??
Any ideas in this.
Thanks in advance. There was an issue reported on this upgrade having to do with multiple entries in the Apache configuration files. Check your .conf files for duplicate entries.
