Delta upgrade of ST-SER_700 2008_1

Dear all,
I am trying to import component ST-SER_700 2008_1 in our Solution Manager. I had an error "OCS package SAPKITLOIB does not match the current software vendor". This was because I had already imported ST-PI 2008_1_700 in solution manager. I applied sap note 608277 and solved the issue.
However, I then proceeded with the AddOn delta upgrade queue and it failed in phase ADDON_CONFLICTS. In the action log of the queue I found the following error message:
" Import phase 'ADDON_CONFLICTS_?' (07.04.2009, 15:59:46)
Internal error: OCS_GET_OVERSHOT_TASKS: SAPKITLQI6 does not exist in PAT03
Abort the import due to an error situation (07.04.2009, 15:59:46)"
I looked in sapnet but I didn't find anything relevant. Do you have any ideas on how to overcome this problem?

I have installed ST-PI 2008_1 that's why I had to apply note 608277. In that note it explains what to do, which I did, if you have imported ST-PI 2008_1 prior to ST-SER_700 2008_1.
My active component now is ST-PI 2008_1_700 and not ST-PI 2005_1_700.
However, in phase ADDON_CONFLICTS of the import It looks for SAPKITLQI6 which is the sixth patch of component ST-PI 2005_1_700.
Any ideas on how to overcome this problem?

On SAP authoring tools the options create procurement catalog, create supplier catalog and display log, they give me BSP Application Error Runtime.

For Batch jobs -- Try analyzing your database schema's referred by batch jobs. Also look if you have suff o/s resources as recommended by oracle for running Oracle 9i software.
For backups -- Check the size of your dmp file before upgradation and after upgrading to 9i. If you do not find major diff in size then it could be a resource issue like cpu usage / io / memory.

Hi,
Delta Upgrade - means installing the different add-on release on the same BASIS release.
ex: If you have add-on ERECRUIT 600 on SAP_BASIS 700 and want to upgrade to ERECRUIT 603 on SAP_BASIS 700, then its called Delta- Upgrade
Supplementary Upgrade - means installing the different add-on release on the different BASIS release.
ex: If you have add-on ERECRUIT 300 on SAP_BASIS 640 and want to upgrade to ERECRUIT 603 on SAP_BASIS 700, then its called Supplementary Upgrade.

K7N2 Delta Upgrade Power Off Problems

Thanks for the various suggestions. I can confirm:
- 4 pin cpu power plug connected
- front bus frequency changed to 200MHz, processor now recognised correctly as Athlon xp3200+
- I have been assured the cpu has not been overclocked
However power off problem persists. System shuts down after approx 1 minute whether i am in BIOS or start initiaiting xp repair from CD. As the system shuts down after such a short time the xp repair will not complete. The system wil not power on again until at least 15mins has elapsed then promptly powers off again.
I have fitted the D-bracker diagnostic tool and this shows 'operating system booting', ie four green lights.
I note from the motherboard maunal that a cpu thermal protection system is installed for the Athlon cpu platform. If the mechanism senses an abnormal temperature rise it automatically shuts down the system. As noted in my original post the system is powering off with the cpu temp at <40 deg C. The cpu warning temp in the BIOS PC health check stsus facility is set at 60 deg C so do not think this is the issue?

K7N2 Delta, upgrade to Win XP, no sound

I have a K7N2 Delta with Nvidia Nforce2 and onboard 5.1 sound, Athlon XP 1.25Ghz
I upgraded from Win98se to Win XP Pro yesterday. I have the full install version ("for Win95 or earlier or PCs without windows") but it allowed me to install as an upgrade. It warned me that there would be a problem with the sound... and now that I've upgraded, I don't seem to have any sound installed at all.
One of the things that I've tried is to download the latest audio package from Nvidia's web site at http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_audio_4.57_win2kxp
When I click to Open this program, Win XP wants to open it with Win Media Player (I have no idea why). When I instruct the computer to unzip it using an actual zip utility, I end up with a folder with a bunch of files, including two uninstaller programs, but no installer program or any explanation of what I'm supposed to do next. When I try to install a new program from the control menu and direct it to this folder, Win XP itself is confused because it can't find an installer program.
I'm not entirely sure that this will solve my problem in any case, but their drivers were reccomended by someone on the City of Heroes boards who had a similar-sounding problem. When I look at sound in the control panel it appears that nothing is installed, so I assume that installing the right drivers would solve my problem. Only I can't seem to get there from here...

You might also like to inform us of what hardware you are using - it would be interesting to know which motherboard you have as you haven't mentioned it!
You need to make a list of all your hardware and then repost.
Btw, I'm guessing here but to answer your question I'm pretty sure the answer is no! The jumper position only allows for use of front or back....not both!
But as I say as I don't know what you're using so I can't be sure!

[nForce] K7N2 Delta Upgrade Possibilities

I think I fried the AGP slot on my K7N2 Delta-L mobo and was looking to upgrade to a new board, perhaps the Delta 2 Platinum. Would there be any conflicts with using my old peripherals/modules from the old mobo if I upgraded? Here is what I currently have installed:
Athlon XP 2700+ 333FSB
Nvidia 6600
2X 512 Corsair XMS2700 CL2
Soundblaster Live Platinum w/LiveDrive
Oh and if you can think of any way of troubleshooting my old board that would definitely be appreciated. (Swapped out video cards and still no signal going to the monitor. Swapped monitor and cables as well and still no picture.)

There were a couple things that were awry. I was going to swap a fan in my case and it was daisey-chained off the supply that also went to my video card. I am almost positive that my PC was unplugged when doing this. I unplugged the fan and then booted back up. Windows came up but all of the graphics were a shade of blue. I quickly shut down and checked everything and it appeared that my VGA line was not secured properly(I had recently moved my PC). Resecured it and replug the fan and received no signal to the monitor. I swapped out my video card with my old one and still no signal. Attached my PC to a different monitor and cable and again no signal.
Any ideas? I will check the d-bracket when I get home from work today and see if it is reporting anything unusual.

Kt6 delta upgrade - compatability ?

I am in the process of upgrading my motherboard, processer & CPU.
I would to like to make sure that everything is going to be compatible, as well as what problems i have to be weary of with this system as i have never done this before.

...and the dreaded '550W' Q-TEC PSU (equivalent to ~400W )

Might be better off getting LL PC3500 like Hyper-X or OCZ platinum. 1 512MB stick of that stuff can do 2-2-2-5-1 with all turbo settings enabled. (I can only get the Hyper-X here, but i have read reviews on it until the sun rises, and it has Turbo ability's baby)
You can only use a maximum of 2 x 512MB sticks (4 banks for DDR400 addressing, but that also means 2 x 1024MB stcks of ram etc.) Use DIMM 1 & 2.
Watch your PCI card placement for IRQ conflicts. 2 devices per IRQ is optimal.
Win98se..................get real.
Expect major problems. I think with the upgrades, you should also get WinXP home edition at least.

ST-PI 2008_1_700 upgrade fails on Lower Level SP

We are trying to upgrade our ST-PI component for an ECC 6.0 EhP4 SPS 06
system for end result of connecting/ being managed by our SolMan EhP1 SP25 SLM
system
Current: ST-PI 2005_1_700 SP06
Target: ST-PI 2008_1_700 SP03
The error we receive is: Request/task SAPKA70001 does not exist
We are currently on:
SAP_ABA 701 0006 SAPKA70106
SAP_BASIS 701 0006 SAPKB70106
We are on EhP4 SPStack 06 on most components in the managed system, our Solution Manager is EhP1 SP25
I have tried using KITLRDA (install), KITLRDG (supplement upgrade) and
the main one KITLRDB (upgrade) and all fail or KITLRDG is not
recognized at all.
All with KITLRD1, KITLRD2, KITLRD3
Steps taken:
Tcode SAINT
Load packages KITLRDB, KITLRD1, KITLRD2, KITLRD3 in SAINT OCS queue
Select target KITLRD3 003 > KITLRDB 000
Continue-->
Error: Request/task SAPKA70001 does not exist
During phase ADDON_CONFLICTS_?
Have already entered a SAP message, and there is no information on this error anywhere I can find. Any help resolving this and moving forward with my add-on upgrade would be appreciated.

since you already have add on ST-PI 2005_1_700, please proceed with the delta upgrade cd for ST-PI 2008_1, and apply the latest patch for the same

ERP5.0 to 6.0 upgrade-SAPup stuck after MAIN_SHDRUN/DDIC_UPG got canceled

Hello Ling Lu,
this error points out to a corrupted MEMSAPehpi.dat file, probably when you terminated the session via Ctrl+C.
You must comment out the last line(s) of this file in order to proceed. Please open it and look for a repeated or incomplete last line(s) and comment it out. Make a backup of the file first, then repeat the phase, it should work.

Error While system Componenet Upgradation

Dear all,
We are using SOLMAN 4.0 and Charm Functionality.We are trying to configure the maintenance optimizer,for which minimum system requirement was given in the note:990534 .
So we are trying to upgrade the system componenet ST-SER 700_2005_2 to 700_2006_1.(which is one of the requirements.
When we are doing this we encounter the following error.
"Function DSWP_BPM_OTHER_CUST_GET (DSWP_BPMO|13) does not fit into the existing function group ((DSWP_BPM_SOLR|01))"
Have anyone encountered the same error?
Please support to close the issue.

This problem has been reported to SAP.
Please delete the function module DSWP_BPM_OTHER_CUST_GET via TC SE37.
It will be delievered by the delta-upgrade again. After, you can go on
to apply the queue.

No upgrade package found for component SAP_BASIS

Hello,
I'm just upgrading from NW 7.01 to NW 7.4. During the EHP_INCLUSION phase I'm getting this error:
The program has not found a matching SAINT package for 'SAP_BASIS'.
"Last error code set: Enhancement Package inclusion failed, no upgrade package found for component 'SAP_BASIS' "
I've checked the name of patches on stack.xml and upgrade directory, and patches are in the upgrade directory.
Any suggestion?

You need to include delta upgrade package for SAP_BASIS component in the /EPS/in queue.
File name should be similar to "K-740BHINSAPBASIS.SAR". Please check whether such package has been downloaded ,extracted and include into the queue.

Networking issues following upgrade to 10.5.8 when iMac wakes from sleep

I recently upgraded to 10.5.8 and I'm now experiencing issues with network connectivity following the iMac waking from sleep. I have to stop Airport and then start it again to resolve the issue.

Reinstall the Mac OS X 10.5.8 Combo Update because the Combo seems to help a lot of people when a Delta upgrade doesn't take right.

DVD drive failed after upgrade to 10.4.9

After upgrading to OS X 10.4.9 I noticed that my internal DVD drive (SuperDrive Pioneer DVR-104) failed.
I did the delta upgrade and immediately checked the most common "error" of misbehaving eject key. The key did not function at all, even after pressing it for minutes.
Later I found out that the complete drive failed.
System Profiler tells me (sorry german output)

Note: no version or serial number!
DVD player gives the message (translated):

I did:
- repair permissions
- repair drive/file system
- the combo upgrade
- reset parameter ram
- reset all from open firmware
- reset PMU
no change
Do you have any hints besides replacing the drive?
Maybe it's just a coincidence. I did not use the drive for 2 weeks before
the upgrade.

Xcode 3.0 - 3.1 or 3.1.1 upgrade

I'm currently running OS X 10.5.5 I recently installed Xcode from the Leopard DVD, which is Xcode 3.0 as I understand. From the ADC downloads it appears that there is no patch/delta upgrade and one has to download the entire (~1GB) developer DVD and use the upgrade option. Is there no way to just upgrade what's needed?

OrgChart Upgrade from 3.0 to 4.1

Hi Experts,
We are planning to upgrade our old Nakisa OrgChart 3.0 application to latest OC app 4.1.
I downloaded the package from service market place and found that 3 types of folder:
1. Delta upgrade
2. Fresh Installation
3. Upgrade
Current ECC version is 6.0 EHP5. Can I install "fresh installation" add-ons? or I have to apply upgrade add ons?

I think you should be able to do a fresh install, but that is quite a big jump and there were some issues around 4.0 SP1 upgrades. In all honesty, your safest course of action would be to raise a message on OSS and have Nakisa to confirm the upgrade sequence (hopefully just a one step fresh install) between 3.0 and 4.0 SP1. It would also be useful to share any recommendation/success/failure on this thread in case anyone else is considering the same upgrade now or in the future.
