Deltas not getting collected

Hi experts,
I created a generic datasource based on infoset query on konv table.( Cluster Table )
In rso2 in the generic delta settings i maintained the settings as :
Delta specific field: KNUMV (Number of the document condition)
Calendar Day
Safety interval upper limit: 1 Calendar days.
New status for changed records.
I done a Init with datatransfer in BI upto DSO. The load was succesful .
Some records are posted in R/3 for the same on the next day. But I am unable to see them in RSA7 i.e
delta records are not getting collected in the delta queue.How can we resolve this ? Do i need to change
any delta settings ?

Hi Nishuv
You can either select KNUMV or calendar day as delta field. As you had maintained the safety upper limit as 1 calendar day, you will able to extract data 1 day minus the day you are scheduling the delta request.

The reason why are you not able to see the delta records in the delta queue is that because of the safety upper limit 1 day which you had given. For example if you are scheudling the delta infopackage today then you will be to extract the delta records of yesterday only because of safety upper limit.
The delta queue will be populated with the delta records only after you schedule the delta infopackage because generic extractor works on pull concept not on push concept.

Material master delta not getting activated

Hi all,
We are using "0material_attr" as data source.Till now we were loading data for material using full update mode.
Now we want to change the update mode from delta update mode.
So we initialized update for material in BW using " initialize without data transfer " update mode. Now for testing i have changed couple of material in R/3 ... but nothing is getting extracted in BW.
then i checked in R/3 in "rsa6" there is tick for delta update and then i checked in rsa3 there its not allowing me to change from "F" to "D".
So how to proceed if i want move from full to delta for my material master data ??

Hi,
Have you replicated the data source 0MATERIAL_ATTR to BW after making it delta enabled in R3 system? Try replicating the data source and activating the transfer structure. Remember to remove the delta initialization flag in your info package before doing this. After replication, try for a normal delta initialization.

MySQL Instance Metrics not getting collected in OEM 12c

Hi All,
For MySQL instance, we have enabled "Other Statistics" metric collection and the collection time is every 15 mins.
We have not set any thresholds so this is not for alerting purpose.
For reference if I consider mysql_s_cpcwcmsqlq02e, I checked in backend the scheduler status and found below output in which I am not able to see other statistics metric for mysql:

I am not able to run manually collection of other statistics metrics. (Collection Name is "mysqlstatus").
Strange is for only 5 instances i am able to see data for this metrics.
Please help .. Oracle is not able to answer as plugin is pythian.

InfoSource and Source System Not getting collected while activation BC

Hello there!
I'm trying to activate the business content. If i group all the objects below and install a cube (or update rules), it gets everything but infosources (Transfer Rules, etc.) and the source system assignment. Neverthless, if i assign datasource to infosource, it works properly.
I've installed the data sources, replicated it in BW, and done the source system assignment correctly. Any ideas what is going wrong?

The issue was with Repository Cache. Delete it and everything works fine.
Admin Workbench -> Business Content -> Extras -> Repository Cache (DB) -> Delete (Delivery Objects)

Delta reocrds are not getting extracted . Problem with delta Quaue

Hello friends .
Could you please help me in this scenario ?
Its related to delta load from application 12 , - 2LIS_12_VCITM.
Some how data is not getting transferred from LBWQ to RSA7 . There are more than 200000 entries in LBWQ , but the job is not able to transfer any entries to RSA7.
For rest other application , data is going correctly .
The job status showing is correct , like XXXXX LUW are transferred there is no error in Job log , it technically correct .
I have found one notes , in SAP service market place , but still it doesnt match with my job status . My job status is NOTESID ..where as per the notes it should WKEDPI*** ( something like this ) .
I have taken below steps to solve this problem but still it doesnt work .
1.     Removed job from schedule ( the job for LBWQ to RSA7 ) and Executed the job manually .
2.     Executed Program RMSBW12.
3.     Deleted the Delta Q from RSA for application 12 and regenerated the same once again by running the infopackage , early delta initialization with out data transfer , . Once Delta Q is generated , run the job once again .
I hope , I tried with all correct way ..but still I could not able to transfer the data .
But with all above steps , still data is not transferred . Daily infopackage is running as per the schedule , and bringing only 0 record . If it still doesnt work then I have to do Re-initilization . and this is big cost for us . as we have to lock the sys for users and so on .
Could you please give me some tips , that how can I transferr the data from LBWQ to delta Q ( RSA7) . If it works then definitely , I will save my lot of time .
Please suggest me , how can I proceed . Please save me from this situation.

Hi Akshay,
Go to SMQ1 and check MCEX12 Queue. If your delta records are piling up in SMQ1 and not being transfered to RSA7, you need to check your back gound job control option once again.
The back ground collector job will collect the recrords from SMQ1 and push to RSA7.
Try to execute RMBWV312 program in SE38 and manully push all the recrods to RSA7. Once all the records are available in RSA7 you will find the MCEX12 queue will be cleared in SMQ1.

Delta Records is not getting updated in delta queus when changes done

Hi All,
In Quality system , when a user makes a change to an order's ship-to address, the changes are "triggering" a delta record into the delta tables for BI to extract. This can be seen via tcode rsa3's delta tester.
In Productionn System, when the user makes the exact same change, nothing is added to the delta table and the changes never come over to BI unless a full extract is request for the order.
Why changes not getting updated, please give your inputs.

Do you have your V3 update job active and running? THis job wites changes to the delta queue. Of course your datasource has to been initialized and a delta queue should be setup. You can check it in RSA7.

DUMMY_BW (0FI_GL_04) delta queue not getting cleared

We're using minute based extraction approach for 0FI_GL_04 and thereby have two delta queues for the 0FI_GL_4 extractor in the SAP ERP ECC system: One for the ‘DUMMY_BW’ and the other for the 'real' BI system. The delta queue for DUMMY_BW is not getting cleared automatically in production system and it keeps on adding more records in the queue which is in turn consuming memory in ARFCSDATA. Any thoughts on this would be really helpful.

I tried to find the MSG Type to check in BD52 for relevant field list, in ROOSGEN table. the entry for MSG type is blank there.

BWFI_AEDAT table not getting updated - FI_GL_4 Delta

Hi Friends,
We have just started loading Delta loads using FI_GL_4.
The Changed records are getting updated correctly for all the documents into BWFI_AEDAT and loaded into BW except in cases of an Intercompany doc.
Is there a particular reason that changes to Intercompany Doc will not get updated in the table or is there a way to find out how this table gets populated so that I can debug this issue.
Any help is highly appreciated..

How many days after INIT are you going for delta??
If there is entry in BWFI_AEDAT there is no reason why delta should not come.
check for newly created documents in BKPF using CPUDT to see if new documents have been created in this period too.

Delta record not getting created

Hello Experts -
I'm working with 0mat_plant_attr datasource.
In ECC, I made changes to some materials in MM02. I changed the values of MRP Type and Rounding Value in MRP1 tab. The data is saved correctly but a delta record is not getting created. In RSA7, no records are there for 0mat_plant_attr. MRP Type, Rounding Values are attributes of 0mat_plant. I did run the initial infopackage from BW to enable the delta.
Can someone please help me with this? I'm not doing something correctly.

Hi Syed,
I think you may have to run an attribute change run after executing your infopackage to see the changes. The modified attribute needs to be set as active in by the attribute change run.

IDoc Monitoring: Data collection not getting completed

Hi,
I have setup IDoc monitoring in Solution Manager 7.1 SP08 for managed systems which is on ST-A/PI 01Q. There are many IDoc being generated in the managed system but I am not getting any alert for it.
In the alert inbox I get the message that the data collection has not yet taken place since the last activation. and the last data collection time is shown as of 2009.
Also in the managed system the BPMon background job BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_2 get cancelled with run time error TSV_TNEW_BLOCKS_NO_ROLL_MEMMORY
What can be the issue?

Deltas do not get updated on R/3

We have R/3 4.6C here and recently it was observed that when the finance documents are posted they do not get updated either in SMQ1 or RSA7. I am a basis person and would like inputs from you on where to see why these are not getting updated in RSA7 or SMQ1?

Portal Forms are not getting displayed in the new oracle environment.

The Forms in our Portal applications are not getting displayed after we have done the upgradation of Database in Unix from 8i to 9i. The reports are working fine.The forms that were added as portlets are not getting displayed and other forms that are called thorough links returns error when it is run. The Newly created forms are also not running but returns error. The Portal Version is 3.0.9.8.3. Pls help.

Based on the requirement , check whether the customer contact has been done carried out for the invoice , then possibility it must have gone out of the worklist , chekc whether the Invoice posted in the AR has been transferred to FSCM collection .

Mat doc not getting updated in AFRU table

Hi All,
While doing the confirmation cancellation for the rework order the referance material document is not getting updated in the AFRU table.
The referance operation set is used for the rework production order and there are no component assigned ,the components to be issued are entered at the time of confirmation.
The material document is getting updated in case of confirmation in AFRU table but the same is not getting updated in WABLNR field in case of cancellation of confirmation.
When I checked MSEG all the material documents are observed with referance to the order number but the same are not displayed in AUFM and AFRU table.
This behaviour is not obeserved in case of normal production orders. what can be the reason behind the same?

Chat user is not getting message from the other users

In my application when user [A] initiate the chat with user[B] , I am facing following issues
-          User[B] is not getting initiation notification so that I am unable to open chat pod for user [A] on user[B] application
-          Due to above problem , User[B] not getting any message sent by the User[A]
-          User[A] can send only one message and it is displayed on simple chat pod
when User[A]tries to send more then one message it is not displayed on simple chat pod but on the console I can see the messages

A) are these methods copied twice in the code here on purpose?
   connectChat() and onSynchronizationChange is repeated in code due copy paste mistake
B) are both users subscribing to _collectionNode right away? Do each of them
get to onSynchronizationChange?

C) If you put a breakpoint in onSynchronizationChange, do you see the node
get created? Do you see it in the dev console?

D) Is user B receiving an onItemReceive at all? Is user A?
Yes , it is creating a node
Now both the user getting chat message, have following issue
When user A initiate the chat with user B this action is not opening chat pod / window on user B end which shows user A has initiated chat with user B
But when user B click on user A name to initiate the chat, this action opens a chat window and user B can see message send by user A
Above scenario is not normal chat behavior in which other user gets the notification of chat . what could be the problem

Statistical condition types not getting displayed in invoice

We have configured the tax collected at source (TCS) condition types and make them as statistical in the pricing procedure. Now, the issue is when we are using them the values for these condition types are getting calculated correctly as the total value is correct but in the invoice their individual values are not getting displayed.
In the analysis also we can see that the condition records are found but being statistical condition they should get displayed in the invoice as only the correct total value will not serve the purpose, please help

Keep a break-point (hard) in these program lines and debug and see that whether the condition type(KSCHL) related to Taxes is appearing here or not.
If the condition type for taxes is coming then you can print the taxes.
First check the related condition type for Taxes in T685 table and see here in the code.
