DELVRY03 IDoc failure because of Locks

Hello All,
My Incoming Delivery confirmation (Delvry03) IDocs are failed due to "Delivery is currently being processed by another User "
I have cheked SM12 for this user , But couldn't find any locks for that user ...
Please share your Ideas to resolve this lock issues ...
Can you also let me know the best way to reprocess this failure IDocs for time Being...
am bit confused to choose the programs ( RBDAPP01, RBDMON00 or RBDMANI2 )

At first look it looks to me a number range issue,please check in SPRO settings the number ranges defined for Vendor and customer,and confirm what MDM is sending.

Hi Ahmad, I have the same problem, I have a server windows server 2008 R2 standard. While
doing an Enterprise to Standard downgrade, I have removed enterprise edition of SQL Server 2008, rebooted and while installing standard edition, I get the below error saying "You SQL server 2008 installation completed with failures. Some or all identity
references could not be translated"
Bit of background. This server has another express instance of SQL Server 2008. I have
used local system account, network service as well as our general SQL service account, but I get the error towards the end of the installation and it fails saying “Some or all identity references could not be translated.”
I am installing a named instance with the same name as before but fails. I have tried
creating a new test instance that fails too. Any ideas? I have uninstalled SQL enterprise edition from
Add and Remore Programs/Programs and Features. I've also run the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility but no joy.

a. User trying to create delivery but stock not available.
b. When stock is not there it should show an error message in SAP screen but its not - like stock not available etc
c. Fedex gets delivery notice for the delivery; if its more than zero it will create delivery otherwise less than zero it won’t accept.
d. But issue its creating even its less than zero
Is there anyone who can help me out...

When one is created with zero quantities it starts blocking our deliveries from getting through to fedex because deliveries will in doubt have been blocked at fedex. As we process our orders in morning and if there is an STO blocking orders, it will be in afternoon .

My first advice is "Back up the device, then have it replaced." Second item of advice, "Don't forget your passcode."
One of the purposes of the lock button is to recover from certain software failures. Without the lock button, such a recovery is nearly impossible. My advice would have served you best when the malfuction first developed, not after you forgot your passcode.

Failed to process DELVRY03 IDoc with 36,000 Segment

Hi All,
We have interface IDoc to JMS. ECC is sending DELVRY03 IDoc to XI to JMS.
One of the IDoc couldnt reach to XI & produced memory error dump with exception "Heap limit exceeded on work process" We have already set maximum heap size for abap/dialog heap.
This problem occurs only when IDoc has more than 25,000 Segments.
Is there any other way to compress the data on IDoc side ....?

Hi Rakesh,
While importing the idoc into IR, make sure you reduce the idoc size.
This could be done in the following manner
Go to Imported Objects --> IDOC -->Ur Idoc --> Tools -> Export Reduced XSD.
Use this reduced xsd in message mappings, other wise the mapping tool will fail with a memory dump failure error.
Also check out ztta/max_memreq_MB parameter
U may also do the background processing

I am having the SAME exact problem! Except instead of lock button broken it's my home button so I can't do the whole "put in recovery mode" deal. My screen only says "tap the home button 3 times" and it has my screen locked until I hit the home button but since it is broken I can't get in my phone at all. I have all of my work info in my phone so I'm screwed and can't get any help. PLEASE let me know if you find a way around this...!!!

i have connected it to itunes like i was told to do and it wont do anything because its locked with a passcode and its frozen on the lock screen and will not let me enter myt passcode and after a while it just shuts off, it has been doing this for almost 48 hours. I was told to hold the home button and power button to shut it down and that I could then restart it and it would work... Nothing has helped, What can I try???

Reset the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.
If that does not resolve, restore the device via iTunes on the computer.
If all else fails, take the device to Apple (or whomever provides support in your country) for evaluation and possible replacement.

SSAS 2012 Tabular Error: The operation was cancelled because of locking conflicts

I have a 800 mb SSAS database that I refresh(Process current day partition) every 30 minutes. As soon as the processing starts all my users get error The operation was cancelled because of locking conflicts. I ran the deadlocks trace as described in http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sql_pfe_blog/archive/2009/08/27/deadlock-troubleshooting-in-sql-server-analysis-services-ssas.aspx
but all I see is the processing start and all the users getting the error ("The operation was cancelled because of locking conflicts") 22 mil sec after the processing starts.
I also ran "select * from $system.discover_locks" but I only see lock types 2,4 and 8. None of which seem to be exclusive

According to your description, you get the dead lock error when processing partition. Right?
In Analysis Services, this error occurs when lock manager detects a dead lock. Lock type 2,4 and 8 can also have two transactions waiting each other and cause deadlock. In this scenario, please check the Dead Lock Graph in SQL Profiler
and find the related processes. Check what the processes work for to see if you need to do parallel processing or process other objects before partition processing.

Change pointers for DELVRY03 Idoc

Hi,
I need to trigger DELVRY03 idoc whenever a delivery document is changed. I understand that one cud trigger a idoc on creation of delivery document using change pointers. But is it possible to use change pointers on edit of del. doc as well??
Also i guess delivery document is transactional data, hence message control might have to be used, but I am not aware how to configure the same for delivery documents.
If anyone could give me the steps to configure message control then it would be helpful.

Park inbound EDI Invoices on iDoc failure from a workflow?

Hello all,
We have seen note 501524 that talks about parking inbound invoices by default.
Our situation is this. We are expanding our use of EDI for inbound invoices. As such we would like to automate the validations steps as much as possible. To date with our limited use we have set up a workflow to notify on idoc failures and then a few agents have access to BD87 to make the idoc right and reprocess. We don't want to continue this process.
Our preference would be to continue to allow the iDoc to fail, the workflow fires but at this point we communicate the failure to the appropriate person and park the invoice.
Does this sound like a reasonable approach?
Can we even park a red lighted iDoc?
Once parked can the invoice be dealt with without using BD87?
Has anyone ever tried this?

Hi Ralph,
In my opinion, you must have a PO Number for Invoice if you want to use standard functionality. You will probably need to create IDOC using an ABAP program which reads this file and search for PO based on the information available to you. I also notice that you are missing material number as well, how do you match the item number in the PO ?
I don't see a way aroung without writing an ABAP program to handle this logic, but you can still use IDOC ( which comes with the standard processing logic and that is a big advantage ) so that you need to write only the PO matching logic.
or if you are not inclined to write a separate program for uploading file into SAP and formatting IDOC, you can write your own process code (FM)for INVOICE01. Inside this process code (FM), you can put your PO matching logic and then call standard FM (process code). This is what I usually do.

The user(supplier) wants to reject first line item of the Subcontracting PO and add a new line item instead with the right data.

IDOC Inbound processing and Locks

Hi there,
we are trying to process an incoming idoc. But all the time we get an error: Immediately processing not possible: EDI: IDOC "XYZ" is currently locked.
There is an lock entry for this IDOC in table EDIDC. We get this error while calling the FM IDOC_STATUS_WRITE_TO_DATABASE with status 52 (application doucument not fully posted).
What can we do?

Exactly why are you trying to write the IDoc status to the database?
It sounds like you have written a custom IDoc. If this is so, you would pass the IDoc status back in table IDOC_STATUS, and it will get updated automatically by SAP.
When SAP extracts the IDoc data, it places an Enqueue lock on the IDOC. That is why you are getting the error message.

AII Flex Del Scenario DESADV.DELVRY03 IDOC

I am working on IDOC-TO-IDOC scenario in flexible delivery scenario.
When an ASN is sent from supplier system to customer system via XI the idoc DESADV.DELVRY03 is used to create inbound delivery against the purchase order
While executing IDOC in target system, the system gave error with error status 51.
<b>the error is POSEX field is empty.</b>
I tried to test execute this IDOC in transaction we19 by filling value of POSEX.
What should be the value of this field so that IDOC is executed properly?
Looking forward to pointers to above query.

There are 2 POSEX fields in the DELVRY03 Idoc,
E1EDL24-POSEX is External item number
E1EDL41-POSEX is Item Number of the Underlying Purchase Order
Go to WE60 and put in DELVRY03 and look this up.
In the IDOC it should show which segment is in error.
