First, you need to understand that there's a difference between "syncing" and "backup". Backup is the saving of content and settings, where syncing is the bidirectional transfer of content for an account to a web-based server (like iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)
If you see your calendar in your iCloud account, that implies that you have set up your iCloud account to host (sync) your calendar, and perhaps contacts, email, and notes. An iCloud account can only sync one user's information at a time so it is intended to support a single user. You can have more than one iCloud account, and you can even have more than one iCloud account on the same device (but one has to be primary, and the secondary iCloud has limited capabilities), but a single iCloud account only supports a single user's content.
Backup is the saving of your device's content and settings to use in case you need to recover these things, but you can't see the contents of your backup (just the size and device name). You can backup more than one device to iCloud and you can backup to iCloud or you can backup to your computer, or both (one at a time though, you have to choose).
So, if your wife has her own email and calendar she can certainly do that in parallel to whatever account(s) you have for email and calendar. But if you have only one iCloud account then only one of you can use it for email, calendar, etc. But the backup of these accounts is really just a backup of the device's settings that link the device to these accounts. For example, if she uses Gmail then the backup of the iPad only backs up the fact that your iPad is set up to use her account, it does not backup the account itself (the content of her account is saved and preserved on Google's servers, not your device's backup).
Does that make better sense?

I want to know how to create a backup file (because I'm pretty new with itunes, and it's hard to use it for me still), how to store my app data/media/videos, etc. And how I can retrieve them back when I'm done with the app I tried on my friend's computer.

Sure-glad to help you. You will not lose any data by changing synching to MacBook Pro from imac. You have set up Time Machine, right? that's how you'd do your backup, so I was told, and how I do my backup on my mac. You should be able to set a password for it. Save it. Your stuff should be saved there. So if you want to make your MacBook Pro your primary computer, I suppose, back up your stuff with Time machine, turn off Time machine on the iMac, turn it on on the new MacBook Pro, select the hard drive in your Time Capsule, enter your password, and do a backup from there. It might work, and it might take a while, but it should go. As for clogging the hard drive, I can't say. Depends how much stuff you have, and the hard drive's capacity. As for moving syncing from your iMac to your macbook pro, should be the same. Your phone uses iTunes to sync and so that data should be in the cloud. You can move your iTunes Library to your new Macbook pro

don't forget to de-authorize your iMac if you don't want to play purchased stuff there
and re-authorize your new macBook Pro
time machine is an application, and should be found in the Applications folder. it is built in to OS X, so there is nothing else to buy. double click on it, get it going, choose the Hard drive in your Time capsule/Airport as your backup Time Machine and go for it. You should see a circle with an arrow on the top right hand of your screen (the Desktop), next to the bluetooth icon, and just after the wifi and eject key (looks sorta like a clock face). This will do automatic backups of your stuff.

All my Windows operating Systems are set to use the UI Culture: German
With Update-Help or Save-Help you can download PowerShell help in different (any) language by use of the –UICulture parameter.

Because my Windows OS is set to use the German UI Culture and the Cmdlet Get-Help depends on it, I cannot access PowerShell help in a different Language (English) with Get-Help.
There is still no translated German PowerShell help and even if I have installed the en-US verbose Help files I cannot use it (easily)!
I made a suggestion on Microsoft Connect to add the –UICulture Parameter to the Get-Help Cmdlet, to make it possible to call Help in a different language then the Windows Ui Culture.
As a workaround until then you can use the .NET Class [System.Threading.Thread]::CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture to set the UI Culture and get Help in a different language.

Need help for proper blending parameters

Hi,
I am trying to make a very simple movement with 2 servos:
go down 4 meters,
go right 20 cm,
go up 4 meters,
go right 20 cm,
etc..
However, during those 4 meters up down moves, the speed should be constant.
I wasnt happy wth the blend movements so I decided to replace the go right move with a circular arc of 10 cm radius.
It looked great on the graph with simulated axis until I plotted their speed on a chart: white is Y axis and green is X axis
I thought that the circular arc would be a great way to connect the up and down straight-line moves by automatically regulating the X & Y speeds. So in order to keep a constant speed during the transitions, I chose those parameters:
blend mode: at deceleration
smooth: 0
acceleration/deceleration/acc & decc jerk: 0
however, as you can see on the charts, there are a few glitchs during the transitions. I played all day with all those params but without success.
I dont know if this will affect the servo motors or if it not even necessary to deal with this problem but to be on the safe sde, I would like to know how can I go from one movement to the other without those glitches.

Thank you for your input. I am already using NI Softmotion and according to NI support, there is a bug with arc move bending. I couldnt find any info on it so they gave me a CAR link but I cant access it, so I dont know how old is this bug nor if it can be fixed it anytime soon:

We are designing a painting prototype using a spray gun on a linear system using 3 n 1/2 axis (X, Y, Z, and a pneumatic for switching between horizontal/vertical painting). Here are some screenshots of the spray gun XY trajectories:
According to the spray gun paint spread, the trajectory changes. For example, here the spreads are 15 and 20 cm so the spray gun must go up/down 11 or 8 times and left/right 27 or 20 times accordingly.
I already looked into the contouring method but it looked like a lot more work for proper speed control and as I said, speed is one of the most important parameter in our system.

New to the E90 - grateful for some help ...

Just got my E90 a few days ago. Just a few questions to start off with:
1. Can anybody recommend a decent free file manager application, i.e. one which actually allows me to browse the entire filesystem? The built-in Nokia file manager only lets you see the \data\ folder in the phone, so for example you cannot see anything you've downloaded from the web!!
(1b. Or is there a way to change the destination of downloaded files in the web browser?)
2. Why is the GPS so poor? I live in London, UK, and there must be plenty of satellites available (everybody around me uses GPS with no problem), yet my E90 frequently finds only one satellite, or none at all, and can't triangulate my position.
3. (This is tricky.) Does anybody else use s2putty? (s2putty.sourceforge.net) It works fine for password access, but it won't accept my private key (says "Cannot use - not a private key"). I've tried creating a brand new key pair in puttygen and still it doesn't work. I think the file format is somehow munged when it's copied over to the E90. Does anyone have any idea about this?
4. Is it just me or it the user manual really totally rubbish? Is there a good user guide somewhere which tells you how to switch between apps easily, sort out your own menus, get rid of lots of the pre-installed gubbins etc. etc.?
5. That'll do for a start, unless anyone knows of a good hex editor, DOS emulator or Master Of Magic port ...

Yes.
If you want the other user to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account. In that account, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.
You can figure out using it with another machine from that too

The HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909 is not an AirPrint printer, if that is what you're asking. HP has proprietary apps that may be suitable for your needs.
To print directly from an iPad / iPhone you will need an AirPrint compatible printer or another device to act as a print server. That can be a Mac computer running Printopia ($19.95 with free trial) or handyPrint (donation - supported). The Mac must be "on" but may be asleep for them to work. Equivalent PC options may exist but you're on your own finding them.
You can also buy this standalone print server:

These options enable you to use any printer available to your Mac, even older ones that may predate AirPrint by decades.

There can be 3 typse of trading scenarios
1. 3rd party with Shipping notification : Where in u create sales order and create PO against the PR which si triggered in SAles order adn hen MIGO followed by MIRO and Billing. Here Billing to the end customer can be doen before MIRO because the billign quantity considered is based on the goods Receipt( MIGO) quantity. Many a times you might have your personnels or soem mechanisms to cross verify the delivered quanity as some times the vendor might not dispatch the quantiy in the PO. Here the MIGO doen si consumption posting/Non valuated GR as physically it doenot come into your stock and therefore is not shown in our stock. ITem category used in TAS
2. 3rd party without shiiping notfication ; Here MIGO is not done and billig ncan be done only after MIRO as the billing quantity is based on the Invocie receipt quantity in MIRO
3. Bought in items/ Dealer Sales : Here you bring in the materials from the vendor to our depot plant and then dispatch it to the customer . Here PR is geenrated from sales order followed by PO and MIGO. After MIGO you have to do PGI followed by Billing. MIRO doesnot have any impact on the PGI or Billing. Item category used is TAB
But in all the three instancesthe configurational changes happen in schedule line cateogry and the account assignment which is maintiend in item category and for automatic determination of 2 different schedule line categories we need to maintian 2 different item categories alothough item category settings are almost the same.

How to change the language in FF so that each user (in the same PC) can have meny-language etc in their own language?

I have a PC that is used primarily by 3 persons. Each of us speak different languages (Finnish, Dutch and Norwegian) English being the common language. Each of us would like to browse and have the meny-language in FF in our own languages.
I'd like to customize each users accounts on Windows XP so that FF is the main internet-browser and that it then is in their own language on their accounts.
In some cases it would be good to be able to change the browser-language also within a useraccount. I can't find this feature in FF (in Opera this is done in 3-4 clicks)
So, how to do this customazation and language-change in FF?

Install the language packs for the additional languages available from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.6.12/win32/xpi/
As you have the Finnish version of Firefox, the additional language packs are Dutch - nl.xpi, Norwegian (Bokmål) - nb-NO.xpi, Norwegian (Nynorsk) - nn-NO.xpi, and if you want English you can use en-GB.xpi
To assign a particular language, you can change a hidden preference:

How can I get the autocorrection to work in my own language?

After i installed Lion do i have problems with the textcorrection program in my own language.
In Pages can i do a check in all languages but not my own, which is norwegian. In the inspector do i see all language but not norwegian.
In addition do I not see the new autocorrection function in Lion at work.
Did i forget something i must change in preferences?

Can't find "Delegate Class Name" for JDBC Helper Service

I downloaded WLServer 6.1 with sp1 and WLPortal 4.0, installed them on Solaris 7 using default DB cloudscape -- everything was fine. Now, I'm trying to configure database to Oracle 8.1.7.
In "Configure the JDBC Helper Service" section of document "Configuring WebLogic Portal for Oracle Databases" (http://e-docs.bea.com/wlp/docs40/deploygd/oraclnew.htm), step 2 requires to enter value of "com.bea.p13n.util.jdbc.internal.OracleJDriverJdbcHelperDelegate" to "Delegate Class Name". But, I can't find this "Delegate Class Name" variable. The available varialbles on the Configuration tab on my screen are: Maximum Number of Retries, Maximum Wait Time (milliseconds), Use CLOBs for Read?, Use CLOBs for Write?. And the Configuration tab is the only available tag for JDBC Helper Service. Did I download a different version from other people? I downloaded it within 3 months.
Can anyone help?

I had my own jndi.properties file that's why it was working with ejb bean I created in the AM and not with the sdo web service.
I didn't know I had to add the jndi properties to the connection.xml maybe you can update the documentation.
