Demand in MRP after backflush

Hi all
Something very weird...after i backflush (repetitive manufacturing), i still seeing the demand in MRP....How should i troubleshoot ? As in repetitive manufacturing, once plan order backflush, the plan order is disappear...how can i track the status of order ?
Regards
Rejoice !

Dear friend,
If you want that after doing the backflush your demand(planned order) should get reduced, than for it you have to done the settings in REM profile.
Go to T.C OSP2.
Here select the REM Profile which you have given in MRP-4 view of that mateial.Double click on it and select the second tab control data 2,there you will see the subscreen for planned order, and there is one indicator, reduce planned order assigned to planned orders, activate it.Might be in your case it is not activated.
Now check it.
Enjoy SAP.

  • Unrelease Discrete Job become demand in MRP.

    Hi,
I facing a problem that need to know.
In PCBA environment which the discrete job only issue once because all the process is link together. However, in the Plastics environment which will break into two proseses which MOLDING as one and ASSEMBLY as another. There will be two different discrete job issue to this in order to complete a FG goods.
PFDX1081UA is the Assemblt FG for the plastics environment. The purchase part is L6HAYYYK0010. When I check the discrete job for the PFDX1081UA which entered MRP NET QTY as 30,000 and the status of the discrete job is unrelease.
The demand in the Purchase part L6HAYYYK0010 which treat this unrelease discrete job qty as demand.
    Is this correct?
How come the discrete job quantity for the PCBA will not show as demand in MRP?

Please expand your question ; I could not able to understand the issue well. From the subject of the questions"Unreleased Discrete Job become demand in MRP.", I can say that unreleased jobs will be considered for MRP Plan provided if it is MRP Planned item.
In this case, unreleased job will be considered as Supply and Components associated with the Job will be considered as Demand (If it is MRP Planned item).
This is correct logic by design.
    thanks,

  • Table for Demands and Supplies after CTM run

    Hi Gurus,
I want to get number of demands and supplies after CTM run .
I can see these details from opt11 . But i want to use these data points further for a custom developments .
So please let me know , in which table these entries sit ? There has to be a standard table for the same .
    Regards
    Bhupendra

    Vikas,
You can also improve changing the data points in CTM global setting /SAPAPO/CTMCUST...
Enable check box : Asynchronous Update and Define appropriate Packet Size and also update
    Package Size for Creating Orders
Package Size for Creating Pegging Rels
    Package Size for Order Selection
Below example illustrates the improved performance by enabling check box : Asynchronous Update and Define appropriate Packet Size
If you set the indicator, CTM first plans the number of demands
specified in the Package size field. Then the system creates the
corresponding orders in the liveCache. At the same time, CTM continues
with the planning for the remaining demands.
If you do not set the indicator, the system first plans all demands and
then creates the orders in the liveCache.
    Example
You want to use the asynchronous liveCache update for 20000 demands.
Enter 1000 as the package size. The system attempts to fulfill the first
1000 demands. The orders for these demands are created in the liveCache,
whilst CTM planning continues for the remaining 19000 demands."
We had similar issue and CTM performance improved significantly after updating the above setting.

  • REM - Tracking planned order after Backflushing

    Dear PP Gurus,
In REM, I backflushed lot of planned orders by using MFBF. In PCC all actual costs are collected totally. Now i want to check how many planned oredrs are confirmed till now as well as what is the pld ord no?. First I confirmed lof of pld ord partially & again confirmed rest of the Qty.
So is there any possible to track the planned ord after backflushing?
                 Thanks in advance
    Regards
    S.Ganeshraja

    Hi ganesh,
Letme explain how do you confirm planned order partially, do you say reporting point confirmation....
Normally once you do the backflush(confiramation)for  the planned order, it  will be reduced  as  per the settings in Rem profile.
suppose if ur doing reporting point operation, , u can track the Planned ordre in table PlAF,  untill u do to the backflsh for last reporting point. once you did the planned wiil be removed from that table.

  • In order sales (VA01), I need to create MRP after release credit.

    Hi!
All Material / New Item included in a sales order (VA01) enters as the Schedule line category = "CN" (without MRP).
But if the client has released credit the program needs to change the Schedule line category for "CP" (with MRP),
and create a "MRP" for this material.
But as the release of credit is made after the "MRP" then the Material is without the request of MRP.
What could you do for the MRP occurs after the release of credit?
    Thanks!

you must use movieclip buttons and code for their frame changes.

  • High demand for resources after installing v.8.0.1. Seems more noticeable on news websites.

Running Windows XP on a Dell Optiplex SX280, high demand for resources that I think began after updating to v.8.0.1. Going to firefox safe mode w/add-ons disabled seemed to help initially, but not now. Seems more noticeable on news websites like fox.com. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I'm going to back up to Firefox 7 next. I'm getting the drift that 8.0.1 and/or flash on 8.0.1 are unstable.
I'll let you know if that solves this problem.
    NOPE. This had no effect.

  • Extract open reservation (with open demand in MRP)

    Dear PP experts,
Would you know how we can extract a list of open reservations (ie. with demand still visible in MRP) ? We essentially manage sales orders, production orders, services orders and PIRs. We were able to extract open reservation for production orders using various criteria on RESB table (eg. bulk material blank, final issue blank, etc...). However criteria for services orders are differents...
Is there any MRP related table which provide this information? Or would you have some hints to accomplish this. My customer want to be able to extract a basic list for sanity review.
Thanks in advance for your help,
    BR,
    Francois Paquet BA

    Hi,
I can think of 2 options:
    1. Use report - MB25, to get a list of material reservations. In the scope of list you can check open reservations. Also there are other selection options with which you can restrict the data read, check the same.
    2. Build a Z report using FM - MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API this would give the same info as MD04 & you can then have custom input & output fields as per your business need.
Adopt the one which best suits your need.

  • Stupid iPad demands security check after confirming install of new app? Why  and can I shut that of somehow  my password should be enough!

Stupid iPad demands security check questions after confirming install of new app? Why  and can I shut that of somehow  my password should be enough!

Judging by the number of successful password hack attempts on internet accounts of all types, clearly password security alone is not enough to verify you are the account holder to a dumb computer.
I'm sure you'd be complaining even more about "stupid iPad" if it allowed anyone who obtained your password easy access without any kind of backup security checks, and spend money on your iTunes / App Store account.
Apple are actively increasing the security of people's valuable iTunes accounts, not decreasing it. Why would you want to make it easier for someone to steal from you and take over your online accounts?

  • IWork DVD still demanding serial number after running iWork trial version

I had the trial version, it expired, and I loaded the DVD. It demanded the serial number every time.
I have read other posts and did all of the suggested file deletions, plus more (Applications, Library, Caches, etc... I just run searches for anything containing those roots). Is there another search I can run to find these obtrusive files?. Every time I reinstall the DVD it asks for the serial number. There has to be somewhere else there is a "trial" file. I have searched every file that includes "iwork" "pages" "numbers" "keynote" and found more than just the directories suggested. Even after emptying the trash, rebooting, etc... I load the DVD and it still asks for the serial number when I try to run any of programs.
This has to be a very common problem and I can't believe Apple hasn't fixed this in the iWork DVD software they give you!
Help! I can't use any of iWork!
MacBook Pro Mac OS X (10.6.4)

I agree that you must be missing something you need to delete. It used to be that to update the trial to the licensed version with the box, you just inserted the DVD & ran the installer to convert the trial to licensed. This has changed with Snow Leopard. You now need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD. You should also use Disk Utility to repair permissions after installation.
    The files to delete are:
    1. the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications
    2. the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support
    3. the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (account name) > Library > Preferences for each user.

  • LongTerm Planning-Demand Creation,MRP Execution

    Hi,
Can anyone explain me what is meant by Longterm planning. What are the Tcodes used for using LongTerm Planning.
How can we say that a given material is planned by Longterm Planning?.
How to create demand in Longterm planning and then execute MRP in Longterm planning?.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
LTP - Long Term Planning is one of the planning tool provided by SAP for the planning puropses. It has got multiple usgaes, for production planning, procurement planning or for budget control etc. Why it is used depends mainly on what kind of business one is doing, what kind of products a company is producing. Mainly we do LTP for MTS scenarios. In MTO scenarios also we can use LTP.
As the name says it is used for the planning purpose only and we can do multiple plannings by using inactive planning versions available or by creationg them. Analyse the result of the planning in inactive version and subsequntly convert or transfer inactive plan to active demand plan and execute the processes in a normal way.
Main object in LTP is the creation of planning scenarios, which contains details reagrding validity dates of scenario, which all objects need to be considered for planning (viz, production orders, sales orders, PO, PR, planned orders , stocks, capacity, BOM explosion etc check t code MS31/MS32/MS33 etc), the plants where LTP is going to be used,  what is the inactive version is going to be used etc. The creation of scenario helps in simulaitong the planning results.
Demand for LTP will be created in a normal way as we do it in DM. You can also use SOP to transfer data to LTP.
You use planning scenarios created earlier whenever you run LTP. The result of LTP are inactive plans and nonconvertibles. You can use MRP result only for the analysis purpose. You do this analysis lutliple times by using different planning scenarios for the same bunch of materials. When you feel one of the scenario/simulation is giving proper results then you can convert that inactive planning to active plan and proceed ahead with normal execution cycle.
    Hope this will help.

    Pavan

  • WFM: Demands still available after completing (status) the service transaction in the resource planning

    Hi,
if I close my service transaction (set status in header and item to 'completed') the assignment in the resource planning is deleted but the demand is still shown in the demand list.
    Can anybody help me?
    Best regards,
    Ferdi

    Hi,
if you need an item to be relevant for resource planning you need to flag the item category as "relevant for resource planning", this needs to be a BUS2000140 item, so is to be entered in Services tab. This will then be transfered to WFM.
Materials used need to be entered in Spare Part tab.
    best regards,

  • No planning files for backflush components- MRP V1

    experts,
no planning file is generated for the compoent with MRP type V1- material backflush with 261 mvmt.
    pls advice!
here then to incluse this component to generate planning file what necessary setting needs to be done?

    Dear,
Planning is carried out based on consumption: if the stock level falls below the reorder point after a goods issue, the material is flagged for planning. During the planning run, an order proposal is created according to the lot-sizing procedure. If you use a period lot-sizing procedure, forecast requirements (future consumption) are also taken into account in the lot-size calculation.
Reservations, sales orders, and so on, are not taken into consideration in the planning file entry and nor materials planning.
Also note dependent reservations neither create planning file entries nor do they increase the order quantity. This would be incorrect as the warehouse stocks would become too high.
The reservation would be considered twice, because it is already contained in the reorder point which is generally calculated via the forecast using consumption data.
you can carry out modification A using the MD_CHANGE_MRP_DATA BAdI and the CONSIDER_RESB. as after backflush system update the reservation.

  • Can i create demand with respect to valuation type for a material in MRP

    hI,
is ther any way to create demand for a material ith respect to vaulation type.
tha means i want to give a demand for a material during a particular period
saying that i want to produce the same material with this vaulation type 200 quantity and another valuation type 300 quantity. will the MRPplan separately.
is ther any provesion for it
    thanks
    regards
    madan

    Dear Mr.Madan,
    This is not possible.
MRP has nothing to do with Valuation type.
Valuation class has the following functions
Allows the stock values of materials of the same material type to be posted to different G/L accounts.
Allows the stock values of materials of different material types to be posted to the same G/L account.
Determines together with other factors the G/L accounts updated for a valuation-relevant transaction (such as a goods movement).
MRP considers the demand given,MRP type, lot size, procurement type and the stocks available.
But what do u want to capture exactly?
    Regards

  • MRP, Backorder, Cross / Inter Company, Schedule agreements

I am implementing Automotive Best Practices - OEM. ECC 6 Germany version.
My confusion comes when I have a look at some of the scenarios as
they all ask for PP and we are not implementing it.
One of these scenarios is A62 Sales Order with cross company
process. According to this process we have a delivery / sales
plant and a production plant. The creation of the customer SO
triggers the entire schedulling agreement process between the 2
plants. The sale splant runs MRP creating the demand. A schedule
agreement is creating the demand on the produciton plant.
The produciton plant then does whatever needs to do - mrp run,
backflush, etc - and "despatches" the stock to the delivery
plant. The delivery plant receives the stock and an intercompany
    billing process occurrs.
After this ONLY will the stocks be available to be picked for the
    customer.
Now my issue is if there is no production plant how will we amend
    this scenario?
Will we still have a fictitious production plant with manual GR
    or upload of stocks??

    Hi Kookie,
when sales order comes to Plant A , create SO which will create scheduling agreements between two plants.
Other plant B will get PR if not PP module and Receive the Goods and transfer to Plant A
    Thanks
    Bala
