Demantra Integration Interface - export

Hi all,
I'm trying to export the results after each forecast and for that I created an workflow that containes a transfer step which refers to a Export Integration Interface.
-I set the following series to be exported: sales_date, history, forecast, abs dev, abs % err, and the Item level
-The time: fixed beginning with 01.01.07 until 12.31.08.
The problem is:
1. that the text file exported contains all the series but the abs dev and abs % err are 0 which is not the case retrospecting the information from the worksheets,
2. and the series are exported beginning with 01.01.07 but they stop at 04.07.08 (with app. 8 months less than expected).

Hi vratna13,
I agree with you and the other members that suggested using a server expression, but I don't know how to create a series with server expression that reproduce the client expression output dinamicaly.
What I mean by that is that the last forecast is stored in the branch_data.fore_1, branch_data.fore_2, branch_data.fore_3 and so on, when I define the client expression and run the workflow that has several steps:
1 load data
2 run forecast
3 export results
I'm not stopping the workflow to redefine the client expression, this workflow runs 50 times without users interaction.
So is there other series available in the client expression list that stores the last forecast or is there a way that I can use the series above so that the output will be everytime the last forecast without any redefining of the client expression and any users interference.

Export integration interface error

I am getting error "’Program internal error:null" when trying to run export integration interface in Demantra where i have specified view as well as filename(comma delimiter). Does anyone know what could be possible reason? It works when i remove filename from integration interface definition.

Data Loads via an Integration Interface

In our Demantra 7.3 environment, Open Orders, Pricing and Trade Spend all get loaded via Integration Interfaces (IIs). Those IIs get called after ep_load_main runs, and there is nothing in the workflow after those II calls.
So how does the data get transferred from the BIIO tables into sales_data and/or mdp_matrix? Since there is nothing in the workflow to do that, I would expect to see triggers on the BIIO tables, but there aren't any.

Data is loaded from BIIO tables into Sales_Data/Mdp_matrix using a workflow step 'Transfer Step' in Demantra.
Transfer step takes the Import integration interface as input and load data from the corresponding BIIO tables into Demantra base tables.
Please check if there is a transfer step in the workflow after ep_load_main run.

Auto-Cad SAP integration interface development regard problem

I have just started working on development of Autocad SAP integration interface using VC++
I want to login into SAP environment by clicking on a logon Menu on a menu bar
I want to get some idea as to how to start with this requirement.

Check your CFG file Settings
Cfg-File\SystemCfg\Defualt\SaveDark\BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2\DOCUMENTFILES\Line_0
then check your settings in "General"
I.e. key "AllCadAppls" --> Value "ACD"
CheckForFileDoubles -> yes
StdKproCategory --> mention your Content Category defined in Content Server
Please let me know after doing this settings

Sibel TPM - Demantra Integration using Siebel Demantra integration Pack

Hi All,
I was working on Sibel TPM - demantra Integration.
I have Demantra 7.2 , Siebel 7.8 and Oracle Data Integrator : 10.1.3.4
In order to integrate Demantra and Siebel I wanted to Install "Siebel Demantra integration Pack " .
Is there any Installation document available in Metalink/Oracle Site.
What are the mandatory steps I need to follow before installing this software.
Also Is there any document ( Like Mapping Document) from where We can find out what Information we need to fetch from siebel and transfer to demantra and vice versa.
Please provide your inputs on this.

Demantra Integration

My client is currently on 11i EBS with no planning modules - MRP or ASCP or Demand Planning.
They are thinking about going ahead with Demantra (for sure) and ASCP (maybe). They may look at R12 upgrade in the future depending on how economy shapes up.
Can somebody give me the overall architecture for demantra integration with 11i EBS?
I will also be interested in demantra interation architecture diagram with R12 EBS and APS.

ODI interface exported to XML

Can ODI export an interface definition out to XML? I don't mean the interface data out to an XML target, I mean the metadata describing the interface itself, out from the work repository to an XML document. Is this provided as a feature in the tool?

Yes. Right-Mouse-Button on the interface and there in the list is Export.
Note that the export will contain references to the obejcts directly related to the interface by code, withing the project. The export must be imported into the same project elsewhere.
There is some discussion on the export/import processes in the dicumentation.

Demantra Integration with R12 EBS instance without APS /ASCP

Will the out of the box integration work without the APS in the R12 EBS instance.
The client runs SCP and does not use APS for this.
The client wants to implement Demantra - so how will the integrations work because there is no APS available ?
Any thoughts would be helpful.

Demantra does not integrate with SCP. But You can code such that Demantra output can go into a forecast and then load the forecast into SCP.

Shipment Data Integration to Export Dec

Hi,
I need to integrate data from the shipment to the export declaration and could use some assistance. Two peices of information are the forwarding agent and the packaging/handling unit information (we pack in the shipment, not the delivery).

Wouldn't it be really nice if GTS could provide that integration? Maybe you'd care to promote my "idea" on that topic?
I have also integrated the Shipment packaging on a couple of occasions. Of course if you are combining Deliveries, it might make sense to pack at that level. You will need to do a little development in the standard BAdI /SAPSLL/IFEX_SD0C_R3 to read and include packaging and the Forwarding Agent partner, but a good developer should be able to handle that quite easily.

Better Photoshop integration for exported jpegs

Jpegs exported by LR have to be saved with new compression parameters if opened & then worked on in Photoshop. This can be very annoying & time consuming when working with numerous files which need a minor correction (such as dodging & burning which I would also like to see as part of LR) in Photoshop but which are not worthy of creating Tiffs or PSDs as intermediaries. Saving with new parameters cannot be automated with a Photoshop action (I've tried).
I would also like more options regarding the embedding of previews etc as per Photoshop (Mac, PC, Full size, none ?) to appear in the Export Dialogue Box.
Minor irritations on an absolutely fabulous program !

Color profiles, metadata or some such thing. There is a known issue where Preview will not work with images when they contain such data, but not always. Depends on which kinds of information are stored.

I am not aware of any customer who has integrated SABA Centra with SAP Learning Solution. However there are several implementations of SAP Learning Solution integrated with Adobe Connect. Studying the documentation of this integration and talking to the consultants who have done such implementation might give you an idea of the skills required and the time taken. A good amount of documentation is available from the [book on SAP Enterprise Learning|http://www.sap-press.com/products/SAP-Enterprise-Learning.html] You may want to talk to the product owner Srinivasa Raghavachar to get his thoughts and additional documentation.
If possible ask your customer if they are willing to consider using Adobe Connect, which is part of SAP Enterprise Learning.

A mutilple sources to multiple targets integration interface

I need to populate multiple target tables based on multiple source tables. Is there a way to do it using ODI?

Tables on the target side are related through a foreign key. So I need to populate target table 1 with interface 1, then populate table 2 with interface 2 using both tables on the source side and a newly populated table 1, right?

Where to Find the IVR Integration Interface Spec/APIs

We're developing a IVR client to talk to a PG and I'm having trouble finding documentation, libraries & sample code.
We do have a older document 'ICM VRU interface specification 3.0c' and two include files but our developer is coming up short and needs some additional documentation.
My question is, where can I find this information?

Import Integration Interface

Hi,
I have requirement to load data for the combination of Item, Organization, Qty, Date.
For e.g.
ABC Org1 100 01-01-2009
ABC Org1 200 01-04-2009
Here the Qty and Date are for each quarter.(My lowest time bucket is Week).
1. How can I load Quarterly data into weekly buckets ? I need the Qty to proportionate down to weeks in that quarter.
2. What should I load into Sdate column of BIIO_ interface table ?

1. Create a worksheet with quarter time bucket as per your requirement.
2. Create a series with server expression which will point to the BIIO table and pull date to the respective series
- relate this series as proportional and refer it to relevant series say baselineforecast
- ensure update field is referred for saving
3. Call the new series in the worksheet with quarter time bucket
Hope this will automatically aggregate/disaggregate as per the requirement.

EBS -Demantra Integration - Item Status attribute

Hi,
We would like to bring Item status attribute to Demantra from Oracle Inventory.
APS standard collection don't bring this data into APS server. Any suggestion?
How to map in Demantra, as Item Attribute or MDP_Matrix combination level or any type of series?
Possibility it will be a unique combination of Item and Org.

You can create a new combination level or use one of existing seeded combination level in Data model and put the correct status attribute values in T_SRC_SALES_tMPL for the item-org combinations in it. EP_LOAD will then download this as a combination level and it's population into Demantra, which you can use in worksheets based on need.
