Demo License for Virtual Image of Web Security

I had downloaded the latest image for Virtual WSA.
But I am not able to get the demo license for that.
It is showing the message "Access to the page resitricted."

Hello,
You should have privileges as long as you are logging into the site using your CCO ID. If you do not have one please register for a CCO ID on www.cisco.com and you should have access to get a demo license. If you are logging in with your CCO ID and its still giving you the error message then you will need to reach out to your Cisco Account manager to provide the demo license. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Demo licenses are included in the DVD or ISO of UCCX. You can find them in the \DemoLicense\ folder. There are four demo licenses. STD, ENH, PRE, and IPIVR.
If you have an ISO image, you can extract the licenses with archiving software like 7zip or WinRAR.

Demo license for the Adobe PDF library

Hi,
Does anyone knows how to get the demo license for the adobe PDF library?? I just need to test the API calls to see whether they suite my needs or not.. Kindly help me in this regard... Any other way would also be welcomed.. thanks..

The Adobe PDF Libarary is mainly licensed through DataLogics
(http://www.datalogics.com/)
So contact them directly to find out if a demo license is available,
and what the eventual licensing terms would be.

I believe you get very limited (1x traversal/1x non traversal) licenses if you just install the software.

Cisco does not offer a demo license for AnyConnect for Mobile. The activation key for that license is not time limited and nothing would prevent you from installing it and then using it forever in production.
That said, it's not very costly to purchase - no more than a couple hundred US$, depending on your ASA model.

VDA licensing for Virtual Desktops

Hi,
I always seem to browse thru the VDA Faq everytime I need to do up a proposal for a Desktop Virtualization solution. Can anyone clarify some things that are vague for me right now.
1) If current environment all users use OEM machines with Windows XP, say VDI is rolled out using Windows 7. We know we would need to get the VDA license per device that is about to access the Virtual Desktops. But how about the Windows 7 Base
OS license itself? Is there a need to buy 1 Volume License Windows 7 media when preparing the master image using that OS?
2) How does the VDA usage rights extend when the users primary using it, goes home and uses their own home PCs to connect back to their virtual desktops? Do we need to get another VDA license for that use?

Can I use ISE demo license for wireless purposes???

Hi all.
We want to try an ISE deployment with one or two WLC and the license twe want to use initially is the demo embedded in the ISE appliance. We don't know whether we can do it because demo license covers base and advanced capabilities but not wireless (at least in administration/licensing this box shows "not installed" leyend) and we don't know whether a demo tape of wireless solution will work with this type of licensing; if not, is it possible to get a demo wireless license for ISE?

Demo License for 10.5?

I've upgraded from 8.6 to 10.5 and was hoping to use a demo license while waiting for the 10.5 NFR to become available. There is a file on the disc called 100_pre_demo.lic, but when trying to use this, it gives a lot of errors about invalid MAC addresses. Is there a demo license available for 10.5?

I was running 8.6 on a marketplace NFR license - this a is a lab demo system. I upgraded to 10.5 and I see that the 10.5 NFR license pack isn't available for a few weeks, so was trying to use the demo license included on the disc, but says "Invalid Mac Address: FFFFFFFFFFFF" for each of the licensed features:
"Error : The Cisco Unified CCX Premium Software feature (1st line) of ccx100_pre_demo.lic has invalid MAC address [FFFFFFFFFFFF]."
I have reached out to licensing to see if they can give me a temporary license.

Need new license for upgrade of Sun Web 6.1 SP3 to SP5?

I want to update my Sun Java System Web Server 6.1 2004Q3 SP3 to Sun Java System Web Server (Multi-Platform) 6.1 SP5 International Edition (essentially going from 6.1 SP3 to SP5). Will this version work with the license that I purchased last November 2005? It seems some of these downloads have a trial license that expires, since it is a full-install rather than just an upgrade piece.

None of the Web Server 6.1 downloads are crippled or time bombed in any way. If you have a license for 6.1, you can (and should!) apply the latest 6.1 service pack without purchasing an additional license.
The 6.1 service pack downloads can be used for new installations or to upgrade an existing 6.1 installation. To upgrade an existing installation, run the setup program and instruct it to install to the directory that contains the existing installation.

Adobe licensing for using fonts on web

I have master collection cs5.5 and - for example - myriad pro light font inside of it. On Adobe website on fonts there is whole myriad pro family available for web usage. So, if i've paid for master collection with myriad pro shipped inside, can I use adobe fonts for website for free (@font-family in CSS), or do I have to pay for such usage anyway?

Hi Niten,
Not usre on this. But these are defined in a stylesheet so I guess you can change that either in the HTML code tab in the web template in WAD. If that is not possible then change it in Report deisgner or change the stylesheet in MIME repository.

Setting "Services" for exporting images to web

In Bridge there is a setting when exporting images to social media that is called "services". I cannot seem to active this selection so that I can set up my pw and login to send images directly from Bridge. Can anyone help me set this up?
In Bridge I get a window called "Add Preset"
There are two tabs: Destination and Image Options
Under Destination I have the option to:
The <button> Export is highlighted but when I select it I get this error:

Sign In To Facebook with a button that says Sign In.
When I click that I get the following Error:

I have no idea just what to do.

I also have Creative Suite 5, which I believe comes with an Adobe set of fonts. Are these all licensed?
Licensed? Yes, but not necessarily for the web. Some licenses allow use in print or images but not the web.
Custom Web Fonts
For legal reasons, don't just assume you can use any font you wish on the web. Fonts are protected by intellectual property laws in much the same way that software is protected from unlawful copying, modifying or distributing. In other words, a font owner can say "Sure, you can use my font but you can't alter it, you can't reproduce it and you can't distribute it." On the web, that's a deal breaker because you need to be able to do all three.
These font-families are common to most Windows/Mac systems.
