Denied by Victoria's Secret...

I got the itchy finger again and applied for a Victoria's Secret Credit Card. I thought my chances were good because I was just approved for an Express credit card and they are both issued by WFNNB...boy was I wrong. Got the good old "7-10" message. I even called in and the lady told me that the approval is not always instant...yeah right lady! So fustrated with myself right now. My credit isgood, no baddies and I've been approved for good cards tthe last two months. Just concnerned now for the inquiries...sucks!! There needs to be an app addiction group on here cause I'll sign up! LOL!!!! I am going into the garden...I promise! NO MORE APPS..atleast for the remainder of this year. Pray for me ya'll!

Approved-Capital 1 & Victoria's Secret with low score & other updates.

Hey just wanted to update. I got a secured card maybe 6 months ago (hasn't been much more than that) from Capital One. I applied for a new card today and got approved for their Mastercard for $500. I have a TU (credit karma) 499, EQ 526 and EX 503. So I was pretty shocked I got it but I guess having the other one helped? I also got approved for a Victoria's Secret Card for $250 (same scores) --- didn't get the pop up for SCT so I just applied. My husband got a Kohls card for $300 his scores are EQ 569, TU 590, EX 585 (all from myfico). ----tried for Barclays and got denied tho. Hit the LUV button on his VS & Torrid Card. VS went from $150 to $350. Torrid went from $250-$450. Tried on Marathon card but it didn't go up (they did give him an automatic bump of $250 not that long ago tho). He also got an Auto bump from his Capital One Journey card from $300- $500 last month. Overall good news. Especially for me because my credit is horrible and I cannot believe I got a normal unsecured mastercard. And my husbands is good news too. His credit has gone up quite a bit since I've been working on his. Hopefully this time next year and we will be able to do more. Keep focus on the Cap One card, they will truly reward you for on time payments and their increases will be fair and often. You may want to try the pop up for Overstock. They normally offer higher than average credit lines. The pop up pre approvals may come after many tries, but it is worth it.

Comenity (Victoria's Secret) SUCCESS!!

I have a VS Angel card (Comenity Bank) that I had a 30 day late on back in Aug. Sent multiple GW letters to several different addresses and either received no response or a "we do not change correct info"
Found the email of the CEO and went for it. Sent the same GW. The sweetest, most amazing rep from The customer relations dept called me back and told me she would be removing the late and will be sending a letter to confirm. Update should be made within 45 days...
I really want to announce this to everyone around me because I am so happy but i don't think my co workers would understand the excitement as much as you guys would haha

No luck with Victoria's Secret SCT

Im in the process of rebulding my credit. Since learning about the SCT I have been approved for Simplybe and Marisota both $200 CL. I cannot get any of the others to work. My scores are very low mid to high 500s). Prior to learning about the SCT I did a few HP apps within the last two months. I recently was approved for a Walmart store card $400, Fingerhut, a WF secured card and a secured card through my credit union. There are a few cards I wish I could get before gardening. One of the cards I really want is VS. I keep reading how its an easy approval via the SCT but Ive had no luck. I just had a relative with fairly good credit test the SCT and my relative was approved for $1000 limit but was uninterested. So I know its not my computer or browser, its just me. I do not plan on doing anymore HPs for at least 6 months or more, but I would really like to get VS, possibly Overstock, Avenue or maybe even Gamestop. Any advice?

That was the one I really wanted too, but it eluded me for about a month.... But once I got approved for one of the cards (Express via pop up) the others popped up... The way I got it was I made an account... then one day (just randomly), I checked one of the emails from VS and through that email... I was able to get it to work. Goodluck!!

Woohoo CLI's

Earlier this week I decided to press the LUV button on my Victoria's Secret card and got two $200 increases, bringing my account up to $1700. Not that I will ever spend that much at Victoria's Secret, but the increase aids my overall credit limits and I'll take that with the SP CLI. Tried my other Comenity cards and they were a no go, but they haven't been open very long.
Fast forward to today, I logged in to check on my Capital One accounts and decided to go for a CLI on my Quicksilver one card, I've been denied the last two times I've tried, but figured that it couldn't hurt, especially since this was my third statement. Put in all my information, BAM $1000 increase bringing the card up to $1500! I love how they ask if you want the increase or not. I'm still in credit steps with them, so I'm hoping for another nice increase in about 3 more months, but I'm incredibly happy with this increase! These nice increases were in addition to my FICO TU score taking an 18 point jump earlier this week as well! I wouldn't be at this point if it wasn't for this forum and I can't thank you guys enough!

If you have a fraud alert or comenity *THINKS* you have a fraud alert, that could be one reason. I've been fighting them for a month just to get a replacement card, they are using a stale report for me as I formerly had an alert on my CRs, but it's been removed since late spring.

Apple policy on inappropriate content for iBooks

Hello,
I have an idea for an iBook that I would create using iBooks Author, and plan to distribute via the App Store (or the iBooks Store, or wherever it ends up when you submit it via Author).
However, I've been warned that Apple has a policy on inappropriate content and, having spent time and effort on creating this iBook I'm concerned that it may be rejected without an obvious reason being given. Examples of past censorship seem to have included references to gay images (no nudity - just two men kissing), and even censorship of text.
I have also found references to "Apple's policy on inappropriate content" on non-Apple sites that offer an iBook creation service, but I can't seem to find that policy on Apple's website.
Is there a resource anyone can point me to to prevent me wasting a huge amount of time and money? I'm thinking specifically of policies for the enhanced iBooks with embedded video files.
BTW - I'm not talking about *********** or offensive text content. But there would be mildly "adult" video material that I would put on a par with something you might see in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Definitely no nudity.

Can't get dreamweaver to open swf files.

1. The parent *.FLA file that was used to create your *.swf
file
2. Flash (the application, not the reader plugin)
I'm afraid you are holding a very short stick. All Flash
websites are not
the way to go unless you are Nike or Victoria's Secret.

Firefox won't auto update or manually update, Opendns is blocking sites

Open dns blocks sites such as Victoria's secret and an art studio I want to go to for nudity, lol. I don't remember loading it onto my computer and I don't have admin access to Open dns. So I can't uninstall or unblock sites. Also I get a message that Firefox could not update. I have the latest version of Firefox.

I don't have an administrator, so I don't know who to ask. I contacted OpenDNS and they replied: You have a Netgear router on your network with Live Parental Controls enabled.

Afterward, flush your web browser caches and DNS resolver caches.

Credit Limit on Store Cards

So I've had my VS and Express cards since October with great payment history.... I am in the process in trying my 630 score a little higher... Do you think I should call and request a credit limit increase??? I have two other CC with about 50 UTI which I do plan on paying down. My VS and Express cards both have a 0 balance right now

This is horribly incorrect misinformation, the vga of the gt72 laptop is mxm modular so it can be upgraded, however this laptop is not capable of sli as the laptop is not physically designed to hold two graphics cards. The gt80 is the laptop that has the 980m/970m sli already.

I use Gnome and my wireless card is an intel ipw2200.

I think you need to have dhcdbd in the DAEMONS array before networkmanager. Last time I looked at the networkmanager script, it didn't start dhcdbd by itself.
