Denied for Amex ED Preferred
I was denied for an Amex EDP about one month ago, shortly after being approved for the Chase Freedom for $3k. A few weeks later I was approved for the CSP for $5k, and I recently got a $1,000 CLI from Cap1 from their Credit Steps program. That's brought my limits up from $2k between three cards (including a Cap1 secured card I cancelled after getting the Chase cards and a $600 credit union cc) to about $9.9k in the past month! Now, about the Amex denial: Factors that contributed to being denied were:Number of trades (?) EXFico score at the time (679 EX)Number of inquiries, type and recencyAmount of available credit being too lowNumber of delinquent accounts (paid off two collections, one being a medical bill, back in May)No recent loan accountsToo few accounts paid as agreedTime since last delinquency too recent or unknownToo many inquiries last 12 months (Can't be more than 4-5, if that) Anyway, my current scores sit at 678 EQ, 618 TU, and 683 EX. FAKO scores 713TU, 714EQ. I'd like to shoot for the Amex ED in a few months, seeing how maybe I was too bold going for the EDP. Though at the same time, considering I got the two cards I wanted most (Freedom and Sapphire), maybe I should just hang loose and let those accounts build my score up before applying for anything else. Cards I've applied for since June: AAdvantage Citi (denied), Chase Freedom and Sapphire (approved!) and Amex EDP (denied) Suggestions??!! Thank you
Based on the denial reasons I believe it is as you stated yourself "Though at the same time, considering I got the two cards I wanted most (Freedom and Sapphire), maybe I should just hang loose and let those accounts build my score up before applying for anything else."
Also, let inquiries age and just manage what you have properly..IIRC seems like the Amex revolvers supposedly have more stringent underwriting standards last I heard...so possibly the choice of card was a problem,not sure if much diff,ED or EDP seems they'd have the same req.
I am by no means an expert and I can't wait to see what some of them have to say....

AMEX Everyday Preferred Pending App - CSR responses have varied.
Last week I was feeling it with my 650 FICO scores across the board and decided to apply for an AMEX revolver. I have two business cards from them, the American Express Gold Rewards card and the True Earnings Costco card (with the latter soon to become useless since Costco dropped AMEX). i recieved mix responses from 3 different CSR and I was wondering if anyone experienced this before. I didn't get an approval or a denial, simply a message that said my application is under review. Right now on the application status page it shows : We will notify you once your application has been processed, or if we need additional information. If you wish to view an electronic communication of your decision details once we have made a decision, click here.
I also got an email that contained this message: So I called them up 3 times today: 1st call was a female CSR. She told me my application is under review and I needed to wait 4-5 business days. I asked her what could be the possible reasons for such a long hold up and she told me it's because initially I probably didn't qualify but because of some certain factors or that I might have a history with American Express they are manually reviewing the application. Here is where it gets weird 2nd call was a male CSR and he told me because I already applied for the AMEX BCE and was denied (WHICH I DID NOT APPLY FOR), my application for the AMEX Everyday Preferred card was also declined and to wait for the letter in the mail. I told him I did not apply for the BCE and he told me to hold on. He then apologized, took my SSN once again and told me that I was right and I did not apply for the BCE but the application was denied and to wait for the letter in the mail. My application status is still at "In Progress" so I decided to call one more time. 3rd call was a female CSR and she told me that another represenative has already took a look at my account. I told her I called back because a male CSR told me my application was denied and I wanted to know if that was the cause. She said it's still pending, under review and has not been denied. What the title says. The Amex pre qual site says im pre-qual'ed for Amex Gold and Gold Premier. But i plan on doing quite a bit of traveling soon and based on that i would really prefer Platinum. Should i try for Platinum anyway? If i do apply for Platinum and get denied, will they do a second hard pull when i apply for Gold Premier?

I am getting the following error message while connecting with the MySQL .(O/S :Sun OS 5.6)
Error.....java.sql.SQLException: Invalid authorization specification: Access denied for user: 'some_user&password@localhost' (Using password: NO)
Note that i have given all permission to the user using,

but I have this environment to develop applications, now that I want to connect to Production Environment happens the following:
2 The Production database is mounted on a Linux Server with MySQL 3.2.
2.1 I change the sentences as follow:

2.3 But a message appears when I run the Java Program:

More notes:- I have the MySQL Query Browser and I got connection.
- The IP that display the Error Message is my Second IP configurated on my Network Properties.
- Server is a Pentium 4 3.0 GHz 2Gb Linux Red Hat 3.0
I leave this case for the spider... I hope that somebady has the solution.
What is the problem? Why the JDBC doesn't respect the IP that I wrote. -
OBIEE access denied for some users only

we are using OBIEE 10.1.3.4 version on windows envorinment .The users can access the OBIEE reports using 'PORTALPATH' session varible in RPD.For some of the users are got "access denied" while they are accessing for thir particular dashboard.Eariler these user got access this dashboard with out any errors.We dnt changed in our system anything from last three months.
We have no idea why we are getting these error for particular users only.Its Prod issue we need to reslove these error ASAP.

Thanks,Well its Prod (you have a dashboard called testdashboard in Prod?) anyway - someone might have changed the presentation catalogue permissions on the dashboard. All it takes is for someone to remove 'Everyone' or change a Group permission and it could effect.
If they changed the Parent folder and cascaded the changes down this might cause this issue.
You have a folder called 'Shared' - check the groups that the people are in have 'Traverse' , 'Read' or higher. Also chek dashboard permissions themselves from Settings-Manage Interactive Dashboards - Check the Padlock icon.
Are you users getting allocated into the correct WEBGROUPS ? Is this assisngment done explicitly in the webcat or via an RPD Variable ? Have you checked NQQueryl.log to make sure any init blocks are completing successfully?
Either persmissions have changed or group memebership is not completing.

Event GR Posted is denied for the DBM Order - External service procurement
Dear Experts,
We are facing the below mentioned issue while trying to perform goods receipt for external service procurement.
Error - "Event GR Posted is denied for the DBM Order -------XXX"
The error message is raised when the tracking number is maintained in the Purchase order of External servce,
If we remove the Tracking order (DBM Job order number) from Purchase order and then perform Goods receipt (MIGO) then the error does not exists.
Request you to help us with suggestion.

Requirement Tracking number in Purchase order item screen. Field name - BEDNR.
Please note that the job order number is not manually updated by us. It is automatically updating in PO line item through Purchase requisition details as per standard behavior.
If we perform goods receipt then we are getting error message as "Event GR Posted is denied for the DBM Order -------XXX".
Goods receipt is working properly if we remove the Job order number in tracking order field in PO.

Access denied for all (most?) users in all site collections of web app
Hi,
I have a Sharepoint 2010 farm pre-SP1 (yes should be updated!) and for all site collections of a web app, all users are getting access denied.
Now in my title I said "most?" because I have found one user in another office who does not have this issue. This web app/site collections also do not go through f5 or any proxies.
Even if I add myself as a site collection admin via central admin, I get the same result. I've looked at everything, windows time on the server (not using kerberos), errors in event log (nothing), uls logs just say access denied (very helpful!), etc...

Please try logging in the site with farm account.
If it works, please make sure you have superuser and superreader accounts in CA > Application management > web application policy. If not, please add both accounts with the powershell script in the article below, this can cause all users denied when
access the site:

BI Dashboard - access denied for user to path /users/administrator/_portal/

While I am within OBI EE, I try to access My Dashboards and I get this error message:
" access denied for user to path /users/administrator/_portal/dashboard layout.
Error Details
Error Codes: O9XNZMXB "
I have looked in other forums and found a solutions which was to delete cookies and then restart the system whole. It didn´t work at first. After a while, the system would allow me to access My Dashboards but then....
....I wasn´t able to access the shared filters that are on the network, thus impeding my others dashboards to work.
Does anybody know what the correct procedure for having this work is?

go to Catalog Manager.
Open and navigate to particular folder (_portal in shared)
right click that and go to permissions.
In left pane are you able to see the presentation Administrator ??
If then, check what kind of permission Administrator has (full control or not), if not.. add Administrator into this pane from right pane (In the right pane, You can see the user by Unchecking the check box present below show groups only check box.)
you didn't tell with whom you logged in?
If administrator then follow the steps i mentioned,
else... same steps but instead of administrator check it for particular user.

I get this error msg - Permission denied for to webpage get property XPCComponents.classes
A couple of days ago I started geting the error msg -Permission denied for to <webpage> get property XPCComponents.classes. It happens with every webpage I visit. If I hit the x in the upper righthand corner I can then access the page. This doesn't have in IE. Any ideas how I could fix this and why it started happening?

If you look in the Error Console for that '''XPCComponents.classes''' error, there should be a '''Source file: chrome://''' address which might give us information related to which extension is causing that message.

The cashier said I would receive my card in 7-10 days and handed me the printout. I noticed it said "further review," so I called only to find out I was denied for too many inquiries?! Including Target, I have 5 on EQ, no negatives and 800+ ficos. I was livid at the time, but have since calmed down to come and ask - is there anything I can do? The only reason for denial was the inquiries, so I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to recon? Thanks!

MySQL connection with OWB 11gR2 results in "access denied for user"

I just try to establish a connection to a MySQL database with OWB 11gR2, but I always get the error "access denied for user...". I did the things written on [http://blogs.oracle.com/warehousebuilder/2010/01/owb_11gr2_mysql_open_connectivity.html] and I also used the platform configuration from this description. Newest JDBC driver was downloaded and I put the jar-file into the folder OWB_HOME/owb/lib/ext. The definition of the MySQL platform worked and the entry "MySQL" was created in OWB, but no connection can be established. I also tried other tools like MySQL Administrator in order to find out whether the problem is caused by network configuration or sth. like that, but with this tool the connection works.
OWB is installed on OpenSuse 11.1 64bit. Does anyone know why this error occurs? Perhaps I missed some configuration tasks, which I don't know so far?

thank you for your reply. The corresponding user has already got this host setting. Anyway he got the wildcard '%' and with other tools I can connect.
I solved the problem now due to just trying around with usernames. The error was quite funny: OWB changes the username always into upper case and MySQL cannot handle this username. The username must match 100% to be able to login.
Now I just changed the user in MySQL and wrote the username in upper case. But in fact I would like to know if it is possible to avoid that OWB changes the username, with quotes it didn't work ;-)

Now I'm facing another problem: the connection works, but I cannot import any metadata. When I click on "Browse" to select the correct schema in MySQL DB, no result is displayed. The user anyway has go the privileges to select data from this schema. I also tried to provide the user with every possible privileges for this schema, but I still cannot select any schema. When I write the schema manually and then try to import database objects iin OWB the error message "definitions of userdefined metadata interface are invalid" is displayed (translated from german, so the wording could be different). Does anybody have an idea what the problem could be?

I have an early 2008 Mac Pro, 8 gb ram with a Dell 27” display and a 42” LG TV. I am thinking about upgrading the stock ATI Radeon 2600 graphics card for better resolution, preferring 2 dvi outputs or 1 dvi and 1 vga vs 1 dvi and a mini. I don't do a lot of Final Cut Pro, gaming, etc. I am interested in best value for the graphics card.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the best graphics card for these larger displays for the best value?

• can re-wire or otherwise "work out" the power cabling, THEN:
You can use many more cards, even most "PC-only cards"
