Denmark iPhone

I am from Denmark, and i want an iPhone. The iPhone is much more cheaper in USA, so i want to buy an iPhone on the US Website. But which network should i select, please answer me quickly!

You cannot use an iphone from the U.S that has a carrier.
You would have to buy a full price unlocked iphone ( $649/$749/$849)
Apple will not ship to another country.
The warranty is only good in the U.S.
Buy one in your country.  You are just asking for trouble doing otherwise.

where can I buy a mini-sim card for my iphone 5 in Norway or Denmark or France?

    This original post is mine
I wanted to clarify that Verizon has unlocked the phone for me before I left the US
The international sim cards that I have been able to locate in Norway are caled Mycall or Lebour.
They are labled mini-sim cards but do not fit nor are they as small as the original Verizon one.
I am out in the country-side now but will be in Bergen, Norway and Copenhagen, Denmark over the next few days.
Thanks in advance for any help.

  • I want to buy an iPhone in Shanghai, but when i'm going home will it be available on the European LTE (Denmark)

As you can see i want to buy the new iPhone 5S here in Shanghai, but i'm not sure how it works with all the networks and if it has to be unlocked. So i hope there's a clever head out there who can help me out with this problem. If i should go to the Apple store, what should i ask for and is it even possible to buy a model which is working in China, Denmark/Europe.
If there is anyone who can help me with this, please post a clear answer, because don't got that much knowledge about things like this.
Hope someone can help me figure this out !

No it will NOT work on LTE in Europe
and unless you can buy an unlocked iPhone from Apple (no-one else)it will not work at all

  • UK iPhone 4s, bought sim free, can I use it in Denmark

I have an iphone 4s bought in the UK, sim free, I have moved to denmark but cannot use any danish sim cards in it. Is the phone locked to uk or would it have locked to my old uk carrier? Or can apple unlock the phone?

phones are not locked to a country but can be locked to a carrier
if it is then one is required to contact the carrier it was locked to and get it unlocked they are
the only ones with the power

  • But iPhone in America but live in Denmark

If I purchase an iPhone here in America while I am visiting here for the holidays, will it work when I go back home to Denmark?

    Dear Chad,
The phone will work, but read the following :
I purchased an iPhone from an Apple store in LA. I told the salesperson that I wanted to use it overseas , on business. I was told by the Apple Store salesperson, that roaming per month "would cost about $100 to $150 per month for 100 to 200 calls".
My first account from AT&T was $1316, then the next was $1100+.
    These are facts about AT&T.
The phone is good , but do not go outside the city limits of a US town unless you are a billionaire Denmarkian.
Wait untill the IPhone goes to Finland, as that country prohibits phone companies locking in contracts to phones. I am sure the roaming will be cheaper from there !

  • Can I use an iPhone 5C bought in the U.S in Denmark?

I'm from Denmark, and my father is travelling to the U.S next week.
I was wondering - If my dad buys an iPhone 5C there, will I be able to use it here in Denmark?

    try this https://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/obligor.html which states
For consumers, who are covered by consumer protection laws or regulations in their country of purchase or, if different, their country of residence, the benefits conferred by Apple's One Year Limited Warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies conveyed by such consumer protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to these additional rights.
However, the phone must be ordered directly from US apple store, unlocked and be covered by phone support as per

  • If i buy an iphone in USA and don't buy a contract, could i use it in Denmark then and buy a contract their and still have no problems with the iPhone.

If you buy an Unlocked iPhone from the US, you can use that phone on any carrier that supports that particular phone (either GSM or CDMA). So yes, this is possible. But if anything happens to the phone that requires Apple's help, you will have to ship it back to US for that service.

  • I have an unlocked iPhone 5 purchased from Europe and would like to use it on AT

    Hello-
I purchased an iPhone 5 in Denmark where I live.  It works fine here and when roaming.  I travel to the US every month and therefore have a post-paid full AT&T account.   In fact it is a shared data plan and I spend about $700 per month just from AT&T.  I have had an AT&T account for years but recently moved to Europe.
I can put my AT&T sim in my iPhone 5 without issue, and the basic GSM features work.  In fact, the phone recognizes 4G.  That said, the phone does not support mobile hotspot, FaceTime over cellular, no LTE,  or visual voicemail.
I first went to the AT&T store, and they said no problem.  They swapped my AT&T SIM card, and added features to my account.  However, after several hours still no joy with the advanced features.
When I called AT&T, and explained my issue, they escalated the call to tier 2 tech support.  They escalated it again and said it is an IMEI problem.  Basically, AT&T does not recognize the IMEI of my phone,   They view my iPhone 5 as a generic GSM phone.  I asked them to just "force it" and put it in their database, but they said AT&T was not allowed to do this.  Evidently, Apple does not allow AT&T to classify IMEI numbers.  Their system needs to know that the device is an iPhone 5, and that the only way they can do that is via the IMEI.
So question, how do I get AT&T to recognize my iPhone 5?  I don't want to carry two phones, and just want to be able to swap my SIM card when I travel.
I know that LTE will not work because AT&T uses 700 MHz for their LTE and my phone supports international LTE specs.
    Thoughts?

It sounds as if AT&T has already told you they can't do what you want. It doensn't sould like anything that's fixable on your end.

  • IPhone 3G with problems, problems, problems

    Hello Apple and everybody else.
I live en Denmark, where we have been "allowed" to buy the 3G iPhone since June.
But it hasn't been a "happy mariage"! Here are some of the things that have made my experience bad:
    1. It crashes in Safari all the time
    2. Apple has chosen a network (Telia) that almost does not have 3G coverage... DOH!!
    3. It looks like the glass screen is coming off in the bottom
    4. Ringtones.... Why can't we buy them at iTunes store?! When Apple already has made the guides in Danish and all that.
Dont you get, how many people here cracks there phone just to be able to get the intended features for the phone?!
    5. Visual voice mail... not possible here in the country...

  • Iphone 5c: Screen cracked, disappointed in Apple

So long story short... Or as short as possible.
Im a big Apple fan, have multiple i-products and a MacBook. My daughter is following in my footsteps with her iPad and an iPhone 5C that she got for Christmas.
One of the reasons we've chosen Apple, is the impression that they give great customer service, and always go above and beyond. (Just look at all the stories online in different Apple forums with people cracking a screen on their iPad, and getting it replaced out of warranty etc.. It seems to be a fairly common occurrence, that people get a goodwill repair and/or replacement...)
Anyways, she came to visit me in Denmark from Canada, for a few weeks, and the other day another girl bumped into her in a store: Her iPhone 5c thats she's holding hits the floor, and bam! The screen has a huge crack, but its only the outer glass thats damaged, and the phone works normally despite the visual crack.
We go to the Apple store in Sweden the next day (there are none in Denmark), to hear what our options are, and the service technician who checks out the phone lets us know that the out of warranty screen replacement (fall damage) will cost us 240$, per Apple Stores policies.
Since the phone originally is from Canada however, and since the phone is under her moms contract, we tell him that we need to confer with her and see what we're going to do. The phone is still working perfectly, so waiting a couple of weeks and getting the screen replacement done in a Canadian Apple store would be significantly cheaper. The tech tells us, that this is fine, and we're welcome anytime to come back and get it done with them if we change our mind, since "we're here for you' or some schlock like that...
Two days later while at home, the phone seem to completely die on us: Screen goes black and it doesn't seem to respond in any way.
Now I've had both an HTC and a Samsung phone die on me from one minute to the next, where the whole motherboard/phone was replaced under warranty, so I know that it DOES happen that a component on the motherboard dies for some reason or another. And since the phone has been working fine for three days after the drop, its unlikely that this is related to the phone being dropped.
So back to the Apple store we go...
We get the same tech that helped us the other day, and after taking the phone out back, he comes back and tells us that they would need to replace the whole phone, and since the phone has been damaged already, we'd have to pay around $400 for the replacement. (Out of warranty replacement, despite the phone being less than 9 months old).
I point out, that this hardly seems reasonable, since despite the outer glass screen being cracked, Apple should still be responsible for the internal parts failing under warranty. (Heck, my former Samsung phone also had a crack on the screen, but that didn't stop them from replacing the motherboard...) And since he saw the phone work fine despite the cracked screen a few days earlier, he knows that it happened well after the crack appeared.
When we left three days previously, he also said that we're welcome back any time to get the screen replacement done, and didn't say anything about us voiding our warranty on the phone, by not having it fixed right then and there.
I ask him if he's positive that the whole phone needs to be replaced, instead of just a screen replacement, and what their diagnostic computer told them out back when they connected it. He said that it was completely dead, and gave an odd explanation about water damage, from water entering through the cracked screen. (Despite that they never opened the phone to check for water damage.)
Now while I'm back at home, I just found out that my Macbook&iTunes can talk to the phone just fine, and it shows up like before, despite the screen being dead. Which means that the Apple tech lied to me, and couldn't be bothered with hooking it up to a computer at all...
I got to say that I'm really disappointed in the service the Apple store showed us. No, I didn't expect to get a brand new phone thrown at us free of charge, but I did expect to get great service, or at least the same level of customer friendly service I've seen in the past when I still had my Samsung and HTC, instead of a tech who couldn't even be bothered to diagnose the second error to see whether just a screen replacement would fix it or not.
Any advice as to what to do next? Would we be better of with trying with a different Apple store, or an Apple store in Canada, or is this the new level of customer service in Apple Stores in general?
I could get the screen replaced elsewhere for around 100$, though I'm not 100% sure if it would fix the error or not. (It seems that it would, since iTunes recognises the phone just fine...) It would void the warranty, but right now my faith in that warranty isn't very high anyways.
    I'd appreciate any advice, thanks!

If your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad is Broken
Apple does not fix iDevices. Instead, they exchange yours for a refurbished or new replacement depending upon the age of your device and refurbished inventories. On rare occasions when there are no longer refurbished units for your older model, they may replace it with the next newer model.
ATTN: Beginning July 2013 Apple Stores are now equipped to do screen repairs/replacements in-house on iPhone 5 and 5C. In some cases while you wait. According to Apple this is the beginning of equipping Apple Stores with the resources needed to do most repairs for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches that would not require major replacements. Later in the year the services may be extended as Apple Stores become equipped and staffed with the proper repair expertise. So, if you need a screen repaired or a broken screen replaced or have your stuck Home button fixed, call your local Apple Store to see if they are now doing these in-house.
You may take your device to an Apple retailer for help or you may call Customer Service and arrange to send your device to Apple:
