Deny acces to ESB & IB

Dear Experts,
Is it possible to have a monitoring user who does not have the access to Enterprise Services Builder & Integration Builder?
Thank you,
Suwandi C.

Hi Suwandi,
You can assign Monitoring User Group, see User Management for the AEX (PI-AEX) - SAP NetWeaver Process Integration Security Guide - SAP Library
However still read-only access to ESB & IB is possible. This should be sufficient.
Best Regards
Harald

    That is a generic warning message that you get if you submit a form via a normal HTTP connection (i.e not in via a secure HTTPS connection). That warning pop-up probably has a box to suppress this message in the future.
    If you exchange data with your bank site then there should be a secure connection.
    You can verify that by clicking the Site Identity Button (website's favicon) on the left end of the location bar.

  • Denied acces to Initialization properties file - help

    I am triing to load a properties file from a servlet. I added a JVM Option to find the properties file on the file system. I get the following error.

    You mean you want a mapping between each directory and a class that will handle the new data?
    I would recommend that your "new file listener" peruses the upload directory looking for new files regularly and, when it finds one, calculates the directory it is in:
    eg, c:/ftp/dir1/myfile.xml gives dir1
    You can then use a Map to retrieve the class that should process this file.
    public interface ContentHandler
      public void handle(File file) throws ContentException;
    public class ContentHandlerManager
      private Map contentHandlerMap;
      public ContentHandlerManager() throws Exception

        InputStream in = null;
        try

        finally
          in.close();

          String dir = (String)e.nextElement();
          String className = properties.getProperty(dir);
          ContentHandler contentHandler = (ContentHandler)Class.forName(className).newInstance();

  • How to query a custom picklist from Opportunity's revenue?

    Hello,
    I would like to query a custom picklist from Opportunity's revenue. I am using Picklist.wsdl:
    myPort.getPicklistValues(myPicklist, Revenue, "");
    With this operation I have the following message: denied acces. (SBL-ODS-50085).
    I have tested with another entity and it works perfectlly:
    myPort.getPicklistValues(myPicklist, Opportunity, "");
    So, I think the problem is in the entity name, so can I access to Opportunity's revenue¿?
    I am very confusing, because in Web Services documentation I have seen:
    NOTE: The Revenue child object of Opportunity is actually called Product.
    I have tested with:
    myPort.getPicklistValues(myPicklist, Product, "");
    But it isn't exists in this entity: SBL-SBL-00000
    The role has access to do the query via Web Service, because it is the administrator and with it I can do any other operation via Web Service...
    What I am doing wrong?
    Thank you and regards.

    I have found the answer:
    Objects Supported with getPicklistValues operation:
    GetPicklistValues is supported for all Web Services v1.0 and v2.0 accessible parent-level objects.
    Revenue is a child object, so I can interact with this operation :(

  • ABAP program to change SD sales order originally created on CRM

    Hello all!
    Please, I would like to ask you some wisdom about this question:
    I need to use a BAPI (BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE) or a call transaction (to t-code 'VA02') to modify in the R/3 system (v. 4.7) a sales order that was originally created in the CRM system.
    If I try to do it manually, in t-code VA02, I get a message that this order must be modified only in the CRM system. I debugged and found that there are functions that check this and deny acces to the order.
    I found this check on form FV45LF0M_MESSAGE_VARIABEL. This it the one that issues the error message.
    Actually I need to find a way to, without modifying standard routines or tables, change the order the way I said.
    Please, can someone help with some ideas?
    Thank you very much for your time!
    Best Regards,
    Douglas Cezar

    Rob, thanks for the answer.
    To adress a specific business need, I have to update the order directly in the R/3 system, without having to go to the CRM system.

  • Images do not appear in mail messages

    After the recent combined update to OS 10.7.3 MAIL does not show images as part of received messages. Instead the messages are littered with square boxes with question marks inside them. This only happens on my MacBook Pro 2.93GHz Intel Core Duo with 4GB ram and not on my iMac running the same system.
    I have tried junking preferences etc but no change.
    I have also made sure that the "Display remote images in HTML messages" is checked in MAIL preferences.
    Any ideas anyone at Apple or on the forum???
    Many thanks

    OK, resolved. It was Little Snitch that was denying acces on Port 80.
    Changed this to allow traffic and images are back in my messages.
    Hope this is the solution for anyone else with the same problem.

  • Security - Invalid members restriction

    Dear Experts,
    In one of our dimension master, many members are invalid. So our management has dicided to restrict certain users not to see these invalid mambers from CV(in excel and web). When we try to deny acces for these members in different profile(member access profile) it is not working as explained in security document.
    Eg:Entiry dimension hierarchy is as below
    H1
    WorldWide
    -Sales
    ---Sales Asia
    Sales Korea
    Sales Japan
    ---Sales Europe
    Sales Italy
    Sales France
    **User1 does not belong to any team.
    There are two member access profiles: ProfileA and ProfileB.
    **Both the profiles are assigned to the user.
    The member access profiles are described in the following table:
    Member access profile| Access   |Dimension  |Member
    ProfileA                    |Denied      |Entity         |SalesAsia
    ProfileB                    |Read Only |Entity        |Sales
    In this case, the least restrictive profile between the two, ProfileB (Read Only), is applied. As a result,
    ProfileA is ignored by the system, and User1 is able to retrieve data from both SalesKorea and
    SalesItaly.
    If we define both in same profile as follows its working fine.
    Member access profile| Access   |Dimension  |Member
    ProfileA                    |Denied      |Entity         |SalesAsia
    ProfileA                    |Read Only |Entity        |Sales
    In this case User1 is able to see Sales Italy data but not Sales Asia.
    We can achieve our requirement by maintaining all existing profiles by adding invalid members as denied. But we have to change many profiles(100+) . Thats why we are trying to include all invalid members under one profile (for easy maintainance) and assign this at team level.
    Is there any way to acheive this with out changing existing profiles.
    Thanks in advance...
    regards,
    Raju

    Hi Raghu,
    Thanks for the suggestion.
    If we create a separate profile with denied for all invalid members and assign the same to users/teams. When system checks for members based on profiles attached to user/team it will pick least restricted profile. since the same members may assigned at other profile with R or R/W system still allow them to see those members even though its dinied in another profile.
    thanks,
    Raju

  • Deploy MMC settings (Group Policy SnapIn to disable mass-storage devices to non-admin)

    Hello,
    To deny acces to non-admin accounts to removable storage devices and CD/DVDs, I've added in MMC a new snap-in that allows me to do so. Once added this feature, I save the file, wich is a .msc. Now I'd like to add it to my WES8 image, but don't know where
    or how to do it. I've tried executing the file via cmd but it doesn't work, the modifications aren't saved. Does anyone knows how this could be possible?
    I've tried following exercise 901 "Creating and Implementing a Custom Security Template" from Sean Liming's book, but as the file it's not a .inf like in the example (I suppose it's because of this but I'm not sure) I get errors when running secedit.
    Also, I've tried creating a module with GroupPolicyUsers folder that is created in Windows/System32 after saving MMC settings. But after installation I go to this folder and there are no files inside. I'm not sure if this is because I can't deploy like that
    a system folder or because I'm doing something wrong. Maybe I'm not creating the modules the right way cause I have another module that shoud install radmin and it doesn't (I've tried executing the command I use to install it "msiexec /i %SystemDrive%\Windows\SoftInstallers\rserv35es.msi
    /quiet" and it works well, also I create a module with chrome.msi the same way and it's installed well).

    I think you might want to look at this:
    http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101869-local-group-policies-apply-all-users-except-administrators.html
    Copy off the GroupPolicyUser folder into a module.

  • Data Sources (Tomcat) - mysql

    I tried setting up a Data Source in Tomcat to use a mysql driver, but couldn't get it to work (my Servet wasn't able to find it using a context lookup). I got told by someone that Tomcat had a problem with Data Sources.
    So I placed the mm.mysql.jar file into Tomcat's /common/lib/ and am now using the drivers directly like this;
    ClassLoader cl = this.getClass().getClassLoader();
    Class.forName("org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver", true, cl).newInstance();
    conn = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:mysql://xxx.xxx.no/dbname?user=xxx&password=xxxx");It works fine,
    but I'm wondering if this will cause problems for me later? What about connection pooling etc. that I had to specify when setting up the data source in Tomcat.

    PROGRESS !!
    Initial problem
    To set up a connection with DataSource by following
    JWSDP-1.0 tutorial on Servlet's
    I set up a connection with DriverManager by following

    I set up a connection with DataSource by following
    -- TOMCAT 4.1.12 > DOCUMENTATION > JNDI DataSource Howto
    My guessing thought is that the root cause might be a mysql-configuration theme ..
    for example, to configure
    "javauser@localhost identified by 'javadude' "
    actually GIVES acces,but if you try
    c:>mysql -u javauser -pjavadude
    I get denied acces ..!?

  • Windows authentication with WCF-NetTcp adapter

    I have a WCF-NetTcp receive location and I like to set it up with Windows Authentication. (transport security)
    IIS or WAS is not used so the receive port is self-hosted.
    I would like to configure a certain user or group that has permission to send messages to this receive location. All other users/groups must be denied acces. How do I achieve this? I know how to configure windows authentication in the binding but I cannot
    find a way to configure a specific user or group.
    I am using BizTalk Server 2010.

    Hi,
    You should implement a custom behavior extension to achieve this.
    See
    here for an example.

    Thanks, I was already looking in this direction but was hoping this could have been done easier.

  • Website proxies

    Hey Team,
    I hoping maybe some of us can consolidate ideas/solutions to the
    evergrowing website proxy site to bypass filters. I have been monitoring
    and inputing new rules and these sites come up. I find using the proxy
    cache monitor NWadmin very effective on finding the commonly used sites
    and I also use BRDstats to create the HTML statistics logs of every 10meg
    log file I have. we currently do not use a 3rd party content filter, and
    so therefor it's very hard to keep up the paces with these new sites that
    come up. I noticed that many of the sites are now providing automatic

    I'm the network admin for a small to medium sized school district and I've also recently been running in to this. The students are constantly coming up with new proxy sites.
    As an add-on to BM we also have the Connectotel Linkwall suite. This suite allows us to then use the site http://www.urlblacklist.com/ to periodically update the rules. They keep up fairly well, but I still end up adding quite a few sites manually myself and I watch the activity and see students finding new ones. You can download their black list for free if you'd like.
    I'd also be interested in hearing in anyone else has good ideas to help prevent access to these proxy bypass/anonymizer sites.
    Thanks,

    Hey Team,
    I hoping maybe some of us can consolidate ideas/solutions to the
    evergrowing website proxy site to bypass filters. I have been monitoring
    and inputing new rules and these sites come up. I find using the proxy
    cache monitor NWadmin very effective on finding the commonly used sites
    and I also use BRDstats to create the HTML statistics logs of every 10meg
    log file I have. we currently do not use a 3rd party content filter, and
    so therefor it's very hard to keep up the paces with these new sites that
    come up. I noticed that many of the sites are now providing automatic
    email of new proxy sites to help keep ahead of the filters. incase your

  • Acces denied

    Hello to everybody. I'm developing a Client-Server application with RMI, I'm having a problem.
    I can lookup the remote object, but it throws an Exception when a method of this remote object returns an Object. The exception is:
    java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is:
    java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling arguments; nested exception is:
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:acces denied to class loader
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: java.security.AccesControlException: acces denied (java.io.FilePermission \d:\projectes\m2m\build\- read)
    <<no stackl trace available>>
    This occurs when I move the server to a public Ip, when the application runs in a LAN, there are no problems. I think i have all the permissions, and I don't know what i have to do. Can anybody help me, please???
    P.D. Sorry for my bad English

    Do you start your server with a server security policy like:
    -Djava.security.policy=server.policy
    server.policy:
    grant {
    permission java.net.SocketPermission "*", "accept, connect, listen, resolve";
    permission java.util.PropertyPermission "*", "read";
    permission java.io.FilePermission "<<ALL FILES>>", "read, read, write, delete, execute";
    permission java.lang.RuntimePermission "setIO";

    Geri
