Dep. run from back date

Dear all
I have a problem.
We acquired an asset on 08.08.2007. Since then the depreciation is being calculated on that.
Now we have further made an acquisition on the same asset on 30.07.2009 but we want the depreciation on that part to be calculated from 08.08.2007.
Is it possible to do that in the system?

But how to do the unplanned depreciation for the part of the old fiscal year?
That will demand opening up of old posting period for 2007 and 2008.

I attempted to update my software on my iphone 4. The screen now says either set up as a new iphone or restore from back-up. Each time I choose run back-up and press continue it tells me "itunes could not restore the iphone "Sarah's iphone" because an error occured.

That's literally all it said "the back-up could not be restored because an error occured".
Anyway I did the old trick of shutting down the pc, rebooting & trying again.

If it backed up the lock file, then Lightroom was open when Time Machine ran, and the backup therefore may be corrupted. You could try restoring that backup (without overwriting your week ago version) and see if it'll open. If it does, you're off and running. What methods have you tried?

A Few days ago, I tried to trouble shoot my bad battery issue. One of the tutorials suggested I restore my phone to factory settings, and also suggested to start fresh delete all data and restore it from back up. I downloaded the most current iTunes. and I backed up my phone before I cleared my phone data. I had the basics on my phone. I still had battery issues. I took it down to the Apple Store yesterday,(Wednesday) so they replaced my battery. I got home and I tried to restore my phone from the back up I made Monday. Then I noticed my notes, and contacts were missing. I figured well what if I wipe my phone clean again, and treat it as I was upgrading to a new phone. Then when it was done, I noticed my notes, pictures, contacts were missing. I made sure I selected the back up from a few days ago, before I even messed with my settings. Has anyone else experienced this before? Notes, Contacts, and pictures not being restored after restoring from a previous back up. Thank you in advance.
My phone is backed up on an Old HP Laptop running Windows XP
I have the current iTunes (installed before backing it up on Monday)
my iPhone.5 has the ios 7.1.2

TThanks but when you connect it automatically picks the last phone that was backed up which it did for everything but pocked the previous phone to this one for the itunes account??

i think after executing a procedure you want to call commit operation. better you can perform this.getDbtransaction().commit In Application Module;yes i want to commit transaction after executing back end procedure using preparedStatement.Procedure is for inserting data into same table , which used for creating VO and Read only ADF Table.Procedure is executed fine, but newly created records are not getting into ADF table.Once i did commit opeartion inside back end procedure, whole records are getting into ADF Table.
Is there any way to get whole records without doing Commit operation inside Back end procedure?

HT1766 I did 2 back ups on one date. how can I restore from first back up from same date? I don't see in my list of back ups as 2nd back up overtook first back up.

I was syncing my iphone with itune and there was a update which system started downloading then something happened and i had to restart my computer. when i restarted my computer, itune started backing up my iphone eventhought there was nothing left on it. now this second back up overtook my first back up
and in that process i can not back up to my first back up (as its from same date i guess) I have lost all my contacts. I did not have any icloud back up or my contacts are not being backed up locally on my computer either. if anyone knows how to find back up other than listed on back up lists, please help. Thanks

I believe you are missing the point. The OP has already restored from back up, but failed to include a specific app in the back up and is trying to recover data for it, which in this case is not possible.

You can not access the backup directly.
Did you restore your replacement from this backup?
If so then you already have everything in the backup on your device.
If not, you can wipe the device and restore from this backup:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings
What is it you are worried about losing that isn't already on your current device?

Select setup as "New", the next screen should prompt you to rename your phone. Just name it what you already have it named. After that, you should be able to sync and all of your data & settings will still be exactly as you've already set them up on your phone. The message is more threatening than what really happens.

IMessage won't work/isn't up-to-date on iPhone 6 after restore from back-up

So I have been trying to set up my new iPhone 6 since Tuesday and I am at my wit's end. I have been an Apple user for years and am usually good at fixing issues myself.
BACKGROUND: With my iPhone 5, I was having an issue with bookmarks not syncing "Bookmarks could not by synced because the iPhone cancelled the sync" starting shortly after I updated to iOS 7. I had incorrectly assumed the issue would be corrected with a subsequent update, but that never happened.
iPhone 6:
When I first set it up, I did from the last back-up from my iPhone 5, however it somehow did not complete. I initially thought I'd lost my 2700 pictures that were on the 5 as only 500 showed in the 'Recently Added', however iPhoto (on MacBook Pro) detected all 2700 on the phone even though they weren't showing, so I successfully imported them from the 6. When I went to sync the 6, it gave me the same bookmark error. I tried turning off hard sync and syncing through iCloud but nothing happened (I have never synced from iCloud as when I first tried to set it up after it was created, it created duplicates of ALL of my information and I just never had the time to mess with it. I figure if the hard back-up works, that's all I need.
That being said, I did NOT intend on having a brand new phone with the same error, so I did a FULL RESTORE and set it up as a NEW IPHONE. Everything worked seemlessly including my iMessage, however it did not have any of my old messages or recent calls which I thought was strange if that information is associated to my Mac/iTunes account. I thought the Game Center would have saved most of my info from my games, but when I saw I didn't have any of my info from my Lists app, games, and other settings and passwords, I decided I would try a different way.
So I removed unnecessary apps with no info, photos, and music from my 5, synced and backed it up, updated to iOS 8, backed THAT up, and then did a RESTORE FROM BACK-UP on the new iPhone 6 from that latest back-up. Despite that, I have discovered that the messages and recent call list that DO appear on the phone only go through MARCH of this year... I am so confused as to how the most recent back-up would have only backed up info from March... My games data is up-to-date.
I THOUGHT everything was working with the exception of STILL having the same BOOKMARK SYNC ERROR, but I just discovered that my testing/iMessage does not work at all. I go to send a message, and it just shows the blue bar loaded 3/4 of the way, and never delivers the message. My boyfriend confirmed that he cannot send me messages either, which makes no sense because the phone was set up under the same phone number and emails as my iPhone 5 was. I really don't have the time and/or patience to go into Apple, but after spending ALL day yesterday trying to re-set up the phone thinking everything worked, I am quite exasperated. I have been using Apple products all my life, and I have NEVER had this much trouble.
I never had any significant software issues until iOS 7, and the fact that they are still ongoing is quite ridiculous. It's getting harder and harder to defend Apple and their quality products if they don't kick it into high gear and fix these glitches!

P.S. I did some reading on how iBackUpBot is supposed to fix the bookmark syncing issue, but it seems a bit technical. Perhaps clearer instructions would be helpful.

Well, right now, Apple is getting loads of people who are trying to download the new update. My iPod is doing the same thing, so, just wait an hour or two and then try again. It may take a while to veryify the update, and even longer to actually download it. Some people at my school updated their OS in study hall, while others were having the same problem you were. It should be fixed soon, just relax...

30 days back data from selected date

Hi Gurus,
I have date prompt in a format (02/01/1998(MM/DD/YYYY)12:00:00 AM) and I have report with 4 columns in the 1st column date 2ed column sales 3ed column 30 days back date 4th column 30 days back sales.
Date | Sales | 30 days Back date(from the selected) | 30 days back Sales
How i have to take the days from the above format and make that to 30 days back can any one suggest me how to implement this.

I added timestampadd(SQL_TSI_DAY, -30,Date) formula in the Fx of 30 days back column and it is showing 30 days back date but it is not showing 30 days back Sales it is showing same sales for both date columns.

I am new to ABAP.Recently i have planned to write a progam which will help in planning the delivery of scheduled items.For a given sales Org. it will display all the undelivered,delivered items in a simple list and sort them with delivery dates.it will also provide a summary report at material group.For that i have used selection screen(LIKP-VKORG-Obligatory).when i enter VKORG Details i should get all the delivery docs for which delivery is not done or partially done.For this i have taken one more table LIPS
(LIPS-MATKL,LIPS-MATNR,LIPS-VBELN,LIPS-POSNR,LIPS-WERKS,LIPS-LFIMG,LIPS-MEINS) for tables LIKP and LIPS VBELN is the key field.when i enter VKORG Data in the selection screen ,how can i get the data from LIPS Table.Please explain?
Also report should be simple list with seven time buckets starting from the date when the report is run.The amount of quantity to be delivered should be displayed under appropriate bucket i.e within the bucket where its delivery date falls in.for ex:If the report is run on Tuesday 15th march 2010 then the start date 1 should be starting date of the week which is Monday 14th March.
The report will be summarized at Material Group and Material Number.

Depreciation run from the posting date

Hi Team
My client want deprecition to be posted from the Posting date instead of start date of the document period
he is trying to post assets through F -90 it calculates depreciation from the
start date of the doc. period
Eg., Asset no 8000000049
Document date-11.11.09
posting date-21.11.09
depreciation is calculated from 01.11.2009 but he want from 21.11.09. further
if the document month and posting month are differenet the depreciation
is getting calculated from the document month.But he want depreciation to be posted from posting date only in both scenaio's

Hi,
Please go to your asset master (AS02), and see which dep key is assigned to your book depreciation area in depreciation areas tab.
Then set your COD with OAPL.
Go to AFAMA and choose your dep key, which you found in your assset master, double click on the dep key...
There one check box will be available as Dep to the day...select it. SAVE
Now check your asset in AW01N, now it will calculate dep from asset posting date.

The function of IP: write back data from layout or query into DSO?

I am very wondering that if BI-IP has the function of adding or modifying data directly into DSO ?which like the function of BPS layout writing data back to infocube? If it could ,how?

Please search the forum before posting - this question has been asked quite a few times earlier.
IP can read data from multiple types of infoproviders (including DSO) but it can write back data only to real-time infocubes.
